Abstract

Kabupaten Kapuas di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah masih menghadapi tantangan serius dalam menurunkan angka stunting pada balita, dengan prevalensi di beberapa wilayah yang melebihi ambang batas 20% menurut standar WHO. Masalah ini tidak hanya disebabkan oleh rendahnya asupan gizi, tetapi juga oleh faktor pola asuh, pengetahuan orang tua, dan keterbatasan akses pangan bergizi. Di sisi lain, potensi lokal berupa ikan gabus (Channa striata), yang kaya albumin dan nutrien penting, belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal sebagai sumber pangan fungsional. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, dikembangkan program Gerakan GENTING (Gerakan Pemberdayaan Orang Tua Asuh dalam Produksi Olahan Ikan Gabus) yang bertujuan meningkatkan status gizi anak berisiko stunting sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat. Berbeda dari pendekatan stunting konvensional, kegiatan ini mengintegrasikan edukasi gizi, pelatihan usaha, dan pemanfaatan pangan lokal secara simultan, yang belum banyak diterapkan di Kalimantan Tengah. Program ini melibatkan ibu PKK dan tokoh masyarakat melalui pelatihan pengolahan ikan gabus dan pendampingan konsumsi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan gizi sebesar 40% dan perubahan perilaku konsumsi, di mana 70% keluarga sasaran mengonsumsi olahan ikan gabus minimal tiga kali per minggu. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memperbaiki status gizi anak, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengembangan produk olahan ikan lokal. “GENTING” Movement as a Model of Foster Parent Empowerment and Utilization of Snakehead Fish in Kapuas Regency Abstract Kapuas Regency in Central Kalimantan still faces serious challenges in reducing stunting among children under five, with prevalence in several areas exceeding the 20% threshold set by WHO. This problem is not only caused by low nutritional intake but also by parenting patterns, limited nutritional knowledge, and restricted access to nutritious food. On the other hand, the local potential of snakehead fish (Channa striata), which is rich in albumin and essential nutrients, has not been optimally utilized as a functional food source. To address this challenge, the GENTING Movement (Empowerment of Foster Parents in Snakehead Fish Processing) was developed to improve the nutritional status of children at risk of stunting while empowering the community. Unlike conventional stunting interventions, this program integrates nutrition education, entrepreneurship training, and the utilization of local food simultaneously an approach rarely applied in Central Kalimantan. The program involved women’s groups (PKK) and community leaders through training in snakehead fish processing and consumption assistance. The results showed a 40% increase in nutritional knowledge and improved dietary behavior, with 70% of target families consuming snakehead-based products at least three times per week. This activity not only improved children’s nutritional status but also created new economic opportunities through local fish product development.

Abstract

Recruitment practices in various Islamic educational institutions still face a number of challenges. This study aims to analyze the concept, principles, and implementation of employee recruitment in Islamic educational institutions from the perspective of human resource management based on Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review, drawing data from journals published by google scholar, researchgate, garuda, and sinta, published between 2020-2025, related to Islamic education management. Data collection was conducted throught documentation, and data analysis was conducted using content analysis. The findings indicate that an ideal recruitment process in Islamic education must adhere to the principles of amanah (trustworthiness), justice, professionalism, transparency, and anti-nepotism, as emphasized in QS. Al-Qashash verse 26. The desired employee criteria include professional competence, Islamic personality, spirituality, and social skills. The implementation in various Islamic educational institutions shows that although these Islamic recruitment principles have been applied, challenges remain—such as limited resources, lack of standardized procedures, and minimal utilization of digital technology in the selection process

Abstract

Penelitian ini di pada PT. ACE Hardware Makassar. sebanyak 97 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah secara deskriptif untuk menjelaskan karakteristik responden dan deskripsi variabel penelitian. Selanjutnya data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan alat analisis regresi berganda melalui program Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai pengaruh Organisasi Trust dan Employee Engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan atau keseluruhan variabel Organisasi Trust dan Employee Engagement berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. ACE Hardware Makassar sedangkan secara parsial variabel Employee Engagement tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ini juga menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. ACE Hardware Makassar sangat di butuhkan adanya kepercayaan terhadap organisasi (organisasi trust).

Abstract

Yellow root (Arcangelisia flava) demonstrates potential for combating bacterial infections in aquaculture due to its secondary metabolite content, which includes flavonoids, terpenoids, and protoberberine alkaloids. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of yellow root extract as a curative agent against Aeromonas hydrophila infection in Climbing Perch (Anabas testudineus). The method employed was an in vivo study using immersion treatments of yellow root extract at concentrations of 200, 400, and 600 mg/L, alongside a control (0 mg/L). Observations were conducted for 10 days post-infection and treatment, covering clinical symptoms and Survival Rate (SR). Prior to treatment, the fish exhibited clinical symptoms characteristic of A. hydrophila, such as red spots and exophthalmia. The results indicated that water quality parameters (temperature 26.4–27.1°C, pH 6.8–7.1, DO 3.28–3.47 mg/L) remained within optimal and stable ranges. In the extract treatment groups (B, C, and D), significant recovery was observed starting from day 3, achieving a 100% SR by day 10. In contrast, the control group (A) only attained an SR of 26.6%. This curative success is attributed to the mechanism of action of active compounds, which disrupt bacterial membranes and inhibit metabolism. It is concluded that A. flava extract is effective as a natural alternative treatment for bacterial infections in Climbing Perch.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the competencies of Forestry students at SMK Negeri 1 Tualang, Siak Regency, in drone-based videography using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology. The training was conducted through an experiential learning approach that integrated theoretical instruction, technical demonstrations, and hands-on field practice. Training materials covered UAV fundamentals, flight safety, and aerial videography techniques relevant to forestry applications. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using pre-test and post-test methods, supported by observations and interviews. The results indicated a substantial increase in the participants’ average scores, from 57.91% before the training to 96.51% after the training. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test revealed a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test results (p 0.05), confirming the positive impact of the training on students’ knowledge and technical skills. In addition, the program fostered improved confidence, discipline, and responsibility in drone operation. This activity contributes to strengthening vocational competencies and technological literacy in forestry education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited empirical evidence on the application of systematic methods in solving linear equation systems in physics education, particularly in dynamic electricity, to support students' mathematical reasoning abilities and learning outcomes. Previous studies have mostly emphasized conceptual understanding, while the use of the Gauss–Jordan method as a structured problem-solving approach has received limited attention. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impact of applying the Gauss–Jordan method on students' mathematical reasoning abilities and learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group. Participants consisted of 67 high school students and 65 physics education students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using essay tests based on four indicators of mathematical reasoning and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk test, independent samples t-test, and Mann–Whitney U test. The results showed that students in the experimental group obtained significantly higher scores in mathematical reasoning and learning outcomes compared to students in the control group (p < 0.05). The novelty of this study lies in the integration of algorithm-based and matrix-oriented problem solving in dynamic electricity learning. These findings indicate that systematic mathematical modeling strengthens students' reasoning and conceptual understanding in physics. However, the limited sample size restricts generalization, and further research is recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of motivation and leadership in improving employee performance in the Quality Control Department of PT Gokak Indonesia. Employee performance is a key factor that influences product quality and company success. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving one supervisor and nine Quality Control employees. The findings indicate that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation significantly influence employees’ work spirit, satisfaction, and engagement. Intrinsic motivation, such as pride in work and self-development opportunities, encourages employees to be more accurate and productive. Extrinsic motivation, including recognition, compensation, and a supportive work environment, strengthens employee loyalty. Moreover, the participative leadership style of the supervisor plays an essential role in creating a positive work environment, enhancing collaboration, and fostering employees’ sense of belonging to the company. This study concludes that the synergy between motivation and effective leadership is crucial in improving employee performance, productivity, and product quality at PT Gokak Indonesia. The research provides theoretical contributions to human resource management literature and practical implications for developing motivation and leadership strategies in the textile industry.

Abstract

High feed costs (accounting for 60–70% of production costs) and the risks of stress in intensive aquaculture necessitate the use of safe, natural feed additives. Kaik-kaik root (Uncaria cordata) contains bioactive compounds such as alkaloids and flavonoids, which have the potential to enhance fish health and metabolic efficiency. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of adding Uncaria cordata root extract as a feed additive on feed utilization efficiency, growth performance, and survival rate of Oreochromis niloticus. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications, namely P0 (0% as control), P1 (2%), P2 (4%), and P3 (6%) inclusion levels of the extract in the feed. The observed parameters included growth performance (weight gain and specific growth rate/SGR), feed utilization efficiency (feed conversion ratio/FCR and feed efficiency), and survival rate (SR). Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the potential of peat water microalgae Chlorella sp. on the survival and growth of Betok fish (Anabas testudineus) fingerlings. An experimental method was employed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of three dosage treatments (A: 10 mL, B: 20 mL, C: 30 mL) with three replications. Parameters observed included Survival Rate (SR), absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, and Specific Growth Rate (SGR) over a 42-day rearing period. The results indicated that the administration of peat water microalgae had no significant effect ($P > 0.05$) on any of the tested parameters. However, visually, treatment C (30 mL) showed the highest results with a survival rate of 87.0%, absolute weight growth of 0.64 g, absolute length growth of 1.00 cm, and SGR of 1.13%. This suggests that nutrient intake from microalgae at the fingerling stage is predominantly used for maintaining physiological functions and suppressing environmental stress rather than somatic growth. Water quality parameters during the study remained within the optimal range, with temperatures of 26.0–27.5°C, pH 5.42–6.91, and DO 5.4–6.9 mg/L.

Abstract

Introduction: The diagnosis of bacterial infection can only be made by gram stain with patient information. One of the problems with gram staining is that the resulting microscopic images look dim, making them prone to misinterpretation. Researchers conducted a study on modifying secondary dyes in gram staining to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of Bacterial vaginosis infections.Methods: This research is a laboratory experimental study with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study consisted of anaerobic gram-negative rods on vaginal swabs of patients diagnosed with Bacterial vaginosis at Dr. Moewardi Hospital and Sebelas Maret University Hospital during March to July 2022. The samples were then treated in the form of gram staining with different secondary dyes and then compared.Results: The color intensity of anaerobic gram-negative rod bacteria samples treated with gram staining using fuchsin secondary dye appeared to be stronger than safranin secondary dye. Likewise, the resulting focus looks clearer. The diagnostic test showed that modification of secondary dyes in gram staining by substituting safranin into fuchsin increased the color intensity and focus of preparations Conclusion: Modification of secondary dye on gram staining by replacing secondary dye of safranin to fuchsin can improve the quality of gram staining results on anaerobic gram negative bacteria thereby increasing the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment given.
