Abstract

Workload is an important concern for the nursing profession which will have an impact on the performance of nursing staff in providing nursing services. This study aims to determine the results of measuring workload and performance of nursing staff in the Outpatient Installation of Dumai City Regional Hospital. The research method was quantitative with a cross-sectional study design. The research was conducted at the Dumai City Hospital Outpatient Installation from June-July 2023. The population of this study was 33 people, the sample used was 33 respondents taken using the total sampling technique. Workload measurement is carried out using the work sampling method through observation. Performance is obtained using secondary data. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Pearson correlation, chi-square and linear regression on work sampling variables only. The research results showed that the calculation of heavy workload in orthopedic and neurosurgery clinics was 93.75%. With direct productive activities in wound care (19.23%) and indirect productive activities in completing the SPPK (Proof of Health Services) (13.01%). Nursing staff with a heavy workload was 27.28%, and a light workload was 72.72%. Nursing staff with good performance was 75.8% and very good 24.2%. There is no relationship between workload and the performance of nursing staff (p-value= 1.000, OR=0.750). Research Ethics Pass Letter Number: 145/KEPK/UHTP/VI/2023 dated June 19 2023. Evaluation and restructuring of work systems include reducing unproductive workloads, adjusting working hours, or allocating resources more efficiently and training and competency development of nursing staff.

Abstract

Access by KAI is an application developed by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) that plays an important role in simplifying the train ticket booking process for its users. The application has been downloaded more than 10 million times through the Google Play Store, with a review rating of 2.2 out of a scale of 1 to 5. This relatively low rating indicates a level of dissatisfaction among users. Moreover, the high number of negative reviews compared to positive reviews could also cause bias in the analysis results. Reviews from other users greatly influence the perception of the app's performance and quality among potential users. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a sentiment analysis of the application reviews published on the Google Play Store. The review data analyzed includes 1300 negative reviews and 457 positive reviews considered most relevant to provide a comprehensive overview of user perception. The method used in this analysis is the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) Algorithm. The results of the study show an accuracy rate of 80%, a precision of 73%, a recall of 63%, and an f1-score of 65%. These findings are expected to provide insights for the app developers to improve the quality and performance of the Access by KAI application.

Abstract

Background. Community participation in the implementation of waste management can be done at the household level, including sorting out waste and collecting recyclable waste in recycling programs. Bintaro Jaya area has various inorganic waste recycling programs that households can participate in, such as garbage bank programs, garbage dropboxes, and garbage donations to recycling centres or garbage collectors for recycling. The three programs have differences such as the ease of access and the type of waste collected in the program. Aim. The purpose of this study is to analyze the household participation level on inorganic waste recycling programs in Bintaro Jaya area Pondok Pucung urban village region and to find out the factors related. Method. This study used a cross-sectional study design. The analysis unit is a household with a minimum sample based on a two-proportion hypothesis test calculation of 147. Statistical analysis used is chi-square and logistic regression tests. Result. The results of this study indicate that the participation rate of households is 54.5%. The factors related to household participation are the availability of segregated waste bins (p-value < 0.001), and information through socialization (p-value <0.001).

Abstract

The entrepreneurs in Kelurahan Manyaran demonstrate substantial potential for UMKM development but face challenges in producing engaging and consistent digital content to sustain audience interest. The primary issue lies in limited understanding of copywriting techniques and the effective use of hooks. To address this, the FTII UNISBANK team, in collaboration with LPMK Manyaran, launched a community service program involving basic training in copywriting and hooks, AI-supported content creation, and ongoing mentorship. The program showed significant improvements in audience engagement and UMKM sales conversion, with an average engagement increase of 30%–50% within three months and a sales conversion rise from 5% to approximately 6.5%–7.5%. This sustained support aims to create a lasting positive impact, promoting business independence and fostering UMKM growth in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of a region's potential should be guided by mapping the region's potential, so that regional development becomes focused and sustainable. The three components that are considered are environemntal conditions, social conditions of society and economic conditions. Based on this, Tempos village, which is located in West Lombok, has the potential for development towards agrotourism, because the physical condition of the road is formed following the contour of the hilly area, the dominant area functions as agricultural land, the majority of the population is of working age with gender conditions close to equal but the level of education is still low. need training in the future. The community service method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, where the community is involved from data collection to the formulation of results so that the continuity of the program without assistance will still run well.

Abstract

Red chili is one of the staple complementary food ingredients essential to society. A rise in the price of red chili peppers can have a significant impact on the community's economy. This study develops a method combining Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) with parameter optimization through grid search and a hybrid approach using a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) to predict red chili prices. The goal of this approach is to improve prediction accuracy and find an appropriate solution to refine the forecasting model using double exponential smoothing. In this study, the DES method is used to capture short-term trends in historical data, while the GRU is employed to capture long-term and non-linear patterns in the data that cannot be explained by DES alone. With a data split ratio of 80% for training and 20% for testing, the lowest Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) achieved is 9.51%. This result is significantly better than using DES alone, which only yielded a MAPE of 32.74%. This study also proves to be able to improve accuracy compared to other methods, which have an average error rate of 22.32%. Therefore, this approach becomes the superior choice as a decision-support tool to anticipate extreme price increases.

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is the third most TB-prevalent country in the world after India and China. Sputum Smear Microscopy (SSM) is the most commonly used Tuberculosis test in developing countries due to its relatively low unit cost per test but low sensitivity. The World Health Organization recommends using Xpert MTB/RIF as a TB test because it has higher sensitivity and specificity and a shorter time to obtain results. This paper evaluates the cost-effectiveness analysis of Xpert MTB/RIF and Sputum Smear Microscopy in Indonesia. The search for scientific articles was conducted by keyword search through Google Scholar, PubMed, and Elsevier. The keywords used were related to "Cost-Effectiveness Analysis", "Xpert MTB/RIF and Sputum Smear Microscopy", and "Cost Effectiveness Analysis Xpert MTB/RIF and Sputum Smear". Articles identified through database searches were 1,040 articles with a research period of 2016 - 2023. They have obtained nine articles that have the most relevant topics. The results of the analysis of the nine articles show that when viewed from the overall costs required for TB suspect / TB-positive patients to obtain a cure, including the cost of follow-up tests, costs incurred due to treatment, and costs due to treatment in the hospital, Xpert MTB/RIF is considered more cost-effective than SSM. As one of the ten most dangerous infectious diseases in the world, it is hoped that the government's health insurance efforts related to TB case management can reduce the spread and mortality rate of TB in Indonesia.Keywords: Cost-Effectiveness Analysis, Tuberculosis, Sputum Smear Microscopy, Xpert MTB/RIF Abstrak Indonesia menempati posisi ketiga sebagai negara dengan prevalensi TB terbanyak di dunia setelah India dan China.Sputum Smear Microscopy (SSM) merupakan tes Tuberkulosis yang paling sering digunakan di negara berkembang karena unit cost per tes yang relatif murah, tetapi memiliki sensitivitas yang rendah. World Health Organization merekomendasikan penggunaan Xpert MTB/RIF sebagai tes TB karena memiliki sensitivitas dan spesifisitas yang lebih tinggi serta waktu perolehan hasil yang lebih singkat. Karya tulis ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi cost effectiveness analysis terhadap pemeriksaan Xpert MTB/RIF dan Sputum Smear Microscopy di Indonesia. Pencarian artikel ilmiah dilakukan dengan pencarian kata kunci melalui Google Scholar, PubMed, dan Elsevier. Kata kunci yang digunakan berhubungan dengan “Cost Effectiveness Analysis”, “Xpert MTB/RIF dan Sputum Smear Microscopy”, “Cost Effectiveness Analysis Xpert MTB/RIF and Sputum Smear”. Artikel yang teridentifikasi melalui pencarian database sebanyak 1.040 artikel dengan rentang waktu penelitian 2016 – 2023. Diperoleh 9 artikel yang memiliki topik yang paling relevan. Hasil analisis terhadap 9 artikel menunjukkan bahwa jika ditinjau dari keseluruhan biaya yang diperlukan pasien suspect TB/TB positif untuk memperoleh kesembuhan diantaranya seperti: biaya test lanjutan; biaya yang ditimbulkan karena perawatan; dan biaya akibat pengobatan di rumah sakit, maka Xpert MTB/RIF dinilai lebih cost effective dibandingkan SSM. Sebagai salah satu penyakit yang masuk ke dalam sepuluh penyakit menular berbahaya di dunia, diharapkan upaya jaminan kesehatan dari pemerintah terkait penanggulangan kasus TB dapat menekan angka penyebaran dan kematian akibat TB di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Cost Effectiveness Analysis, Tuberkulosis, Sputum Smear Microscopy, Xpert MTB/RIF

Abstract

Pembangunan kesehatan masyarakat semakin baik dan terbuka sehingga mendorong peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan yang aman, bermutu dan terjangkau bagi Masyarakat. Dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan salah satunya adalah dengan penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM), penerapan TQM ini sangat penting dalam organisasi, mengingat pentingnya pelayanan publik dan tanggung jawab negara terhadap kesejahteraan rakyatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review yaitu proses penelitian yang melibatkan pengumpulan, penelaahan dan sintesis berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan dengan topik. Peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik kesehatan dapat dicapai dengan memperhatikan dan memenuhi indikator yang belum tercapai yang menjadi kendala dalam penerapan TQM secara maksimal. Pelaksanaan unsur TQM dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dapat mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan dari sebuah organisasi, dan dalam pelaksanaannya tersebut harus diimbangi dengan perbaikan sarana dan prasarana pendukung dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan publik kesehatan tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan topik bebas dalam menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Budong-Budong. Penelitian ini bersifat deskripsi kuantitatif. Desain dan model yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian yang bersifat eksperimen jenis pre-eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Budong-Budong yang terbagi dalam tiga kelas. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 25 orang. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposif (purposive sampel). Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data, yaitu teknik tes mengarang melalui dua bagian, yaitu pretest dan posttest. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik inferensial jenis uji t desain 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Budong-Budong yang sebelumnya menggunakan topik bebas(pretest) lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kemampuan siswa menulis karangan deskripsi setelah menggunakan topik bebas (posttest). Hal ini tampak pula berdasarkan perolehan nilai rata-rata siswa. Sebelum menggunakan topik bebas, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 5,9 dan meningkat menjadi 6,6 setelah menggunakan topik bebas; (2) penggunaan topik bebas efektif diterapkan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Budong-Budong.

Abstract

Audit quality is one of the important prerequisites in conducting an audit. This is to evaluate audit quality and several factors that affect audit quality at various levels of audit engagements. By definition, audit quality is achieved when the auditor can identify material items by applying Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and Principles that help ensure the accuracy of the auditor's actions and reports. This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of independence, work experience, and accountability on actions to improve audit quality, either partially or simultaneously. The method used is descriptive quantitative, using a questionnaire and a Likert scale. The total population is 163 employees. The sample measurement technique is the slovin formula, resulting in a total sample of 115 employees. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using T test and F test. The results of the study found that there was no influence between independence on actions to improve audit quality, but there was a significant effect between work experience and accountability on actions in improving audit quality. partially or simultaneously.
