The research method used was a survey. The population in this study were MAN 3 Jakarta students with an affordable population of IIS and MIA 11th grade students totaling 150 students. The sampling technique was the Proportional Random Sampling with 105 respondents. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Based on the analysis of the requirements test, the data was normally distributed and had a linear relationship. The regression equation obtained is Ý = 23.908 - 0.430 X1 + 0.648 X2. Based on the test coefficient of determination, economic literacy and conformity have an effect on consumers by 29%. The lack of students’ understanding of basic economic concepts such as the difficulty of students managing their finances because they prioritize their wants rather than needs. Students who often spend time with their friends and easily influenced by their friends and have low economic knowledge and understanding, will tend to be easier to have a high level of consumer behaviour. Conclusion of the research stated there was negative influence of economics literacy to the consumptive behaviour on MAN students, meanwhile the conformity has a significant positive effect on that.

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that the majority of teachers tend to be receptive towards translanguaging practices (Khairunnisa Lukmana, 2020; McMillan Rivers, 2011; Nambisan, 2014; Yuvayapan, 2019). However, in Indonesian context, there are relatively few studies in this field employing a case study design to reveal more detailed information. This study was aimed at investigating teachers' attitudes towards translanguaging practices and how the practices took place. The participants were four English teachers from two private junior high schools located in East Nusa Tenggara and Central Java, Indonesia. The data were collected by using questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and observations. The analysis reveals that all participants implemented translanguaging in several typical situations in their EFL classrooms. Despite participants' various feelings towards translanguaging, they still use translanguaging in their teaching and associated translanguaging with positive attributes. Moreover, the majority of teacher participants had positive intentions towards translanguaging in their future class. These findings shed light on a multilingual pedagogical practices and further research directions.

Abstract

Flipped learning has developed a particular approach that facilitates the students to acquire new knowledge outside the classroom. In this digital era, it grows as technology does. MALL (Mobile Assisted Language Learning) has a vital role in supporting English language teaching implementation. It has several applications, which can be a tool to teach English. One of the applications is using Social Networking Sites (SNSs), which the students have a high interest in using it in daily life. The research is a case study that aims to investigate the students' perception of flipped learning through Social Networking Sites (SNSs) to develop their writing ability. The participants of the research are 30 English department students in the second semester. There are ten men and 20 women in the class. The data collection was from an interview and a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionnaire. This research indicates that the students have more ideas to write, and they can collaborate with their friends in writing through Social Networking Sites (SNSs). The result shows that the flipped classroom's implementation through SNSs is an alternative way for teachers to facilitate the learning of EFL writing in this digital era.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low level of community participation in the implementation of National Urban Community Empowerment Program (NUCEP) in Grobogan Regency. This can be seen from the lack of community involvement in the entire process of the activity stage. The purpose of this study was to find out how the level of community participation in the implementation of NUCEP in Grobogan Regency. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis used qualitative and tirangulasi data analysis techniques. The evaluation model used is the Context, Input, Process and Product. The evaluation results show that the implementation of NUCEP is good, the context of the implementation of NUCEP is good, the input of NUCEP is good, but the available funds are insufficient to meet community needs; the implementation process went well, at the stage of preparation for less community participation especially in the FGD on Reflections on Poverty and the Preparation of Medium-Term Planning for Poverty Reduction Programs; then the implementation of the activities went well and the products of the NUCEP activities in the form of physical activities benefited the community. Based on the evaluation results it is recommended that, the effectiveness of NUCEP  needs to be increased, the NUCEP District apparatus must be more democratic and participatory in the implementation of planned programs. Community involvement must always be encouraged in all processes and stages of activities, starting from planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and in the preparation of reporting for each activity.

Abstract

Indonesia’s human quality is relatively low. Based on the 2017 Human Development Report, the number of the Indonesian Human Development Index (HDI) or Human Development Index (HDI) is 70.81. In detail, the index number is a composite of life expectancy at birth of 70.90 years, Number of Expectations for School Length 12.72 Years, Average School Length 7.95 years, and expenditure per capita Rp. 10,420,000, -. The aim of this paper is analyzing poverty reduction efforts in Grobogan Regency in 2018. Has poverty allieviation been carried out by the Government of Grobogan Regency already taken into account the interests and needs of men and women proportionally? Based on the analysis above, it can be concluded that poverty reduction in Grobogan District has not maximally taken into account the interests of women and men proportionally. In the economic field, women’s ability to access capital has not run smoothly, because some savings and loan businesses managed by women have not run smoothly. In the field of education, women still lag behind men in indicators of long-term school expectations. Likewise the condition of women’s education is still lagging behind that of men, which has an impact on the opportunity to get decent income. Women’s income is lower than that of men. In the field of health and clean water women are still vulnerable to maternal mortality and environmental hygiene.

Abstract

Profitability and liquidity are among the critical issues that must be studied and considered by the management of every organisation as their foremost task. This research aims to analyse the bidirectional dynamics of profitability ratios and liquidity ratios over time. This research also aims to present forecasted values of profitability and liquidity for the next five years. The data used in this study are obtained from the food industry company’s annual reports for the period 2011-2022. This research adopts a predator-prey model containing a pair of non-linear differential equations to describe the interaction between two species. The results show that the predator-prey model can explain the bidirectional dynamics of profitability ratios and liquidity ratios with high accuracy. Besides, this study indicates that the type of relationship between profitability and liquidity is predator-prey. The forecasting results show that for 2023-2027, both profitability and liquidity tend to decrease. Based on the data, the company’s profitability and liquidity dynamics periodically fluctuate over time. This fluctuation indicates a positive sign for company’s profitability and liquidity are in good condition. In the future, company has to take preventive measures to continue stabilising its profitability and liquidity.
