Abstract

Magnetorheological dampers with variations in the number of turns are simulated using the Finite Element Method Magnetics (FEMM) software to determine changes in the number of turns to the damping rate of the MR valve. The variations used are 90 turns, 180 turns, 270 turns, 365 turns, and 450 turns with a coil diameter of 0.4 mm, slit size of 0.1 mm, and an up and down serpentine MR valve design. The results of the simulation are the value of magnetic flux density (B) with Tesla units to predict the yield stress value of the MR fluid which is then used to calculate the value of the pressure difference and the value of the damping force. The Tesla value at each slit flow increases according to the input current value. the number of turns to the Tesla value is increasing. The results of calculating the value of the total pressure difference in the off-state conditions for the five variations are the same, namely 0.028330577 MPa. Meanwhile, the total pressure difference in the on-state condition, starting from a variation of 90 turns to a variation of 450 turns, always increases. The highest value of damping force is at current 2 A with a total of 90 turns worth 11007.66494 kN, 180 turns worth 14034.73989 kN, 270 turns worth 26535.68741 kN, and 365 turns worth 22227.83163 kN, except for variations in the number of turns 450 the winding is present at a current of 0.5 A with a value of 37492.11504 kN.

Abstract

Abstract

The Future Package (PMD) is an integrated program of the Sharia National Pension Savings Bank provided to a group of women in rural areas who wish to start businesses and have dreams of transforming their lives but do not have access to banking services. Currently, there is a trend among financial institutions, both banks and cooperatives, in mitigating financing risks through the Joint Liability System. From this background, questions arise: (1) How is the joint liability system practiced in the Future Package (PMD) product at BTPN Sharia Pekalongan? (2) What is the Islamic legal perspective on the joint liability system with kafalah contract in the Future Package (PMD) product at BTPN Sharia Pekalongan? This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach aimed at systematically describing the research focus, which includes the joint liability system, where the researcher describes the joint liability system and evaluates it from an Islamic legal perspective. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The researcher analyzes the data using theories and legal foundations related to joint liability with a kafalah contract, resulting in findings on the mechanism and Islamic legal review of the joint liability system with a kafalah contract in the Future Package (PMD) product at BTPN Sharia Pekalongan. The research findings indicate that the implementation of joint liability in the Future Package (PMD) product at BTPN Sharia Pekalongan is temporary but can become permanent if group members under joint liability run away. The joint liability contract in financing the Future Package (PMD) does not fully comply with Islamic principles, particularly concerning the insurance object, as it is often used for consumable goods instead of business purposes.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has high potential in the agricultural sector. However, the use of fertilizers that are not environmentally friendly, the continuous application of chemicals, and inappropriate land management and cultivation systems will increase land degradation and cause losses for future generations. The "Jakatik" product is an innovative solution for the bio-fertilizer business for eternal lucky mushrooms with probiotics from leri water waste, fruit, and vegetables, an effort to utilize and improve the economy of biological waste materials. The aim of this research is to determine mapping using the Triple Layer Business Model Canvas (TLBMC) approach and to determine sustainable decision-making using the Plus Minus Implication Analysis (PMIA) method approach. The research method uses descriptive and analytical methods. The research results show 1) The results of the business model mapping based on TLBMC in the economic layer describe all the elements and are strengthened, the environmental layer cannot describe the End of life element, because the packaging is not environmentally friendly. Meanwhile, the social layer cannot describe the elements of social culture and social impact because there is no special responsibility given to society and there is no negative social impact. 2) Decision making based on PMIA (Plus Minus Implication Analysis) analysis, the economic layer produces the highest score of 114, so it is necessary to strengthen the business model in customer segment elements by increasing promotions. The environmental layer produces a low score of 91, so it is necessary to develop a business model in the form of adjustments to production quantities according to marketing targets and urge users to apply immediately. Meanwhile, the social layer produces 112 values, so it is necessary to strengthen the business model, especially at the end-user element, by including rules of use.

Abstract

Technology in buying and selling can be utilized to increase company profits. PT. Palembang Berkah Bersama was established in April 2017 with the business brand Lamonde Palembang, a business venture making cakes and bakeries. The product ordering process takes a long time because consumers must come to the Lamonde Palembang store or type via WA or telephone. Hence, the shop assistant has a little difficulty in recapitulating data if there is an order simultaneously. Based on interviews conducted by researchers with Mr. Erik, Marketing Manager of Lamonde Palembang, the daily sales turnover is around 60-80 pieces of cake and bread. Therefore, what is needed by Lamonde Palembang is an ordering system where the system is used to handle the ordering process online. With this system, it will be easier for consumers to order products because they can directly choose the products provided, where there are also prices for each product. The total cost of the order also appears to be well and can be determined quickly. Shop assistants can also more easily see and list orders and product sales

Abstract

Emissions and fuel consumption are essential parameters to indicate the working of a combustion engine. This paper discusses the methods to achieve lower emissions and efficient fuel consumption. One of the methods is by making emulsion fuel. The emulsion-making methods are surfactant emulsion, micro-emulsion, ultrasonic emulsion, and real-time emulsion non-surfactant (RTES). In the research, the emulsion fuel is a mixture of B30 Biodiesel and water without surfactant that is supplied in real-time after being mixed in a mixer. The ratio is 85% biodiesel and 15% water. The RTES mixer in the old model has a big size, and high-power consumption of about 150-433,5 W. This research's purpose is to develop a simple design and low power consumption of the RTES Mixer. The new RTES mixer design only needs 150 W motor power. Its dimension is more superficial and produces tiny droplets with a main diameter range between 0.1 to 0.5 ?m, with good-mixed visually.

Abstract

Due to the highly brittle structure of polyurethane (PU) foam, a specialized clamping mechanism is required to consider the material's strength and hardness to avoid damaging the workpiece and to withstand the cutting forces during milling and machining. Using a polymer as an alternative for creating clamping tools with characteristics similar to PU foam offers a promising solution. The slightly harder polymer material is expected to address the need for a gripping tool that will not harm the PU foam upon application. The VDI 2221 method, a structured approach to the design and coordination of evolving design techniques, is employed in this study. The advantage of this methodology lies in its ability to adapt continuously through research. A comparative analysis of two design models produced via 3D printing reveals that Design 5 exhibits superior strength under increased stress. Moreover, Design 5 is more effective in gripping the workpiece, as a single gripper can withstand cutting forces from two directions simultaneously, reducing material deformation. This advancement is expected to minimize the risk of material damage during the machining process. This research's novelty lies in applying an optimized polymer clamping device for PU foam, ensuring improved performance and reduced damage during machining.
