Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi kebijakan pendidikan kesetaraan di Dinas PendidikanKabupaten Pacitan beserta faktor pendukung dan penghambat.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasiteknik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis model Miles dan Haberman yaitu reduksi data,penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulanHasil penelitian: 1) Melalui komunikasi, informasi kebijakan pendidikan kesetaraanditransformasikan secara konsisten; b) Belum optimalnya sumber daya pendukung dalam implementasikebijakan; c) Disposisi pelaksana kebijakan dalam melaksanakan kebijakan pendidikan kesetaraan sangattinggi; d) Struktur birokrasi sesuai dengan yang ditetapkan. 2) Faktor pendukung: dukungan dari pemerintah,banyaknya tutor yang kompeten, kurikulum yang adaktif, adanya kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak. Faktorpenghambat, meliputi: informasi kebijakan belum dipahami secara jelas, kewenangan belum difungsikansecara optimal, belum mencukupinya sumber daya anggaran, faktor ekonomi masyarakat, letak geografisKabupaten Pacitan, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan, belum optimalnyapenyelenggaraan pendidikan kesetaraan, rendahnya intensitas kehadiran warga belajar, minimnya gaji yangditerima oleh tutor, kurangnya buku petunjuk kurikulum, kurangnya sarana dan parasarana kegiatanpembelajaran.Kata kunci: implementasi, kebijakan pendidikan, kesetaraan

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' learning outcomes who are taught using the scientific approach method in groups and not in groups. This research is quantitative. The study population was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 03 Bengkulu City. In this study, sampling was carried out by purposive sampling because not all samples have criteria that match the phenomenon under study. The two classes chosen were Class VIII A and VIII B, each of which contained eight students. Each student gets material based on the same curriculum, the two samples in the same class, the teacher uses the same method, the characteristics of learning, and the students' initial abilities. Collecting data used in this study using observation and test questions. Based on the results of the above data using the non-parametric Mann Whitney Test, it was found that the results of learning mathematics in class A were greater with a mean Rank of 8.63, while in class B with a mean Rank of 8.38. Based on the output test statistics, it is known that the Asymp Sig. (2.talled) value is 0.916 <0.05. The hypothesis is accepted. It can be said that there is a significant difference in results between class A and class B with the effect of learning in the experimental class and the control class.Keywords: Scientific Approach, study, Circle

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the student's ability to interpret graphics on motion kinematics material. The research was conducted in four private schools, namely the Thamavitya School in Yala Province, the Romanian School in Naratiwatn Province, the Azizstan Foundation School in Pattani Province, and the Seangtam Wittaya Foundation School in Senggora Province. Research respondents were class X IPA students in the even semester of 2019/2020 with a total of 160 people. The research instrument was a test in the form of multiple choice questions along with 10 points of reasons. The results showed that in general the students' ability to interpret graphics on the motion kinematics material was categorized less. In detail, the results show that the ability to determine the meaning of gradients on categorized graphs is very lacking, the ability to determine data from a range of categorized variables is sufficient, the ability to determine data on independent and dependent variables on categorized graphs is lacking, the ability to determine relationships between variables on categorized graphs is lacking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Ingin mengetahui kemampuan siswa didalam melaksanakan pembelajaran akhlak dengan menggunakan  strategi group resume;  (2) Ingin mengetahui pelaksanaan tindakan siklus I untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pembelajaran akhlak melalui  strategi group resume (3) Ingin mengetahui pelaksanaan tindakan siklus II untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pembelajaran akhlak melalui  strategi group resume.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 04 Pontianak Timur yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan dengan data catatan, data instrumen, data tentang situasi belajar mengajar dikelas, data penilaian siklus I dan data penilaian siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siklus I perolehan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menjadi 67,91 (70%) kategori baik. Siklus II perolehan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 80,41 (83%) kategori baik sekali.

Abstract

Background: Blood cultures in conjunction with the initial Gram stain of positive cultures have often been considered the “gold standard” for the diagnosis of bacteremia. When blood cultures turn positive, the attending physicians are usually notified immediately about Gram stain findings. However, information on the accuracy of Gram staining is very limited. We examined the error of preliminary blood culture reports provided by a local laboratory in an observational study.Design and Method: This was an observational study with a cross sectional approach. In this study, 369 blood cultures were examined. The positive blood cultures (135 samples) were then examined by Gram stain. Blood cultures handled on Bactec 9050, while the Gram stain was done in standard procedure Gram. Interpretation errors of Gram stain were confirmed by cultures result.Result: During one month (April 2011) we examined 369 blood cultures which 135 are positive (36.5%). Positive blood cultures were misread for 6 (4.4%) of 135 patients, they were two read as gram positive cocci had gram negative organisms by culture which were Acinetobacter baumannii, one read as gram positive bacilli had gram negative bacilli by culture which was Klebsiella pneumoniae. One isolate read as gram negative bacilli had gram positive bacilli which was Bacillus species, while two sample read as gram negative bacilli only had polymicrobial by culture, of these one isolate grew to be Enterobacter aerogenes and Staphylococcus aureus and the other were Escherichia coli and Acinetobacter spp.Conclusion: The overall 4.4% error rate of misinterpreted Gram stains from positive blood culture bottles is relatively high, so laboratory professionals and clinical microbiologist must be aware of the potential types of error that occur (Sains Medika, 4(1):23-29).

Abstract

Background : Acute central nervous system infection can be rapidly progressive, causing death or permanent damage in a short period of time. The diagnosis and knowledge of possible etiological agent is critically important. We present a case of a 15-month-old girl with generalized seizures and ecchymosis suspected for meningococcal infection but there was no proof of the agent of infection.Case report : A 15-month-old girl was admitted with fever of 39,4°C, generalized seizures, and petechiae after suffered high fever and cough in previous day. This was her first episode of seizures. She has no past history of growth and developmental disorder. She became rapidly deteriorated after few hours being hospitalized in Kariadi. Brain CT-scan was not done due to her conditions. She had anemia, normal white blood count, monocytosis, thrombocytopenia (4000/mm3), low CD4 count (99 cell/mm3), hipoalbuminemia (1.4 g/dl), increased lactate (2.5 mmol/L) and procalcitonin (>200.00 ng/ml). Cerebrospinal fluid analysis revealed normal cells count and glucose but increased protein level (375.2 mg/dL). Meningococcal infection was suspected due to clinical appearance, and ceftriaxone was given. Bacteriological and fungal culture of CSF and blood showed no growth. Despite of cardiorespiratory support given, she died after 4 days of admission.Discussion : Features of seizure and general ecchymosis do not belong exclusively to meningococcal infection. There are other possible etiological agent such as Haemophylus influenza, Streptococcal infection and viral infection. Shortage of available diagnostic tools such as Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) made it difficult to confirm the etiological agent (Sains Medika, 4(2):204-209).Question Remarks : What agent which you think cause the infection?

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi resiliensi individu guru SMA/SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), menganalisis, dan menguji secara empiris pengaruh ketujuh aspek resiliensi terhadap resiliensi individu. Analisis dan pengujian menggunakan instrumen skala resiliensi personal dengan mengadopsi dari teori yang dikembangkan oleh Reivich dan Shatte. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh guru SMA/SMK di DIY, dengan pengambilan sampel minimum menggunakan rumus Lamshow sebanyak 249 guru SMA/SMK dengan teknik purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Model) dengan bantuan software Lisrel 8.54. Temuan utama penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat resiliensi individu guru SMA/SMK di DIY dengan mendasarkan pada tujuh faktor resiliensi individu yaitu aspek emotional regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out. Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa aspek resiliensi individu guru SMA/SMK di DIY yang memiliki pengaruh paling dominan adalah aspek keempat (optimism), aspek kedua (impulse control), aspek keenam (aspect self efficacy), aspek ketiga (aspect empathy), aspek kelima (aspect causal analysis). Adapun aspek resiliensi individu guru SMA/SMK di DIY yang memiliki pengaruh terendah pada aspek ketujuh (reaching out) dan aspek kesatu (emotional regulation). Resilience of high school/vocational school teachersThe purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the individual resilience of SMA/SMK teachers in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta(DIY), analyze and empirically test the influence of the seven aspects on individual resilience using the individual resilience scale instrument adopted from Reivich and Shatte. The research population was all high school teachers in Yogyakarta, with a minimum sampling using the Lamshow formula of 249 high school teachers with purposive sampling technique and data analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with the help of Lisrel 8.54 software. The main finding of the research is the individual resilience of high school teachers in Yogyakarta, which looks at seven individual resilience factors: emotional regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out. Based on the results of SEM analysis, explain that the most dominant aspects of individual resilience of high school teachers in DIY are the fourth aspect (aspect of optimism), the second aspect (aspect of impulse control), the sixth aspect (aspect of self-efficacy), the third aspect (aspect empathy), the fifth aspect (aspect causal analysis), and the lowest in the seventh aspect (aspect reaching out) and the first aspect (aspect emotional regulation.

Abstract

Learning is a process to arrange and organize an environment that can grow and encourage students to learn. The critical thinking skills and academic achievements of students in Indonesia remain at a relatively low level. This diminished level of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes is attributed to a lack of interest among students in the learning process.Appropriate learning models and media are very important in the learning process. The utilized research methodology is a true experiment with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests and statistical tests. Based on the normality test, the critical thinking ability data is normally distributed, so the data is continued with the T Test (Independent Sample T-Test) which results in an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 is less than 0.05, so there is an effect of applying the PBL model assisted by E-LKPD wizer.me on the results of students' critical thinking skills on dynamic fluid material in high school. While the normality test of learning outcomes states that the data is not normally distributed, so data analysis is carried out with the Man Whitney U Test. Based on the Man Whitney U Test, the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 is less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of PBL model assisted by E-LKPD wizer.me on student learning outcomes on dynamic fluid material in high school. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the PBL model with the support of E-LKPD wizer.me has a significant effect on critical thinking skills in high school. Abstract

In the era of the 21st century, the transformation of learning that focuses on the role of teachers into a focus on active student engagement is essential. Lack of mastery of concepts by students is often influenced by the selection of learning models and media that are less supportive, resulting in less responsiveness of students to the learning process. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the PBL model assisted by Lectora Inspire 18 dynamic fluid material on mastery of physics concepts. This research is an experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection methods consist of writtent tests. Data analysis techniques for mastering concepts use the Mann Withney U Test, while critical thinking skills use score criteria. The results showed Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05). The conclusion obtained is that there is a significant influence on the application of the PBL model assisted by Lectora Inspire 18 dynamic fluid material on mastery of physics concepts

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD dengan jumlah siswa 22. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan instrumen pengumpulan data tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dengan media games puzzle dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika, siswa tuntas pada kondisi awal 59% dan siswa tidak tuntas 41% meningkat menjadi 68% siswa tuntas dan 32% siswa tidak tuntas di siklus I, meningkat kembali di siklus II siswa tuntas 95% dan siswa tidak tuntas 5%  dan rata-rata kelas yang semula 62 meningkat menjadi 64,5 pada siklus I serta meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 80
