Abstract

Abdullah An Naim is one of the prominent figures in the field of Islamic education. His various works are widely studied in different countries, including his monumental work on secular Islam and human rights. One of the objectives of this research is to analyze Abdullah An Naim's thoughts on human rights and secular Islam within the context of Islamic education. This type of research is a literature study with a historical-philosophical approach. Data collection refers to documentation and literature from books, journals, and lectures. The results of this research indicate that An Naim emphasizes a historical and sociological approach to secular Islam, reinterpreting the comprehensive meaning of Islam without separating Islamic teachings from modern ideas about human rights.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the application of realism philosophy in the context of education and its impact on teaching methods. Education based on realism emphasizes teaching rooted in reality and the objective world, where knowledge and skills are acquired through direct experience and observation of the surrounding environment. This study employs a literature review method, examining various references and literature related to realism philosophy and its implementation in education. Realism significantly contributes to the development of a factual knowledge-based curriculum; however, its application faces challenges, such as reliance on overly objective approaches and a lack of flexibility in accommodating individual student needs. While realism provides an effective approach to shaping students' character and knowledge, its implementation must adapt to the dynamics of modern education, which increasingly emphasizes creativity and practical skills development. Therefore, it is crucial to strike a balance between reality-based teaching and innovation in educational methods.

Abstract

This paper examines Imam Al-Ghazali's educational thought and its relevance in the modern world of education. As a great scholar in the Islamic tradition, Al-Ghazali emphasized that education is not only for the transfer of knowledge, but also for the formation of individual character and spirituality. Through a library research approach, this study explores Al-Ghazali's ideas on moral and moral education, and assesses whether his views are still relevant to address contemporary educational challenges. Al-Ghazali proposed active, reflective and spiritual values-oriented learning methods, which can be adapted to strengthen moral and ethical education in the modern era. This research aims to bridge traditional thought and today's educational needs, while identifying the positive contributions that Al-Ghazali's thought can make to the modern education system.

Abstract

Divorce in Indonesia continues to show an increasing trend each year, leaving unresolved psychological, social, and spiritual impacts even after legal proceedings are finalized. Post-divorce conflicts, such as child custody disputes, property division, and fractured extended family relations, often persist and escalate. This study aims to formulate an Islamic Forgiveness Therapy mechanism as an alternative approach for addressing post-divorce conflicts holistically. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, critically analyzing Western psychological theories, Islamic teachings on forgiveness, and empirical divorce data in Indonesia. The findings indicate that Islamic Forgiveness Therapy can be practically applied through three key components: personal forgiveness, which fosters individual spiritual connection with God; social forgiveness, which restores harmony among extended families; and spiritual reframing, which encourages individuals to perceive conflict as a life test that brings wisdom and spiritual growth. This study confirms that integrating Islamic forgiveness values with modern psychotherapy principles offers a more comprehensive and contextual conflict resolution model. The results imply significant potential for application in educational counseling programs, family court mediation services, and the development of online counseling platforms for Muslim families. Thus, Islamic Forgiveness Therapy is expected to shift the paradigm of post-divorce conflict resolution from mere legal settlement to a sustainable healing process for the heart and soul.

Abstract

CV Dua Putri merupakan perusahaan jasa ekspedisi yang berlokasi di Palembang dengan jalur distribusi menuju Jambi. Proses bisnis perusahaan masih dilakukan secara manual, mulai dari pencatatan pesanan hingga pelaporan pengiriman menggunakan dokumen Word dan arsip kertas. Kondisi ini menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti keterlambatan rekap bulanan, risiko kehilangan surat jalan, serta tidak efisien dalam pengelolaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi laporan pengiriman barang berbasis web yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, serta keamanan data perusahaan. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah iterasi, dengan tahapan perencanaan, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, serta evaluasi. Analisis PIECES digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan, sedangkan perancangan dilakukan melalui Diagram Konteks, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), dan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan PHP dengan framework Laravel dan MySQL sebagai basis data, serta diuji melalui black-box testing dan evaluasi usability dengan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, dengan skor SUS rata-rata 80 yang termasuk kategori Excellent. Dengan demikian, aplikasi yang dihasilkan dinilai efektif dalam mendukung pengelolaan laporan pengiriman barang secara digital, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, akurasi data, dan efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi logistik pada perusahaan ekspedisi skala kecil dan menengah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi komunikasi politik yang diterapkan oleh Mujid Riduan dalam menghadapi pemilihan umum legislatif 2024 di Dapil 3 Kabupaten Gresik. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana komunikasi politik tersebut mempengaruhi kecenderungan perilaku pemilih dan faktor-faktor yang menentukan keberhasilannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam kepada informan kunci, termasuk tim kampanye dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mujid Riduan menerapkan strategi komunikasi politik yang meliputi branding, segmentasi pemilih, penentuan target, positioning, serta pemanfaatan media sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat partisipatoris dan menyentuh aspek budaya lokal yang kuat, seperti pelibatan dalam kegiatan sosial dan budaya masyarakat. Selain itu, kehadiran simbol-simbol politik, penyampaian visi-misi melalui media digital, dan pendekatan interpersonal menjadi kunci dalam membangun citra diri yang positif. Strategi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih serta membentuk persepsi publik yang mendukung.

Abstract

This research aims to review the nature of Islamic education by emphasising the integration of three fundamental aspects, namely science, faith, and charity. The focus of the research is directed at efforts to formulate a more holistic paradigm of Islamic education to be able to answer the challenges of moral degradation, spiritual crisis, and fragmentation of educational orientation, which often only focus on cognitive aspects. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach. Data were obtained through a review of classical and contemporary literature, including the works of Al-Ghazali, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, and some modern thinkers, then analysed using content analysis techniques to find patterns, meanings, and conceptual synthesis. The results show that true Islamic education must combine science as a means of knowing God, faith as a spiritual and moral foundation, and charity as a real actualisation of both. Knowledge without faith has the potential to give birth to arrogance, while faith without charity makes no real contribution. The contribution of this research lies in the affirmation of an integrative Islamic education paradigm, which places humans as spiritual, intellectual and social beings at once. The findings can serve as a conceptual basis for the development of a value- and character-based Islamic education curriculum, as well as enriching the academic discourse on holistic education in an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep belajar dalam perspektif Islam dengan menelaah QS. Al-‘Alaq ayat 1–5 sebagai dasar penting pendidikan Islam. Islam menekankan kewajiban menuntut ilmu sepanjang hayat, sebagaimana ditegaskan dalam sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW dan pandangan ulama, termasuk Imam Syafi’i. Ayat pertama yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW menekankan urgensi membaca, menulis, dan belajar sebagai instrumen utama membangun peradaban. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan merujuk pada literatur tafsir, khususnya Tafsir Al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab, serta karya akademik lain terkait tafsir Al-Qur’an dan teori pendidikan profetik, dengan analisis isi untuk menelaah pesan-pesan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa QS. Al-‘Alaq ayat 1–5 mengandung nilai-nilai fundamental pendidikan Islam, yakni aqidah (keyakinan kepada Allah sebagai Rabb dan sumber ilmu), syariah (dorongan membaca, meneliti, dan mengembangkan pengetahuan sebagai ibadah), serta akhlak (ikhlas, qana’ah, kesungguhan, dan optimisme dalam menuntut ilmu). Ayat ini menegaskan keterkaitan proses belajar dan mengajar sebagai perintah Allah sekaligus dasar etika profesi guru dalam Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai aqidah, syariah, dan akhlak dari QS. Al-‘Alaq ayat 1–5 penting dalam membangun paradigma pendidikan Islam yang holistik, sehingga pembelajaran tidak sekadar transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter dan spiritualitas menuju insan kamil.

Abstract

This research discusses NU elders, politics, and the civil society development agenda in Pasuruan. Giddens' theory (1984) on structuration is used as a starting point to develop the main themes relevant to the data. The purpose of this research is to understand the dialectical complexity between structure and agency, which positions the elders (agents) as creative individuals with transformative capacity to produce and reproduce structures that, on one hand, have a limiting-disabling tendency and, on the other, enable action. All of this is carried out by the elders in their position as religious elites to develop civil society. This theme is interesting because many NU elders are directly or indirectly involved in the political landscape of Indonesia. However, from the organizational side, NU, as an organization for the elders, has declared khittah as its struggle paradigm. Penelitian ini membahas tentang kyai NU, politik, dan agenda pengembangan masyarakat sipil di Pasuruan. Teori Giddens (1984) tentang strukturasi digunakan sebagai titik tolak untuk mengembangkan tema-tema utama yang relevan dengan data. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memahami kompleksitas dialektika antara struktur dan keagenan yang menempatkan kyai (agen) sebagai individu kreatif dengan kapasitas transformatif untuk memproduksi dan mereproduksi struktur yang di satu sisi memiliki kecenderungan membatasi (limiting-disabling) dan di sisi lain memungkinkan tindakan (enabling). Semua itu dilakukan oleh kyai dalam posisinya sebagai elit agama untuk mengembangkan masyarakat sipil. Tema ini menjadi menarik karena banyak kyai NU yang terlibat langsung maupun tidak langsung dalam peta politik di Indonesia. Namun, di sisi organisasi, NU sebagai wadah kyai telah menetapkan khittah sebagai paradigma perjuangan.

Abstract

This study explores the concept of grit within the context of Islamic teachings, particularly the Qur’an, and examines its relevance to contemporary Islamic education. Grit, defined as perseverance and passion for long-term goals, is essential for overcoming obstacles in both academic and personal life. The purpose of this study is to investigate how Qur’anic principles such as sabr (patience), tawakkul (trust in Allah), istiqamah (steadfastness), and optimism can foster grit in students. Using a library research methodology, the study analyses key Qur’anic verses related to perseverance and connects them with the core elements of grit. The findings reveal that the Qur’an offers significant guidance on cultivating mental resilience, encouraging students to remain steadfast and hopeful in the face of challenges. Furthermore, the study highlights the practical application of these Qur’anic values in educational settings, suggesting that incorporating them into the curriculum can enhance character development and promote a growth mindset among students. In conclusion, this research demonstrates that by integrating the concept of grit from the Qur’an, Islamic education can better equip students to face both academic and life challenges with perseverance and determination, ultimately contributing to their success and well-being.
