Abstract

The more sophisticated the technology for disseminating information, the faster the flow of information will reach the public. People nowadays are fond of Korean culture thanks to information procurement access and speed. Companies are following the trend and using Korean celebrities as their brand ambassadors; Everwhite, an Indonesian skincare company, is one of them. The objective of this explanatory research is to identify the effect of brand ambassador on the purchase intention of Everwhite consumers with the mediation of brand image. Using non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique, 100 people who know about Kim Seon Ho and Everwhite were selected as the sample. The results of the data analysis in SPSS 26 have led to findings that brand ambassador has a positive and significant effect on brand image and purchase intention, that brand image positively and significantly influences purchase intention, and that brand image does not mediate the effect of brand ambassador on purchase intention. The results of this study are effective in increasing buying interest from potential Everwhite consumers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of service quality on the repeat purchase made by the customers of Superindo branch of Tlogomas in Malang city with promotion as the moderator. This research is categorized as explanatory research as it observes the quality of variables that explain certain phenomena, as well as explain or prove the relationships or influences between variables. Using non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique, a number of 160 people were selected as the respondents. The population in this study are consumers of Superindo Tlogomas Branch who have made purchases at least 2 times. The location of this research is Superindo Tlogomas Branch which is located on Jl. Raya Tlogomas No. 5a District Lowokwaru. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS 20. This study finds that service quality has positive and significant effects on repeat purchase, that service quality and promotion positively affect repeat purchase, and that promotion fully moderates the relationship between service quality and repeat purchase.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the roles of marketing mix in improving the competitiveness of Baswara Project, a company providing graduation photography service. Marketing mix applied in a service company is different from the one applied in manufacturing companies that is the 7Ps. This qualitative descriptive research uses primary and secondary data. The primary one was harvested from documentations, observations, and interviews with the founders and five users of Baswara Project, while the secondary was acquired from documents and library research on scientific journals as well as from other relevant sources. The data analysis was conducted using triangulation. This study finds that, for Baswara Project to win the competition in its business area, each of its application of marketing mix needs to be enhanced. In the aspect of product and people, the company needs to improve its service and the professionalism of its photographers. In the aspect of promotion, upgrades in effectiveness are needed. Finally, in the aspect of place and physical evidence, the company’s operation site needs to be revamped. The results of this research are expected to be applied on company’s marketing policy.   Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penerapan bauran pemasaran atau marketing mix dalam meningkatkan daya saing jasa foto wisuda Baswara Project. Bauran pemasaran yang diterapkan dalam suatu perusahaan jasa berbeda dengan perusahaan manufaktur, yakni dengan 7P. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui kegiatan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi kepada founder dan lima orang pelanggan jasa graduation photography Baswara Project, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui dokumentasi, studi pustaka, jurnal ilmiah, serta sumber lain yang relevan. Proses analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan metode triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya beberapa temuan dalam penerapan tiap-tiap aspek marketing mix yang dapat dimaksimalkan Baswara Project dalam memenangkan persaingan pada industri jasa graduation photography. Pada aspek product dan people perlu adanya peningkatan dari segi layanan dan profesionalitas fotografer. Pada aspek promotion diperlukan perbaikan dari segi efektivitas promosi, sedangkan pada aspek place dan physical evidence diperlukan adanya peningkatan dari segi tempat beroperasinya Baswara Project. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu kebijakan pemasaran perusahaan.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the implementation of human resource performance management in increasing the service quality of the Islamic-compliant business unit of PT Bank Sinarmas in the branch office of Malang. This descriptive qualitative research uses primary and secondary data, which were harvested through interviews and documentation and validated using source triangulation, method triangulation, and theory triangulation. The research subjects are four employees as key informants and three customers as main informants. The data analysis was performed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research finds that the said business unit has well organized the four stages of performance management, i.e. planning/directing, monitoring, review evaluation/appraising, and reward & developing. The unit has also run the five quality of service, i.e. reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence. However, setbacks are still found in empathy and physical evidence, where customers were not satisfied with the unit’s telephone service and  ATM distribution.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the roles of Instagram in social media marketing, in creating brand awareness, and in improving marketing performance at Peminpin.id, a social startup. Operating in Jakarta, the startup operates in leadership ecosystem. The data of this descriptive qualitative research was harvested through interviews, observations, and documentation and was validated using triangulation. Through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, this study finds that Instagram that is used as social media marketing can create brand awareness to enhance the marketing performance of the startup. Furthermore, the enterprise needs strategies and consistencies in order to gain maximum outcome and to avoid failures in running their programs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of work training and work experience on employee performance with the work environment as a moderating variable at PT. North Sumatra Bank Medan Head Office. This type of research uses quantitative methods, with a sample of 219 employees, the data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 219 employees, and the statistical analysis technique used is the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis technique using Smartpls 4. From the research results This shows that job training on employee performance has a significant positive influence, work experience on employee performance has a significant positive influence, the work environment on employee performance has a significant positive influence, the work environment as a moderating variable on the influence of job training on employee performance is insignificantly negative and the environment work as a moderating variable on the influence of work experience on employee performance is positive and significant.

Abstract

This research aims to determine Work Discipline and Self-Efficacy on Work Performance with Work Motivation as a moderating variable at the North Sumatra Province Industry and Trade Service. This research uses smartpls 4 as an analytical tool to determine the variables studied and justify how significantly the influence of the independent and dependent variables strengthens or weakens them. In this research, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. In this study, the entire sample population was 155 employees at the North Sumatra Province Industry and Trade Department. The results of this research show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on work performance. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work performance. Work motivation has a significant positive effect on work performance, negative work motivation does not significantly moderate self-efficacy on work performance, positive work motivation significantly moderates work discipline on work performance

Abstract

In a nominee agreement on land ownership by foreigners in Indonesia, the objective requirement is a cause what is halal is not fulfilled, it will result in the agreement becomes null and void by law. It means from the beginning of an agreement and/or an agreement thought to have never been born/never existed. Article 1335 of the Civil Code states that a an agreement made under false pretenses or forbidden has no power. In this case, the agreement was deemed to have been void from the beginning because not all agreements made have binding force as law.

Abstract

Saat ini, mempekerjakan penyandang disabilitas semakin diakui sebagai bagian dari filosofi tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (CSR) dan merupakan dimensi penting dari keberagaman tenaga kerja. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai peran CSR dalam melindungi hak yang dimiliki oleh tenaga kerja penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian normatif.  Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah CSR meliputi pula hak asasi manusia yang mendasar yaitu hak mendapat pekerjaan, sehingga dengan adanya CSR para tenaga kerja penyandang disabilitas akan terlindungi haknya dan tidak akan mendapat diskriminasi di tempat kerja.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil perawatan ditemukan permasalahan pada lebar lidah rapat wesel elektrik tipe Siemens NSE pada saat melakukan tes ganjalan pada wesel jalur raya II dan III di Stasiun Cirebon dengan nomor wesel W2113A dan W2113B dimana kondisi stang pendeteksi tidak kokoh yang disebabkan oleh ring bosh pada lubang lidah rapat wesel yang tidak kuat sehinga menyebabkan kerusakan. Pada komponen ring bosh terdapat dua bahan yaitu ring bosh berbahan besi dan ring bosh berbahan teflon. Untuk mengetahui kekuatan masing-masing bahan ring bosh tersebut maka perlu dilakukan pengujian kekuatan dan tingkat ketahanan material ring bosh lidah rapat dari kedua bahan tersebut. Sehingga dengan pertimbangan karakteristik keunggulannya direkomendasikan penggunaan ring bosh lidah rapat berbahan material teflon pada wesel elektrik tipe Siemens NSE, sedangkan ring bosh berbahan besi untuk tidak digunakan kembali pada saat perawatan dan penggantian suku cadang ring bosh lidah rapat.
