Abstract

Project Based Learning (PjBL) method can be as an alternative that might be used to solve problems in learning writing. This research aims to investigate whether the use of the PjBL method can help students in improving their ability and creativity in writing descriptive texts and explore the students’ perceptions regarding the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) method in writing. This research was conducted at FKIP Khairun University. The data sources as subjects in this research were 21 students in the English Language Education Study Program who were currently implementing courses English for Ecotourism. This research is pre-experimental research with quantitative research methods. Data collection methods were pre-test, post-test and using questionnaires. The results of this study show that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. The average score on the pre-test was 57.10 and the average score on the post-test was 84.95. T- calculated value = -9.337, sig value (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05. It means that the use of the PjBL method can improve student learning outcomes in descriptive writing learning. Based on the results of questionnaire analysis concerning the students’ perceptions of the implementation of the PjBL method in learning descriptive writing, the indicator of lecturer and student interaction was the highest with the "very good" category at 80.95%. It means that with the PjBL method, it is easier for students to interact with their lecturers in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Influence of Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT Andalan Duta Eka Nusantara South Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. This research method uses a quantitative method with an associative method, data collection used is a questionnaire with a sample of 90 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are: data validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test. The results obtained in the study based on the t-test on the Motivation variable t count (4.522> 1.987) are supported by the ρ value <Sig.0.05 or (0.001 <0.05) meaning that Motivation (X1) partially has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) and the work environment variable (X2) t count (9.006> 1.987) and is supported by the ρ value <Sig.0.05 or (0.001<0.05) meaning that the Work Environment (X2) partially has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). Meanwhile, based on the results of the F test, it was found that the F count value was 40.391> F table 3.095 with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Motivation (X1) and Work Environment (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Andalan Duta Eka Nusantara Tangerang Selatan. With a determination coefficient value of 48.1%, while the remainder of (100-48.1%) = 51.9% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

Father's support for breastfeeding is one of the factors that influence a mother to breastfeed exclusively. This study aims to find out the relationship between father's support and exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample for this study consists of 50 respondents who are mothers with babies aged 0-6 months who are registered at the Langsat Health Center. Sampling uses random sampling techniques. Data collection using questionnaires. Analysis in this study uses bivariate with the Chi-Square test. The result of the study on the characteristics of respondents aged 26-35 years is a total of 29 respondents (58%), the average number of respondents who are multiparous is 33 respondents (66%), the average ethnicity of the mother is Malay is 26 people. respondents (52%), the average mother's education, i.e. secondary education, was obtained by 34 respondents (68%), the average mother's occupation, i.e. not working, was obtained by 35 respondents (70%), while the father's education, i.e. secondary education, was obtained by 35 respondents (70%) and the average occupation of the father is self-employment. There are 21 respondents (42%). The results of the study showed that exclusive breastfeeding was obtained by 37 respondents (74%), and good breastfeeding father support was obtained by 25 respondents (50%). Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test showed a P value of 0.107 (P>0.05), meaning that there is no relationship between breastfeeding father support and exclusive breastfeeding. The community health center is expected to educate the community about the importance of the family's role in the influence of exclusive breastfeeding. Abstract

ADHD is a neurological developmental disorder that mostly affects children. Its characteristics in the form of inattention, disorganization and hyperactivity-impulsivity make it difficult for children to think and behave typically at home and at school. Researchers conducted a literature review on brain disorders in elementary school-aged children with ADHD to determine the level of damage and deviations that occurred. The method used was an integrative literature review using the PRISMA technique to extract 10 relevant articles from the Scopus and PubMed databases. The result is that the parts of the brain affected are the frontal, prefrontal, parietal, temporal, caudate, gyrus, cerebellum, and networks found in the brain such as the salience network, default mode network, and dorsal attention network. Elementary school age children (6 - 15 years) who have ADHD, regardless of sub-type, are prone to experiencing difficulties in sustained attention, response inhibition, memory and decision making. Parents and teachers are expected to help children's growth and development with disciplinary interventions such as understanding ADHD, collaboration with parties who frequently interact with children, consistent routines, a conducive environment, and positive reinforcement.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem that often occurs in elementary schools and can have a negative impact on children's psychological and social development. For this reason, Real Work Lecture (KKN) students from Padang State University conducted prevention activities through counseling and education about the dangers of bullying at SD Negeri 08 Indudur, IX Koto Sungai Lasi, Solok Regency. This activity aims to increase students' understanding of the definition and types of bullying, its impact on victims and perpetrators, and how to prevent and respond to bullying cases in the area and around the school. This activity uses an interactive presentation method with a participatory and educational approach. Based on the results of the activity, it shows that this education and counseling contributes to increasing students' awareness and understanding of bullying, thus helping to create a safer, more comfortable and friendly school atmosphere for all students.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 membuat perekonomian Indonesia mengalami penurunan daya beli konsumen. Cara meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia adalah memulihkan kepercayaan kelompok konsumen menengah atas yang masih memiliki daya beli. Tingkat kepercayaan tersebut akan mendorong peningkatan belanja barang dan jasa yang dijual oleh UKM . Promosi dengan menggunakan selebriti endorse melalui media sosial banyak digunakan Pelaku UKM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: mengukur pengaruh langsung selebriti endorse kepada keputusan membeli produk UKM dan mengukur pengaruh tidak langsung selebriti endorse terhadap keputusan membeli produk UKM melalui variabel ntervening tingkat kepercayaan kepada produk. Penelitian dilakukan di sekitar Jakarta, Bogor dan Depok, dengan populasi adalah kelompok menengah atas dengan penghasilan di atas 5 juta rupiah dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 90 orang. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive non-random sampling, teknik ini dipilih karena tidak adanya data yang pasti mengenai jumlah anggota populasinya. Alat analisis menggunakan Path Analysis. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan Selebriti Endorse hanya dapat mempengaruhi konsumen menengah atas untuk membeli produk UKM sebesar 3,1%, Sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung dari selebriti endorse mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen menengah atas untuk membeli produk UKM melalui variabel intervening tingkat kepercayaan kepada produk adalah sebesar 59%. Saran kepada Pelaku UKM, harus memilih selebriti endorse yang dapat memunculkan kepercayaan konsumen menengah atas kepada produk UKM. Kata Kunci: Selebriti Endorse, Produk UKM, Menengah Atas, Tingakat Kepercayaan.

Abstract

Waste management issues in schools are often caused by a lack of awareness and understanding among students regarding the importance of sorting and managing waste properly. The mentoring program for the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) at SDIT Salsabila Baiturahman aims to improve students’ awareness and understanding of waste management based on the 5R principles (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair) and implement the Sedekah Sampah program. The program was conducted through educational activities, including counseling and workshops, as well as the implementation of the Sedekah Sampah program. Results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of waste management, as evidenced by the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test (p-value = 0.000). The implementation also successfully supported school activities using funds generated from waste sales. This program contributes to character building in students, particularly in environmental awareness and collaboration, aligning with P5 goals.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Utama Berkah Kecamatan Buay Madang Timur. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Asosiatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 110 orang karyawan CV Utama Berkah. Sampel ditentukan sejumlah 54 orang yang di ambil secara Simple Random Sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer sebagai data utama, dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda, uji hipotesis (F dan t),serta koefisien determinasi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan 1) ada pengaruh signifikan variabel motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Utama Berkah, Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji F hitung 39,661 > F tabel 2,20 dan signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,10. 2) Ada pengaruh signifikan variabel motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Utama Berkah, Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t hitung 6,822 > t tabel 1,675 dan sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,10. 3) Ada pengaruh signifikan variable lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Utama Berkah, Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t hitung 4,510 > t tabel 1,675 dan signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,10. 4) Ada pengaruh signifikan variable disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Utama Berkah, Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t hitung 5,872 > t tabel 1,675 dan signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,10

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pelatihan komunikasi efektif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas aparatur Kelurahan Mendahara Ilir, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi, dalam pelayanan administrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman aparatur mengenai prinsip-prinsip komunikasi, baik verbal maupun non-verbal, serta kemampuan mendengar aktif dan mengelola emosi. Aparatur yang sebelumnya cenderung berkomunikasi satu arah kini lebih mampu menyampaikan informasi dengan jelas, ramah, dan responsif. Perubahan keterampilan ini berdampak langsung pada efisiensi pelayanan, peningkatan kepuasan masyarakat, serta terbangunnya hubungan yang lebih harmonis antara pemerintah kelurahan dan warga. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan komunikasi efektif merupakan strategi penting dalam mewujudkan tata kelola pelayanan publik yang profesional, humanis, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies and programs of oil palm plantation company PT. Subur Agro Makmur, as well as knowing the feedback from the community regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies and programs carried out by PT Subur Agro Makmur. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The method of determining research informants using Cluster sampling and Snowball sampling. Data collection techniques use field studies and literature studies. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed with techniques including data reduction, data presentation, and verification. In this study, researchers made direct visits to PT Subur Agro Makmur and the community. The results of the study found that PT SAM in 2021 had carried out a program of CSR activities covering the fields of community economic empowerment, education, health, environment, and religion with a claim of 100% achievement. The largest funds were channeled to the education sector and the smallest to the religious sector. CSR funds come from company administration, not from company profits. Reality shows that what PT SAM does not achieve a balance between the interests of internal and external stakeholders. CSR is used as a tool to achieve goals that are beneficial to PT SAM's internal stakeholders, but do not create great benefits for external stakeholders. The level of sustainability of the CSR programs implemented is also still relatively low. The response from the people who work for the company regarding CSR carried out by PT SAM is quite good. However, it was found that there was a latent conflict that threatened the sustainability of PT SAM, in which the responses from the community outside the plantation who did not work for PT SAM were mostly still negative about the company's existence and there was a feeling of dissatisfaction with CSR implemented by PT SAM. This can illustrate that the implementation of CSR, which is one of the implementations of GCG principles, cannot be said to be optimal, even though PT SAM claims that their CSR achievement during 2021 is 100%.  Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Community Economic Empowerment, Education, Health, Environment, Religion, GCG
