Abstract

Regional Budget of Revenue and Expenditure Management in Jambi Province is not yet optimal, due to the inadequate ratio between direct and indirect expenditure. The purposes of this research are to: 1) examine the impact of District Own-Source Revenue and equalization fund 1individually towards local government financial performance on regency/city of Jambi Province 12016-2020; 2) examine the significance of District Own-Source Revenue and equalization fund impact simultaneously towards local government financial performance on regency/city of Jambi Province 12016-2020; dan 3) examine whether capital expenditures is capable to become the moderating variable 1between District Own-Source Revenue and equalization fund with local government financial performance on regency/city of Jambi Province 2016-2020. This research uses the type of causal research. The population of this research is regency/city government in Jambi Province which consists of 9 regencies and 2 cities. Data analysis technique that is used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The result indicates that: 1) individually District Own-Source Revenue gives positive and significant impact towards local government financial performance, meanwhile equalization fund gives negative and significant impact towards local government financial performance; 2) both District Own-Source Revenue and equalization Fund significantly impact local government financial performance; and 3) based on residual test results, it shows that capital expenditures is the only variable that is able to moderate the correlation between District Own-Source Revenue towards local government financial performance.

Abstract

The alarming violence against women (KBG) in Indonesia requires the role of civil society to prevent and overcome it. Women Crisis Center Nurani Perempuan is a civil society organization (NGO) that works specifically to protect women and children from various acts of gender-based violence in West Sumatra Province. However, NGOs as non-profit institutions have challenges in terms of limited resources. This requires NGOs to collaborate with multi-stakeholders so that the implementation of case handling can run effectively. Unfortunately, the efforts of NGOs in attracting the attention of stakeholders in order to collaborate are still poorly studied. Thus, the presence of this study aims to describe the social practices of Women's Conscience to build collaboration with stakeholders, through identifying the activities carried out and what habituses are owned by staff and volunteers of Women's Conscience which enables them to build collaboration with stakeholders in efforts to protect women victims of KBG in West Sumatra. This research uses Bourdieu's theory and qualitative research methods. The results of this research show that there are five areas that are the focus of Women's Conscience in seeking to build collaboration, namely the provincial government, city government, police, community domain and the realm of providing and servicing safe houses. Activities to build collaboration in this domain are generally carried out through advocacy activities by analyzing opportunities owned by stakeholders, conducting face-to-face meetings and participating in multistakeholder discussions, and fulfilling all series of administrative requirements in the realm of government. The habitus of staff and volunteers also affects stakeholder involvement, such as having a high volunteer spirit, upholding accountability and always being committed as friends of women who are victims of KBG in West Sumatra. Staff and volunteers utilize network capital, which enables Nurani Perempuan to collaborate with stakeholders in the protection of women victims of KBG in West Sumatra.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on students' problems in reading comprehension, such as some students had lack of vocabulary, a view students had difficulty to find out the information according to the text they learn and the students can not comprehend the words meaning appropriately. The main focus of this study was to investigate the effect of using Interactive Media on students’ reading comprehension in recount text at 8th Grade SMPN 1 Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan.The research design was pre-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample of this research was eighth-grade students, totaling 30 students. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. In collecting data, the researcher uses a reading comprehension test to determine students' reading comprehension. In analyzing the data, the researcher used the paired sample t-test formula which was calculated using the SPSS version 28 application. The results of the data analysis showed that the significance value is lower than the significance level (0.098. < 0.05 and for effect size score was 0.77 using eta squared formula which indicated the interactive media has large effect. ). It means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in students' reading comprehension before and after being taught by interactive media.

Abstract

Perkembangan yang terus berubah menuntut pentingnya informasi dalam komunikasi. Sistem informasi menggabungkan teknologi informasi dan aktivitas pengguna untuk mendukung operasi dan manajemen. Kantor Desa Cukanggalih menghadapi kendala penginputan data yang memakan waktu lama karena banyaknya aset (tanah, bangunan, barang habis pakai, alat tulis kantor, kendaraan, dll). Penyimpanan laporan yang tidak tersistem sering menyebabkan kehilangan data, ketidaksesuaian laporan aset dengan pemerintah daerah, dan kehilangan aset akibat kurangnya informasi peminjaman. Hal ini menyulitkan pegawai dalam membuat laporan aset dan menyebabkan kerugian. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti merancang "Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aset" menggunakan metode UML dan pengembangan sistem SDLC model waterfall dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sistem manajemen aset yang efektif untuk pengelolaan dan pelaporan aset.

Abstract

Sungkai (Peronema canescens Jack) is the traditional medicinal plants used in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of secondary metabolites, total phenolic content and test the antibacterial and antifungal activity of Sungkai plant leaf extract. Extraction was carried out by gradual maceration using 3 solvents with different polarity, starting from hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol. The results showed that the phytochemical profile of Sungkai leaves contained flavonoids, phenolics, saponins, triterpenoids, steroids and alkaloids. In the total phenolic test using the Folin-Ciocalteau method. The highest total phenolic content was found in the methanol extract of 195.8 mgGAE/g sample for the Padang City. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of Sungkai leaf extract were tested using the Well diffusion method. The largest diameter of the clear zone on antibacterial activity was produced in the ethyl acetate extract of the Kab. Agam with a concentration of 50% is 7 mm in Escherichia coli bacteria and 5.6 mm in Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The highest antifungal activity against Candida albicans was produced in the ethyl acetate extract of the Padang City area of ​​6.4 mm. The ability of the extract activity is still much lower when compared to the positive control

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how revenues from the tourism and trade sectors affect local original income in the North Aceh Regency. Time series data were used in this study. Between the years 2000 and 2023, the study was carried out in the North Aceh Regency. Multiple linear regression analysis was used for the data analysis. The preliminary findings indicate that revenues from the tourism industry have no effect on the initial regional income of the North Aceh Regency. Revenues from the trade sector have a positive and significant impact on the initial regional income of the North Aceh Regency. The North Aceh Regency's local income is positively and significantly impacted simultaneously by tourism and trade sector revenues..

Abstract

Earnings quality is one of the many factors used by investors as a basis for making investment activity decisions. Good quality company profits are profits that can reflect the company's real or actual financial condition. Several financial ratios can influence the high or low quality of a company's profits. This research aims to test whether liquidity, leverage and institutional ownership structure have an influence on the profit quality of mining sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2021-2022. The population and sample for this study were selected based on purposive sampling of 28 companies. The data collected is secondary data using documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research state that liquidity, leverage, and ownership structure partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the quality of company profits.

Abstract

Abstract This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach that is closely related to E-Catalog and its role in developing tourism in Indonesia. The data used in this article are secondary data that researchers obtain from scientific articles, books, scientific magazines, and a number of other sources related to this topic. The data are collected, selected, and analyzed using the SWOT analysis method which is explained in the following sections. The result in this article show that E-Catalog has many benefits in developing tourism in Indonesia, especially if E-Catalog can go hand in hand with existing technological advances. The benefits in question are that it can increase the quantity of visitors, the finances of tourist attractions, and so on. In contrast to the points mentioned above, the implementation of E-Catalog also has a number of weaknesses and threats, namely, uneven Human Resources, programs that are not running, and capital losses. Abstract

Proyek Peningkatan Kapasitas Jalan Padang Bypass yang dimulai tahun 2014 mendapat resistensi dari warga yang menguasai area yang akan dijadikan objek pelebaran jalan. Dalam upaya menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, Pemerintah Kota Padang membentuk Tim Penyelesaian Masalah Lahan Pembangunan Jalur II Jalan Padang ByPass. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis komunikasi yang digunakan oleh Tim serta tingkat keberhasilannya. Dari hasil wawancara mendalam kepada informan pengamat dan informan pelaku diketahui bahwa Tim melakukan pendekatan tidak hanya secara formal melalui sosialisasi dan musyawarah, namun juga secara informal melalui pendekatan komunikasi antarpribadi berupa kunjungan ke rumah warga dan pendekatan penyelesaian kasus per kasus. Meskipun proses komunikasi tersebut diganggu oleh persepsi-persepsi negatif berupa kebohongan, kecurigaan, kesimpangsiuran informasi, ketidakpatuhan terhadap konsensus, serta adanya pengaruh dari kelompok kecil dan pemaksaan kehendak, namun secara umum komunikasi antarpribadi yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kota Padang dapat mencapai hasil yang baik. Hal ini terlihat dari percepatan menurunnya jumlah lahan yang bermasalah setelah terbentuknya Tim. Namun demikian disadari bahwa penerapan teori-teori komunikasi antarpribadi seperti teori akomodasi komunikasi dan teori pertukaran sosial juga dapat memperlambat proses negosiasi jika tidak dapat dijalankan secara efektif.

Abstract

Penerapan standar bangunan tahan gempa menjadi faktor penting dalam upaya pengurangan risiko bencana di daerah rawan gempa seperti Sumatera Barat. Penerapan tersebut tidak hanya pada saat konstruksi saja tapi juga sudah harus dimulai sejak tahap perencanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana perencanaan teknis bangunan di Sumatera Barat mematuhi standar bangunan tahan gempa yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah dengan melakukan penghitungan ulang beberapa dokumen perencanaan bangunan publik yang dibuat dalam 10 tahun terakhir dan membandingkannya dengan standar Pedoman Teknis Rumah dan Bangunan Gedung Tahan Gempa dari Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa tingkat pemenuhan standar perencanaan bangunan tahan gempa di Sumatera Barat hanya berada di kisaran angka 40,54 sampai 62,16 persen saja. Meskipun secara umum perencanaan-perencanaan tersebut telah memenuhi standar jarak dan diameter sengkang, namun panjang tekukan, panjang penyaluran pembesian, luas tulangan tekan minimum dan luas tulangan tarik minimum tidak terpenuhi. Hal ini sekaligus dapat mengindikasikan bahwa pengalaman gempa besar Padang tahun 2009 yang diikuti oleh kampanye pemerintah tentang bangunan ramah gempa tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan bagi penerapan standar bangunan tahan gempa dalam perencanaan teknis bangunan gedung di Sumatera Barat.
