Abstract

Baghdad held a strategic position as a center of intellectual brilliance and Islamic civilization, while Andalusia emerged as one of the most advanced Islamic civilizations under the Umayyad dynasty. This comparative study is crucial for understanding how scholarly networks influenced the development of hadith scholarship and the respective contributions of these regions, given the scarcity of systematic comparative studies on hadith studies in these specific areas, particularly between Baghdad and Andalusia. Employing a qualitative method with historical and comparative analysis, this research aims to examine the characteristics and comparisons of three key aspects: al-riḥlah, teacher-student networks, and written works before the 5th century Hijri. The findings reveal that scholars in Baghdad undertook al-riḥlah to Mecca, Medina, Kufa, Basra, Syam, Yemen, Maghreb, Khurasan, and Samarkand to obtain elevated chains of transmission (‘ulūw al-isnād) and leveraged the city’s central position as an intellectual hub. In contrast, Andalusian scholars conducted expansive al-riḥlah to the Levant, the Hijaz, Baghdad, and Egypt to strengthen their sanad and collect hadith manuscripts. The scholarly network in Baghdad exhibited dynamic mazhab interactions, whereas in Andalusia, it was hierarchical-territorial and predominantly centered around Maliki scholars such as Yaḥyā al-Laythī. Written contributions in Baghdad produced diverse genres, primarily dominated by kitāb al-rijāl and al-musnad, while Andalusian works focused extensively on syarah and transmission pathways of al-Muwaṭṭa’, establishing a dominant trend.

Abstract

This research investigates how digital accessibility, facilitated by “click and share” mechanisms, drives a spiritual revolution in Islamic da’wah practices among Indonesian Muslims. The study aims to explore the shifts in religious learning patterns and the evolution of individual spirituality within the rapidly advancing digital era. Employing a qualitative methodology, this study integrates digital ethnography and in-depth interviews with 30 participants, including digital preachers (da’i), active social media users, and individuals who have undergone spiritual transformation through online platforms. Thematic analysis was applied to uncover recurring patterns in digital spiritual engagement and the dynamics of transformation in these digital spaces. The findings reveal that the ease of access enabled by a simple “click” has redefined religious learning, shifting it from rigid, scheduled sessions to on-demand spiritual consumption. Meanwhile, the culture of “sharing” has fostered new forms of religious social validation. Digital da’wah has transformed from traditional, lengthy sermons into micro-content formats using memes, visuals, and personalized messages. The study proposes the theoretical concept of “fingertip spirituality” as a new paradigm for digital religious engagement, offering practical and theoretical implications for Islamic communication strategies in the digital age.

Abstract

Kelompok PKK Rejosari Tulungagung memiliki potensi dalam produksi batik ecoprint berbasis kearifan lokal. Namun, pada saat proses produksi masih menggunakan alat kukus konvensional yang kapasitasnya lima, panas tidak merata, waktu proses produksi lama dan menghasilkan motif yang tidak konsisten. Penggunaan alat tersebut menghambat efesiensi produksi, meningkatkan tingkat kegagalan produk, dan menyulitkan dalam menjaga stadar kualitas. Proses pemasaran produk belum terintegrasi dengan media digital, sehingga jangkauan pasar tidak bisa luas. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing mitra melalui penerapan Mesin steamer batik ecoprint otomatis dan pelatihan manajemen pemasaran digital. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menghasilkan mesin yang mampu menghasilkan uap panas stabil dan merata dengan bantuan kompor burner double channel. Mesin steamer batik ecoprint otomatis dilengkapi dengan sistem timer dan pengaturan suhu untuk menjaga suhu tetap stabil. Penggunaan mesin steamer batik ecoprint otomatis mampu meningkatkan kapasitas produksi hingga 100%, mempercepat waktu proses sebesar 25%, serta meningkatkan konsistensi dan kualitas motif secara signifikan melalui distribusi panas yang merata dan kontrol suhu terintegrasi. Pelatihan digital marketing membantu mitra memahami strategi promosi dan memperluas akses pasar. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis, efisiensi produksi, dan kemampuan adaptasi mitra terhadap tren pemasaran. Innovation of Automatic Batik Ecoprint Machine and Digital Marketing Management to Improve Fashion Batik Ecoprint Business of PKK Rejosari Group Tulungagung The PKK Rejosari Tulungagung group has potential in the production of ecoprint batik based on local wisdom. However, during the production process, they still use conventional steaming tools with a capacity of five, uneven heat, a long production process time, and produce inconsistent motifs. The use of these tools hampers production efficiency, increases the product failure rate, and makes it difficult to maintain quality standards. The product marketing process has not been integrated with digital media, so the market reach cannot be wide. This programme aims to increase the productivity and competitiveness of partners through the application of an automatic ecoprint batik steamer machine and digital marketing management training. The results of this activity produce a machine that is able to produce stable and evenly hot steam with the help of a double-channel burner stove. The automatic ecoprint batik steamer machine is equipped with a timer system and temperature settings to keep the temperature stable. The use of an automatic batik ecoprint steamer machine increases production capacity by up to 100%, reduces processing time by 25%, and significantly enhances motif consistency and quality through evenly distributed heat and integrated temperature control. Digital marketing training helped partners understand promotion strategies and expand market access. Evaluation showed improvements in partners' technical skills, production efficiency, and adaptability to marketing trends

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need to improve the quality of mathematics learning in the digital era, where the complexity of subject matter and low student learning motivation require innovative and adaptive approaches. This study aims to analyze the contribution of AI utilization by teachers in improving the mathematics learning process, particularly through the development of technological and pedagogical competencies. The research employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review, examining research findings published between 2023 and 2025. The results indicate that continuous training and mentoring play a crucial role in enhancing teachers’ technological literacy, which in turn improves their ability to integrate AI into learning media and instructional modules in a more creative and adaptive manner. The findings also show that AI improves teaching time efficiency, facilitates the identification of students’ learning difficulties, strengthens critical thinking skills, and reduces mathematics anxiety. The implications of this study emphasize that the successful implementation of AI largely depends on teachers’ readiness through sustained digital competence development, enabling AI to function as a catalyst for creating innovative, human-centered, and 21st-century competency-oriented mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis literatur kualitatif yang ada guna membangun sebuah model konseptual yang menjelaskan bagaimana mekanisme motivasi, baik intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, secara kolektif meningkatkan kinerja tim dalam konteks unik bisnis pendidikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan meta-sintesis, penelitian ini secara sistematis mengidentifikasi, menilai, dan mengintegrasikan temuan dari 16 studi kualitatif peer-reviewed yang relevan. Hasil sintesis mengungkapkan tiga tema analitis utama. Pertama, misi pendidikan yang berorientasi pada dampak sosial berfungsi sebagai jangkar motivasi intrinsik yang fundamental, menumbuhkan komitmen dan resiliensi tim. Kedua, budaya kerja yang memberikan otonomi dan ruang untuk eksperimen terbukti menjadi pendorong krusial bagi inovasi dan kemampuan adaptasi. Ketiga, motivator ekstrinsik, seperti kompensasi yang adil dan pengakuan, memainkan peran pragmatis yang esensial. Alih-alih bertentangan, motivator ekstrinsik berfungsi sebagai penyeimbang yang memberikan stabilitas dan validasi profesional, memungkinkan tim untuk fokus pada misi tanpa mengabaikan tuntutan pasar. Kinerja tim yang unggul dalam edupreneurship dicapai melalui sinergi strategis antara idealisme misi dan realisme pasar, bukan dengan memprioritaskan satu jenis motivasi di atas yang lain.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a learning companion for children and its impact on parent–child interpersonal communication from a communication psychology perspective. Employing a qualitative approach, the study involved in-depth interviews with 25 parents who actively use AI-based learning applications, along with content analysis of five AI learning platforms. Data were collected between August and October 2024 in the Jabodetabek region through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and digital content analysis. The findings reveal that the integration of AI into children’s learning creates a triadic communication dynamic involving parents, children, and technology, with 92% of participants reporting that AI has become a routine component of daily learning activities. AI offers positive contributions by enhancing learning accessibility (84%), enabling personalized learning, and reducing emotional conflict between parents and children (72%). However, AI use may also reduce the intensity of direct verbal communication (68%) and increase the risk of technological dependency among children (28%). The study identifies four effective communication strategies—active co-engagement, complementary role specialization, scheduled tech-free quality time, and critical digital literacy education to support balanced AI use while maintaining emotional bonds within families

Abstract

Local wisdom in Confucian marriage is a manifestation of cultural values and spiritual teachings that govern sacred and meaningful matrimonial procedures. In Indonesia, marriage in Confucianism is not merely considered a bond between two individuals, but also a union of two families and a form of reverence towards ancestors and Tian (Heaven). The marriage process encompasses several stages, including the proposal report, family meeting, selection of an auspicious date based on the Confucian calendar, and the wedding ceremony itself, which is conducted through offering and prayer rituals at the temple. Within the context of national law, Law No. 1 of 1974 of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Marriage recognizes the validity of Confucian marriages, provided they adhere to appropriate customary provisions and procedures. This local wisdom emphasizes the importance of harmony, respect, and unity in building a strong family, aligning with state norms and regulations. Thus, Confucian marriage reflects a synergy between customary traditions, spirituality, and Indonesian legal regulations within a framework of sustainable local wisdom. The research method used is qualitative with an analytical descriptive approach. This approach allows researchers to thoroughly examine the values of local wisdom, the ritual practices of Confucian marriage, and their application within the national legal context. Applicable methods include: In-depth interviews: Collecting data from Confucian religious leaders, married couples, and marriage law experts to obtain direct perspectives on the integration of custom and law. Participatory observation: Directly observing Confucian wedding processions and practiced traditions to understand the preserved local values. Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Pendidikan Kejuruan Elemen 6 di kelas X TITL SMK Negeri 1 Sidayu Gresik adalah rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Kondisi ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai awal peserta didik yang belum mencapai capaian pembelajaran yang diharapkan, serta proses pembelajaran yang masih didominasi metode konvensional dengan penggunaan media yang kurang interaktif. Akibatnya, peserta didik cenderung pasif dan mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep materi kabel listrik dan penyambungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan media pembelajaran game based learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Pendidikan Kejuruan Elemen 6. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 36 peserta didik kelas X TITL. Pengumpulan data difokuskan pada tes hasil belajar kognitif melalui pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan perhitungan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif pada seluruh peserta didik setelah penerapan media pembelajaran game based learning. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test. Nilai N-gain sebesar 0,47 berada pada kategori sedang, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep secara bermakna. Pembahasan hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis permainan mampu membantu peserta didik memahami materi secara lebih aktif dan sistematis. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran game based learning efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. This study examines how inspirational motivation, a core dimension of transformational leadership, is enacted in daily leadership practices to enhance teacher professionalism. Using a qualitative multicast design, the research was conducted in two Islamic primary schools in Indonesia. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving 20 participants, including principals, teachers, and key stakeholders. The findings indicate that inspirational motivation is not expressed through isolated motivational speeches but through integrated and sustained leadership practices. Principals demonstrate inspirational motivation through three interconnected strategies: exemplary leadership that builds moral credibility and professional role modelling; consistent oral and written motivational communication that strengthens teachers’ professional awareness; and structured programs that institutionalize ongoing professional development. These combined practices nurture internal commitment, responsibility, and continuous competence improvement among teachers. This study proposes a contextual framework of inspirational motivation that emphasizes the interdependence of leader behaviour, symbolic communication, and organizational support. It contributes to transformational leadership literature by conceptualizing inspirational motivation as an enacted, practice-based process within Islamic primary education settings.

Abstract

Religious moderation has become a strategic agenda in Indonesian education to strengthen social cohesion in pluralistic societies. At the primary education level, studies on religious moderation remain fragmented and require integrative synthesis. This study examines how religious moderation education is implemented in Indonesian elementary schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (SD/MI) through a Systematic Literature Review retrieved from Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Elicit.ai. The analysis focuses on conceptualization, pedagogical implementation, and reported challenges and impacts. The findings indicate that religious moderation education at the SD/MI level is predominantly implemented through integrative and implicit practices rather than as a standalone curricular subject. Moderation values—such as justice, tolerance, inclusivity, and social harmony—are embedded across curricula, learning materials, pedagogical strategies, and school culture, with teachers functioning as key mediators of value internalization. While moderation-oriented education contributes to more inclusive school climates and positive student attitudes toward diversity, its implementation remains uneven due to limited teacher conceptual clarity, competing academic demands, and the growing influence of digital environments. This study contributes by articulating embedded moderation pedagogy as a conceptual framework for understanding religious moderation education in early schooling. The findings provide a concise reference for advancing research, policy development, and educational practice in religious and character education within pluralistic contexts.
