Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies implemented by school principals in developing teacher professionalism. Teacher professionalism is needed to obtain good quality output. This research is motivated by the importance of education in supporting the nation's future development and developing the potential of students in facing global competition. The type used in this research is a qualitative case study. The data source was obtained from the MIN 5 Labuhan Batu teacher by collecting data through observation, interviews and documents. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis which follows the Miles and Huberman concept. The results obtained from the principal's leadership strategy in developing teacher professionalism at MIN 5 Labuhan Batu are (1) preparing school planning and development by formulating short-term vision, mission and goals (1 year) and medium-term goals (4 years), (2 ) implementing the school strategy by improving the work discipline of all school members, including students, teaching staff and education staff, both in terms of learning, administration and action, and (3) establishing good cooperation with supervisors, committees, student parents and other institutions. Internal regional government institutions supervision as well as academics asking questions and providing follow-up on school programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the management of private Islamic tertiary institutions which are required to become quality tertiary institutions in terms of the accreditation obtained by the tertiary institutions themselves. The research method uses phenomenological qualitative. Primary data source; university leaders namely STIT Al-Hikmah Tebing Tinggi, IAIDU Kisaran, STAI Al Ihlas Sidikalang, FAI UISU, STAI Lubuk Pakam, and STAI Lubuk Pakam. Secondary data sources; research journals, books, and websites. Qualitative research data collection techniques, namely documentation, observation, and interviews. Descriptive-qualitative analysis techniques and reflective analysis. The research results of KERJASAMA IX North Sumatra have the task of supervising, controlling, fostering, and empowering private Islamic tertiary institutions. Provide consideration and follow-up sanctions against PTAIS that provide non/low quality education. Strategic steps that can be considered in the development of PTAI in the face of globalization are changing the Mindset from the Paradigm of Spectators to Actors, giving birth to graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit, Diplomacy of International Standard Academic Tracks, Sending Lecturers Abroad to Ministry of Religion Launching of 5000 Doctoral scholarship programs, Increasing Foreign Language Competence and global-based standardization of Academic Facilities.

Abstract

Guru bagian penting dari pendidikan. Guru memiliki peran yang signifikan dan strategis dalam pendidikan. Hal ini disebabkan fakta bahwa guru bertanggung jawab atas pelaksanaan pendidikan, khususnya di Sekolah Menengah Swasta Penrajauan Kecamatan Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Pendidikan adalah proses yang melibatkan anak-anak sampai mereka menjadi individu dewasa susila. Penelitian lapangan (field research) ini menggunakan bentuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Proses ini membutuhkan waktu tertentu. Menurut penelitian ini, ketika anak didik menjadi pribadi dewasa susila, mereka akan sepenuhnya mampu bertindak sendiri untuk kesejahteraan hidup mereka dan masyarakat mereka. Dengan kata lain, guru percaya bahwa kurikulum 2013 adalah kurikulum yang sangat baik untuk diterapkan. Guru membuat RPP dengan menyalin karya orang lain dari internet dan kemudian memasukkannya ke dalam RPP mereka sendiri. Mereka menyalin untuk digunakan selama proses belajar. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning for Children with Special Needs (ABK) at SLBN Autis North Sumatera, focusing on three main aspects, namely planning, implementation, and learning assessment. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies, with informants consisting of Islamic Religious Education teachers, principals, and their deputies. All data obtained were analyzed using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learning planning begins with an initial assessment to understand the characteristics of students, but the teaching modules prepared by Islamic Education teachers are still general and not fully individualized. Learning implementation is conducted twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, with a flexible and differentiative approach. Teachers use individual and small group strategies, as well as varied learning media such as pictures, videos, and Islamic songs. Teaching and learning activities are also supported by regular principal supervision. Learning assessment is carried out adaptively through written, oral, practical methods, attitude observation, and student involvement in religious activities. However, teachers still face challenges in assessing.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 adalah suatu kumpulan perangkat pelajaran serta program pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk melahirkan generasi emas bangsa Indonesia. Pada Kurikulum 2013 ini, terdapat sebuah agenda yang menitik beratkan peserta didik alias siswa untuk lebih banyak menerapkan pembelajaran observasi, menggunakan alar, aktif bertanya, serta menunjuk segala hal yang diperoleh dari materi yang telah disampaikan oleh Guru. Tidak seperti kurikulum sebelumnya, Kurikulum ini mempunyai 3 aspek utama, diantaranya mampu melahirkan peserta didik dengan akhlak yang mulia (afektif), mempunyai keterampilan (psikomotorik), dan mempunyai pengetahuan yang irasional (kognitif).

Abstract

The Indonesian education system has undergone many curriculum revisions. The 2013 curriculum is now used as the main curriculum in schools. However, a number of schools use a unique curriculum known as the Independent Curriculum. The aims of this study were to: (1) find out the differences in implementation between the 2013 Curriculum and the Independent Curriculum at MAN BINJAI; (2) comparing the 2013 Curriculum and the Independent Curriculum at MAN BINJAI; and (3) examine the challenges related to the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum in the classroom. The results of the research show that the implementation of a mixed curriculum can be implemented, but there are still obstacles that must be faced by both teachers and students. So there is still something that needs to be improved in the use of the mixed curriculum.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the ability of the Aqidah Akhlak teachers at MTs in implementing the 2013 curriculum at Madinatussalam private MTs. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through instruments, interviews and triangulation and then simple analysis is carried out. Through this research, it can be seen how much the ability of aqidah akhlak teachers is in implementing the 2013 curriculum learning by looking at the percentage based on achievement indicators and the percentage of respondents. Where the highest percentage based on these indicators can be seen that the teacher has prepared an annual program, semester program, Rpp and KKM. So it can be concluded that the curriculum development that has been carried out at Madinatussalam private MTs can already be carried out properly by looking at the percentage based on achievement indicators and based on respondents. The results of this study can be used as material for recommendations for further research related to the 2013 curriculum with different indicators and places.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Kelas IV MIN Sunggal Kabupaten Kota Medan sebelum penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write (TTW). Untuk peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Kelas IV MIN MIN Sunggal Kabupaten Kota Medan, Sesudah penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write (TTW). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 Siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di ambil kesimpulan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Kelas IV MIN MIN Sunggal Kabupaten Kota Medan sebelum penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) diketahui pada pra siklus tindakan diperoleh rata-rata 46,5. Dengan siswa yang tuntas sejumlah 4 siswa (20,00%) dan tidak tuntas 16 siswa (80,00%). (2) Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Kelas IV MIN Sunggal Kabupaten Kota Medan Sesudah penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Talk Write (TTW). Diketahui pada tindakan siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 58.5. Dengan siswa yang tuntas sejumlah 7 siswa (35,00%) dan tidak tuntas 13 siswa (65,00%), tindakan siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 76.5. Dengan siswa yang tuntas sejumlah 18 siswa (90,00%) dan tidak tuntas 2 siswa (10,00%). Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh tersebut maka dapat dijelaskan bahwa siswa Kelas IV MIN Sunggal Kabupaten Kota Medan memperoleh hasil belajar yang meningkat.

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The approaches used in this research are: (a.) Paedagogic Approach (b.) Management Approach c.) Psychological Approach. Sources of data used in this study are: Primary Sources, Secondary Sources. Data collection techniques are Observation, Interview and Documentation and data analysis techniques used are: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions/Verification. The results of this study found that the leadership of the principal at SMAN 1 Percut Sei Tuan, which is often used by the principal is the type of communication leadership to shape teachers to become professional teachers in their respective fields, in the opinion of some teachers, that during his term of office the principal schools often give assumptions or directions to their subordinates, to always encourage them to carry out activities according to the functions of each teacher and also staff, so that the implementation of teacher learning can be carried out properly, and also as staff always carry out operations in accordance with the functions and directions of the school principal. So that a good cooperative relationship arises between the principal and his subordinates, and this will become the basis or reference for the principal to make a quality education system in accordance with the vision and mission at SMAN 1 Percut Sei Tuan.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum requires teachers to professionally design effective and meaningful (fun) learning, organize learning, choose the right approach, determine learning procedures and build competence effectively, and set success criteria. In implementing the 2013 Curriculum, learning achievement can be integrated into all learning in every field of study contained in the curriculum. This makes teachers who have used traditional evaluations have to change their evaluations, namely to become authentic evaluations based on curriculum demands. In accordance with the problem, this study aims to analyze "How to Apply the 2013 Curriculum in Improving Student Achievement at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang". The method used is to use a descriptive method to find out the planning and implementation of the 2013 curriculum carried out by the teacher in implementing and increasing student achievement.
