Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Financial Technology (FinTech) and Financial Literacy on Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) Performance in Sampang Regency, Madura, with Financial Inclusion as a mediating variable. The research was conducted to address the limited understanding of how FinTech adoption and financial literacy interact to enhance MSME competitiveness in developing regions. Using a quantitative approach and survey method, data were collected from 99 respondents selected through purposive sampling among MSEs actively using digital financial services. Data analysis employed path analysis to examine direct and indirect relationships among Financial Technology (X1), Financial Literacy (X2), Financial Inclusion (Z), and MSME Performance (Y). The results revealed that FinTech does not have a significant positive effect on Financial Inclusion, while Financial Literacy significantly improves it. FinTech positively and significantly affects MSME Performance, whereas Financial Literacy does not. Furthermore, Financial Inclusion significantly influences MSME Performance but only mediates the relationship between Financial Literacy and Performance not between FinTech and Performance. These findings underscore the importance of improving financial literacy and optimizing FinTech utilization to strengthen MSME competitiveness and foster inclusive regional economic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Bidang SMA DKI Jakarta, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Fenomena yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah penurunan tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai pada tahun 2023–2024 yang diduga berkaitan dengan aspek kedisiplinan dan motivasi dalam bekerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 68 pegawai dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian diuji menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, sementara analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²) dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, demikian pula motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Secara simultan, kedisiplinan kerja dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Variabel yang paling dominan memberikan kontribusi terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah motivasi kerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kedisiplinan dan motivasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawai di lingkungan instansi pemerintah serta menjadi dasar bagi pimpinan dalam merumuskan kebijakan manajemen sumber daya manusia yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji pengaruh budaya organisasi dan kondisi lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kepuasan kerja dipahami sebagai unsur krusial dalam peningkatan mutu sumber daya manusia serta kinerja organisasi. Namun demikian, masih ditemukan perbedaan tingkat kepuasan kerja karyawan yang dipicu oleh budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja yang belum berjalan secara optimal. Di sisi lain, berbagai penelitian terdahulu memperlihatkan temuan yang belum konsisten mengenai pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut terhadap kepuasan kerja. Situasi ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan penelitian, sehingga studi ini penting dilakukan guna memperoleh bukti empiris terkait pengaruh budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif yang bersifat kausal. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui metode penentuan sampel berdasarkan jumlah populasi yang diteliti, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 46 responden sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert, kemudian dianalisis melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi yang kuat, ditopang oleh nilai-nilai kerja yang jelas dan dipahami secara bersama, serta lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan mendukung, dapat meningkatkan tingkat kepuasan kerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen dalam merumuskan kebijakan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam upaya meningkatkan kepuasan kerja melalui penguatan budaya organisasi dan perbaikan lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the Effect of Training, Motivation, and Incentives on Employee Performance at PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, South Tangerang City. The independent variables used are training, motivation and incentives, while the dependent variable is employee performance. The data collection method in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 63 respondents to employees of PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, South Tangerang City. The research method used is an associative quantitative method using primary data. These results indicate that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value greater than t table 2.119 > 1.670 and a significant value of 0.038 < 0.05, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-count value greater than t-table 2.408 > 1.670 and a significant value of 0.019 <0.05, incentives have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-count value greater than t table 2.385 > 1.670 and significant value 0.020 <0.05. Taken together training, motivation and incentives have a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value greater than F table 24.295 > 2.76 and a significant value of 0.00 <0.05.

Abstract

Porphyridium cruentum has advantages in pigments and exopolysaccharides, so it has the potential to be developed in the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic industries. Porphyridium cruentum cultivation media uses synthetic and indoors, causing high costs. This study aims to determine the growth performance of Porphyridium cruentum in different mediums and method of cultivation. The research methods used cultivating Porphyridium cruentum for 7 days with four treatments, namely indoors Guillard media (IGM), outdoors Guillard media (OGM), indoors fertilizer media (IFM), and outdoors fertilizer media (OFM. Each treatment had three replications. Growth was identified using an optical density spectrophotometer uv-vis, gravimetrically dried weight of biomass and pH adjustment during 7 days of cultivation. The result shows the best growth performance in IFM, followed by IGM, OFM, and OGM. Fertilizer media is better for the growth of Porphyridium cruentum than Guillard media. pH growth Porphyridium cruentum during cultivation 7-7.5. Indoor cultivation is better than outdoor cultivation. The highest biomass was IFM, which had the best performance in IFM with OD 0.247, pH 7, and biomass 79.6%.

Abstract

The fishery product processing industry has an important role in increasing the added value and welfare of coastal communities. Kuala Jambi District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency has abundant shrimp raw material potential, opening up opportunities for the development of processed products such as shrimp chips. There is a lack of studies that assess the financial feasibility aspect of the shrimp chips business in Kuala Jambi District, so financial feasibility research needs to be carried out to obtain the financial condition of the shrimp chips processing business, especially in the Poklahsar Tanjung Jaya Bersama. The purpose of the study is to analyze the financial feasibility of processed shrimp chips in the Poklahsar Tanjug Jaya Bersama Kuala Jambi Tanjung Jabung Timur. The research method used is a case study with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed using financial investment criteria, namely NVP (Net Present Value), BCR (Benefit Cost Ratio) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return). The results of the analysis showed that the shrimp chips processing business in Poklahsar Tanjung Jaya Bersama had a positive NPV value, BCR greater than 1, and IRR higher than the discount rate, which means that financially the business was declared viable to run and had the potential to increase group income and encourage the development of sustainable fisheries agribusiness in the coastal area of Kuala Jambi.

Abstract

The growing dominance of Generation Z within today’s labor market has encouraged organizations to re-evaluate their recruitment approaches, with greater attention directed toward Employer Branding and the articulation of organizational values. This research examines how Employer Branding and organizational culture contribute to shaping Generation Z’s interest in applying for employment opportunities in the Cileungsi region. A quantitative associative method was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 90 Generation Z respondents. The results demonstrate that Employer Branding exerts a positive and statistically significant effect on job application interest (t = 4.799; sig = 0.001 < 0.05), whereas organizational culture does not show a significant partial influence (t = 1.263; sig = 0.210 > 0.05). Nevertheless, when assessed simultaneously, Employer Branding and organizational culture jointly have a significant impact on job application interest (F = 35.179; sig = 0.001 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.447) indicates that both variables account for 44.7% of the variance in Generation Z’s job application interest. Overall, these findings suggest that Employer Branding serves as the primary driver in attracting Generation Z job applicants, while organizational culture appears to be less influential during the initial stage of recruitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work culture and employee retention on the performance of Generation Z employees at Abuya Group. The demographic shift in the workforce dominated by Generation Z requires organizations to adjust their human resource management strategies. This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach involving 45 Generation Z employee respondents through saturated sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire, then analyzed using SPSS version 27.0 with multiple linear regression technique. The results indicate that work culture has a positive and significant effect on Generation Z employee performance with t value 15.220 > t table 2.017 and significance 0.001 < 0.05. Conversely, employee retention partially has no significant effect on performance with t value -0.401 < t table 2.017 and significance 0.690 > 0.05. However, simultaneously both variables have a significant effect with F value 151.858 > F table 3.21 and determination coefficient of 87.3%. These findings indicate that strong work culture becomes the dominant factor in improving performance, while retention strategies need to be adjusted to the unique characteristics of Generation Z who prioritize work meaningfulness and flexibility. This research provides practical contributions for management in designing adaptive HR policies toward the needs of younger generation.

Abstract

Background: Low student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education, particularly in Understanding Puberty, are influenced by the continued use of conventional, teacher-centered instructional methods that limit student engagement. Objective: This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes by implementing the Cooperative Learning model, specifically the STAD (Student Teams–Achievement Divisions) type, in Islamic Religious Education. Method: This research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The research subjects were 20 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 12 Palembang. Data were collected through observations and achievement tests and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. Findings: The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes following the implementation of the STAD model. Mastery learning increased from 30% in the pre-cycle to 50% in Cycle I, 80% in Cycle II, and 99% in Cycle III. In addition, students’ engagement and collaboration steadily improved throughout the learning cycles. Conclusion: The STAD Cooperative Learning model effectively enhances students’ learning outcomes and engagement in Islamic Religious Education. This model promotes an active, collaborative, and meaningful learning environment. Contribution: This study offers practical guidance for teachers in developing innovative instructional strategies for Islamic Religious Education and strengthens empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of the STAD model in improving elementary school students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

                This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and work experience on employee performance at PT Top Ambulance. This research is motivated by the crucial role of human resources in health service companies that require speed, accuracy, and service quality. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The population consisted of all 45 employees of PT Top Ambulance, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work experience also has a positive and significant effect, and both variables simultaneously influence employee performance. The findings provide practical implications for management in improving employee performance through motivation enhancement and experience management.
