Abstract

This research is specifically to find out how the principal's management is improving cooperation with the industrial world at SMK Muhammadiyah Rantau Prapat. This includes implementation planning, evaluation, and obstacles in improving cooperation with the industrial world. By knowing these things, some suggestions can be given that can be taken into consideration for school principals in increasing cooperation between the industrial world and schools. This research point uses a qualitative or naturalistic approach to describe the findings of the research. Data collection was done through participant observation techniques, interviews, and documentation while data analysis involved three stages, namely data reduction display data presentation, and verification of conclusions. The results of the study state that the principal's management at SMK Muhammadiyah Rantau Prapat has evaluation implementation planning and obstacles in establishing cooperation with the industrial world. Therefore, it can be understood that the main task of a school principal in carrying out his management is not only limited to the ability to implement programs, but more than that, the principal must be able to involve all levels of the organization, its members, and the community to take an active role so that they can make a positive contribution in achieving the objectives of the collaboration to be carried out. Planning for cooperation with the industrial world is illustrated by the involvement of the industrial world in carrying out school programs and the implementation of cooperation with the industrial world is carried out through an agreement with the industrial world to establish good cooperation. The evaluation carried out by the principal with the industrial world has the hope of improvement for the future in good cooperation and the obstacles found in establishing cooperation with the industrial world are limited resources and facilities in schools and other challenges faced by school principals are rapid changes in industry demands.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies implemented by school principals in developing teacher professionalism. Teacher professionalism is needed to obtain good quality output. This research is motivated by the importance of education in supporting the nation's future development and developing the potential of students in facing global competition. The type used in this research is a qualitative case study. The data source was obtained from the MIN 5 Labuhan Batu teacher by collecting data through observation, interviews and documents. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis which follows the Miles and Huberman concept. The results obtained from the principal's leadership strategy in developing teacher professionalism at MIN 5 Labuhan Batu are (1) preparing school planning and development by formulating short-term vision, mission and goals (1 year) and medium-term goals (4 years), (2 ) implementing the school strategy by improving the work discipline of all school members, including students, teaching staff and education staff, both in terms of learning, administration and action, and (3) establishing good cooperation with supervisors, committees, student parents and other institutions. Internal regional government institutions supervision as well as academics asking questions and providing follow-up on school programs.

Abstract

This research will focus on three main areas: 1) what are the methods of madrasah heads in managing conflict, 2) what is the productivity of madrasahs at MTs al-washliyah, cliff high city, 3) what are the conflict resolution strategies at MTs al-washliyah, cliff high city. This research aims to find out: The first is to find out how school principals manage conflict, the second is to find out how madrasa productivity is at MTs al-Washliyah, Tebing Tinggi City, and the third is to find out what conflict resolution strategies are, This study used qualitative research methods.

Abstract

keagamaan Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Qur'an (LPTQ). Fokus kajian penelitian ini yaitu pada 4 hal, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif berbasis studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman, yakni reduksi data, penampilan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa manajemen ekstrakurikuler Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Qur'an di Indonesia meliputi beberapa Tahapan. Pertama, perencanaan,, yaitu merencanakan tujuan kegiatan, sasaran kegiatan, dan pedoman kegiatan. Kedua pengorganisasian, yaitu meliputi tahapan penyusunan struktur organisasi/ekstrakurikuler mulai dari pembina, stering comite, ketua bidang dan anggota-anggotanya. Ketiga pelaksanaan, yaitu tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang merujuk kepada tahapan perencanaan awal. Tahapan pelaksanaan dimulai dengan memperkenalkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepada siswa melalui Masa Ta'aruf Siswa Madrasah (MATSAMA), dan dilanjuti dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang sudah direncanakan. Keempat tahapan evaluasi, yaitu dengan memberikan penilaian terhadap hasil kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan dengan mengadakan rapat akhir tahun dan mengevaluasi segala hal yang menjadi kendala saat proses kegiatan ekstrakurikuler.

Abstract

Saat ini, kenakalan remaja merupakan sebuah fenomena sosial yang lumrah. Biasanya, tuduhan kenakalan remaja melibatkan pencurian, pergaulan bebas, pembunuhan dan narkoba. Maka dari itu, pendidikan karakter harus diperkuat sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi krisis karakter tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PAI di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan dengan fokus pada 5 karakter yaitu religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri, dan tanggung jawab. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Diperoleh hasil yang menunjukan bahwa karakter religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri dan tanggung jawab siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan secara umum menunjukan perkembangan yang positif, namun masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang berkarakter kurang baik. Bentuk penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler PAI yaitu ekstrakurikuler Tahfidzul Qur’an dan Tilawatil Qur’an.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in building students' moral resilience at SMK Swasta Tunas Pelita Kota Binjai in the era of globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and interactive analysis, this research involved in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The research findings show that curriculum integration planning and teacher training contribute positively to students' moral resilience. Effective PAI implementation is done through methods such as discovery learning, group discussions, and extracurricular activities, with teachers acting as facilitators and motivators. Contextual strategies, review of religious texts, and integration with other sciences also strengthen the implementation of religious values in students' lives. Support from the principal and PAI teachers through evolutionary and revolutionary approaches also play an important role in achieving learning objectives. This study highlights the importance of active learning strategies, curriculum integration, and school environment support to shape students' moral resilience, providing practical implications for PAI curriculum development in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Tantangan global perguruan tinggi pada era industry 5.0 adalah msalah kualitas pendidikan. Menghadapi masalah tersebut, pemerintah menetapkan berbagai regulasi berupa kebijakan yang didasari oleh Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional untuk membangun kulitas pendidikan nasional. Harapan dari kebijakan peningkatan mutu melalu pengendalian mutu pendidikan adalah untuk menghasilakan masayarakt yang memiliki daya saing pada tingkat lokal maupun global. Pengawasan semua aspek proses pendidikan yang dilakukan pimpinan perguruan tinggi merupakan sebuah pengendalian mutu pendidikan dalam menghasilkan kualitas. Pengendalian yang, jika difokuskan pada aspek input-proses-output pendidikan, dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam peningkatan mutu. Artikel ini adalah sebuah hasil mini riset yang dilakukan pada lembaga pendidikan swasta dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah, proses pengendalian mutu pendidikan. Lalu kemuadian pengendalian tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kulitas pendidikan perguruan tinggi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah kulitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengendalaian adalah suatu proses yang terdiri dari merencanakan (menyusun tujuan dan standar kinerja), mengukur kinerja sebenarnya, membandingkan kinerja, dan melakukan perbaikan sebagai upaya peningkata. Fokus pengendalian mutu pendidikan yang dilakukan adalah evaluasi yang berkelanjutan untuk sampai pada lampauan terhadap Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi (SN-Dikti) dalam meningkatkan mutu. Sedangkan model yang diganakan dalam semua kegiatan yang telah ditetapkan adalah siklus perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, pengendalian, dan peningkatan (PPEPP) dengan pendekatan total quality improvement.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the pattern of self-understanding and personality of school principals in improving teacher discipline at MTsN 2 Padang Lawas. This research uses qualitative research methodology combined with descriptive techniques. Research data collection techniques include documentation, interviews, and observation. Based on the findings and results of the discussion, it was concluded that the pattern of self-understanding and personality of the principal in improving teacher discipline at MTsN 2 Padang Lawas is still not being implemented optimally as expected, for this reason, it needs to be evaluated so that it is better, because there are still weaknesses in terms of example, ability to embrace school community, lack of enforcement of discipline, and the leadership style used still needs to be improved according to competence as a leader. The obstacle for school principals in improving teacher discipline is the need for more communication and cooperation with fellow teachers. Causing increased discipline in schools to be very ineffective in its implementation. In conclusion, the personality pattern and self-understanding of the principal in improving teacher discipline at MTsN 2 Padang Lawas is still not implemented as it should be Keywords: Patterns of Self-Understanding, Principal, Teacher Discipline

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse how the modernisation of Al-Qur'an memorisation methods affects both the comparison of traditional and modern methods on students' learning motivation, memorisation effectiveness, and long-term memory resilience at MTs Swasta Jabal Lubuk Raya. This research method is descriptive qualitative, or often known as postpositivistic, artistic, and interpretative research. Data collection instruments were observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. Data analysis using the flow of activities as proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data display and conclusions, drawing, and verification. The technique of sharpening the validity of data in this study is to use triangulation techniques. The results of this study are the modernisation of memorising the Qur'an with modern methods is significant to student learning motivation, especially in Gamification of learning to increase engagement and ease of access to increase the spirit of learning and improve the speed of memorisation to be higher and the existence of variations in memorisation methods according to student learning styles. While memorising the Qur'an with traditional methods has a significant effect on the effectiveness of student memorisation, especially in the quality of tajweed that is more guaranteed, and the memorisation process is more methodical, as well as a deeper understanding of the context of the verse. So it can be concluded that traditional Qur'anic memorisation methods and modern methods each have advantages and limitations. Therefore, the integration of both methods, i.e., combining the strengths of traditional methods and the convenience of modern technology, can produce more optimal results. This combination allows students to get direct correction from the teacher while utilising the convenience of self-learning with technology, thus increasing memorisation effectiveness and long-term memory retention. It also provides time flexibility for students without compromising the quality of teaching and learning.

Abstract

This research is useful to understand how the extracurricular Quran reading and writing program is implemented at MTS N 2 Medan with the aim to improve students' Quran literacy. The researchers used qualitative methodology as their approach. The focus of the qualitative approach is on in-depth observation. Thus, it is possible to build a more comparative analysis through research using qualitative research methods. The implementation of extracurricular activities of reading and writing the Qur'an includes planning, methods and steps of learning activities, and how learning should be measured, according to the results that can be achieved by researchers. The right approach should be used as a motivator to achieve the desired results in an effort to improve the ability to read and write the Qur'an. Pupils should strive to be more imaginative, creative and engaged. The right approach is needed in such endeavors to ensure that students understand and learn well.
