Abstract

The education curriculum in Indonesia has undergone eleven revisions since independence, which is often not matched by adequate preparedness of educators and education infrastructure. This research aims to explore the meaning of the curriculum in depth from historical and contemporary perspectives, as well as compare curricula from various periods to provide a comprehensive understanding. The research method used is a qualitative approach through literature study and content analysis of scientific journals, textbooks, official government documents, and other relevant articles and publications. The results show that the curriculum in Indonesia continues to develop and adapt to social and technological changes. The 1947 curriculum emphasized national values and life skills, the 1952 curriculum focused on the relevance of the material to daily life, while the subsequent curriculum continued to adapt to the times. Curriculum implementation faces various challenges, including disparities in the quality of education between urban and rural areas and teachers' lack of preparation for curriculum changes. This research highlights the importance of a curriculum that is relevant to the needs of society and technological developments so that graduates can compete at the global level. The curriculum should be able to shape students' characters and prepare them for future challenges, with an emphasis on character and competency development.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to discuss strategies to improve the quality of education, which is one of the important components in the education system. The background of this research is that teachers often face challenges in dealing with children with diverse characteristics. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interviews with teachers and principals. The results show that Permata Bunda Kindergarten implements several key strategies to improve the quality of education. First, improving teachers' competencies through regular training focused on creative and innovative teaching methods. Second, developing a character-based curriculum that emphasizes moral and social values, as well as skills. Third, improving learning facilities and resources, including the provision of educational teaching aids and play areas. Fourth, active participation of parents in the education process through effective cooperation and communication between schools and parents.

Abstract

Illegal fishing is a crime that causes one party to suffer losses. Consequently, fishing activities in Indonesian waters must adhere to the regulations. The purpose of creating a legal regulation is to establish a provision and legal protection in order to maintain peace within an organisation in the event of a conflict. In this instance, the existence of panglima laot in carrying out the function of customary law is one of the role models for the order of community life in resolving the issue of unauthorized fishing on Rumpon Unjam or other people's platforms. This research seeks to determine how the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing in Rumpun Unjam is governed by customary law with the function of panglima laot, as well as the review of Islamic law on the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing in Rumpon Unjam under customary law with the function of panglima laot. This research uses field research as its methodology. Among the methods of data collection are observation and interviews. The findings of this study indicate that the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing crimes in Rumpon Unjam, which are resolved by customary law by the Sea commander, is appropriate because the customary law imposed on the perpetrator requires a deterrent effect so that he or she will not repeat the same act by receiving appropriate sanctions for the sake of justice for the victim. According to a review of Islamic law, the mechanism for resolving illegal fishing crimes in Rumpun Unjam people who are resolved by custom by the commander of the laot is in accordance with the punishment recommended by the Qur'an because it uses ta'zir law, which is a punishment decision from the regional ruler, and the punishment imposed is appropriate retribution for the actions committed. When viewed from the victim's perspective, the imposed punishment is consistent with Islamic law because it satisfies the victim's sense of justice.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memsosialisasikan dan memberikan tambahan pengetahuan kepada UMKM tentang Inovasi Keuangan Digital (IKD) yang dapat bermanfaat dalam pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Lebih jauh, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu UMKM dalam menignkatkan literasi keuangannya. Untuk mencapai tujuan, metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah ceramah diskusi. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tekait dengan Inovasi Keuangan Digital yang ditandai dengan peningkatan nilai dari 55 menjadi 80 dan dokumentasi kegiatan PKM. Peningkatan nilai ini menandakan adanya peningkatan pengetahun peserta terkait IKD. Peserta terlihat antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini.  Pelaku UMKM dapat memahami pengelolaan keuangan dengan memanfaatkan fintech melalui IKD.

Abstract

The problem of student character degradation is an urgency in this day and age because there are many phenomena of student behavior now that lack of polite and moral manners. This can cause a decrease in religious character values that are embedded in religious norms. This study focuses on exploring the strategies used by the principal of SDN Panangian in improving religious character in students by implementing religious programs carried out as a step to improve students' religious character in elementary education institution. The research method used is a qualitative design with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal and 8 teachers involved, observation of activities, and analysis of related documents. The results showed that elementary school adopt various strategies in improving students' religious character through religious programs such as; (1) Tahsin, (2) Tahfidz, (3) Dhuha Prayers in Congregation, (4) Dzuhur Prayers in Congregation, (5) Reading Surah Yasin, Al Waqiah and Al Mulk, (6) Tadaruss Al Qur'an, (7) Reciting of Short Surahs (Juz Amma) Every Morning. The strategy of implementing this religious program also collaborates with the STIQ college (College of Qur'anic Studies) as an accelerated step in improving students character and this strategy has provided results in improving students' religious character such as Taqwa, Politeness, Honesty, Responsibility and Discipline, accustomed to daily worship activities at school and creating an environment of elementary educational institution with Islamic character.

Abstract

 ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan prototipe media pembelajaran multimedia yang efektif dan interaktif guna meningkatkan pemahaman identitas nasional pada siswa sekolah dasar. Dalam konteks globalisasi yang pesat, generasi muda Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan kebanggaan terhadap identitas nasional akibat pengaruh budaya asing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model prototipe sebagai kerangka pengembangan. Proses penelitian melibatkan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain prototipe, implementasi, evaluasi, dan pengujian media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, mempermudah pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai nasionalisme, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan interaktif. Media pembelajaran ini dirancang dengan elemen visual dan audio yang relevan, mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dan sejarah bangsa untuk memperkuat rasa bangga terhadap identitas nasional. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada upaya menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya berprestasi secara akademis tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran dan kecintaan terhadap budaya serta identitas nasional Indonesia.

Abstract

The following text presents a synopsis of the abstract. As the conflict between Israel and Palestine intensifies, the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) has issued a fatwa that has generated controversy in various mass media, particularly on social media platforms. The objective of this study is to examine whether the "fatwa" issued by the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) constitutes a legitimate threat against Israeli products or a misinterpretation of the fatwa within the community. The research method employed is qualitative, with a descriptive-analytical approach. The secondary data set comprises social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, as well as websites relevant to the author's research. The primary data was obtained through interviews with various stakeholders, including consumers, MUI members, pro-Palestinian activists, and digital communication experts. The results indicated that misinterpretations of the fatwa led to public disorder, characterized by ambiguity in public perception, social pressures encouraging boycott conformity, and exacerbated consumer confusion due to digital misinformation. This research highlights the importance of religious literacy and the need to establish information authority within the digital landscape.AbstrakSeiring memanasnya konflik antara Israel dan Palestina, Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) mengeluarkan fatwa yang menuai kontroversi di berbagai media massa, khususnya media sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji apakah fatwa yang dikeluarkan oleh Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) tersebut hanya sekadar ancaman bebas terhadap produk Israel atau merupakan kesalahpahaman terhadap fatwa tersebut di tengah masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis; data sekunder meliputi media sosial seperti Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, dan situs web yang terkait dengan penelitian penulis; dan data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan berbagai pemangku kepentingan, meliputi konsumen, anggota MUI, aktivis pro-Palestina, dan pakar komunikasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kesalahpahaman mengenai fatwa yang menimbulkan kekacauan di ruang publik, yang berujung pada ambiguitas persepsi publik terhadap fatwa tersebut, tekanan sosial yang mendorong konformitas dalam aksi boikot, serta peran misinformasi digital yang memperparah kebingungan konsumen. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya literasi agama dan penguatan otoritas informasi dalam konteks digital.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the application of the outdoor study-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model through cooking class activities in instilling the values of cooperation in students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is collected through direct observation during cooking class activities at SD Eko Pesantren. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL in cooking class activities effectively improved students' cooperation skills, which included interaction and communication, cohesiveness, active participation, and mutual help and respect. In addition, this activity also contributed to the development of students' social skills, creativity, and learning motivation. This hands-on learning process allows students to internalize the values of cooperation deeply through activities that are relevant to everyday life. Thus, this learning model can be an effective alternative to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools, especially in building collaborative character in the younger generation. Keywords: Project Based Learning (PjBL), Cooking Class, Cooperation Value.   ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis outdoor study melalui kegiatan cooking class dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kerja sama pada peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung selama kegiatan cooking class di SD Eko Pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PjBL dalam kegiatan cooking class secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa, yang meliputi interaksi dan komunikasi, kekompakan, partisipasi aktif, serta sikap saling membantu dan menghargai. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan sosial, kreativitas, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan pengalaman langsung ini memungkinkan siswa untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai kerja sama secara mendalam melalui aktivitas yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam membangun karakter kolaboratif pada generasi muda. Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning (PjBL), Cooking Class, Nilai Kerjasama

Abstract

Bau badan adalah aroma tidak sedap yang timbul karena keringat yang bercampur dengan bakteri kulit. Parfum adalah salah satu produk kosmetik yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi bau badan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk formulasi dan evaluasi sediaan parfum dengan menggunakan bahan pewangi alami sebagai aroma dan minyak nilam fraksi berat sebagai agen pengikat. Ada dua fase metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan parfum, yaitu formulasi dan evaluasi sediaan. Formulasi dibuat dalam empat sediaan formula dengan perentase minyak nilam fraksi berat sebagai (MNFB) yang berbeda beda yaitu F0 (0%); F1 (0,25%); F2 (0,5%); dan F3 (0,75%). Evaluasi sediaan parfum yang dilakukan yaitu berupa uji homogenitas, berat jenis, pH, spot, uji SPL (sillage, projection, dan longevity), uji siklus dipercepat dan uji hedonik. Hasil uji homogenitas, berat jenis, pH, dan uji spot memperlihatkan bahwa semua sediaan sesuai dengan standar. Uji SPL memperlihatkan bahwa sediaan F3 mempunyai ketahanan aroma yang paling lama yaitu 96 jam, diikuti oleh F2 (87 jam), F1 (80 jam), dan F0 (68 jam). Uji hedonik memperlihatkan bahwa sediaan F3 mempunyai longevity yang paling baik dibandingkan dengan sediaan lainnya, serta lebih disukai karena memiliki warna, aroma dan kejernihan yang paling baik dibandingkan dengan sediaan lainnya.

Abstract

Pengetahuan perawat terhadap self care deficit melibatkan pemahaman tentang konsep self care. Perawat harus memahami konsep dasar self care, termasuk aktivitas sehari-hari yang memperhatikan perawatan diri seperti menjaga kebersihan diri, makan/minum, berhias diri dan toileting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan perawat terhadap self care deficit pada pasien gangguan jiwa di RSUD dr Fauziah Bireuen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perawat ruang UPIP di Wilayah Kerja RSUD Dr Fauziah Bireuen berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah total sampling berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada tanggal 26 September sampai dengan 06 Oktober 2024. Hasil uji univariat diperoleh mayoritas pengetahuan perawat di RSUD dr Fauziah Bireuen sebagian besar pada kategori cukup dengan frekuensi 9 orang (45%) dan mayoritas self care deficit di RSUD dr Fauziah Bireuen sebagian besar pada kategori buruk dengan frekuensi 11 orang (55%). Hasil analisis bivariat didapatkan nilai ρ (0,003) < α (0,05), yang berarti ada hubungan pengetahuan perawat terhadap self care deficit pada pasien gangguan jiwa di RSUD dr Fauziah Bireuen. Diharapkan pada perawat dapat memberi informasi untuk menambah wawasan tentang penanganan masalah keperawatan jiwa terutama pengetahuan dan self care deficit
