Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of excellence-based furudhul ainiyah through the ASSURE approach to make learning effective at the Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school. Research subjects use a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Research data was obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out in stages, starting with presenting, reducing, and drawing conclusions. The study results show that the ASSURE approach used by teachers in teaching furudul ainiyah material can create effective, efficient, and meaningful learning conditions. This is because the teacher pays attention to and follows the learning design that has been outlined. This research provides implications about the importance of learning design that must be carried out by all teachers to realize learning objectives optimally.

Abstract

To create good learning achievement, it is necessary to pay attention to several factors, one of which is the method used. Mnemonic learning aims to make it easier for young children to master tajwid material. This study aims to determine the level of learning achievement of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Mikhrajul Ulum Jambearum Sumberjambe Jember students. The research approach used is a qualitative type of case study. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis was carried out circularly, starting from data collection, reduction, data display and conclusion. The study results showed that it became easier for students to master Tajweed material without feeling pressured and bored because, in practice, the teacher used songs, acronyms, and mind mapping in learning Tajweed material. Learning that takes place is very enjoyable. As for its application, the teacher's creativity is needed in developing methods (singing, acronyms, concept maps) that are appropriate to the learning material so that students can more easily master and remember the material and feel happy and not burdened in learning

Abstract

This study presents the strengthening of santri receptive skills through the mastery learning approach of al-Quran learning in pesantren. Receptive skills as competencies that must be possessed by santri related to listening and reading skills of the Qur'an must be possessed by every person santri. Therefore a mastery learning approach is needed in realizing the skills of these students. This study uses qualitative with a case study. This research site is Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo, East Java. The results showed that the mastery learning approach in strengthening students' receptive skills of the Qur'anic learning in Nurul Jadid was carried out through several stages of learning carried out through four stages; that are; (1) orientation, (2) perception, (3) presentation, and (4) evaluation. Based on this study, an answer was found that the mastery learning approach was able to strengthen the santri's receptive skills to reading the Qur'an goodly and correct, understanding of the rules of tajwid, and more importantly, the santri is able to continue at the next level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine "Building a Positive Image of the School Through the Tahfidzul Qur'an Program in the Perspective of Cultural Communication" using a qualitative with case study. At SMPN 1 Kotaanyar, researchers observed, interviewed, and documented. Islamic society, in general, with different races and ethnicities, has the same goal: to want their sons and daughters to continue studying and deepen their knowledge of the Qur'an. Thus SMPN 1 Kotaanyar provides a program of tahfidzul Qur'an in order to build a positive image of the school from this perspective. Cultural communication. Based on research conducted at SMPN 1 Kotaanyar through the tahfidzul Qur'an program, which was carried out to build a positive image of the school from a cultural communication perspective by making an attractive logo as a brand, promoting the institution through the availability of social media, and increasing the value of students and perspective alums quality and Qur'anic soul.

Abstract

This study analyses the learning process of student leadership in Islamic boarding schools through organizational empowerment. This research was conducted at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo, with a qualitative approach through case studies. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out in a structured and systematic manner, starting from data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The study results show that the learning process of learning student leadership is carried out through five stages: direction, training, assignment, escort, and approach. This leadership study shows that the organization's cadre system can run well and create good leaders who can carry out the mandate and carry out their duties properly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of self-regulated learning as a strategy to build student independence by using several approaches to improve students' independent learning abilities in tertiary institutions. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Data were obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted: collection, reduction, data display, and concluding. The results of the study show that self-regulated learning as a strategy for building student independence shows findings of varied approaches, namely, community-based learning, where learning involves student participation starting from planning, implementation and evaluation, e-resource management which directs students to be independent in finding information and learning resources through various electronic sources, and motivation to learn in order to achieve the targets to be achieved.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka yang mengungkap tentang bagaimana cara mendidik dan mempersiapkan anak di era tekhnologi digital. Era digital merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi orang tua dalam mendidik putra putrinya, sehingga harus pandai dalam memanfaatkan perkembangan tekhnologi untuk pendidikan putra-putrinya. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa salah satu alternatif pendekatan untuk mendidik anak di era tekhnologi digital ini adalah smart techno parenting. Pendekatan pendidikan ini menegaskan pentingnya untuk: 1) Mengkolaborasikan kemajuan teknologi dengan pendidikan anak, 2) Melek literasi informasi teknologi, 3) Membatasi waktu pemakaian produk tekhnologi digital, 4) Optimalisasi aktivitas positif, 5) Selektif memilih media untuk anak, 6) Monitoring lingkungan, baik di dunia maya maupun di sekitarnya. Abstrak This research is a literature review that reveals how to educate and prepare children in the era of digital technology. The digital age is a challenge for parents in educating their sons and daughters, so they must be clever in utilizing technological developments for the education of their children. The results of this study confirm that one alternative approach to educating children in the era of digital technology is smart techno parenting. This educational approach emphasizes the importance of: 1) Collaborating on technological progress with children's education, 2) Literacy literacy of information technology, 3) Limiting the time to use digital technology products, 4) Optimizing positive activities, 5) Selectively in choosing media for children, 6) Environmental monitoring, and both in cyberspace and around them.

Abstract

This article discusses quality improvement in increasing public trust in MI Ihyauddiniyah. This study used a qualitative case study approach, with the research subjects consisting of the school principal and several deputy heads. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. This research focuses on describing quality improvement in increasing public trust using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method of researchers at MI Ihyauddiniyah. The research data was obtained through interviews and observation, and documentation. In the next stage, the researcher checked the validity of the data, which was carried out by extending participation, persistence in observation, triangulation, and questionnaires to parents of students. To get more accurate and accountable results, the researchers interviewed the deputy head of student affairs, deputy head of infrastructure, and teachers at MI Ihyauddiniyah. The results showed that quality improvement using the FMEA method increased public trust. The FMEA measurement process is focused on three main things, which are the main components in the management process of educational institutions. The three components are a quality assurance system for teaching staff, a quality assurance system for learning facilities and infrastructure, and increasing support from the community, through this process.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism plays an essential role in educational institutions. Therefore, appropriate management is needed to realize the teacher's professional performance as expected. This study aims to analyze career management in building the teacher's professional performance in early childhood education institutions. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. Case study qualitative research was chosen to answer and explain the phenomenon of career management that has been carried out by finding more appropriate ways today. Data was obtained using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The study results show that there are four points carried out by institutions in building teacher professional performance, including; Internal and external analysis, strengthening work commitment, good competence, and continuous evaluation. Career management is the main ingredient that needs to be developed by educational institutions in fostering a professional attitude towards their performance so that the desired goals can be realized optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse and understand the risk mitigation of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) through parental involvement in early childhood learning activities. It employs a qualitative approach within a case study research design. The research locations cover  (1) Al-Iman Islamic Kindergarten, (2) Irtiqoiyah Islamic Kindergarten, and (3) Masyitoh Islamic Kindergarten, Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia. The results show that these kindergartens apply the same method in learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. They use  familiar and straightforward electronic media that actively involve parents in student learning enhancement. Apart from this, the parental-involvement strategy incorporates two-way communication between teachers and parents of students, which opens opportunities to solve  student learning problems. The findings of this study are collaborative parenting in making learning activities effective in schools. This research has implications for the importance of the cooperation of parents and teachers in making learning effective to achieve the specified goals.
