Abstract

AbstractThis research is interesting because it aims to photograph the efforts of educational units implementing the mobilization school program to achieve program objectives. The review was carried out on the conceptual research gap, namely the citizenship behavior of program implementers in their educational unit organizations. This qualitative research was carried out with a descriptive design. The research was conducted at SMAS An-Nizam Medan because it had been designated as a driving school, with a technique for determining respondents using purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using an interactive model. Efforts to transform education through driving schools at SMAS AN-Nizam Medan to create conditions and work environments that support: first, the implementation of the Pancasila student profile. Second, improving and equalizing the quality of driving school administrators. Third, create a collaborative climate between the driving school organizing elements in the school. The driving school organizing element is reflected in the school's elements to show concern and commitment in working highly dedicated to the transformation of education in schools. This reflection is a picture of the citizen good of an educational unit and the organizational citizenship behavior at SMAS AN-Nizam Medan.------------------AbstrakPenelitian ini menarik karena bertujuan untuk memotret upaya satuan pendidikan pelaksana program sekolah penggerak untuk mencapai tujuan program. Tinjauan dilakukan pada konseptual gap penelitian yaitu perilaku kewarganegaraan pelaksana program dalam organisasi satuan pendidikannya. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan desain deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAS An-Nizam Medan karena telah ditetapkan sebagai sekolah penggerak, dengan teknik penentuan responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif. Upaya transformasi pendidikan melalui sekolah penggerak di SMAS AN-Nizam Medan untuk menciptakan kondisi dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung: pertama, implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila. Kedua, peningkatan dan pemerataan kualitas penyelenggara sekolah penggerak. Ketiga, menciptakan iklim kolaboratif antar unsur penyelenggara sekolah penggerak di sekolah. Unsur penyelenggara sekolah menggerak tercermin dari unsur-unsur sekolah untuk menunjukkan kepedulian dan komitmen dalam bekerja yang berdedikasi tinggi untuk transformasi pendidikan di sekolah. Cerminan tersebut merupakan gambaran dari “warga satuan pendidikan yang baik” dan perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi di SMAS AN-Nizam Medan.

Abstract

Mengembangkan nilai-nilai karakter dan budaya bangsa “cinta tanah air” merupakan bagian yang tak terpisahkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran lagu nasional dalam meningkatkan karakter cinta tanah air pada anak.Penelitian ini dilakuan dengan menggunakanjenis penelitian kajian literatur, yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan berbagai sumber penelitian data terdahulu dan menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan mengenai peran lagu nasional dalam meningkatkan karakter cinta tanah air pada anakLagu merupakan sarana penyampaian pesan dengan berbagai cara.Lagu memiliki nilai seni dan menjadi media yang didengarkan oleh semua orang diseluruh dunia.Nilai nilai moral yang diungkapkan dalam lagu nasional mengandung semangat nasionalisme yang dapat menjadi modal dasar pengembangan karakter.lagu wajib nasional adalah lagu atau lagu yang melambangkan symbol negara dan telah diakui keabsahannya secara resmi.lagu nasional juga turut mempertebal rasa cinta tanah air khususnya Indonesia yang mewakili jati diri bangsa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian,didaptakan bahwa lagu nasional memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam membangun dan membentuk karakter dan semangat nasionalisme sejak dini pada anak.

Abstract

Degradasi moral di kalangan pelajar semakin menjadi isu serius dalam dunia pendidikan. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa adalah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan PKn dalam menghadapi degradasi moral di lingkungan sekolah. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode yang terstruktur untuk mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan menyimpulkan data dari berbagai sumber di perpustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menemukan keterkaitan antara peranan dari pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam mengatasi degradasi moral di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini ialah pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat mengurangi degradasi moral dan membentuk generasi yang lebih bertanggung jawab serta beretika. Hal ini akan menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih sadar akan hak dan kewajiban, sehingga mereka dapat berkontribusi positif terhadap lingkungan dan bangsa. Melalui penerapan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan, diharapkan individu-individu ini akan memiliki karakter yang kuat dan integritas tinggi, yang pada akhirnya dapat memperkuat tatanan sosial di masyarakat. Dengan demikian, diperlukan peran serta seluruh pemangku kepentingan, termasuk guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah, untuk memperkuat implementasi nilai-nilai yang diajarkan dalam PKn guna menghadapi tantangan degradasi moral di kalangan pelajar

Abstract

The use of social media has become an integral part of the lives of modern societies, significantly changing the way individuals and groups interact. Social media improves connectivity and access to information, facilitates the formation of virtual communities, and expands social networks. However, these changes also have negative impacts, such as disruption of face-to-face interaction and polarization in community groups. The type of research used is qualitative research using the literature study method or literature can be interpreted as a series of activities related to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials that use books, journals and other literature as the main object. The main source of this research data is research articles published in the last 10 years through the google scholar website. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results show that social media provides convenience in interacting and accessing information, but also poses challenges such as polarization, inaccurate information dissemination, and disruption in face-to-face interactions.

Abstract

Students who have high motivation to learn will be more active in learning and strive to achieve optimal achievements. On the other hand, students who have low motivation to learn tend to be lazy to study and not enthusiastic about participating in learning. This study aims to analyze the implications of students' home distance to school on students' learning motivation. The research method used by the author, namely literature study, is a research method that uses literature sources such as books, journals, articles, and research reports to collect data and information to answer research questions. The main source of data for this research is scientific articles published in various journals and indexed by google scholar. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the analysis are known that the distance from students' homes to schools certainly affects students' motivation to learn, therefore there are several actions that can be taken so that it can help students have a spirit of learning and the distance from their homes to school is not a barrier for them to learn and of course have high motivation to learn.

Abstract

The development of technology, communication, and information continues to increase in line with the inevitable flow of globalization. Globalization has a great impact on various aspects, especially education, where educators are required to be creative, master a wide range of skills and knowledge. This study uses a qualitative method with literature studies to examine various relevant literature in answering social studies learning problems in the era of globalization and cultural diversity. The main source of data is articles published in various scientific journals and indexed in the database on Google Scholar. The research stages consist of collecting literature, reading carefully, coding data, classifying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that in education, globalization has a great impact with technological advances that support this field, demanding that educators master diverse knowledge and skills. Although social studies are often underestimated, globalization brings positive and negative influences. The positive is the acceleration of the development of science, technology, and information, while the negative is the emergence of consumptive behavior. Social studies learning plays a role in developing people's social skills in the midst of globalization, equipping students with knowledge related to global issues around them

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of education on social mobility in urban communities. This research uses a qualitative approach through the literature study method. The data collection technique used is all materials that are in line with this writing problem, by examining the results of the research, citing books, studying theories related to the problem. The main source of research data is research articles published in various scientific journals and indexed on the google scholar database. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the analysis show that education has a significant impact on social mobility in urban communities, such as increasing social status, improving the economy, increasing opportunities, and increasing awareness. In the life of urban people, the increasing needs of life trigger the lifestyle tendency of materialism, consumerism, and hedonism, as well as the increase in violence, drug use, and the rapidly growing flow of information

Abstract

Education plays a significant role in shaping the character of students through a learning process that involves knowledge, understanding, and information conveyed by educators. Teacher ethics play a crucial role in ensuring quality education. As a teacher, creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment is essential to enhance student motivation and engagement in the learning process. This research adopts a descriptive method with a qualitative approach conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Medan. Data were collected through individual behavior observation and interviews with PPKn teachers. PPKn teachers are expected to possess skills such as effective questioning, providing motivation, classroom management, and creating learning variations. Various teaching methods utilized by PPKn teachers to create an interesting learning atmosphere include role play, group discussions, and the use of digital media. Learning while playing can assist students in better understanding and absorbing the learning materials.

Abstract

Food sales within school environments are a critical concern for student health, particularly regarding the potential presence of harmful substances in sold food. This study aims to evaluate the licensing of food sales at SMPN 28 Medan, focusing on identifying hazardous substances. The research methods include a literature review to understand regulations and food safety standards in schools, along with qualitative observations within the school environment to assess compliance with these regulations. Data were collected through interviews with school representatives and food vendors, as well as analysis of food samples to detect harmful substances such as excessive coloring and preservatives. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of compliance levels with licensing and food safety regulations and offer recommendations for schools to strengthen food sales monitoring to support a healthy environment for students

Abstract

This study explores Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) students’ perceptions of the impact of hazardous chemical use in food on community welfare. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, the research surveyed 300 students from various faculties closely related to health, economics, and education. Simple linear regression analysis revealed a significant positive correlation (coefficient = 0.578, p < 0.05) between the perceived use of hazardous chemicals in food and the perceived decline in community welfare. The R² value of 0.555 suggests that 55.5% of the variance in welfare perceptions is explained by the awareness of chemical use in food, with other factors such as government regulation and economic stability accounting for the remainder. The findings indicate that students are cognizant of the health risks and economic burdens posed by these chemicals, which affect the quality of life. This awareness underscores the importance of educational efforts in food safety and calls for stronger governmental oversight in food regulation. By raising awareness and implementing effective policies, both health and social welfare in the community could be significantly improved. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, penelitian ini mensurvei 300 mahasiswa dari berbagai fakultas yang berkaitan erat dengan kesehatan, ekonomi, dan pendidikan. Analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan (koefisien = 0,578, p <0,05) antara persepsi penggunaan bahan kimia berbahaya dalam makanan dan persepsi penurunan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Nilai R² sebesar 0,555 menunjukkan bahwa 55,5% dari varians dalam persepsi kesejahteraan dijelaskan oleh kesadaran akan penggunaan bahan kimia dalam makanan, dengan faktor-faktor lain seperti peraturan pemerintah dan stabilitas ekonomi menjelaskan sisanya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa para siswa sadar akan risiko kesehatan dan beban ekonomi yang ditimbulkan oleh bahan kimia ini, yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Kesadaran ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya upaya edukasi dalam keamanan pangan dan menyerukan pengawasan yang lebih kuat dari pemerintah dalam regulasi pangan. Dengan meningkatkan kesadaran dan menerapkan kebijakan yang efektif, kesehatan dan kesejahteraan sosial di masyarakat dapat ditingkatkan secara signifikan.
