Abstract

This study examines the buying and selling of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang accounts from the perspective of maqashid sharia and Islamic rationality. With the rapid growth of technology, online gaming has become a popular form of entertainment across all age groups, offering potential income opportunities. The research aims to assess whether these transactions bring more benefits (maslahah) than harms (mudharat), conserve natural resources, and align with Islamic principles. A qualitative research approach was employed to explore the mechanisms behind these transactions. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the practice. The study highlights that, according to maqashid sharia, evaluating an action requires considering both its positive and negative aspects. For instance, while the trade of khamr is prohibited due to its greater harms relative to benefits, exceptions are allowed in emergency situations—such as using khamr for medicinal purposes in controlled quantities. Using this analogy, the research suggests that despite technological advancements that support online game account trading, the practice may be considered irrational if it contradicts the Islamic rationality axiom that demands products be halal, thayyib, and free from waste. Ultimately, the study underscores the importance of applying traditional Islamic ethical frameworks to modern digital economic activities, ensuring that progress in technology is balanced with adherence to core Islamic values.

Abstract

This study explores the role of ice breaking in building positive interactions between teachers and students in the third grade of SDN Ciwedus using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation of 12 learning sessions, semi-structured interviews with teachers and the principal, focus group discussions with students, and analysis of learning documents. The results revealed that structured and contextual implementation of ice breaking contributes significantly to the transformation of educational interaction patterns into more collaborative and dialogical ones. Ice breaking was implemented at three strategic times (beginning of learning, transitions between materials, and during attention decreases) with a predominance of kinesthetic-based activities (42%). After ice breaking implementation, there was an identified increase in cognitive attention (89% of students), positive affective expression (94%), and more proactive interactive behavior (68%). Implementation constraints included time limitations, heterogeneity of student responsiveness, and challenges in maintaining relevance to learning substance. Adaptation strategies developed by teachers included integration of ice breaking as a pedagogical instrument and development of categorized activity banks. This study concludes that ice breaking plays a strategic role in forming a conducive learning ecosystem in lower grades, not only creating a pleasant atmosphere but also facilitating fundamental transformation in teacher-student relational dynamics.

Abstract

Abstract

Climate change has become a significant threat to water resources management in river basins (DAS). This article examines the impacts of climate change on water resources management, with a focus on changes in rainfall patterns, increasing temperatures, and effects on the hydrological cycle. Increased rainfall intensity and global temperatures have changed the characteristics of river discharge, affecting water availability for agriculture, households, and industry. Climate change also affects the hydrological cycle through changes in rainfall patterns, increasing temperatures, and changes in evapotranspiration. Studies have shown that increasing average temperatures and changing rainfall patterns in Indonesia have had significant impacts on water management in watersheds, including the Brantas and Citarum watersheds. In addition, land-use changes such as deforestation and urbanization exacerbate the impacts of climate change, increasing the risk of flooding and drought. Effective water resources management requires a holistic and adaptive approach, such as Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), which integrates various sectors and interests in water management. The implementation of IWRM in Indonesia has shown mixed results, with some watersheds successfully adopting this approach, while others face obstacles such as lack of coordination between agencies and limited accurate hydrological data. Innovative and participatory adaptive approaches to water management are needed to address challenges caused by climate change, ensure sustainability of water resources, and maintain ecosystem balance. This article emphasizes the importance of local community involvement and development of climate-resilient water infrastructure in water resource management in the basin

Abstract

The poem "Aku" by Chairil Anwar is one of the most famous and meaningful works of Indonesian literature. This poem not only talks about individualism and existentialism, but also reflects the social and political conditions of Indonesia during the Revolution. In this journal, the author will analyze the poem "Aku" using the author's sociological approach to understand its social meaning and historical context. The author's sociological approach sees literary works as social products that are shaped by the socio-political conditions of the author and his time. By analyzing Chairil Anwar's biography and the socio-political context of Indonesia in the 1940s, the author will show how the poem "Aku" is a reflection of social reality and the individual's struggle to find meaning in a turbulent situation. This analysis will show that the poem "I" is not only about a statement of individualism, but also about a critique of oppression and injustice. Chairil Anwar uses his poetry to voice his concerns about colonialism and feudalism, as well as to fight for independence and social justice.
