Abstract

The International Community Service program was implemented in Pematang Johar Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra—an emerging semi-periurban area characterized by socioeconomic vulnerabilities that heighten residents’ exposure to illegal online lending and fraudulent investment schemes. Utilizing the Participatory Action Learning and Action Research (PALAR) approach, the program integrated experiential learning, critical reflection, group discussions, and locally relevant case studies to strengthen financial literacy. Evaluation results indicate substantial improvements across key indicators, including knowledge of licensed financial institutions, the ability to identify illegal financial practices, and overall financial prudence. These findings demonstrate that contextualized, community-based financial education effectively enhances risk awareness and encourages safer financial behaviour. The program further provides practical insights for designing scalable and replicable community financial literacy models applicable to similar semi-periurban contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze higher order thinking skills through a project-based learning model on acid-base material. The project being carried out is to make natural acid-base indicators and to be able to determine the acid-base properties of solutions from the natural acid-base indicators that have been made. This research was conducted from January 2021 to June 2021. This research used a qualitative research method, an interpretive paradigm with 40 students in class XI IPA in Jakarta as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out by class observation, student and teacher reflective journals, student worksheets and tests of higher order thinking skills.Based on observations, the dominant skill is analyzing skill which is equal to 83.33%, the second skill is evaluating skill which is equal to 79.16%, and the third skill is creating skill amounting to 77.50%. Based on the test results, the dominant skill is analyzing skills by 75.44%, the second skill is evaluating skills by 70.36%, and the third skill is evaluating skills by 69.58%.

Abstract

- This study aims to determine students' digital literacy through Flipped Classroom learning on buffer solution material using web-Edmodo. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Padangan, East Java. This research method is a qualitative method. The learning model used is the flipped classroom, while the Edmodo web is a platform that can be used in the teaching and learning process anywhere and anytime. Data collection techniques include distributing digital literacy questionnaires, observation, interviews, reflective journals, and documentation. The digital literacy dimensions analyzed in this study consist of information, communication, content-creation, safety, and problem-solving. The results showed that the students had a very good category in the dimensions of information, communication, content creation, and safety, while in problem-solving they had a good category. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Edmodo web in buffer solution learning through the flipped classroom can foster students' digital literacy

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing computational thinking skills for students in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Computational thinking is described as a thinking process in formulating problems and solving problems computationally through computers, humans or machines. Its skills can be measured during the learning process of students with the approach of basic computational thinking strategies as follows: Are students able to decompose complex problems into simpler problems? (Decomposition), can students create problem patterns? (Pattern recognition), are students able to focus on issues that are considered important? (Abstraction), and whether students can solve problems systematically (Algorithm) with SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time-based). The research aims to improve students' computational thinking skills through the integration of technology in problem-based learning models on polymer topics. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative method with none equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were students of SMAN 1 South Tangerang City, totaling 66 students of class XII. The results showed that the computational thinking skills of students increased after the implementation of the problem-based learning model integrated with technology. This is indicated by the average N-Gain Score for the experimental class which is 56.65%, which is included in the quite effective category, and based on the independent sample t-test. The Sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) 0.007. This indicates Sig. (2-tailed) <, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect of the use of technology integration in the problem-based learning model on polymer topics.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Human Resource Competence, Information Technology Utilization, and the Effectiveness of Accounting Information Systems on the Quality of Financial Reports within the Tebo Regency Government. The theoretical foundation draws on the Resource-Based View (RBV), which underscores the strategic importance of optimizing internal organizational resources, alongside the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model, which provides a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of accounting information systems. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, in which questionnaires were administered to 125 financial management personnel across the Regional Government Organizations (OPD) of Tebo Regency. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to assess the individual and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results show that Human Resource Competence, Information Technology Utilization, and Accounting Information System Effectiveness collectively exert a significant influence on the Quality of Financial Reports. However, when tested individually, only the Effectiveness of the Accounting Information System demonstrates a positive and significant effect, whereas Human Resource Competence and Information Technology Utilization do not exhibit significant impacts. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of the accounting information system serves as the key determinant in enhancing the quality of financial reporting within regional government entities.

Abstract

Stigma causes PLWHA to experience obstacles in the treatment and care process because people living with stigmatized health conditions are confined to live in the same society, but are still moved and experience their own stigma. Stigma has two understanding points of view, namely community stigma and self-stigma. The stigma of society towards PLWHA occurs at various levels, starting from the family, community, institutional environment, and the mass media. Self stigma (self stigma) is a crisis from people who are stigmatized to apply the stigma to themselves. The general objective is to provide an overview of various cases of stigma against PLWHA from a community perspective and self-stigma. Analysis of this paper is carried out through literature review by examining written sources such as scientific journals, reference books, literature, encyclopedias, scientific essays, and other reliable sources either in written form or in relevant digital formats without going directly to the field. This paper is expected to provide benefits and input, as well as a consideration for decision makers in order to review and determine various policies related to the handling of stigma against PLWHA
