Abstract

Profesionalisme guru adalah salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan Sekolah Dasar. Namun masih terdapat berbagai permasalahan terkait rendahnya profesionalisme guru yang dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman mengajar dan pengembangan kompetensi yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman mengajar dan pengembangan kompetensi terhadap profesionalisme guru MI/SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner berskala Likert menggunakan Google Form kepada responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengalaman mengajar (X1), pengembangan kompetensi (X2), dan profesionalisme guru (Y). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik berupa uji regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman mengajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru, terutama dalam aspek pemahaman karakter siswa dan pengelolaan kelas. Guru dengan pengalaman mengajar lebih dari sepuluh tahun cenderung memiliki kematangan praktik yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, pengembangan kompetensi juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru, terutama melalui pembelajaran mandiri dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Dengan demikian, kedua variabel tersebut memiliki kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru MI/SD.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how digital Islamic literacy serves as a modern spiritual tool for students experiencing digital fatigue at SMAN 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo. Digital fatigue has become a serious problem among teenagers, characterized by decreased motivation to study, stress, and spiritual exhaustion stemming from excessive social media use. This study uses a qualitative case study approach, employing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that digitalization has an ambivalent impact on students' spirituality: on the one hand, it facilitates access to religious knowledge, but on the other hand, it causes distraction and mental fatigue (digital fatigue). Through the integration of digital Islamic literacy, PAI learning has successfully transformed from a lecture-based method to an interactive dialogue focused on reflecting on Islamic values in the virtual world. Digital Islamic literacy has been shown to strengthen critical thinking skills, spiritual awareness, and the ability to select and interpret religious content in context. The conclusion of this study confirms that digital Islamic literacy not only improves students' technological skills but also serves as a means of reactivating.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teacher professionalism and the effectiveness of differentiated instruction in implementing Kurikulum Merdeka through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA guidelines. From 187 initial articles searched through Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, and SINTA for the period 2015-2025, 20 studies were selected as primary sources. Data analysis employed open coding, axial coding, and selective coding with validation through source triangulation, audit trail, and peer debriefing. The research identified four main themes: (1) pedagogical competence as the dominant factor in differentiation quality; (2) weak diagnostic assessment as a link between professionalism and differentiation; (3) theory-practice gap and operational barriers; (4) Islamic tarbiyah dimension as a distinguishing factor yet underutilized. Findings reveal a structural paradox where 80% of teachers understand differentiation but only 35% implement it fully due to systemic barriers such as high administrative burden, limited ICT infrastructure, and minimal principal support. This study concludes that differentiation effectiveness in MI depends on three simultaneous conditions: madrasah structural support, continuous professional development, and integration of tarbiyah into technical competencies. Research limitations include the dominance of descriptive-exploratory studies without strong causal designs and limited geographical distribution in Java-Sulawesi, thus requiring longitudinal or mixed-methods research for deeper validation

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the Market Day activity as an implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in fostering elementary students’ character. The research was conducted at SD Khazanah Ilmu, focusing on fifth-grade students who actively participated in the activity. The observed character aspects included responsibility, cooperation, confidence, and initiative throughout the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through direct observation and documentation, including sales reports, student worksheets, and teachers’ notes. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of attitudes and behaviors reflecting character development. The findings indicated that the Market Day activity effectively fostered students’ character. Students demonstrated improved responsibility in fulfilling group roles, enhanced cooperation in completing tasks, increased confidence in communicating while offering products, and stronger initiative in decision-making when facing challenges. With consistent teacher guidance, students understood that the activity was not merely about buying and selling but also a meaningful learning experience. In conclusion, Market Day is a viable experiential learning strategy for character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study examines law enforcement strategies in addressing cryptocurrency-based money laundering, with particular emphasis on evidentiary challenges and cross-border cooperation using a normative legal approach. The rapid development of digital assets such as Bitcoin has introduced new complexities in financial crime, enabling illicit actors to exploit decentralized systems and pseudonymous transactions. Through doctrinal analysis of legal frameworks, regulations, and international standards, including those established by the Financial Action Task Force, this research identifies key gaps in the current legal system. The findings reveal that the collection and admissibility of digital evidence remain significant obstacles due to difficulties in linking blockchain transactions to identifiable individuals, as well as limitations in technical capacity and legal procedures. Additionally, cross-border cooperation is hindered by regulatory fragmentation, jurisdictional differences, and slow mutual legal assistance mechanisms. Existing law enforcement strategies—while incorporating regulatory, technological, and institutional approaches are often insufficient and lack integration. This study concludes that strengthening international legal harmonization, enhancing digital forensic capabilities, and reforming cross-border cooperation mechanisms are essential to improving enforcement effectiveness. Furthermore, adaptive legal frameworks are needed to balance innovation in cryptocurrency with accountability and oversight. This research contributes to the development of more responsive legal strategies to combat cryptocurrency-based money laundering in an increasingly globalized digital economy.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Namun, implementasi teknologi dalam PAI masih menghadapi tantangan struktural dan kultural, serta kesenjangan penelitian terkait integrasi teknologi dan nilai-nilai Islam dalam profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI di era digital, menganalisis transformasi profesionalisme guru PAI, serta mengeksplorasi hubungan antara integrasi teknologi dan transformasi profesionalisme tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi pustaka yang bersifat deskriptif-analitis. Sumber data berupa artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional bereputasi, buku akademik, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan terbitan 2020–2026. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis isi dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI mencakup e-learning, learning management system, media interaktif berbasis Android, kelas virtual, pembelajaran hibrida, hingga kecerdasan buatan. Profesionalisme guru PAI di era digital tidak hanya diukur dari penguasaan materi keislaman, tetapi juga literasi digital, kemampuan pedagogik berbasis teknologi, serta peran sebagai fasilitator dan filter moral. Hubungan antara integrasi teknologi dan transformasi profesionalisme bersifat konseptual dan komplementer, di mana teknologi berperan sebagai katalis perubahan paradigma, peningkatan efektivitas kinerja, serta pembentukan peran baru guru PAI sebagai agen inovasi dan penyaring nilai-nilai Islam di ruang digital.

Abstract

Puritans Muslim -with a spirit of the Quran and Sunnah- made Islam in the time of Prophet Sawas an authentic and final model. Using a textual approach, they understand Islam rigidly so that all the features of Islam mixed with local locality (non-Arabic) are considered to be viruses and must be sterilized to get pure. In contrast to moderate Muslims, though both of them are in line with the Qur'an and Sunnah, they are not using a textual approach but contextualist or even philosophical. Islam at the time of the Prophet saw was viewed by moderate Muslims as a historic and dialectical Islam with socio-cultural society, because they understand Islam flexibly. With different approaches in the return movement in the Quran and Sunnah, the two Islamic epistemes are different, as seen in the issue of women's position. In the history, Puritan Muslims often use violence in the name of religion to defend and spread its ideology. The above study is based on historical study with descriptive-qualitative approach.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 necessitates that Islamic Education (PAI) teachers adapt to technological advancements to enhance their professionalism. This study investigates the influence of Indonesian education policies on the competence development of PAI teachers. Employing a literature review methodology, the research analyzes policies related to teacher professional development. The findings reveal that effective policies encompass technology-based training, digital certification, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Furthermore, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data in learning assessments significantly enhances teaching quality. The provision of digital infrastructure and incentives for exemplary teachers also plays a crucial role in elevating professionalism. Additionally, data-driven performance evaluations facilitate an objective measurement of policy effectiveness. Importantly, education policy strengthens teachers' autonomy and fosters educational innovation. Thus, it is imperative to implement adaptive and technology-focused education policies to equip PAI teachers with skills that meet contemporary demands.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited studies on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers, even though this phenomenon has a significant impact on the quality of learning and the transformation of basic education. The purpose of this study is to explore the understanding and practices of MI teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum, as well as the challenges they face. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving eight MI teachers selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, then analysed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study show four main findings: (1) the adaptation of the Independent Learning philosophy which is still technical, (2) the integration of character values ​​in learning which is not yet systematic, (3) the transformation of learning planning towards a reflective and contextual approach, and (4) limited training that does not match field needs. These findings enrich the literature on the implementation of the new curriculum and show the importance of institutional support and context-based training. The main conclusion of this study is the need to strengthen teacher capacity philosophically and practically so that the Independent Curriculum can be implemented completely and sustainably. The implications of this study include the development of contextual training policies and the importance of creating a supporting ecosystem in madrasas. This study also opens up opportunities for further studies on teacher mentoring models based on learning communities.

This study is motivated by the limited comparative research between classical and modern Islamic scholars in understanding the concepts of muhkam and mutasyabih in the Qur’an, despite the fact that differing approaches to these concepts have significant implications for interpretative methodologies and the meaning of revelation in contemporary contexts. The aim of this study is to compare the interpretations of muhkam and mutasyabih according to Shaykh Manna’ Khalil Al-Qaththan and Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd. A descriptive qualitative method was employed using a library research approach, focusing on content analysis of the scholars’ key works—Mabahits fi ‘Ulum al-Qur’an by Al-Qaththan and Mafhum an-Nash by Abu Zayd. Data were collected through the review of journals, books, proceedings, and other relevant sources, and analyzed descriptively and analytically by comparing previous findings and synthesizing both thinkers’ perspectives. The results show that Al-Qaththan defines muhkam as verses that are clear, decisive, and foundational to Islamic legal rulings, while mutasyabih refers to ambiguous verses whose true meanings are known only to Allah. In contrast, Abu Zayd views muhkam and mutasyabih as symbols of textual dialectics that are inherently open to multiple interpretations, with meaning formed through the interaction between the text, the reader, and the socio-historical context. The main conclusion of this research is that an integrative understanding of muhkam and mutasyabih combines the theological firmness of Al-Qaththan’s classical perspective with the contextual interpretive flexibility of Abu Zayd. The implication of this study lies in its methodological contribution to the development of an integrative model of Qur’anic exegesis, enabling wise, relevant interpretations of the sacred text while maintaining the authority of revelation amid the dynamics of contemporary religious life.
