Abstract

This study analyzed characters of Preman, an anthology of short story written by an outstdanding Javanese author, Tiwiek SA and its implication to teaching Javanese for secondary school students.  The analyses focused on characterization, theme and title of the short story pertaining.  Structural anaysis was used in this study as research design.  Primary data of this study were 6 text of Javanese short story written in anthology entitled Preman.  Secondary data include result of interview to the author.  The study revealed that characters reflected Javanese society.  Themes of the shortstory attracted the readers to read the contents as the interesting issues.  The titles of the short story implicated that indigenous Javanese native speakers can improve and maintain Javanese culture and sociolinguistics.  Accordingly, the short story contributes substantial effects on teaching Javanese for secondary school students from which teaching materials and authentic data are derived.

Abstract

The research examines the augmentation of biogas generation through the co-digestion of Indigofera tinctoria waste and cow manure, emphasising the optimization of parameters for enhanced efficiency. Anaerobic digestion presents potential for sustainable waste management and renewable energy generation. The initial discussion underscores the significance of Indigofera tinctoria, alongside challenges in managing agricultural and organic waste. The methodology encompasses substrate preparation, reactor design, and biogas utilization for electricity generation. Results indicate that substrate feeding rates and pH levels significantly influence biogas production, with optimal efficiency observed when pH is maintained between 6 and 7. Feeding rates are identified as a critical factor, highlighting the necessity for precise optimization. Additionally, managing hydrogen sulfide content is vital to mitigate corrosion risks, which can be addressed through adjustments to substrate composition. An interaction analysis between substrate feeding rates and pH revealed no significant combined effects, emphasizing the importance of understanding individual parameter dynamics to maximize production efficiency. Optimal load conditions were identified, with diminishing returns observed beyond a specific threshold. This study provides valuable insights into improving biogas production efficiency from Indigofera tinctoria waste and cow manure. Key recommendations include the optimization of substrate composition and stringent pH regulation to promote sustainable biogas production practices. Future research is encouraged to further refine biogas technology and advance its application in renewable energy systems.

Abstract

Weibull Regression Model (WR) is the Weibull distribution in which scale parameter is stated in the regression parameter. WR model derived from the interrelated functions of Weibull Distribution, consisting of Weibull survival regression model, Weibull cumulative distribution regression model, Weibull hazard regression model, and Weibull mean regression. The purpose of this study was to obtain the pollution potential information of river water in east Kalimantan and to obtain the factors that influence it through RW modeling on dissolved oxygen (DO) data in 2022. Research data is secondary data provided by life inveronment of East Kalimantan Province. The parameter estimation method is maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). The study concluded the pollution potential information of river water in east Kalimantan Timur based on modeling RW DO data consists of the chance the unpolluted river water is 0.6868, chance of polluted river water is 0.3132, the water pollution rate is 0.4349 locations/ ppm, and average river water DO is 5.6003 ppm. Factors that influence the pollution potential of river water is nitrite concentration, water temperature, and degree of water color.

Abstract

When applied to spatial panel data, the Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) model is a localized version of the linear regression model. The Fixed Effect Model (FEM) inside estimator is used as a global model in this investigation. The purpose of this research is to obtain a GWPR model and identify the variables that affect the proportion of the impoverished in 56 districts and cities located in Kalimantan's humid tropical forest region between 2019 and 2022. The Weighted Least Square (WLS) approach, which provides geographic weighting in addition to the Least Square method, is used for estimating the parameters of the GWPR model. The optimal weighting function chosen from the adaptive bisquare, adaptive tricube, and adaptive gaussian weightings is the spatial weighting function used in the GWPR model estimate in this work. For determining the ideal bandwidth, the Cross Validation (CV) criterion is applied. According to the study's findings, the optimal weighting function is adaptive gaussian, which yields the best GWPR model with a CV of 8.8740 at the lowest. The GWPR model parameters were tested, and the results showed that both local and global influences affect the percentage of the population living in poverty. The gross domestic product (GDP), the open unemployment rate, the average length of education, the number of workers, and life expectancy are local factors that affect the percentage of the poor; on the other hand, the number of workers is a global factor that affects the percentage of the poor.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara status sosial ekonomi orang tua dan motivasi kerja dengan persepsi kesiapan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII program keahlian teknin instalasi tenaga listrik di SMK Negeri 34 Jakarta. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) tidak terdapat hubungan antara variablel status sosial ekonomi orang tua dengan persepsi kesiapan kerja, dimana nilai signifikansi > 0,05 yaitu 0,056 dan nilai rhitung < rtabel (-0,259 < 0,266) (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara  motivasi kerja dengan persepsi kesiapan kerja , dimana nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu <0,001 dan nilai rhitung < rtabel (0,750 < 0,266) dengan arah positif (rhitung > 0) (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara status sosial ekonomi orang tua dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama dengan persepsi kesiapan kerja dengan tingkat hubungan yang tinggi dengan nilai signifikansi yaitu < 0,001 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05 yaitu (<0,001 < 0,05) dan nilai rhitung < rtabel (0,753 > 0,266) dengan arah positif (rhitung > 0), menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara status sosial ekonomi orang tua dan motivasi kerja dengan persepsi kesiapan kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 56,7%. Abstract This study aims to determine the correlation between the socio-economic status of parents and work motivation with the perception of work readiness. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were class XII students of the electrical installation engineering expertise program at SMK Negeri 34 Jakarta. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. The results of the study showed: (1) there was no relationship between the variables of the socio-economic status of parents and the perception of work readiness, where the significance value > 0.05, namely 0.056 and the calculated rvalue< rtable (-0.259 < 0.266) (2) there was a positive and significant relationship between work motivation and the perception of work readiness, where the significance value < 0.05, namely <0.001 and the calculated rvalue < rtable (0.750 < 0.266) with a positive direction (rvalue > 0) (3) there was a positive and significant relationship between the socio-economic status of parents and work motivation together with the perception of work readiness with a high level of relationship with a significance value of < 0.001 which means less than 0.05, namely (<0.001 < 0.05) and the calculated rvalue < rtable (0.753 > 0.266) with a positive direction (rvalue > 0), indicating that there was a positive relationship. and significant between the socio-economic status of parents and work motivation with the perception of work readiness with a contribution of 56.7%.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dan kedisiplinan dengan budaya K3 di bengkel motor listrik Program Keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri SMKN 7 Bekasi. Masalah penelitian berkaitan dengan kurangnya pemahaman tentang kekuatan hubungan antar variabel. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas Teknik Otomasi Industri kelas X Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 45 siswa/i. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan sampel yang dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling yang artinya pengambilan anggota sampel dari populasi dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada didalam populasi itu. Analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari validasi ahli dan respon peserta didik. Hasil pengambilan data menggunakan alat uji IBM SPSS 27 version memperoleh hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dengan budaya K3 di bengkel motor listrik seperti yang ditunjukkan pada nilai r_hitung  > r_(tabel )(0,537 > 0,312) dan uji-t dengan t_(tabel )> t_hitung (3,235 > 2,026; (2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan dengan budaya K3 di bengkel motor listrik seperti yang ditunjukkan pada nilai r_hitung  > r_(tabel )(0,469 > 0,312) dan uji-t dengan t_(tabel )> t_hitung (2,516 > 2,026); (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dan kedisiplinan secara bersama-sama dengan budaya K3 di bengkel motor listrik seperti yang ditunjukkan pada nilai r_hitung  > r_(tabel ) (0,626 > 0,279) dan uji-F dengan F_tabel > F_(hitung )(11,924 > 3,25). Abstract  This research aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and discipline and K3 culture in the electric motorbike workshop of the Industrial Automation Engineering Skills Program at SMKN 7 Bekasi. Research problems relate to a lack of understanding of the strength of relationships between variables. The population in this study were students in the Industrial Automation Engineering class, class random without paying attention to the strata in the population. Data analysis uses quantitative data obtained from expert validation and student responses. The results of data collection using the IBM SPSS 27 version test tool showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and K3 culture in electric motorbike workshops as shown in the value of rcount > rtable(0.537 > 0.312) and  ttest with ttable> tcount (3.235 > 2.026; (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between discipline and K3 culture in electric motorbike workshops as shown in the rcount > rtable (0.469 > 0.312) and t-test with  ttable> tcount (2.516 > 2.026); (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and discipline together with K3 culture in the workshop electric motor as shown in the value of rcount > rtable (0.626 > 0.279) and Ftest with Ftable > Fcount (11.924 > 3.25).

Abstract

Abstrak Pencahayaan dan kebisingan merupakan dua faktor dalam lingkungan kerja fisik yang dapat memengaruhi tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai. Kondisi pencahayaan yang memadai, seperti cahaya yang cukup terang untuk membaca indikator alat atau melihat area kerja dengan jelas, dapat menciptakan rasa nyaman dan aman. Sementara itu, kebisingan berlebih di tempat kerja dapat menjadi gangguan serius yang memengaruhi fokus dan kenyamanan sehingga memengaruhi kualitas kerja mereka. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang disebarkan ke 55 orang responden. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui antara korelasi antara persepsi pencahayaan dan kebisingan dengan kepuasan kerja di PT. PLN Indonesia Power Unit Bisnis Pembangkitan Priok. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (a) terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi pencahayaan dengan kepuasan kerja, dimana nilai rhitung>rtabel yaitu pada rentang (0,488>0,266). (b) terdapat hubungan negatif antara persepsi kebisingan dengan kepuasan kerja, dimana nilai rhitung<rtabel yaitu pada rentang (-0,036<0,266). (c) terdapat hubungan antara persepsi pencahayaan dan kebisingan secara bersama sama dengan kepuasan kerja, dimana nilai fhitung>ftabel (8,154>3,175) dengan nilai signifikansi <0,001 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05. Abstract Lighting and noise are two factors in the physical work environment that can affect employees' job satisfaction levels. Adequate lighting conditions, such as light bright enough to read tool indicators or see the work area clearly, can create a sense of comfort and security. Meanwhile, excessive noise in the workplace can be a serious distraction that affects focus and comfort, affecting the quality of their work. The data collection method used a questionnaire distributed to 55 respondents. This study aims to determine the correlation between the perception of lighting and noise with job satisfaction at PT. PLN Indonesia Power Priok Generating Business Unit. The data analysis technique used is correlation. The results showed: (a) there is a positive relationship between lighting perception and job satisfaction, where the value of rcount> table is in the range (0.488>0.266). (b) there is a negative relationship between noise perception and job satisfaction, where the value of rcount<rtable is in the range (-0.036 < 0.266). (c) there is a relationship between the perception of lighting and noise together with job satisfaction, where the value of fcount>ftabel (8.154>3.175) with a significance value of <0.001 which means smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TITL SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta; (2) untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan  antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TITL SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta; (3) untuk mengetahui hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat memilih jurusan dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TITL SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta; (4) untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga, motivasi belajar, dan minat memilih jurusan secara bersama sama dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TITL SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah 79 siswa kelas X TITL, dengan sampel sebanyak 66 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada variabel X1, X2, dan X3 menggunakan data primer yaitu angket, dan variabel Y menggunakan data sekunder yaitu nilai rapor semester ganjil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai rhitung  sebesar 0,572 lebih besar dari  rtabel sebesar 0,242 dengan signifikansi 5%; (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar, dengan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,532 lebih besar dari rtabel= 0,242 dengan signifikansi 5% (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat memilih jurusan dengan prestasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,648 lebih besar dari rtabel sebesar 0,242 dengan signifikansi 5%; (4) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga, motivasi belajar, dan minat memilih jurusan secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi belajar, nilai  sebesar 22,459 lebih besar dari sebesar 2,75 dengan signifikansi 5%. Abstract This study aims to: (1) determine the positive and significant relationship between the family environment and the academic achievement of Grade X TITL students at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta; (2) determine the positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and the academic achievement of Grade X TITL students at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta; (3) determine the positive and significant relationship between interest in choosing a major and the academic achievement of Grade X TITL students at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta; (4) determine the significant relationship between the family environment, learning motivation, and interest in choosing a major collectively with the academic achievement of Grade X TITL students at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. The research method used is the correlational method with a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 79 Grade X TITL students, with a sample of 66 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques for variables X1, X2, and X3 used primary data through questionnaires, while variable Y used secondary data from first-semester report card scores. The research results show that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between the family environment and students' academic achievement, with an rcount value of 0.572, which is greater than rtable of 0.242 at a 5% significance level; (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement, with an rcount value of 0.532, greater than rtable of 0.242 at a 5% significance level; (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in choosing a major and students' academic achievement, with an rcount value of 0.648, greater than rtable of 0.242 at a 5% significance level; (4) there is a positive and significant relationship between the family environment, learning motivation, and interest in choosing a major collectively with academic achievement, with an Fcount value of 22.459, which is greater than Ftable of 2.75 at a 5% significance level.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PBL) has gained widespread recognition as an effective instructional method that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among students. In this context, the role of the teacher as a facilitator is crucial in guiding students through the learning process while encouraging autonomy and exploration. With the increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, AI tools have become valuable resources to support both teachers and students in PBL environments. However, the specific role of teachers as facilitators in AI-supported PBL settings remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the role of the teacher as a facilitator in project-based learning environments where AI tools are utilized to enhance the learning experience. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys, interviews, and classroom observations involving 150 students and 20 teachers from schools implementing AI-supported PBL. The study assessed the impact of AI tools on teacher facilitation and student outcomes in terms of engagement, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The results indicate that AI tools significantly supported teachers in managing and facilitating PBL, allowing for more personalized guidance and efficient task management. Students reported higher levels of engagement and improved collaboration, while teachers emphasized the increased ability to focus on individualized support. This study concludes that the teacher’s role as a facilitator is essential in leveraging AI tools to optimize project-based learning, enhancing both teaching practices and student outcomes.

Abstract

Permainan mempunyai kemampuan untuk melibatkan siswa dalam proses belajar secara aktif. Salah satu cara yaitu dengan menjadikan permainan tradisional sebagai media pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk memberikan uji pemahaman siswa di sekolah terutama mata pelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas alternatif strategi yang bisa digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika ialah dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional sunda manda (engklek). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan pengembangan permainan Sunda Manda, Mendeskripsikan permainan Sunda Manda, Mendeskripsikan keterimaan permainan Sunda Manda, serta Mendeskripsikan kelayakan permainan Sunda Manda. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) yaitu rangkaian proses atau langkah-langkah dalam pengembangan suatu produk baru atau menyempurnakan produk yang sudah ada agar dapat dipertanggung jawabkan. Hasil angket respon guru mendapatkan hasil 94% yang berarti termasuk ke dalam kategori “Sangat Efektif”. Setelah media sunda manda divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi maka media sunda manda selesai dan valid untuk dipergunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Kelayakan permainan Sunda Manda berdasarkan hasil kelayakan angket keefektifan kepada guru dan angket keterimaan peserta didik yang mendapatkan hasil 86% dengan kategori “Sangat Efektif”. Media sunda manda yang dikembangkan memiliki kelebihan antara lain yaitu peserta didik lebih senang dengan pembelajaran sambil bermain, secara berkelompok peserta didik dapat bersosialisasi dengan temannya.
