Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how employee job satisfaction at PT. Sinar Musi Jaya Palembang is influenced by career development and the work environment. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach for all 65 employees. After questionnaires were collected, multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data. The results showed that, both partially and simultaneously, the work environment and career development programs increase employee job satisfaction. A comfortable, safe, and supportive work environment has been shown to increase employee job satisfaction. Furthermore, a clear, organized, and sustainable career development program also increases employee motivation and loyalty. Therefore, companies must continue to create a pleasant workplace and offer real career opportunities for their employees. This is crucial for increasing job satisfaction, which can positively impact company performance and productivity.

Abstract

Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) merupakan salah satu sektor yang memberikan  kontribusi signifikan untuk mengatasi membludaknya masalah pengangguran yang tinggi. Hal ini dikarenakan daya serap UKM terhadap tenaga kerja yang sangat besar dan dekat dengan rakyat kecil. Tetapi UKM yang ada di desa Ghonsume masih banyak menghadapi berbagai masalah antara lain masalah manajerial, pemasaran, mutu, pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna seperti internet, facebook, youtube, instagram serta masalah promosi dan penjualan produk yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu, penjualan dan pemasaran produk melalui pemanfaatan e-commerse atau teknologi patut dicoba untuk dapat membantu para pelaku UKM yang ada di desa Ghonsume. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan juga pengetahuan kepada mitra dalam  meningkatkan daya saing dan mutu produksi di desa Ghonsume. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan cara melakukan observasi, edukasi dan monitoring. Hasil dari pada program pemberdayaan ini mitra mengetahui cara pemanfaatan teknologi untuk pemasaran produksi maupun untuk pengiklanan serta promosi atau pengenalan produk usaha melalui aplikasi facebook, youtube, whatsapp, instagram dan lainnya. Dengan demikian mitra dapat memahami dan menguasai fasilitas informasi tersebut serta dapat mengenalkan produk usahanya sekaligus sebagai media pemasaran.

Abstract

Despite comprehensive regulatory frameworks supporting inclusive education in Indonesia, significant gaps persist between policy formulation and practical implementation for persons with disabilities. This study examines the role of Regional Technical Implementation Units (UPTD) in bridging these gaps through comprehensive service delivery mechanisms. This qualitative descriptive study employed a phenomenological approach to investigate UPTD Disability Services and Inclusive Education's role in enhancing inclusive education for persons with disabilities in Samarinda City. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key informants including the Head of UPTD PLDPI, school principals, and teachers, complemented by direct observations and documentation analysis. Data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques, while analysis followed Miles, Huberman, and Saldana's interactive model. UPTD PLDPI performs four primary roles: developing inclusive education policies, providing facilities and support services, enhancing teacher competencies, and promoting community awareness. The institution has facilitated inclusive education implementation in 178 schools serving 840 students with disabilities. However, significant challenges persist including insufficient community awareness, limited human resources and budget constraints, inadequate curriculum development, and insufficient infrastructure. The gap between 1,730 total persons with disabilities and 840 enrolled students indicates substantial access limitations. The findings reveal both progress and persistent barriers in inclusive education implementation. While UPTD PLDPI demonstrates institutional adaptability and policy responsiveness, systemic challenges require coordinated multi-stakeholder approaches. The research contributes to understanding how regional technical units function as intermediary mechanisms between policy formulation and practical implementation, emphasizing the necessity for enhanced coordination, comprehensive teacher preparation, systematic community engagement, and sustained resource allocation for effective inclusive education delivery.

Abstract

Inclusive early childhood education demands not only equitable access but also teacher competence and adaptive instructional leadership. This study investigates the relationship between academic supervision and teachers’ understanding of children with special needs (SEN) and the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework within an inclusive kindergarten context. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 10 early childhood teachers at TK Khalifah, East Kutai, Indonesia. Data were collected through validated questionnaires, structured interviews, document analysis, and observation. The instruments measured two main variables: academic supervision and teacher understanding of SEN and UDL. Descriptive analysis showed that both variables predominantly fell into the moderate category. Inferential analysis using Pearson correlation revealed a strong positive relationship (r = 0.81) between academic supervision and teacher understanding, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 86.6%. These findings suggest that academic supervision makes a significant contribution to teachers’ inclusive competence. However, the moderate performance trends may reflect limited access to structured professional learning and the absence of contextual variables such as prior training or institutional support. The study concludes that differentiated, reflective, and collaborative supervision is crucial for advancing inclusive practices. Practical implications include the need for enhanced supervisory models and targeted professional development for early childhood educators. This research offers empirical insights to inform inclusive education policy and instructional leadership in early learning environments.

Abstract

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) represents a critical framework for creating inclusive educational environments, yet its implementation in early childhood education remains underexplored, particularly in developing countries. Contemporary early childhood institutions often evaluate children based on socially constructed notions of normalcy, potentially excluding diverse learners. This study investigates UDL implementation challenges and opportunities in inclusive kindergarten education across diverse geographical contexts. A qualitative multi-site case study was conducted across three kindergarten schools in East Kutai Regency, Indonesia, representing urban, suburban, and remote areas. Data were collected through structured interviews with six participants (principals and teachers), classroom observations, and document analysis. Analysis followed Edward III's policy implementation framework, examining communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure dimensions. All schools demonstrated positive attitudes toward UDL implementation and established communication mechanisms, though with varying effectiveness. Significant resource disparities existed across geographical contexts, with urban schools having better access to specialized personnel and infrastructure. The availability of only one Special Assistant Teacher for the entire regency highlighted severe resource constraints. Bureaucratic support varied substantially, with urban schools receiving more systematic institutional backing compared to suburban and remote areas. While positive educator attitudes provide implementation foundation, substantial gaps exist between intention and capacity. Resource inequalities and inconsistent institutional support perpetuate educational exclusion rather than promoting genuine inclusion. The findings reveal that effective UDL implementation requires coordinated systemic support addressing not only individual bias but also institutional policies that maintain exclusionary practices.

Abstract

Inclusive early childhood education faces significant challenges in effectively managing classrooms where children with diverse abilities and developmental needs learn together. Traditional teacher training approaches remain predominantly theoretical, creating substantial gaps between policy mandates and practical implementation. This study investigated how project-based teaching implementation enhances kindergarten teachers' competence in inclusive classroom management through systematic professional development intervention. A qualitative action research design was employed across three kindergarten institutions in Kongbeng District, East Kutai Regency, Indonesia, from March to June 2025. The study utilized a cyclical approach involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data collection employed structured interviews, passive participant observation using five-point Likert scale instruments, and documentary analysis. Twelve indicators assessed project-based teaching implementation, teacher competence (pedagogical, professional, social, and personality dimensions), and inclusive classroom management capabilities. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. Substantial improvements in teacher competence were observed across all institutions, with performance increases ranging from 30% to 33.34% compared to baseline measurements. Pre-intervention scores of 60-63.33% (moderate competence) improved to 90-96.67% (very high competence) by Cycle II. Teachers demonstrated enhanced abilities in project planning, facilitating collaborative learning, adapting materials for special needs children, and implementing inclusive evaluation strategies. Qualitative feedback revealed increased confidence and pedagogical effectiveness. Project-based teaching significantly enhances teacher competence in inclusive classroom management through structured professional development combining theoretical learning with practical implementation. The cyclical intervention approach proves effective in bridging theory-practice gaps, offering a practical framework for inclusive education implementation in early childhood settings.

Abstract

A security system is a crucial component in creating a safe and conducive school environment. This research aims to design and build a prototype of an automatic door security system at SMPN 1 Warungkiara. The system integrates a reed switch sensor to detect the door's status, along with RFID and fingerprint technology as access authentication media. Security notifications are sent in real-time via the Discord platform using a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller connected to a Wi-Fi network, especially for suspicious activities outside operational hours. The research method employed is qualitative with a case study approach, while the system development applies the prototyping model. The development stages include requirements communication, quick design, prototype construction, and user evaluation. The test results indicate that the system prototype functions well and effectively. The sensor accurately detects the door's status, the authentication process using RFID and fingerprint operates as designed, and notifications to Discord are sent instantly. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance digital security monitoring, minimize risks, and support the creation of a safer and more comfortable teaching and learning process within the school environment.

Abstract

Kader adalah melaksanakan kegiatan pelayanan dan mensukseskan bersama masyarakat serta merencanakan kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan tingkat desa. Kader mempunyai peran dalam terlaksananya posbindu di lingkungan, adapun peran kader adalah sebagai koordinator, penggerak, pemantau, konselor dan pencatat. Diadakan posbindu untuk menecegah terjadinya penyakit tidak menular dilingkungan masrakat, dengan datang ke posbindu diharapkan masrakat mampu mendeteksi risiko PTM . Kegiatan deteksi dini faktor risiko PTM merupakan upaya pemerintah bertujuan untuk menemukan adanya kemungkinan seseorang terkena PTM yang dilaksanakan di setiap Posbindu. Dengan adanya posbindu masrakat menjadi termotivasi memeriksaakan kesehatan mereka. Motivasi adalah dorongan yang timbul pada diri seseorang secara sadar atau tidak sadar untuk melakukan suatu tindakan dengan tujuan tertentu. Fenomenanya beberapa kali ditemukan kader Posbindu kurang komunikatif dan ada beberapa warga bila ada kegiatan tidak selalu hadir serta kurang antusias dalam memanfaatkan kegiatan deteksi dini faktor risiko PTM. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui Hubungan peran kader posbindu dengan motivasi Masyarakat dalam deteksi dini faktor risiko PTM. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif Correlational dengan pendekatan cross sectional, jumlah sampel sebanyak 221 responden, intrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner dengan uji statistik Korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian didapatkan peran kader dengan kategori baik (50,7%) dan Motivasi Masyarakat didapatkan cukup (37,1%), Baik (33,9%) dengan nilai statitistik didapatkan p-value 0.000, tingkat koefesien korelasi 0,626 artinya memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan arah hubungan positif dimana 62,60% ada hubungan antara peran kader posbindu dengan motivasi masyarakat, sedangkan 37,40% berhubungan dengan faktor lain. Semakin baik peran kader maka semakin cukup pula motivasi Masyarakat dalam mengikuti kegiatan deteksi dini faktor risiko PTM.

Abstract

Effective inclusive education for children with special needs requires systematic collaboration among multiple stakeholders. This study developed and validated a multidisciplinary collaboration model to enhance inclusive education implementation in kindergarten settings through structured coordination between teachers, therapists, and parents. This Research and Development study employed the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) conducted at TK Masyitoh, East Kutai Regency, in February 2025. Three kindergarten teachers participated as end-users. Data collection utilized observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Validation involved material experts, media experts, and instrument validators. Model effectiveness was assessed using normalized gain (N-Gain) analysis comparing pre-implementation and post-implementation teacher performance scores. Expert validation demonstrated high feasibility with material expert scores of 94.4% and media expert scores of 86.6%, both categorized as "highly feasible." Effectiveness assessment revealed significant improvements in teacher competencies, achieving an average N-Gain of 0.89, indicating high-level effectiveness. All participating teachers demonstrated substantial performance improvements following model implementation. The validated model addresses critical gaps in inclusive education implementation by providing systematic guidance for multidisciplinary coordination. Results align with established collaboration theories and support international research emphasizing stakeholder integration in inclusive education. The model's effectiveness demonstrates potential for enhancing teacher preparedness and inclusive education quality in early childhood settings.

Abstract

This study examined teacher collaboration patterns in inclusive kindergarten education to understand how classroom teachers and special education support teachers coordinate their efforts in supporting children with special needs. Using qualitative case study methodology, data were collected through structured observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis at two kindergarten institutions in East Kutai Regency, Indonesia. Participants included principals, classroom teachers, special education support teachers, and children with special needs from both institutions. The study revealed two distinct collaboration models: spontaneous collaboration characterized by immediate problem-solving and flexible role adaptation, and structured collaboration emphasizing systematic planning and preparation. Both approaches demonstrated effectiveness through complementary expertise integration, shared accountability, and trust-based relationships. Key challenges included communication inconsistencies, limited specialized resources, and informal documentation processes. However, collaborative practices resulted in enhanced student inclusion, professional growth through mutual learning, and improved educational outcomes for children with special needs. The findings contribute to theoretical understanding of collaborative teaching by demonstrating that effective partnerships can emerge through multiple pathways while maintaining shared commitment to inclusive education principles. The research provides evidence-based recommendations for teacher preparation programs, professional development initiatives, and institutional support structures in early childhood inclusive education settings.
