Abstract

Premarital counseling programs play a pivotal role in fostering the development of quality families and preventing stunting at its roots. However, the implementation of these programs faces significant challenges, including low community engagement, insufficient cross-sector synergy, and limited service innovation. This study aims to investigate the influence of cross-sector collaboration, organizational commitment, and service innovation on the effectiveness of premarital counseling programs, with community participation acting as a mediating variable. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a survey administered to prospective couples undergoing premarital counseling conducted by relevant officers in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-Partial Least Squares (PLS) to assess the interrelationships among the variables. The findings indicate that cross-sector collaboration, organizational commitment, and service innovation significantly enhance community participation and, consequently, the effectiveness of premarital counseling programs. Furthermore, community participation was found to significantly mediate the relationship between the independent variables and program effectiveness, thereby amplifying their impact. This research contributes to the literature by advancing the understanding of the role of cross-sector collaboration, organizational commitment, and service innovation in public service delivery, and highlights the critical importance of strengthening community participation as a strategic approach to improving the effectiveness of premarital counseling programs in fostering quality families

Abstract

The café business in Medan is rapidly growing, but increasing competition demands greater innovation in attracting consumers. Warkop & Fresh Milk Kakilima has experienced a decline in sales from 2021 to 2025, indicating a decrease in consumer purchase decisions. This is suspected to be influenced by suboptimal servicescape, content marketing, and experiential marketing, as supported by pre-survey results showing consumer dissatisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of these three variables on consumer purchase decisions. The population in this study includes all consumers visiting Warkop & Fresh Milk Kakilima, whose exact number cannot be determined. Considering the uncertainty of the population size and the fluctuation of visiting consumers, the sample size was determined based on Hair’s recommendation. Therefore, the researcher decided to use 170 respondents as the research sample. The sampling technique applied is accidental sampling, which involves selecting respondents who are encountered by chance and are willing to participate. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that partially, servicescape, content marketing, and experiential marketing each have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions at Warkop & Fresh Milk Kakilima Medan, as indicated by the t-value being greater than the t-table value. In addition, simultaneously, these three variables also have a significant effect on purchase decisions, as evidenced by the F-value being greater than the F-table value.

Abstract

Following Constitutional Court Decision No. 35/PUU-X/2012, the status of Customary Forests shifted from state forests to forests owned by indigenous people (Masyarakat Hukum Adat). This significant transformation in forest governance has triggered a surge in proposals to designate Customary Forests, which interestingly now extend to Other Land Use Areas (Areal Penggunaan Lain/APL), or non-forest plantation lands. Although legally permissible, the phenomenon of proposing Customary Forests on APL is unique in that indigenous people continue to propose them in areas they have owned since their inception. Therefore, this study analyzes why indigenous leaders propose the Customary Forest designation on APL in Jangkat District, Merangin Regency, Jambi.  The theory used in this study is Weber’s instrumental rational action. This research employs a qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as literature study, in-depth interviews and FGDs with indigenous leaders and village officials. The results indicate that the primary rationality underlying the proposal is instrumental. Specifically, customary leaders are seeking formal recognition to access government support and assistance in protecting vital water sources that sustain community livelihoods and strengthen the certainty and security of customary communities' rights.

Abstract

Teacher performance remains a critical issue in improving education quality, particularly at the primary school level, which faces increasing professional demands and limited resources. This condition indicates that performance is influenced not only by structural factors but also by teachers’ psychological factors and adaptive behaviors. This study aims to examine the effect of work passion and job crafting on primary school teachers’ performance. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The sample consisted of 69 public primary school teachers in Siulak District, Kerinci Regency, selected using a census sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results reveal that work passion and job crafting have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. Job crafting shows a more dominant influence. Together, both variables contribute 51.8% to teacher performance. This study highlights the integration of work passion and job crafting in explaining teacher performance in a rural primary education context. It suggests that schools should support teachers in developing adaptive work behaviors through training, innovation, and flexible work environments.

Abstract

The quality of management accounting information systems plays a crucial role in supporting managerial decision-making processes in banking institutions. However, the effectiveness of these systems is influenced by various organizational factors, including information technology, organizational structure, and internal control. This study aims to analyze the influence of information technology, organizational structure, and internal control on the quality of management accounting information systems in banking institutions in Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal comparative research design. The study population consisted of managers working at eleven banking institutions in Tembilahan. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling method with 50 questionnaires distributed and 33 returned and processed questionnaires. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires measured using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 26 software. The results of the study indicate that information technology, organizational structure, and internal control partially have a positive and significant influence on the quality of management accounting information systems. Furthermore, simultaneous testing results indicate that the three variables collectively have a significant effect on the quality of management accounting information systems. The coefficient of determination indicates that 60.3% of the variation in the quality of management accounting information systems can be explained by the three independent variables studied. This finding underscores the importance of information technology integration, an effective organizational structure, and a strong internal control system in improving the quality and reliability of management accounting information systems in banking institutions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing Islamic Corporate Governance in improving the performance and sustainability of Islamic banking, which still faces various challenges, such as low contribution to the economy and the quality of sustainability reporting. This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic Corporate Governance on Sustainability Reports, with financial performance as a mediating variable and Corporate Social Responsibility as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual reports and sustainability reports of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2019–2024. Data analysis was conducted to test the direct, indirect, and moderating effects between variables in the research model. The results show that Islamic Corporate Governance has a positive and significant effect on financial performance and Sustainability Reports. Financial performance is proven to act as a mediating variable, while Corporate Social Responsibility acts as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between governance and sustainability reporting. These findings indicate that the implementation of Sharia-based governance, supported by good financial performance and effective CSR practices, can improve corporate transparency and sustainability. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of Islamic Corporate Governance, sharia-based financial performance, and Corporate Social Responsibility is a key factor in improving the quality of Sustainability Reports in Islamic banking in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid growth of financial technology (fintech) has transformed financial transactions while simultaneously introducing new risks such as digital fraud, data breaches, overspending, and financial vulnerability. This study aims to analyze how users understand digital financial risks based on their level of digital financial literacy and how this understanding influences their behavior in using fintech services. The research employs a quantitative explanatory design with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to active fintech users. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships between digital financial literacy, risk perception, and fintech usage behavior. The findings reveal that digital financial literacy has a significant positive effect on risk perception and fintech usage behavior. Risk perception also significantly influences user behavior and partially mediates the relationship between literacy and behavior. These results indicate that users with higher literacy levels are more capable of recognizing risks and engaging in more responsible and informed financial practices. In conclusion, digital financial literacy plays a critical role in shaping users’ understanding of financial risks and promoting safer, more sustainable fintech usage.

Abstract

Although studies on da'wah have been widely conducted, research that specifically integrates geographical, demographic, social, cultural, and religious aspects within a single mapping framework remains limited, especially in Tigo Lurah Subdistrict, Solok Regency. This study aims to describe and analyze the da'wah map as a basis for formulating more effective and contextual da'wah strategies. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The informants consisted of religious leaders, mosque administrators, government officials, and community members who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of da'wah had not yet been optimal, as indicated by limited geographical access, low community participation, especially among the younger generation, the dominance of lecture-based methods that were less varied, and the uneven distribution of da'i. Nevertheless, the community has social potential in the form of togetherness values and religious traditions that can be further developed. These findings contribute to strengthening a social mapping-based approach to da'wah and provide a practical foundation for formulating more contextual da'wah strategies. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of developing more varied da'wah methods and increasing community participation to support the effectiveness of da'wah in the area.
