This research aims to respond to the complex challenges of the digital era, where students are not only required to develop scientific thinking skills but also to strengthen ethics and character as the primary basis for filtering information and acting wisely in cyberspace. Rapid technological developments are often not directly proportional to the mastery of moral literacy, so the application of Islamic ethical values is crucial to create a balance between intellectual intelligence and good morals. This research aims to examine how combining scientific thinking with Islamic ethics can strengthen students' character, while also identifying effective implementation approaches in contemporary learning environments. The method used is a literature study with descriptive qualitative analysis, involving the review of various literature sources related to scientific thinking, character education, and Islamic ethical principles. The results show that the collaboration between systematic, critical, and objective scientific thinking processes with Islamic ethical values such as honesty, responsibility, and politeness can shape students' mindsets and behaviors that are more moderate, responsible, and ethical in the use of technology. This integration also improves students' ability to carefully assess digital information, make appropriate moral decisions, and avoid deviations in cyberspace. In terms of implications, this research emphasizes the need to develop a curriculum and teaching strategies that structuredly combine cognitive and affective aspects, so that schools can produce a generation that is not only academically superior, but also has a strong, adaptive character and noble morals amidst the unstoppable wave of digital technology development.

Philosophy emerged as a movement seeking answers rationally and logically, which gradually developed into a field of science. This study aims to comprehensively and systematically examine and explain the pillars of the philosophy of science as the epistemological foundation for the positivism and post-positivism schools of thought. The method used is a literature review, chosen because the author focuses on an in-depth analysis of philosophical and theoretical concepts. The results of this study show that scientific knowledge is supported by three main pillars of the philosophy of science: Ontology, Epistemology, and Axiology. Within the methodological framework, Epistemology plays a central role in determining valid criteria for truth. This led to the emergence of positivism, which was subsequently criticized and modified into post-positivism. The objective is for scientific knowledge to be able to explain and predict phenomena, as well as provide valid benefits.

Penelitian ini berfokus pada penelusuran gagasan makna parenting dalam perspektif filsafat Pendidikan Islam, landasan filosofis parenting dalam pengembangan Pendidikan Islam, eksistensi dan bentuk parenting dalam konteks pengembangan Pendidikan Islam dan problematika yang muncul dan bagaimana solusi parenting dalam pengembangan Pendidikan. Metode penelitian studi kepustakaan dilakukan dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti buku-buku pendidikan Islam, dan jurnal akademik. Hasil Penelitian bahwa hakikat parenting dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan Islam merupakan bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan Islam yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai tauhid, akhlak, dan adab. Parenting tidak hanya dipahami sebagai proses sosial dalam mengasuh anak, tetapi juga sebagai proses filosofis dan spiritual yang berakar pada ajaran Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Eksistensi parenting menjadi pondasi utama bagi pembentukan insan kamil, yaitu manusia paripurna yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia. Namun, dalam realitas modern, problematika parenting semakin kompleks seiring berkembangnya era digital yang membawa tantangan baru bagi pendidikan anak. Solusi parenting Islami kontemporer perlu diarahkan pada penerapan digital parenting berbasis nilai Islam, yaitu pengasuhan yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, namun tetap berlandaskan pada prinsip tauhid, adab, dan tanggung jawab.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena yang terjadi pada saat ini yaitu kurangnya variasi guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran, terutama pada mata pelajaran PAI, sehingga perlu inovasi baru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Edpuzzle terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) kelas VII di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Jenis eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji independent sample t-test dan N-Gain Score untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,019 < 0,05, yang berarti H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan video interaktif Edpuzzle dengan yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis N-Gain Score menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor 0,61141, sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh skor 0,48997. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Edpuzzle terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran PAI kelas 7 di SMP

This study aims to analyze the implementation of moral values among Islamic boarding school students based on the thoughts of Burhanuddin al-Zarnuji as described in the book Ta'lim al- Muta'allim at the Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Padang. The type of research used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed in depth to describe the application of moral values in the lives of santri. The results of the study show that the process of moral character building at the Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School has been going well and reflects the main values in Ta'lim al-Muta'allim, such as respect for teachers, politeness, discipline, and manners towards knowledge and others. The main supporting factors for this success include the exemplary behavior of the teachers, the role of senior students, and a conducive and religious boarding school environment. However, the process of moral development still faces several obstacles, such as a lack of dormitory supervisors, limited facilities and infrastructure, and the influence of outside cultures that cannot be completely avoided. This study concludes that the character building of students at the Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School has shown positive results, but needs to be strengthened in terms of guidance and supervision so that moral values are not only understood conceptually, but are truly internalized in the behavior and character of the students.

Perkembangan wacana epistemologi modern menuntut pemetaan ulang prinsip metodologis yang mendasari pencarian kebenaran, baik dalam tradisi ilmu Barat maupun Islam. Perbedaan sumber, orientasi, dan batas validitas pengetahuan menimbulkan kebutuhan akan analisis komparatif dan integratif terhadap berbagai pendekatan epistemologis yang berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan konseptual antara prinsip verifikasi yang dikemukakan A.J. Ayer, falsifikasi Karl Popper, serta kerangka epistemologi bayani, burhani, dan irfani dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur yang bersumber dari artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional, buku filsafat ilmu, literatur klasik keislaman, serta publikasi akademik yang relevan dalam rentang tahun 2015–2025. Data diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi dengan menelusuri basis data ilmiah dan sumber pustaka tematik yang berkaitan dengan filsafat ilmu dan epistemologi Islam. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis isi dan analisis tematik yang mencakup proses reduksi data, kategorisasi konsep, sintesis argumentatif, serta interpretasi epistemologis secara komparatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip verifikasi dan falsifikasi memberikan fondasi empiris-rasional yang kuat bagi pengembangan sains modern, terutama dalam menegaskan keterujian dan sikap kritis terhadap teori ilmiah. Namun, kedua pendekatan tersebut memiliki keterbatasan karena belum mampu menjangkau dimensi normatif dan spiritual pengetahuan. Sebaliknya, epistemologi bayani, burhani, dan irfani menawarkan struktur metodologis yang lebih holistik dengan memadukan otoritas teks, rasionalitas demonstratif, dan pengalaman spiritual. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi dialogis antara kelima pendekatan tersebut berpotensi memperkaya khazanah filsafat ilmu kontemporer serta membuka ruang bagi pengembangan metodologi keilmuan yang lebih komprehensif, seimbang dan bernilai etis.

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in fostering and strengthening attitudes of tolerance among students of different religious backgrounds within the school environment. The method used is a literature study. The research findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education plays a significant role in shaping tolerant attitudes in schools. IRE teachers act as role models as well as educators who convey the values of tolerance to students.The implementation of tolerance values within the school reflects the diversity of the surrounding community and highlights the importance of education in instilling mutual respect among followers of different religions. Therefore, this study recommends that the Islamic Religious Education curriculum be further strengthened to cultivate a young generation that values tolerance and lives in harmony.In addition, support from parents and the wider community is essential in creating inclusive religious education that prioritizes tolerance values. Thus, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more meaningful religious education with a positive impact on the social life of the community.

This article explores the methodological foundations within Islamic scholarship through the bayani, burhani, and irfani approaches, which serve as three essential epistemological models for interpreting and advancing Islamic knowledge, aiming to clarify their distinct characteristics and evaluate their significance in contemporary academic contexts. The study adopts a library research method by reviewing and analyzing a wide range of classical and modern literature concerning Islamic epistemology. The results indicate that the bayani approach centers on textual authority and linguistic principles, the burhani approach emphasizes logical reasoning and rational justification, while the irfani approach highlights spiritual insight and inner experience; each model possesses its own strengths and limitations when applied independently but contributes to a more comprehensive understanding when used complementarily. The study concludes that these methodological principles enrich the intellectual heritage of Islamic sciences and offer a more coherent epistemological groundwork for developing integrative, contextually relevant, and responsive knowledge suited to present-day challenges.

The rapid development of science in the contemporary era demands a deep understanding of its philosophical foundations. This article aims to examine the foundations of scientific development from the perspective of the philosophy of science by analyzing its ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review of classical and contemporary philosophy of science texts. The results of the study indicate that the ontological foundation provides an understanding of the nature of the reality studied by science, the epistemological foundation governs the way to acquire valid knowledge, while the axiological foundation determines the values and objectives of scientific development. These three foundations are interconnected and form a comprehensive framework for the responsible development of science. This research reveals that the integration of these three philosophical dimensions is essential to produce knowledge that is not only methodologically valid but also socially and ethically meaningful. The practical implication is the need for a holistic approach in scientific research that considers philosophical aspects alongside technical-methodological ones.

This study aims to explore the role of Integrated Islamic Schools as an alternative to prestigious schools chosen by parents in an effort to build children's character. Integrated Islamic Schools offer a holistic educational approach that integrates Islamic values with the national curriculum, thus providing a balance between knowledge and character building. The main objective of Integrated Islamic Schools is to provide education that not only focuses on academic aspects, but also on the character and moral formation of students. Through a qualitative approach, this study examines parents' views on the effectiveness of Integrated Islamic Schools in educating their children. The results show that parents choose Integrated Islamic Schools because these schools are able to fulfill their expectations of education that not only focuses on academic achievement, but also on the development of children's character. A conducive school environment, the role of competent and dedicated teachers, and diverse extracurricular programs are supporting factors in character building. Integrated Islamic schools are also considered capable of creating an Islamic learning atmosphere and supporting children's moral development. The conclusion of this study is that Integrated Islamic Schools are the right choice for parents who want high-quality education that includes academic and moral aspects, and play an important role in shaping a young generation with noble character and achievements.
