Abstract

Muara Sungai Upang merupakan salah satu muara yang terletak di pesisir Sumatera Selatan. Muara sungai banyak menerima masukan bahan organik dari lingkungan di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsentrasi klorofil-a yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui status kesuburan di Perairan Muara Sungai Upang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari dan Agustus 2020. Pengambilan sampel air dan pengukuran parameter ditentukan secara purposive sampling method. Analisis klorofil-a dilakukan dengan metode spektrofotometri. Konsentrasi klorofil-a dan parameter lingkungan perairan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Data konsentrasi klorofil-a selanjutnya dianalisis untuk melihat kesuburan perairannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi klorofil-a di perairan Muara Sungai Upang tergolong oligotrofik dengan rata-rata 1,04 mg/m3 pada bulan Februari dan tergolong mesotrofik dengan rata-rata 6,63 mg/m3 pada bulan Agustus. Konsentrasi klorofil-a di perairan Muara Sungai Upang cenderung tinggi pada daerah bagian muara menuju perairan laut dan lebih rendah di daerah sungai.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti di SD Negeri 12 Kinali, guru kelas IV dalam mengajarkan Matematika masih bersifat konvensional, sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar rendah.. Pendekatan konstruktivisme ini adalah suatu pendekatan dalam pembelajaran yang tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa tapi juga membangun pengetahuannya sendiri. Langkah-langkah pembelajaran konstruktivisme, Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk perencanaan, bentuk pelaksanaan dan hasil belajar siswa Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (class action research), dan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus,  Hasil siklus I pada perencanaan diperoleh hasil 72%, aspek guru 73%, aspek siswa 66%, hasil tes rata-rata 65,6. Siklus II perencanaan 89%, aspek guru 91%, aspek siswa 86%, hasil tes siswa meningkat menjadi 77,1. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, pecahan dan konstrutivisme

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity accessions of Siak Regency’s local rice. The study was conducted for six months, from May to October 2018 at Experimental Garden of Agriculture Faculty, Riau University. This study used descriptive qualitative analysis method based on agronomic and morphological characters, as well as characterization activities on 21 local rice accessions. There are 10 morphological characters with low diversity, such as the surface, leaf surface, leaf tongue shape, leaf neck color, leaf ear color, leaf book color, leaf tongue color, grain tip color and the color of the pistil. There are five morphological characters with rather low diversity, such as the presence of lemmapalea hair, the color of stem segments, the color of leaf blades, panicle shaft and vigor. There are five morphological characters with quite high diversity, such as yellowing of leaves, panicle discharge, panicle type, secondary panicle branches and leaf midrib color also three morphological characters with high diversity, such as lemmapalea color, grain tip fur and grain tip fur color. While the agronomic character with a rather low diversity is vigor and there are three characters with quite high diversity, such as the stiffness of stem, yellowing of leaves and panicle discharge. Abstract

This study investigates the perceptions of SB KAMUS Gombok Utara students regarding the school's efforts to promote character education rooted in the noble values of the Indonesian nation. The effectiveness of character education hinges on students experiencing firsthand the significance of humanism. This research explores how students perceive character education integration with Indonesian national values within their school context. Employing a quantitative approach grounded in descriptive statistics, data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that 62.96% of the 27 participating students felt adequately prepared regarding strengthening character education, while 37.04% were somewhat prepared. Furthermore, 59.26% of the students felt ready regarding the cultivation of character education content based on noble values, while 40.74% were very prepared. Various factors were identified to influence the educational environment, including teacher and parental awareness, consistency in applying noble values, resource limitations, evolving social values, challenges in progress measurement, shifting priorities, and cultural diversity. Despite these challenges, concerted efforts from stakeholders—comprising families, schools, and communities—can surmount obstacles and fortify the youth's development of positive character traits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi pokok Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Bambel Kota Cane. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni semua siswa kelas XI, sampel diambil sebanyak 80 orang dan dibagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu 40 orang (XA) di ajar dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan 40 orang XB yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk objektif tes sebanyak 30 soal. Hasil dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik meningkat dengan persentase peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 15,05% dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen 14,90 dan kelas kontrol 12,95. Ada pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bambel Kota Cane.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran tipe STAD, struktur atom, sistem periodik unsur.

Abstract

The effect of team assisted individualization instructional strategies to enhance problem solving ability, learning activity, and mathematics learning achievement. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of TAI learning medol on students’ ability to solve problems. Methods: The research method uses a quantitative approach with experimental research design. The research subjects involved 83 students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 10 Tegal. Findings: The results of the proportion test on students using the TAI instructional strategies show that zcount > ztable (1.833 > 1.64), while the MANOVA test results show λcount < λtable (0.122 < 0.903), and the test results of τ2-Hotelling obtained Fcount > Ftable (8.63 > 2.76). Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) yang dikombinasikan dengan pemanfaatan media Wordwall. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 32 siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Kisaran dan disusun ke dalam dua tahapan siklus. Siklus pertama menerapkan diskusi kelompok menggunakan model PBL pada materi "My Class Schedule". Sedangkan siklus kedua menggunakan media interaktif Wordwall pada materi "My Online Class". Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi keaktifan siswa, tes (pretest dan posttest), refleksi siswa, dokumentasi. Proses analisis data dilakukan melalui pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu dengan mengkalkulasi nilai rata-rata dari skor yang diperoleh siswa berdasarkan indikator keaktifan siswa dari lima indikator keaktifan, yang kemudian dikonversi ke dalam skala 100. Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keaktifan siswa, dari rata-rata skor 67,42 (masuk kategori cukup aktif) pada siklus pertama menjadi 81,83 (kategori sangat aktif) di siklus kedua. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dan media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa secara efektif.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine how well students understand mathematical concepts and what factors affect student ability in the economics mathematics course in the Islamic economics study program. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research are Islamic economics students from semester 2E. The subjects were selected through purposive sampling techniques. Qualitative data on students' mathematical concept understanding were obtained through observation, documentation, tests, and interviews. Before analyzing the data, the researcher conducted data source triangulation. The data analysis technique in this study involves three stages: reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing from the data. The research results classify students' mathematical concept understanding test scores into three categories: high ability, moderate ability, and low ability. For students in the high ability category, they can master all indicators of conceptual understanding, namely Rephrasing concepts, Applying concepts algorithmically, Providing examples or counterexamples of concepts, Presenting concepts in various representations, and Relating various concepts to their everyday life. Students in the moderate ability category are able to master 3 indicators: Rephrasing concepts, Applying concepts algorithmically, Providing examples or counterexamples of concepts. Students in the low ability category can only master 2 indicators, which are Rephrasing concepts, and Providing examples or counterexamples of concepts. Additionally, there are internal and external factors that influence students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Internal factors include self-confidence, interest in learning, and motivation to learn, while external factors include educational background and teaching methods.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the analysis of ethnomathematics-based interactive teaching materials in mathematics learning in the digital era. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Articles were searched through the Google Scholar, Sinta, and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) databases from the last 5 years of publications from 2019 to 2024. Based on standardized acceptance criteria, 20 articles were obtained which were used as initial research. Each component was recorded and then classified based on title, year of study, level of education, and type of teaching materials used. Based on the results of the literature review by the researcher, several findings and conclusions were obtained, including: 1) the use of E-modules is very well known and widely used by researchers in implementing a learning concept and E-modules are also a reference for teaching materials that are widely studied by researchers in various studies. 2) the average percentage level of all articles studied shows an effectiveness of 85% so that all teaching materials studied are included in the very good category or can be said to be effective.

Abstract

Elderly are people who reach the age over 60 years. Along with increasing age, there will be a decrease in body function in the elderly such as excessive anxiety, decreased self-confidence, and insomnia. This study aimed to determine The Effect of Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise to Reduce Insomnia in the Elderly in Community Health Centers of Bukittinggi, 2023. The type of study was Quasi-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Test. The reason for conducting this research was to find out whether there was a decrease in insomnia after being given Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise to the elderly. The population was 20 people who attended the elderly integrated services post activities at Community Health Center Bukittinggi. By using purposive sampling, 10 people were chosen as the samples. The study was conducted for 4 weeks with the instrument was the Insomnia Severity Index. The data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis by using the Wilcoxon Test. Based on the Wilcoxon Test, it showed that the p value was 0.005 less than 0.05 with an average insomnia before giving Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise was 11.50 and after 5.20. In short, there was an effect of Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise on Reducing Insomnia in the Elderly at Bukittinggi Community Health Centers in 2023. Abstrak: Lanjut usia adalah orang yang  mencapai usia 60 tahun ke atas. Seiring dengan bertambahnya usia, maka akan terjadi penurunan fungsi tubuh pada lansia, Kecemasan yang berlebihan, penurunan rasa percaya diri, insomnia, yang sering terlihat pada orang lanjut usia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise Terhadap Penurunan Insomnia Pada Lansia Di Puskesmas Kota Bukittinggi Tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi-Eksperimen Design One Group Pretest-Postest Test. Alasan di lakukan penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui adanya penurunan insomnia setelah di berikan Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise pada lansia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 orang yang hadir pada kegiatan posyandu lansia di Puskesmas Kota Bukittinggi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 10 orang. Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 minggu dengan isntrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Insomnia Saverity Index. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Test. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon Test menunjukan bahwa nilai p value 0,005 kurang dari 0,05 dengan rerata insomnia sebelum pemberian Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise adalah 11.50 dan sesudah 5.20. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh Pemberian Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise Terhadap Penurunan Insomnia Pada Lansia Di Puskesmas Kota Bukittinggi Tahun 2023.
