Abstract

Corruption in Indonesia has been categorized as a dangerous offence. Indonesia is still facing an emergency problem that has not been resolved for a relatively long time. Criminals of corruption will remain invaders and enemies of society. This corruption has given rise to many perpetrators of corruption, including public officials. Officials can commit corruption because of their positions. They can cause the country to go bankrupt. methods of investigating normative jurisprudence. Another basis of the criminal law is the deprivation of the right to occupy a public office for perpetrators of corruption. According to Indonesian law, certain rights can only be withdrawn for certain criminal acts.

Abstract

The equitable distribution of essential goods in Indonesia’s remote and archipelagic regions faces significant logistical challenges, primarily due to geographical complexity, limited transportation infrastructure, and unpredictable weather conditions. This study adopts the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) model to optimize inter-island aid distribution routes, with delivery locations modeled as a complete weighted graph. Inter-location distances are calculated using the Haversine formula based on actual geographical coordinates. The Path Cheapest Arc heuristic algorithm, implemented via Google OR-Tools, is employed to efficiently generate near-optimal routes. The optimization results show a reduction in travel distance by 22.7% (from 256.7 km to 198.4 km), accompanied by a decrease in estimated travel time from 10.27 hours to 7.94 hours, and a reduction in fuel consumption from 102.7 liters to 79.4 liters. These findings empirically demonstrate that TSP optimization can significantly reduce travel distance and distribution time in the context of maritime logistics. The integration of graph theory, optimization algorithms, and interactive route visualization not only enhances computational efficiency but also provides practical benefits for policymakers in the public sector. This methodological framework has the potential to be replicated for distribution scenarios in other remote regions, while also strengthening data-driven decision-making in governmental logistics planning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Nursing triage education in Indonesia still faces challenges, particularly related to students’ knowledge and satisfaction with the learning process. Less effective learning media, such as PowerPoint, which tends to be static, may affect student engagement and learning outcomes. An innovative alternative is the use of animated video, which provides a more visual, interactive, and engaging learning experience. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of PowerPoint and animated video on students’ satisfaction in triage nursing education. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. The subjects were 36 fifth-semester students of the Diploma in Nursing Program at Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar, divided into two groups: 18 students in the control group (PowerPoint) and 18 students in the experimental group (animated video). Data were collected using a satisfaction questionnaire before and after the intervention, and analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results: The findings showed that student satisfaction in the PowerPoint group increased from a mean of 71.06 ± 4.24 to 71.28 ± 4.32 (p = 0.042). In the animated video group, a greater increase was observed from 71.94 ± 6.88 to 79.38 ± 7.91 (p = 0.018). The comparison of mean differences between groups indicated a significant difference, with the PowerPoint group increasing by only 0.22 ± 0.43, while the animated video group increased by 8.33 ± 7.79 (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Animated video is more effective than PowerPoint in enhancing students’ satisfaction with triage nursing education. It is recommended that nursing education institutions integrate animated videos as innovative learning media to create a more interactive, engaging, and effective learning process. Abstract

The lack of understanding among BPD members regarding their duties and functions can affect the performance of the organization itself. This research aims to describe the performance of the Village Consultative Body in carrying out its governmental functions in Patukuki Village. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The research was conducted in Patukuki Village, Peling Tengah District, Banggai Islands Regency. Data was obtained from various sources, namely the village head, BPD Chairperson, BPD Secretary, hamlet figures, and community representatives. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process was carried out step by step, starting from collection, reduction, data presentation, to drawing conclusions and data verification. The research results show the low understanding of BPD members regarding their duties, weak coordination with the village government, and lack of community participation. The quality of service is quite good, but follow-up on aspirations is still minimal. The productivity and responsiveness of the BPD need to be improved through training and closer cooperation with the community. In terms of responsibility, the BPD has carried out its duties according to regulations, but inter-agency cooperation is still lacking. Accountability is also low due to the absence of open performance reports. The lack of transparency causes residents to not know the results of the BPD's work. Therefore, the BPD needs to be more open and active in providing its performance results so that public trust and participation increase. In conclusion, the duties and functions of the Patukuki Village Consultative Body have not been running well. This is due to weak coordination with the village government and lack of community participation. Therefore, the Village Consultative Body needs to be more open and active in providing its performance results so that public trust and participation increase.
