AbstractThe title of this research is "the role of parents in child formal education to the family of rice farmers in paling hamlet sub-district of Sanggau Ledoâ€. The subproblems of the research are how the role of parents as facilitators, how the role of parents as a motivator, and how the role of parents as mentors in the formal education of child in the families of rice farmers in the sub-districts of Sanggau Ledo. the method used is qualitative with descriptive type. Data collection tools are guidelines for observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that 1) the role of parents as facilitators is good enough for parents, where parents are directly involved in helping children learn at home and parents provide learning facilities. 2) the role of motivator is also good enough by parents, where parents have provided encouragement and motivation to children to learn, parents also give encouragement to children to take extracurricular in school and give awards and words of praise to children's learning achievements. 3) the role of parents as mentors is good enough for parents, where parents want to help children learn at home even though not fully, because the parents' education is still low. parents also regulate children's learning time by always reminding and telling their children to study at night, they also forbid their children to watch TV before studying.  Keywords: Role of Parents, Child Formal Education, Family of Rice Farmers

AbstractThe title of this research is "Social Control of Adolescent Smokers by Family in Dusun Kenanai Desa Piantus Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas". A common problem in this study is how the social control of adolescent smokers by families in Dusun Kenanai Desa Piantus Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas? with sub issues (1) What is the prevention of preventive family control of adolescent smokers in the Dusun Kenanai Desa Piantus Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas? (2) How to form the social control of teenage smoker by family repressively in Dusun Kenanai Desa Piantus Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. This study aims to determine the form of preventive and repressive social control carried out by teenage family smokers. The method used is qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection tool uses observation guidelines, interviews and documentation. The results of the study were (1) preventive social control in the form of advice has been done well, it is seen with the giving of advice made by parents though with limited time. While in the form of guidance has not done well, it is seen with the lack of exemplary father to not smoke, making it a bad example for teenagers. (2) repressive social control in the form of reprimands has been done fairly well, this is seen with the provision of reprimands made by both parents, even though his own father smoking. While in the form of punishment has not been done with the maximum because parents only give punishment in the form of rebuking with words for long term without any variation of punishment and do not provide deterrent effect.Keywords: Social Control, Adolescent Smoker, Family

Abstract The general problem in this research is how the role of sociology teacher in increasing the learning motivation of students in class X sman 1 nanga taman. In this research the method used is descriptive method with qualitative research form. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, direct communication techniques and documentary study techniques, while the data collection tools used are observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the sociology teacher in increasing student motivation in class X is good, seen from the efforts of teacher who actively approach the students and continue to try to provide guidance and training in learning activities, so students are more motivated to take part in learning and understand what is being conveyed.In addition the teacher also provides input to students whose achievements are still lacking, and provide assistance to students who need to be given additional intensive lessons. The title of this study is "The impact of the habit of social irregularities of drinking alcohol at the students of Kapuas Hulu Regency". A general problem of research is how the impact of drinking habits at the students of Kapuas Hulu Regency on Jl. Budi Karya Pontianak. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the impact of drinking habits on lectures and interactions of Kapuas Hulu students. The approach used is qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and lectures documentation, with data collection tools such as observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The analysis in this study is presented descriptively qualitative by using informans as many as 16 people, consisting of 13 students who do social deviation drinking alcohol as a subject and 3 people as crosschek community. The results of this study indicate that the habit of social deviation drinking badly affect the lectures and interactions of Kapuas Hulu Kapuas students with the community. Based on the observations, interviews, and documentation that the researchers have conducted, proves that the habit of social deviation from drinking can be bad for the lectures and interaction of Kapuas Hulu students with the community. Keywords: Social Deviance, Habit of Drinking Â

 AbstractThis study aims to find out how the social interaction of school dropouts with children who are still in school in the Tiang Aji Menjalin hamlet. In this study the method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques namely observation techniques, interviews and documentary studies. Sources of data in this study drop out of school children and children who are still in school and the head of the Tiang Aji Menjalin Hamlet. The results showed that: 1) The imitation factor that led to social interaction between school dropouts and children who were still in school was more imitating the behavior of their negative social group friends, such as consuming alcohol and smoking if they got along. 2) Factors suggesting that the social interaction of school dropouts with children still attending school is more influential given to school dropouts for children who are still in school because the majority of their associate friends are school dropouts, the negative influence of school dropouts influences attitudes and behavior of children who are still in school. Keywords: Social Interaction, Dropout Children School and Children Still   School.

Abstract This study aimed to find out the role of scavenger parentsin supporting formal education in children (Study in the Landfill in Kelurahan Batulayang). The method used was a qualitative method with descriptive analysisand the technique of data collection for observation, interviews and documentation study. The results of this study showed that the role of parents in giving the formal education for children has been done. This was proven by the scavenger family at Landfill in Kelurahan Batulayang 1) The Role of Scavenger Parents as Motivator, Parents played a role in encouraging their children to be directedand enthusiastic to go to school by helping, supervising, and giving the direction when children are at home. 2) The role of Scavenger Parents as Facilitator was also done, by fulfilling the needs and school supplies for their children, they know the development of facilities that must be fulfilled by asking the teacher of their children, and the needsin supporting the formal education of children has been fulfilled. 3) The Role of Scavenger Parents as Mediators, namely their parents maintainedthe communication with their childrenso that the childrenwere open to sharing their activities and problems with both the teacher or their friends, so that parents easily become mediators in overcoming all their children's problems.                        AbstractThe title of this research was “Analysis of the Implementation of Politeness Values by Sociology Teachers in Class XI IPS 3 MAN 1 Pontianakâ€. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing politeness values implemented by students under the guidance of sociology teachers in class XI IPS 3 MAN 1 Ponianak and the impact of implementing politeness values applied by students under the guidance of sociology teachers in class XI IPS 3 MAN 1 Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive method with qualitative research forms. The data source of his research was the sociology Teacher and Students of XI IPS 3 MAN 1 Pontianak class. Data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews and documentation, while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interviews guides and documentation, while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 4 informants. The result showed that 1. In its application, it was done by always giving advice and reprimands to student directly both in the classroom and outside the classroom. 2. The impact of the implementation of politeness values had a lot of positive impacts on students, as a whole in the classroom attributes, speak and be polite to teachers and peers, and greet each other in the scope of the school.  Keywords: Implementation, Politeness, Teacher.

Abstract The goal of this study is to know the social conflict that occurs between citizen and the officers of waste management landfills (TPA) on Jl. Kebangkitan Sosial, North Pontianak. Furthermore, this study use a qualitative approach with descriptive methodology. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data are analysed and presented in the form of descriptive qualitative data. There are 4 informants, consisting of two citizen from different neighbourhood (RT) and two officers from the waste landfill management institution. The results of this study indicate that 1) the cause of this conflict is the rapid social change in the community, additionally the less effective in controlling leachate caused the waste to overflow and pollute the citizens' water sources during the rainy season; 2) the impact of the conflict is the management of waste landfill began to improve their work system and fix the special canal that accommodate leachate waste; and 3) the efforts to overcome conflicts that occur between the citizen and the officers of waste management institutions on Jl. Kebangkitan Nasional is using mediation, where the problems are discussed and try to find the solutions together. Key words: Social conflik, Waste, Contamination

Abstrak: Judul Skripsi ini adalah “Interaksi Sosial Asosiatif Antara Etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura di Desa Sungai Kunyit Laut Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Mempawahâ€. Masalah umum didalam skripsi ini adalah bentuk interaksi sosial antara Etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura di Desa Sungai Kunyit Laut Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Mempawah. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat interaksi sosial asosiatif dalam bentuk kerja sama antara Etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriftif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Etnis dari Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura dalam hal kerja sama untuk bentuk aktivitas tolong menolong masih sangat kurang sedangkan untuk berkoalisi ada beberapa dari etnis tersebut yang bekerjasama seperti dalam hal perdagangan yang melibatkan beberapa orang dari masing – masing etnis tersebut. Selanjutnya latar belakang dari masyarakat masing - masing etnis tersebut antara satu dengan yang lainnya tidak ada kedekatan yang sangat erat di dalam kehidupan sehari – hari. Kata Kunci : Interaksi Sosial Asosiatif, etnis Melayu, Tionghoa dan Madura. Abstract: The title of this thesis is "Socio-Socio-Social Interaction Between Ethnic Malays, Tionghoa and Madura in Kunyit River Village of Laut Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Mempawah". A common problem in this thesis is the form of social interaction between ethnic Malays, Chinese and Madurese in Kunyit River Village of Sungai Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Mempawah Regency. This thesis aims to determine the level of social interaction associative in the form of cooperation between ethnic Malays, Chinese and Madurese. This thesis uses descriptive research method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and literature studies. The data collection tool uses interview and documentation guidelines. The results of this study indicate that ethnic from Malay, Chinese and Madurese in terms of cooperation for the form of helping activity is still very lacking while for the coalition there are some of these ethnic who cooperate as in the case of trade involving several people from each ethnic group. Furthermore, the background of each ethnic society between one another does not have a very close closeness in everyday life.Keywords: Social Interaction Asosiatif, ethnic Malays, Chinese and Madurese.Â

The application of technology in the educational process is a challenge for the next generation to face the revolution in the development of learning and technology. One of the applications is based on e-Learning through edmodo. The application of technology is also expected to be in harmony with the growth of the character of the nation, especially the character of students. The research objective is to find out the improvement of character education strengthening through edmodo-based e-learning learning. The research method is action research. The results of this study have increased the value of honest character, discipline character and responsibility character from cycle I and cycle II. It can be concluded that the Edmodo application can be used as a learning medium for e-learning.
