Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient and usercentered public services has led to the development of the J-KOPI (Jember Smart City) application. However, user satisfaction remains a challenge due to varying levels of perceived service quality and public trust. This study aims to analyze the impact of service quality on user satisfaction, with perceived usefulness as a mediating variable. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative approach, the study employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to assess relationships between these variables. Data were gathered through observations, online questionnaires, and documentation, focusing on key indicators such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and trust dimensions. The results reveal that both service quality significantly influence user satisfaction directly and through perceived usefulness. Notably, service quality dimensions positively correlate with perceived usefulness, enhancing users' productivity and satisfaction. These findings suggest that strengthening both service quality is essential for improving user satisfaction and promoting broader adoption of J-KOPI, supporting Jember's smart city vision.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to examine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning model accompanied by Augmented Reality assessment media on critical thinking skills and physics learning outcomes in high school on circular motion material. This research uses the type of research true experiment because the research sample was selected using a lottery technique or randomly. The sample was obtained by testing the homogeneity of the midterm exam scores that had been carried out by the teacher. The research design used posttest only control group design. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U Test, it can be found that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.028 <0.05. This shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Proving that there is an effect of the implementation of Problem Based Learning models accompanied by Augmented Reality assessment media on students' critical thinking skills in circular motion material. And the results of the T test (Independent Sample T-Test) found that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.006 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, then it is concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning models accompanied by Augmented Reality assessment media affects student learning outcomes in circular motion material. Furthermore, there are suggestions for other researchers, namely that they can use the results of this study as a reference and basis for exploring other topics or materials and developing interactive learning media that are interesting, innovative and more creative

Abstract

Batik Jumputan merupakan salah satu bentu seni tekstil yang memegang nilai budaya yang tinggi. Pengabdian berbentuk penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan pembuatan batik jumputan sebagai upayar untuk melestarikan budaya tradisional di Desa Tanjung Atap, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Dalam pelatihan ini, dilakukan pemberian materi teori sekaligus peraktik mengenai teknik pembuatan batik jumputan pada masyarakat setempat. Pengabdian ini melibatkan 30 Peserta. Pengabdian ini menggunakam metode Model Technical Assistance dalam bentuk pelatihan sekaligus pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan memaparakan materi tentang batik jumputan, model-model batik jumputan, dan teknik pembuatan jumputan. Sementara itu, kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan setelah pemparan materi dengan mendampingi masyarakat dalam memperaktikkan cara pembuatan batik jemputan dari tahap pembuatan motif, pewarnaan dan pengeringan kain. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam membuat batik jumputan, serta dapat meningkatnya kesadaran tentang pentingnya pelestarian budaya lokal

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is undergoing significant transformation influenced by technological advances, policy changes, and the challenges of globalization. This article discusses the role of Total Quality Management (TQM) as a strategic approach to improving the quality of education, while also addressing the challenges faced by the national education sector. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of TQM in creating quality education through continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and strong leadership. This study uses a literature review method to analyze various relevant references. The results of the study indicate that TQM contributes to improving the quality of education through the integration of the principles of planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. TQM also facilitates the active involvement of all stakeholders, including educators, students, and the community, to promote a culture of quality. In addition, the application of technology in education is recognized for its potential in improving the effectiveness of learning and administration. The successful implementation of TQM requires adequate infrastructure, continuous training for teachers, and policies that support educational equality and innovation. This implementation is expected to be able to create a globally competitive education system, producing innovative and highly competitive graduates.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' skills in writing procedure texts using the Teams Games Tournament with Pictures Series. The subjects of this study were all 32 students in class IX D at SMPN 12 Pontianak. The writers employed Classroom Action Research conducted over two cycles, in which each cycle consisted of two meetings. The data were collected using observation checklists, field notes, and tests. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the use of Teams Games Tournament and Pictures Series were able to improve students' writing skills. This can be seen from the increasement of the students’ mean scores from 76.3 in Cycle 1 to 84.9 in Cycle 2. In addition to score improvement, student engagement and enthusiasm during the learning process also significantly increased. Therefore, the researcher recommends the teachers to utilize both of these strategies in order to enhance students' writing skills.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the validity of the Physics Event Photo Analysis (AFKF) module based on the STEM approach and improve students' critical thinking skillsat SMA Negeri 1 Rogojampi. The researchers implemented the ADDIE development model to achieve these goals, which consisted of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collecting techniques used in this research were interviews, product validation, and tests. The validation results indicated that the product was feasible to use with a validity percentage of 93%. The percentages can be categorized as very valid and can be used without revision. Furthermore, the percentage of the product's effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking abilitywas 66.58% which was included in the medium category. The PhysBased on the STEM approach, the Event Photo Analysis Module (AFKF) based ed positive responses from students with a percentage of 76%.TThis development research concluded that the STEM approach-based Physics Event Photo Analysis (AFKF) module is very valid and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Sanggar Bibib is a well-known makeup artist service provider in Prabumulih City. Sanggar Bibib's booking system is still conventional, relying on old methods such as SMS, telephone, WhatsApp, or in-person meetings, because it lacks a systematic ordering system and underutilizes existing technology. Furthermore, potential customers are still embarrassed to ask about the price of makeup services. Based on the results of this research, the author attempted to design an Android-based booking system to facilitate the process of ordering makeup artist services at Sanggar Bibib. This booking system is expected to enable ordering so that negotiations are not lengthy and potential customers don't have to ask directly to find out the price list

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa SMK dalam konteks bahasa Inggris keperawatan melalui penerapan metode role play. Metode ini dipilih karena dinilai mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual, komunikatif, dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMK Amanah Husada Yogyakarta dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XII jurusan keperawatan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, siswa diberikan contoh percakapan yang berkaitan dengan situasi medis. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dan antusiasme siswa meningkat secara signifikan. Mereka mampu menggunakan frasa dan ekspresi yang sesuai dengan konteks komunikasi medis, serta menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kelancaran berbicara. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap metode role play sangat positif; mereka merasa lebih percaya diri dan memahami pentingnya keterampilan speaking dalam dunia kerja keperawatan. Secara umum, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan performa berbicara siswa, baik dari segi struktur bahasa maupun keberanian untuk berkomunikasi

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) aims to improve the skills of the Tanjung Tambak Baru Village community in the field of origami-based handicrafts as an alternative to developing the creative economy. Based on initial observations, the community in the village has enough free time, but it has not been used productively. On the other hand, skills in craft arts such as origami are still very limited, even though they have the potential to be developed into products of economic value. This activity was carried out for two months, namely from May to June 2025, through a series of training consisting of an introduction to the basics of origami, practice in making various shapes, to product packaging and an introduction to entrepreneurship. The implementation method includes counseling, direct training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' skills in making origami crafts, the formation of village craft groups, and the emergence of entrepreneurial interest from some participants. Active community participation and support from the village government are the keys to the success of this activity. This program has a positive impact not only in terms of skills and creativity, but also opens up economic opportunities through the utilization of local craft products. Thus, this origami training can be one of the strategies for sustainable community empowerment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial management system implemented by the Educational Foundation of Sekolah Prabumulih and assess its effectiveness in utilizing operational funds. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method, the research explores key processes including financial planning, budget implementation, internal control, and financial evaluation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation analysis involving foundation administrators, school principals, and finance staff. The findings reveal that although the foundation conducts annual financial planning through the preparation of a school budget (RAPBS), the process lacks participation from broader school stakeholders. Budget implementation often deviates from the plan, with most expenditures focused on routine operational costs, while educational quality improvement programs are underfunded. Internal control mechanisms are weak, with limited oversight and no regular internal audits. Furthermore, financial evaluations are infrequent and transparency toward external parties such as parents or school committees remains low. The study concludes that ineffective financial management marked by limited participation, weak control, and lack of transparency has hindered the optimal use of operational funds. Improvements in participatory budgeting, disciplined implementation, structured internal control, and open financial reporting are crucial to enhance fund effectiveness and support better educational outcomes.
