Abstract

Coloring of aluminum oxide on the Aluminum type AA1100, which is the typical type for household appliances and purposes, through anodizing coloring process by the blue color of commercial printer ink had been successfully performed. The blue color was well adhered and was not easy to be removed by physical treatment such as wiping. The anodize coloring process includes chemical cleaning of aluminum surface, the formation of pores in the sulfuric acid solution at a specific current and a specified duration of time, coloring and closing the pores via sealing. It also shows the anodizing process increases aluminum oxide surface hardness increased by applying higher current density, and longer duration time of the process. The aluminum oxide hardness was in harmony to the duration of time processing, and current density; however, not in line to a concentration of the solution. The maximum hardness of the aluminum oxide layer obtained is 50 kg/mm2. The relation of current density and voltage, the effect of current density and sulfuric acid concentration toward aluminum oxide hardness were analyzed. Moreover, the difference of aluminum oxide hardness of the front side and backside to cathode also discussed.

Abstract

The problem faced is that the white chromium coating has a low selling value or aesthetic value than the black chromium layer which is more in demand, especially by the younger generation who prioritizes aesthetics. The purpose of the corrosion test was to determine the corrosion resistance ability of the black chromium coating resulting from the electroplating process on the relationship between the solution temperature and the immersion time of copper in a corrosive solution. Corrosion test methods include literature studies, field observations, weighing specimens, immersing specimens in corrosive solutions, weighing specimens, calculating corrosion rates, and data analyzing. Corrosion test results show that the higher the temperature of the solution and the longer the immersion time, the smaller the corrosion rate for the lowest conditions at 30oC and a duration of 5 minutes with a corrosion rate of 0.2004 mm/year and the highest conditions at a temperature of 50oC and a duration of 9 minutes at a rate of corrosion of 0.0108 mm/year.

Abstract

This research demonstrates that the economic growth of the fisheries sector is underpinned by a synergistic interaction among investment, innovation, and market demand. Investment not only expands capacity directly but also enhances innovation capabilities that produce additional growth dividends. Market demand acts as an external driver that spurs producers to expand, upgrade, and diversify. The study achieves its aims: quantifying the relative contributions of the three drivers, revealing the mediating role of innovation, and uncovering spatial and subsectoral heterogeneity. From a policy perspective, the results point to the need for coordinated strategies: capital support, innovation encouragement, and market linkage must be advanced in tandem and adapted to regional contexts.

Abstract

The involvement of rogue Land Deed Officials (PPAT) and Notaries in illegal land title transfers, exemplified by the case of Nirina Zubir, constitutes a severe breach of their Profession Code of Ethics and professional oath. This highlights their failure to perform the principle of due diligence, as it is exploited by involving themselves in land mafias practice. The professional duty to act with honesty, integrity, diligence, independence, and impartiality, mandated by the Code of Ethics, the Notary Public Law (UUJN), and Regulation on the Office of the PPAT is violated when an authentic deed is issued based on forged documents or false identities. Such actions directly cause significant material losses and trigger a Tort (Perbuatan Melawan Hukum/PMH) under Article 1365 of the Civil Code. The consequences of these ethical violations are layered, encompassing professional disciplinary sanctions (ranging up to dishonorable discharge by the Notary Honorary Council or the PPAT Honorary Assembly), along with potential civil and criminal liability. This makes it a crucial issue demanding rigorous legal and ethical enforcement to restore the profession's integrity and ensure legal certainty in land affairs.

Abstract

The unknown fatigue life of injection molded plastic materials and the ineffectiveness of clamping both ends of the specimen in the collet of the Integrated Rotary Bending Fatigue Testing Machine with manual tightening and loosening are the obstacles faced. The purpose of testing and making a collet nut driver is to obtain a prediction of the fatigue life of injection molded plastic materials and to increase the effectiveness of clamping the end of the specimen with the help of a DC motor drive. The research method uses experiments which include injection molding of plastic materials of the type Polypropylene (PP) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), checking the straightness and surface finishing of the specimen, fatigue testing at 1800, 2000, 2200 rpm, analysis of fatigue test results, and design-manufacturing collet nut drive with DC motor drive and transmission of a pair of spiral cone gears, manufacture of DC motor sliding movement mechanism along the reach of both ends of the specimen, installation of electric power circuits for direction and electric current switches for clockwise and counterclockwise rotation functions, and analysis of the results of the fatigue test and performance of the collet nut driver The results of fatigue testing at a bending stress (S) of 68 MPa for PP material show that at 1800 rpm, the fatigue life (N) was obtained at 2,014,605 cycles and at 2200 rpm, N was obtained at 1,506,486 cycles. Meanwhile, for ABS specimens, at 1800 rpm, N was obtained at 1,547,106 cycles and at 2200 rpm, N was obtained at 1,190,425 cycles, which means PP material has a longer fatigue life compared to ABS. The test results of the DC motor drive on the collet nut showed that the duration of tightening/loosening was 4.4 times faster than manually, which originally had a duration of 66 seconds, down to just 15 seconds for the DC motor drive.
