Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk dapat mengungkap masalah, sehingga dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan baru. Untuk mengungkap permasalah secara ilmiah dengan cara yang benar dan memiliki bukti yang dapat memperkuat hasil dari penelitian tentunya dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data. Penelitian kualitatif salah satu penelitian yang berfokus pada penelitian terkait sosial, fenomena dan penelitian yang menitik beratkan pada penjelasan secara deskriptif atau memberikan gambaran. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode literatur review seperti mengkaji buku, dan jurnal. Peneliti juga menggunakan hasil analisis deksriptif dalam membahas hasil temuan. Terdapat lima metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian kualitatif yang biasa digunakan adalah yaitu wawancara/interview, observasi, dokuemntasi atau analisis dokumen, fokus group discossion atau diskusi kelompok, serta longitudinal research dan scross sectional. Untuk mevalidasi dan meningkatkan kepercayaan dalam hasil penelitian kualitatif dapat digunakan metode triangulasi atau metode pengumpulan data yang menggunakan lebih dari satu metode

Abstract

Bimbingan karir di sekolah bertujuan untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami diri sendiri, lingkungan, dan perencanaan masa depan, termasuk bagi siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus seperti tunagrahita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan bimbingan karir bagi siswa tunagrahita di SMA Negeri 1 Menganti. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan lima subjek yang dipilih berdasarkan rekomendasi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan karir membantu siswa tunagrahita dalam mengembangkan keterampilan dasar serta mengenali potensi diri. Siswa tunagrahita mampu mendeskripsikan keterampilan pribadi dan memiliki aspirasi karir seperti menjadi guru, polisi, dokter, psikiater, dan pengusaha. Program bimbingan karir yang diterapkan berperan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang dunia kerja dan kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Dengan bimbingan yang tepat, siswa tunagrahita dapat mengembangkan keterampilan hidup dan memiliki prospek karir yang lebih baik

Abstract

Organizational behavior and public relations (PR) play important roles in improving the performance and image of educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between organizational and human behavior in supporting the effectiveness of school marketing. The literature study method used a qualitative approach, and relevant data was obtained from various literature, such as books, journals, and scientific articles that discuss related topics. The study results indicate that organizational behavior characterized by effective collaboration, open communication, and transparent culture can improve human resource performance, which in turn helps build a positive image of educational institutions. In addition, the role of transformational leadership in creating an innovative and inspiring work environment has been shown to impact the effectiveness of marketing strategies significantly. This study also identifies the importance of using social media as one of the main tools in school marketing strategies. Through structured public relations management, social media promotes and builds strong relationships between schools, the community, and the external public. This strategy effectively attracts prospective students while strengthening educational institutions' reputation in the public's eyes. Thus, adaptive organizational behavior and innovative public relations communication strategies make a major contribution to supporting the achievement of school marketing goals. In conclusion, the synergy between good organizational behavior and the role of effective public relations can create competitive advantages for educational institutions amidst increasingly tight competition in the education sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership strategies of school principals in fostering teachers' handarbeni (sense of ownership) in two early childhood education institutions: TK Ananda and TK Al Muttaqin in Driyorejo. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that principals who apply transformational leadership principles—idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—successfully enhance teachers' emotional engagement and sense of responsibility. Despite challenges such as resource limitations and teacher resistance, these strategies effectively build collaborative and productive work cultures. These results contribute to the development of leadership practices in education to improve school quality.

Abstract

Student Management in Improving Academic Achievement in Full Day Schools (A Multi-Site Study at YIMI Gresik Junior High School and Muhammadiyah 12 Gresik Junior High School). Master’s Program in Educational Management, Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya. Advisors: (I) Prof. Dr. Mochamad Nursalim, M.Si. and (II) Dr. Ayu Wulandari, S.Pd., M.Pd. Knezevich (1961) defines student management or pupil personnel administration as a service that focuses on the arrangement, supervision and service of students in class and outside the class such as introduction, registration, individual services such as overall development of abilities, interests, needs until they mature in school. This study focuses on how student management improves academic achievement in full day schools at SMP YIMI Gresik and SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Gresik. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method (Bogdan & Biklen, 1982)), with student management that includes planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating the results of learning implementation appropriately, and the results increase according to the expected target. The data sources for this study are principal, curriculum vice principal, student affairs vice principal, teachers, students, and relevant documents. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity check with triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of the study indicate that: student management is well managed by the principal in organizing the initial planning of the KBM SK, additional task SK, achievement coaching SK, teacher training can be implemented to improve competence, learning well, and the principal evaluates teacher performance, learning outcomes, and student academic achievement results, students increase, students are more enthusiastic about learning, students can learn happily and comfortably, the average knowledge score of class IX report cards increase, and academic achievement (academic competitions) also increases at the Regency, Provincial, National and International levels. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at UPT SMPN 33 Gresik based on Edward III's policy implementation theory, which includes four main elements: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies, which were analyzed using Creswell's model. The results showed that the implementation of P5 in UPT SMPN 33 Gresik has gone well in the aspects of communication, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Teachers and principals showed high enthusiasm and commitment in implementing P5, while systematic implementation procedures and project modules designed by the facilitator team became important guidelines in implementing the program. However, challenges were found in the resource aspect, such as limited supporting facilities for eco-print projects and the need for additional training for teachers, especially regarding project-based assessment. This study recommends increasing continuous training for teachers, procuring adequate supporting facilities, and strengthening collective reflection as part of ongoing evaluation. By paying attention to the four elements of Edward III's theory, the implementation of P5 is expected to run more optimally and have a significant impact on student character building according to the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. Abstract

Siswa Sekolah Dasar berada pada tahap perkembangan kognitif yang pesat dan memerlukan stimulasi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas Brain Games dan Brain Gym dalam mengoptimalkan perhatian dan penalaran abstrak siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kajian Literatur (Literature Review). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Brain Games lebih unggul dalam melatih aspek kognitif spesifik seperti working memory dan kecepatan pemrosesan informasi, sementara Brain Gym lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan perhatian, koordinasi motorik, dan kesiapan belajar. Integrasi kedua metode tersebut dapat memberikan dampak yang sinergis dalam upaya mengoptimalisasikan fungsi kognitif siswa Sekolah Dasar, khususnya dalam hal perhatian dan penalaran abstrak. Sekolah disarankan untuk mengadopsi kedua metode ini, dengan menyesuaikan pada kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa, demi memaksimalkan perkembangan kognitif, khususnya perhatian dan penalaran abstrak.

Abstract

Lack of awareness of the importance of psychological well-being makes individuals decide to take negative actions that will harm themselves and cannot achieve happiness. Psychological well-being is one indicator of achieving individual happiness. When individuals are able to achieve happiness, their life needs will also be fulfilled. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the level of psychological well-being in high school students in Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach using a survey design. The subjects in this research were 191 high school students in grades X, XI and XII, using a random sampling method. The data collection method uses a closed questionnaire. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire based on Ryff's scales of Psychological well-being theory to measure the level of psychological well-being with a validity level of 0.659 and an r value of 0.655. Data analysis uses descriptive quantitative analysis. The results obtained after the analysis were carried out were that 70.2% of students were in the medium category, so the majority of students had psychological well-being scores that were in the medium category.

Abstract

Human memory has a large capacity and unlimited capabilities. Humans use memory to store information important for survival. Mnemonics is a strategy to improve memory performance by encoding information with associations between new information and previously learned information in long-term memory. This research uses a qualitative research method, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) model with the PRISMA approach with stages Identification, Screening, Eligibility, Included. Identification of literature review data was taken from publish or perish, Google Scholar, Researchgate, and ScienceDirect and 141 articles were obtained which were searched based on keywords, then in second selection they were selected based on more sensitive issues and 19 learning articles were obtained using mnemonic strategies. In the 3rd stage of selection, a study was carried out on the methodology and research results by 2 reviewers so that appropriate articles were obtained and in accordance with the SLR protocol. There were 5 relevant articles containing the issue of neuropsychological studies of learning with memory strategies that can be applied to education in elementary schools. From the results of the analysis, it was found that mnemonics are a fun learning approach strategy with a high success rate and are able to strengthen retention in long-term memory. Menmonic also improves memory performance in the part of the brain Pre Frontal Cortex.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a global movement that emerged in response to the exclusion of learners who are viewed as different by the education system. Countries that hold the consensus to implement inclusive education have structured their legislation to ensure the implementation of inclusive education. However, the practice in schools may not live up to the rhetoric. The purpose of this study is to describe policy implementation in some developing countries. This research focuses on the implementation of inclusive education policies in developing countries. Developing countries are considered to be lacking in implementing inclusive education policies. In addition, developing countries often adopt policies from developed countries that are not in accordance with the characteristics of their countries. This research uses a literature study of journals related to the implementation of inclusive education in developing countries. The results show that the state that holds the consensus in the implementation of inclusive education has guaranteed the implementation of inclusive education in the constitution. The implementation of inclusive education experiences several obstacles related to accessibility, lack of accompanying teachers, poor acceptance by school community members and less than optimal funding. Constitutionally, the state has guaranteed the implementation of inclusive education, but in its implementation there are still several challenges that result in the achievement of the objectives of organizing inclusive education is not optimal. Therefore, the government needs to be consistent in implementing inclusive education policies, so that the achievement of inclusive education goals can be achieved.
