Abstract

Management in Media Development is very necessary because Management can function in building creativity and innovation of administrators in an organization. The data collection method and technique in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Management in Media Development at OIF UMSU is carried out by implementing four management functions (planning, organizing, mobilizing and supervising). In terms of planning, OIF UMSU as a research and service institution must have a roadmap in both the short and long term. In the event that OIF UMSU organizes groupings, the arrangement and distribution of members' duties is described and stated in the job description document. Then in terms of Mobilization, Leaders can provide breakthroughs and in terms of Supervision, the Supervision carried out is not only in the form of punishment for those who make mistakes but also in the form of appreciation for achievements.

Abstract

Indicator of a nation's progress. In Indonesia, although the level of reading interest has begun to increase, when compared with other countries, the reading interest index is still relatively low. Therefore, various efforts are needed to encourage increased public interest in reading. Several parties who must be involved in increasing interest in reading include the government, libraries, librarians and the community. Among all this, libraries have a central role in efforts to increase reading interest. This PkM aims to explore the role of online libraries in villages in supporting education, literacy and community empowerment. Online libraries are identified as digital information centers that can improve access and quality of education in rural areas. Community Service (PkM) activities by the STAI Al Hidayah academic community in Cibanteng Ciampea Bogor village aim to increase empathy, concern and community welfare through their role as problem solvers. , motivator, facilitator and development dynamist. The focus of this PkM is to explore the role of online libraries in supporting education by creating the Village Month or Village Online Books program, to increase literacy and empower the community. The results show that the Village Month or Village Online Books program can improve access and quality of education and digital literacy, and provide important learning resources.

Abstract

Perkembangan  dunia  robotika  saat  ini  sangatlah  pesat.  Robot  sering  digunakan  untuk  membantu  proses  produksi  di pabrik-pabrik dalam proses kegiatan industrinya karena untuk menunjang kebutuhan hidup yang semakin tinggi, tentunya manusia akan bekerja sangat keras.  Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini, pembicaraan seputar robot tidak hanya  seputar dunia industri  namun  sudah  melingkup ke dunia  yang lebih luas  seperti dunia  medis, pekerjaan rumah tangga,  dan  hiburan.  Untuk  mengatasi  masalah  itu,  manusia  menciptakan  robot  untuk  membantu  dan  menggantikan kinerja manusia yang membutuhkan ketelitian yang tinggi dan  mengurangi   bahkan menghilangkan    risiko kecelakaan yang cukup tinggi. Robot mecanum wheel merupakan jenis robot omnidirectional mobile robot yang berperan penting dalam  transportasi  dan  industri  modern  karena  fleksibilitas  dan  kemampuan  manuvernya  yang  tinggi.  Dalam perancangan,  metode  yang  digunakan  adalah  eksperimental,  yaitu  melakukan  uji  coba  pada  mekanik  dan  rangkain elektronika pada robot. Pada metode penelitian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap untuk memudahkan dan memperjelas arah alur penelitian. Berdasarkan pengujian dan analisis yang telah dilakukan, bahwa robot ini memiliki remote control dan  beberapa  sensor.  Pada  hasil  perancangan,  pemasangan  sensor  ditempatkan  pada  tempat-tempat  tertentu,  dengan tujuan agar sensor dapat bekerja tanpa ada gangguan.

Abstract

Feedback has a crucial position in supporting the success of teaching and learning processes in English as Foreign Language (EFL) classroom setting. In addition, research in this essential topic should be conducted continuously. Most research on topic have been done at schools or even universities. Only few studies concentrate in non- formal education institution such as English courses. Therefore, it is reasonable to conduct this study. Employing qualitative research, this study invited eight English teachers at non-formal education institution. The study used interview as the instrument to collect data and thematic content analysis to analyze the data. The findings displayed that the participants faced challenges and having strategies in providing feedback for students. The result revealed that teachers find challenges like inappropriate response from the students and insufficient time to make it happen fully. Then, the strategies implemented to fulfill these challenges are sharing appreciation towards students’ work at the beginning, making a clear follow-up session as well as having a clear information to students, and creating a direct comment to students’ work and also adding some notes. This study will contribute more not only for non-formal education institution but also for formal education in general. Furthermore, other aspects, such as teaching approach as well as the method used may be considered as important to adjust with these findings.

Abstract

Abstrak : The company's financial performance can be assessed by analyzing financial ratios. Financial ratios can consist of several groups such as profitability, liquidity and solvency ratios. This study uses secondary data obtained indirectly from the results of CV ABC's financial statements for 2021-2022 using profitability ratios (Return On Assets, Return On Equity, Gross Profit Margin and Net Profit Margin), liquidity ratios (Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, and Cash Ratio) and solvency ratios (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio). This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive analysis model that aims to analyze financial ratios so that after analysis the company can know and can assess financial performance based on the value of the company's financial ratios. Based on the results of the study that the results of the assessment of financial performance on CV ABC have increased quite well. The profitability ratio can be said to be in good condition, so that the results of the ROA analysis meet the company's performance measurement standards, the results of the ROE analysis are good, the GPM results are quite good in 2021 and less good based on the 2022 analysis and the NPM analysis is not good for the last two years. in the Quick Ratio analysis it is said to be less good in 2021 and quite good in 2022, in the Cash Ratio analysis it is said to be not good for the last 2 years.then in the solvency analysis it is said to be good and has increased over the last two years based on the results of the analysis of Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio). Abstract

Community service activities with the theme of the economic value of waste cooking oil are a form of contribution to society and part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education of an educator (Lecturer). Waste is an environmental problem in Indonesia that will continue to be faced. One example of such waste is waste cooking oil or generally understood as waste cooking oil. Waste cooking oil is a type of waste with economic value. This type of waste can be a pollution problem, toxic and dangerous if not managed properly. The public in general has not been well educated about the negative impacts caused by waste cooking oil. People also do not understand well that waste cooking oil has economic value. The economic value of waste cooking oil can be in the form of derivative products that can be formed into ready-to-sell products such as biodiesel, aromatherapy, soap and other types of products. The results of this community service activity can be clearly measured that the participants of the event have gained an understanding, a change in attitude and a positive way of thinking about waste cooking oil, its negative impact, and how to create economic value. Abstract

Many studies in teachers’ perception of feedback have been done in mostly government educational institution. Otherwise, studies investigating the teachers’ perception in non-formal education setting is still insufficient. This study aims to analyze EFL teachers’ perception of feedback at non-formal education institutions. The data used in the research were assembled for about 2 months, starting from January to March 2023, and they were collected through observation and sharing questionnaires via google form. The participants were 8 English teachers. In addition, this qualitative research used thematic analysis to analyze the data. Based on the data analysis, this study revealed that providing feedback to students in EFL classroom is important and it should be mandatory. Also, students’ will not get any insight of their academic performances if teachers do not provide any feedback for them. At last, feedback process is best to give at the end of every session. The other issues are also discussed here

Abstract

Kampung di sekitar Keraton Kadriyah merupakan simbol budaya yang harus dihormati nilai-nilainya. Pengembangan kawasan itu harus berjalan dan dilaksanakan dengan tidak melupakan ciri khas dan identitasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang membentuk identitas tempat dari kampung di sekitar keraton. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi, yaitu menggunakan analisis faktor untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang membentuk identitas tempat, selanjutnya menggunakan hasil analisis spasial untuk memaknai dan memperjelas faktor-faktor pembentuk identitas tempat tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam (6) faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan identitas tempat kawasan kampung: pengalaman di jalur sirkulasi utama; suasana ruang publik; pengalaman psikologi dan atraksi budaya; objek yang menarik; pengalaman di ruang gang; langgam dan ornamen.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan ayat apa saja yang bertautan dengan prinsip manajemen pendidikan islam beserta penafsirannya. Sebab Al-Qur'an adalah sumber pokok umat Islam yang banyak mengandung hikmah di dalamnya untuk memberi petunjuk dan bimbingan jalan kehidupan manusia. Semua persoalan yang berhubungan pada kehidupan manusia ataupun eksistensi pada alam ini sudah tertulis dalam Al-Qur’an. Makalah ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang merupakan jenis dari penelitian kualitatif. Adapun metode yang dipakai dalam penafsiran ayat Al-Qur’an dari prinsip manajemen ini ialah tafsir Tahlili. Adapun ayat yang berkaitan dengan prinsip tersebut yaitu pada (1) Surat Al-ahzab/33:70 (2) dan Surat An-Nisa/4:58.

Abstract

Regulasi dan upaya untuk mengatasi tingginya praktik TP masih belum memadai dan terkesan alakadarnya sehingga perusahaan dengan mudah dapat melakukan manipulasi kondisi keuangannyadan berimplikasi pada rendahnya dan bahkan hilangnya kewajiban perusahaan membayar pajak. Disisi lain, praktik KKN antara elit pemerintah dengan perusahaan multinasional juga marakdan sudah menjadi rahasia umum. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan negara miskin-berkembangdalam pembiayaan pengentasan kemiskinan, pemenuhan hak-hak dasar warga dan pelayanan dasarlainnya, maka peningkatan pendapatan negara dari sektor pajak suatu keharusan yang mendesak
