Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan pertanian melalui hidroponik sayuran sederhana sehingga menghasilkan sayuran yang sehat dan meningkatkan perekonomian dalam kebutuhan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan survey dan analisis situasi yang dilakukan maka dapat diidentifikasi permasalahan sebagai berikut:1)Rendahnya pengetahuan tentang teknik budidaya sayur sederhana dengan menggunakan sistem hidroponik, 2)Belum adanya pelatihan dan sosialisasi tentang teknik budidaya sayur secara hidroponik dan 3)Masih kurangnya pemahaman tentang pemanfaatan lahan sempit yang dapat dijadikan lahan sayur hidroponik sederhana. Solusi yang ditawarkan kepada mitra adalah berupa Buku Panduan Hidroponik Sederhana Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui hidroponik sayuran sederhana kepada PKK Desa Tambangan Kelekar Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim. Serta dilaksanakannya pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan tanaman berbasis hidroponik sederhana. Oleh sebab itu,perlu adanya peningkatan peran Stakeholder yang lebih baik terkait dengan pengembangan kegiatan hidroponik sederhana pada PKK Desa Tambangan Kelekar Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim

Abstract

Pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 3 Sekayu masih menggunakan sistem dimana pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara tertulis atau lisan dan dilaksanakan hanya disekitar sekolah. Hal ini menimbulkan masalah saat pembelajaran terkendala dengan kebijakan pemerintah sehubungan dengan adanya penyebaran penyakit Covid 19 ataupun tuntutan inovasi pembelajaran karena semakin canggihnya teknologi. Tujuan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan bentuk edukasi tentang manajemen khususnya pengolahan data kegiatan siswa dalam pembelajaran disekolah berbasis teknologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan masalah yang terjadi pada SMK N 3 Sekayu atau yang sedang berlangsung, bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan apa-apa yang terjadi sebagaimana mestinya pada saat penelitian dilakukan pokok permasalahan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan ternyata secara umum ada peningkatan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan dalam penggunaan LMS dalam kegiatan pembelajaran seperti; guru mulai terbiasa menggunakan aplikasi E-learning dalam proses pembelajaran, mempermudah praktik, penyampaian materi, tugas, penilaian dan kegiatan lainnya pada siswa, serta aplikasi dari penggunaan E-Learning ini bukan hanya mempermudah pekerjaan guru sebagai tenaga pendidik namun berdampak bagi siswa yang semakin tertarik dengan pembelajaran karena dapat mengembangkan kreatifitas, minat, dan hobi mereka dibidang teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning strategies in Fiqh subjects at MI As Sidiqiyah Siak, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research data sources consisted of Fiqh teachers, madrasah heads, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, and used triangulation of techniques and sources for data validity. The results showed that the application of CTL strategies in MI As Sidiqiyah Siak can facilitate teachers in linking learning materials with students' real lives, motivating students to be more active and critical, and helping students develop knowledge learned in the context of everyday life. In addition, Fiqh learning implemented through CTL strategies can improve the attitude of cooperation between students and teachers, as well as between students with each other. The main supporting factors in the application of CTL are the support of teachers, parents, and adequate educational resources, while the inhibiting factors include the lack of student discipline and the lack of parental guidance. Overall, the CTL strategy proved to be effective in improving students' understanding of Fiqh material and forming positive attitudes in their daily lives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan profil dan perbedaan kesadaran multikultural generasi Z yang direpresentasikan oleh mahasiswa UNY. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif (metode campuran). Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta sejumlah 29.983 mahasiswa dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak multistage random sampling. Pelaksanaannya dilakukan dengan membagi populasi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu kelompok mahasiswa eksakta dan mahasiswa sosial-humaniora kemudian diambil sampelnya. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan rumus Lemeshow diperoleh sampel sebesar 95,73. Untuk menghindari adanya respon yang droup out maka jumlah sampel dibulatkan menjadi 200 orang untuk masing-masing kelompok mahasiswa eksakta dan mahasiswa sosial-humaniora dengan total 400 mahasiswa untuk kedua kelompok. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diadopsi dari kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh Tim Zamroni dan kawan-kawan. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dengan statistik uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kesadaran multikultural mahasiswa berdasarkan latar belakang keilmuan, yaitu mahasiswa dari fakultas sosial humaniora dan mahasiswa dari fakultas sains. Perbedaan ini menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang sosial budaya berimplikasi pada perbedaan kesadaran budaya. Diperlukan program yang holistik untuk memperkuat kesadaran multikultural di kalangan generasi Z. The purpose of this research was to describe the profile of multicultural awareness of the students' of Yogyakarta State University (UNY). This study used a descriptive approach by combining quantitative and qualitative methods (mix methods). The quantitative approach is used as the main method and the qualitative approach as the secondary method. The research population was students of Yogyakarta State University with a total of 29983 people. Multistage random sampling was conducted by dividing the population into two parts, namely groups of exact science students and social-humanities students, then the samples were taken. The sampling technique using the Lemeshow formula, obtained a sample of  95.73. To avoid a dropout of responses, the number of samples was rounded up to 200 people for each group of exact science students and social-humanities students with a total of 400 students for both groups. The data collection technique used a questionnaire which was adopted from the questionnaire developed by Tim Zamroni et al. Data analysis was quantitative analysis using T-test statistics. The results indicate that there are differences of the students'multicultural awareness based on scientific backgrounds, such as social humanities and science. This difference shows that scientific backgrounds can form different multicultural awareness. Socio-cultural background influences multicultural experiences in cultural communication and adaptation in social interactions. A holistic program is requiered to strengthen multi-cultural awareness among generation Z.

Abstract

Learning Props are teaching aids designed to accompany project-based learning activities. This community service is motivated by the problems faced by educators when implementing project-based learning models. Therefore an innovation is needed for these problems. SMP PGRI 1 Tempurejo is a target school in Jember district that is still less educated about the use of teaching aids in project-based learning models to support the implementation of an independent learning curriculum. This service activity is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation and reporting stage. The activities carried out in this community service are conducting training on the use of teaching aids media in project-based learning models to support the implementation of an independent learning curriculum for teachers and students at SMP PGRI 1 Tempurejo Jember. PhET media is an interactive simulation media that is given to students to facilitate practicum that cannot be done directly or real but uses a virtual laboratory that is effective in learning. In the training activities, teachers and students responded quite well, this was indicated by the response of teachers and students who stated that they knew about PhET media in the project-based learning model after conducting training. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the participants who took part in the training increased their insight, knowledge and skills about the use of teaching aids in the project-based learning model as a support for the implementation of an independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

Student responses to learning can be poor if students feel uninterested in the learning media. Therefore, innovations in interactive, technology-based learning media that are easy to understand and engaging are needed to improve student responses. This study aims to assess student responses after implementing Articulate Storyline 3-based learning media. The research uses a descriptive quantitative method with data collection techniques involving a response questionnaire with three indicators and a Likert scale. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Rogojampi during the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The average percentage of student responses was 86.6%, categorized as very good. The highest percentage was in the cognitive indicator at 91.2%, followed by the affective indicator at 86.8%, and the conative indicator at 81.7%. The average percentage across all indicators was 86.6%, with a very good category.

Abstract

In English learning, students must have learner autonomy which means that they are responsible for their own learning by setting learning objectives, selecting learning methods, and evaluating progress. Autonomous learning also involves overcoming learning obstacles independently. This study aims to find out the public health students' perceptions of learner autonomy in English learning through descriptive statistics research, involving 66 respondents using questionnaires and interviews. Perceptions are evaluated in four categories of Learner Autonomy, namely Responsibility, Ability, Motivation, and Learning Activities. The results show that although students are highly motivated and perceived to be good in English ability, they remain teacher-centered and perceive that the teacher has greater responsibility for their learning. The outside-class learning activities were rated “very poor” to “poor” while inside-class learning activities were rated “poor” to “fair”. Public health students need to enhance their learner autonomy since they are good in some categories (ability and motivation), but poor in others (responsibility and learning activities).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties of students in working on questions on triangle material in class VII. As for the factors that cause difficulties in solving problems for students and internal factors or factors from within themselves and external factors, namely factors that arise from outside the student. This type of research is qualitative research that produces descriptive data. The subjects of this study were students of SMP 1 Bengkulu City, which consisted of 7 students in class VII.4 for the 2020 school year. Data collection techniques used are tests, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative including: data reduction, data presentation (data display) and conclusion drawing. After being analyzed and seen from the explanation of the table above, it is evident that the most types of errors are types of conceptual errors. This error occurs because of an error using the triangle formula in mathematics lessons. The factors of the difficulties experienced by students are not being careful, rushing in working on the questions, forgetting, not having enough time to do the questions, giving up quickly, being fooled, and anxious.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bimbingan motivasi bagi siswa Madrasah Aliyah terkait dengan materi meningkatkan motivasi belajar sebelum menghadapi ujian ASPD. Pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai sarana pembelajaran anak-anak agar dapat belajar dengan fokus, tekun dan bisa berkonsentrasi sebelum menghadapi ujian ASPD. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa Madrasah Aliyah sangat antusias dan aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Dari kegiatan ini, diharapkan bahwa semua siswa bisa lolos dalam ujian dengan hasil prestasi yang tinggi sesuai yang diinginkan oleh para siswa

Abstract

In this 21st century, students are required to have skills in facing the challenges of globalization, one of which is scientific reasoning skills. Scientific reasoning is the ability to think systematically and logically to solve problems. Six indicators of scientific reasoning ability include conversion reasoning, proportional reasoning, variable control, probabilistic reasoning, correlation reasoning, and hypothesis-deductive reasoning. Scientific reasoning ability can be improved by using learning models that encourage students to think at a higher level, one of which is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this research is to determine the scientific reasoning ability of students through the application of the PBL model on static fluid physics material. This type of research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. This research was conducted in class XI MIPA 4 SMAN 3 Jember. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results obtained are the average score of students' reasoning ability on the six indicators of scientific reasoning in the very good category.
