Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa kelas V dalam Matematika melalui Pendekatan RME dengan Media Beton. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan sumber. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Pendekatan RME dengan Media Beton dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika tentang bentuk pada siswa kelas V.

Abstract

This article is a theoretical review for describing multimodal literacy in elementary school learning. The exposure in this article is based on the application of multimodal literation. This paper relates to the pedagogic aspect of the implementation of multimodal literacy learning in the view of constructivism. Learning aims to prepare students for the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. The idea of Literation has now changed because at this time it relates to digital content. Thus, multimodal literacy needs to be examined to explain the role of multimodal literacy in elementary school learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of Natural Environment Approach (PLAS) to improve the science process skill in elementary school students. This classroom action research is a collaborative study conducted by teachers and prospective teachers. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V. The results showed that the application of PLAS can improve the science process skill through the steps of: (1) determining the learning objectives, tools and instruments needed, and instructional activities, (2) the students are divided into several groups, (4) investigating and observing objects, discussing task sheets, and recording information, (5) reporting findings, (6) conclusions and evaluations of learning.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the interest in learning on social science before and after having scramble learning model to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in Pejagoan Subdistrict Kebumen Regency in academic year of 2019/2020.The research was a pre-experimental quantitative design in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design.The results indicated that the Sig.(2-tailed) in the hypothesis test was 0,000< 0,05. The result of tcount>ttable was 4,350 > 2,010. In addition, based on the average score of interest in learning of social science, the pretest was 150.00310 and the posttest was 155.52406. It meant that the application of the Scramble learning model effected in increasing students' interest in learning in social science.It concludes that there is difference between the interest in learning on social science before and after having scramble learning model to fourth grade students of public elementary schools in PejagoanSubdistrictKebumen Regency in academic year of 2019/2020

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of SD Angkasa Colomadu teachers on online science learning during the pandemic. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods and a case study approach. The subjects of this study were three teachers of grades IV, V, and VI SD Angkasa Colomadu in the academic year 2020/2021. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. The data validity test techniques used the triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results show that the teachers felt that learning sciences in the network was not optimal. Teachers do not optimally apply basic process skills. The teachers feel the limitation in the communication process.  They also have a restriction on directing the students to formulate hypotheses, conclude the material, guide experimental activities, attract students to ask questions, guide the measurement process, guide observation activities, classify, interpret, and predict processes due to media limitations. On the other hand, teachers feel that online learning makes teachers more innovative, creative, and able to take advantage of cellphones, computers, and the internet in learning activities, especially in learning science online during the pandemic period.

Abstract

The world development of the 21st century is marked by the progress and the demands of technologies, which may lead to regression. Life in the 21st century demands a person to master a range of skills. One of the important skills in the 21st century is critical thinking skill. This study focuses on the definition, importance, challenges in developing indicators and assessment of critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skill is the ability to think logically, reflectively, productively and systematically appeared in making consideration and making the best decision. Critical thinking skills are beneficial in improving the analysis skill, creativity, ability to make use of ideas or information, and looking for information skill as well as self-reflection. Learning can do the development of learners’ critical thinking skills. An important indicator in the critical thinking skills is interpreting which about an ability dealing with studying or analyzing, identifying the relevant or irrelevant sources, identifying and evaluating the assumptions, implementing various strategies to make the appropriate decisions, summarizing and regulating themselves.

Abstract

Abstrak. Revitalisasi LPTK mendesak untuk dilaksanakan dalam rangka menghadapi MEA. Selain itu, LPTK-pun dituntut untuk menghubungkan antara pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Research-Based Learning (RBL) berpeluang sebagai solusi revitalisasi dan keterhubungan pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian. Kajian ini fokus pada definisi, manfaat, langkah, serta peluang dan tantangan RBL di LPTK. Hasil kajian ini meliputi: (1)  RBL merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan riset dalam rangka membangun pengetahuan; (2) manfaat RBL adalah mengembangkan sikap saintifik, kemampuan inkuiri kritis dan solusi yang kreatif; (3) RBL dilakukan dengan cara: menyajikan topic, menyajikan referensi, merumuskan hipotesis, membahas metode penelitian, melakukan penyelidikan, mengalisis dan menginterpretasi data, dan membuat; (4) RBL sangat berpeluang diimplementasi pada banyak mata kuliah yang melibatkan teori, best practices, dan praktikum. Kata Kunci: Revitalisasi, LPTK, RBL.  Abstract. Revitalization of LPTK urgent to be implemented in order to anticipate the MEA. In addition, LPTK required to linking between teaching, research and community service. Research-Based Learning (RBL) opportunity as a solution revitalization and linking of teaching, research and service. This study focuses on the definition, benefits, steps, and the opportunities and challenges of RBL in LPTK. The results of this study include: (1) RBL is a learning model that integrates research in order to build knowledge; (2) The benefit of the RBL is to develop a scientific attitude, the ability of critical inquiry and creative solutions; (3) RBL is done by: presenting the topic, presenting the reference, formulate hypotheses, discuss methods of research, investigation, mengalisis and interpret the data, and create; (4) RBL is very likely to be implemented in many courses involving theory, best practices, and practicum.. Keywords: Revitalization, LPTK, RBL.

Abstract

The use of Value Clarificatin Technique (VCT) in improving Pancasila and Civics Education Learning about the theme entlitled “Health is Important”. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research conducted within two cycles consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data used were in the form of qualitative data, namely the value of the attitude of responsibility and knowledge of the contents of Pancasila and Civics Education learning. The result of this research indicated (1)the use of VCT implemented by the following steps: (a)expositon, (b)presentation of dilemmas, (c)determination of arguments, (d)testing of argument and classification of values, (e)inference, and (f)evaluation; (2)VCT learning model could improve Pancasila and Civics Education Learning as evidenced by an increase in the percentage of completeness in the value of attitude 6,12% and increasing the percentage of completeness of the value of knowledge 8,44%;and (3)the problems encountered, namely: (a)less extensive materials, (b)stimulus didn’t reach the whole class, and (c)timing was less effective; Solutions are: (a)developing material, (b)enlarging the stimulus, and (c)creating effective timing. The conclusion of this research indicated that the use of VCT could improve the attitude and knowledge of the Pancasila and Civics Education content on the theme entitled “Health is Important”.

Abstract

IPA merupakan mata pelajaran yang berkaitan dengan alam, sehingga banyak melibatkan lingkungan sekitar siswa dalam pembelajarannya. Agar pengetahuan dapat dibangun oleh siswa, guru biasa menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). LKS biasanya berisi petunjuk dan langkah-langkah untuk menyelesaikan tugas, baik yang bersifat perorangan maupun kelompok. Saat ini, pembelajaran IPA hanya mengenal lingkungan, tanpa ditindaklanjuti dengan memperhatikan potensi lokal yang ada di daerahnya. Oleh karena itu, kami tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang LKS yang berbasis potensi lokal agar pengetahuan dibangun oleh siswa dan potensi lokal dapat dikenal oleh siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode design-based research melalui langkahlangkah sebagai berikut: (1) analisis masalah praktik melalui kolaborasi peneliti dan praktisi; (2) pengembangan solusi sesuai dengan masalah; (3) pengujian dan penyempurnaan solusi dalam praktik; (4) refleksi solusi yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa pengembangan LKS IPA berbasis potensi lokal dapat dilakukan dengan melalui langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) menetapkan standar kompetensi; (2) menetapkan kompetensi dasar; (3) menganalisis potensi lokal berdasarkan SK, KD dan materi yang sesuai; (4) menyusun tujuan yang akan dicapai; (5) menyusun petunjuk kerja; (6) mendata alat dan bahan (bila diperlukan); (7) menyusun langkah kerja (menghubungkan objek dengan potensi lokal); (8) menyediakan ruang bagi siswa untuk membuat kesimpulan; (9) menyusun keterampilan proses yang dikembangkan. Abstract

Guru membutuhkan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum dan sesuai pontensi lokal pada setiap pembelajaran, termasuk pembelajaran Ilmu Pengatahuan Alam (IPA). Ciri-ciri umum potensi lokal antara lain: a) ada pada lingkungan suatu masyarakat, b) masyarakat merasa memiliki, c) bersatu dengan alam, d) memiliki sifat universal, e) bersifat praktis, f) mudah dipahami dengan menggunakan common sense, dang) merupakan warisan turun temurun. Tujuan kajian ini adalah mendeskripsikan materi berbasis potensi lokal pelajaran IPA SD Kelas IV. Kajian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan: a) mengidentifikasi materi pelajaran IPA SD Kelas IV pada kompetensi kurikulum 2013, b) memilih dan memilah materi yang berbasis potensi lokal, c) membuat rincian materi pokok, dan d) menyajikan hasil analisis potensi lokal. Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa hampir seluruh materi pembelajaran IPA SD Kelas IV merupakan materi berbasis potensi lokal.
