Abstract

This study aims to analyze the requirements for blended learning based PBL learning materials to enhance students' critical thinking skills when solving physics learning challenges, particularly those about rotational dynamics and equilibrium. This research was survey research as a first step in developing blended learning media based on PBL. The subjects used in this study were junior high school students with a total sample of 105 students and five physics teachers in Pekanbaru and Kampar Regency. The research instrument used in this research was a closed questionnaire developed based on indicators of critical thinking skills and the distribution of critical thinking ability tests. The questionnaire response scores were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The research results showed that learning media was needed to support online and offline learning. The learning media must contain learning materials, videos, and student activities to increase learning effectiveness and train students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop PBL-based blended learning media to improve the critical thinking skills of students and teachers.

Abstract

Search, Solve, Create, and Share is a learning model that guides students to the process of solving problems. With this Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model, students can train creative thinking skills to be able to expand or search for ideas independently. This study was conducted to see the difference in mastery of the concept of students who use the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model and conventional learning on global warming material. This study was designed with Posttest-Only Control Design. The samples used were class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class with an integrated Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model Mind Mapping and XI IPA 2 as a control class with conventional learning. The results of the t-test show that there are differences in mastery of the concepts of students who apply the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model integrated with Mind Mapping with control classes that apply conventional learning.. The conclusion of this study is that there are differences in mastery of the concepts of students who apply the Search, Solve, Create and Share learning model integrated with Mind Mapping with students who apply conventional learning, and mastery of the concepts of students who apply the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model better than the control class with conventional learning.

Abstract

Competency-based HR management is a must, as a paradigm of the approach that is Career development is the process of improving skills, positions, and responsibilities. This study aims to determine the influence of performance assessment, work discipline and organizational commitment to employee career development. The population of this study is Civil Servants in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Karimun Regency which amounts to 66 employees with a sample of 65 employees. The type of research used in this study is associative research. The method that can be used in this study is to use structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis based on variance, namely Partial Least Square (PLS). The research data was collected by questionnaire instrument. The results of the analysis in this study found that performance assessment had a positive and insignificant effect on employee career development (β = 0.270, p = 0.131) so it can be concluded that the results of the study rejected the first hypothesis. The results of the work discipline analysis showed a significant negative result with a probability value (β = -0.300, p = 0.026) so it can be concluded that the results of the study support the second hypothesis. The results of the organizational commitment analysis showed a significant positive result with a probability value (β = 0.293, p = 0.039) so that it can be concluded that the results of the study support the third hypothesis. The study also showed that 21% of employee career development variables were influenced by performance assessment variables, work disciplines and organizational commitments while another 79% were influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a Deep Learning-based Traffic Flow Detector to automatically and accurately observe traffic flow. Conventional traffic observation is often conducted manually or via CCTV, but it is prone to human error and difficult to use for real-time trend analysis. In this study, the YOLOv4 method is used to detect four types of vehicles (cars, motorcycles, buses, trucks). To continuously track vehicle movement and address occlusion issues, the Deep SORT algorithm is implemented. The YOLOv4 model used is a pre-trained model and was tested on seven CCTV video recordings obtained from the official website of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Department. The system was implemented on a limited device, the Nvidia Jetson Nano, as a simulation of direct CCTV integration. Test results showed a highest precision of 98%, but the maximum accuracy achieved was only 26%. This low accuracy is influenced by several factors, including video resolution, detection model quality, and lighting conditions. Nevertheless, the system demonstrates potential to support future traffic management and engineering decisions but still requires further optimization, including improving video resolution and quality, retraining the model with a more representative local dataset, using lighter and more accurate detection models, and optimizing the tracking algorithm. Keywords: deep learning; deepsort; NVIDIA Jetson NANO; traffic flow; YOLOv4  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Traffic Flow Detector berbasis Deep Learning untuk mengobservasi arus lalu lintas secara otomatis dan akurat. Observasi lalu lintas konvensional sering dilakukan secara manual atau melalui CCTV, namun rentan terhadap human error dan sulit digunakan untuk menganalisis tren secara real-time. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode YOLOv4 untuk mendeteksi empat jenis kendaraan (mobil, motor, bus, truk). Untuk melacak pergerakan kendaraan secara berkelanjutan dan mengatasi masalah occlusion, digunakan algoritma Deep SORT. Model YOLOv4 yang digunakan merupakan pre-trained model dan diujikan pada tujuh rekaman video CCTV yang diambil dari situs resmi Dinas Perhubungan Kota Pekanbaru. Sistem ini diimplementasikan pada perangkat terbatas Nvidia Jetson Nano sebagai simulasi penerapan langsung pada CCTV. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan presisi tertinggi mencapai 98%, namun akurasi tertingginya hanya sebesar 26%. Rendahnya akurasi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti resolusi video, kualitas model deteksi, serta kondisi pencahayaan. Meski demikian, sistem ini menunjukkan potensi untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam manajemen dan rekayasa lalu lintas di masa depan, namun masih membutuhkan optimasi lebih lanjut, seperti  peningkatan kualitas video input, pelatihan ulang model dengan dataset lokal, penggunaan model deteksi yang lebih ringan dan akurat serta pengoptimalan algoritma pelacakan. Kata kunci: deep learning deepsort; Nvidia Jetson Nano; traffic flow; YOLOv4

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji earning per share, price earning ratio terhadap harga saham perusahaan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2017-2019. Adapun jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder yaitu berupa data laporan keuangan tahunan yang diperoleh dari website bursa efek indonesia atau www.idx.co.id. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 perusahaan dari 45 perusahaan transportasi yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis statistik deksriptif, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji regresi simultan dan parsial.Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa earning per share, price earning ratio memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan secara simultan terhadap harga saham perusahaan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Secara parsial earning per share, price earning ratio berpengaruh positf dan signifikan terhadap harga saham perusahaan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2017-2019.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat website tanaman sayuran di kebun menggunakan HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) agar dapat mengedukasi pengunjung dan mengontrol pertumbuhan tanaman. Metode penelitian melibatkan pencampuran pupuk kandang ayam, NPK, dan dolomit yang ditaburkan pada kebun setiap dua minggu. Bibit Terong Hijau dan Kangkung Darat ditanam di polybag, dan setelah satu minggu, sayuran tersebut dipindahkan ke kebun, sedangkan Sawi Hijau dipindahkan setelah 10 hari. Penanaman dilakukan dengan mengatur area: Terong Hijau di tiga area, Kangkung Darat di satu area, dan Sawi Hijau di tiga area. Metode analisis data yang digunakan mencakup statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan pertumbuhan tanaman, serta model regresi sederhana untuk memprediksi hubungan antara Hari Setelah Tanam (HST) dan tinggi tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa halaman website terdiri dari tampilan muka, halaman untuk masing-masing jenis tanaman, serta grafik hubungan antara HST dan tinggi tanaman, dan antara HST dan jumlah daun. Secara kuantitatif, pada tanaman Terong Hijau, rata-rata pertumbuhan tinggi dicatat sekitar 2 cm/hari, dan jumlah daun meningkat seiring bertambahnya HST. Pada Kangkung Darat, tinggi tanaman meningkat menjadi rata-rata 1,5 cm/hari, sementara pada Sawi Hijau, pertambahan tinggi tanaman tidak signifikan, sekitar 0,5 cm/hari. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa aplikasi website berhasil dibangun untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai cara menanam sayur, dan menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan tanaman Terong Hijau dan Kangkung Darat menunjukkan tren positif seiring bertambahnya HST, sedangkan pertumbuhan Sawi Hijau relatif stabil.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh guru-guru yang kurang memanfaatkan teknologi dalam membuat media ajar pada Kurikulum Merdeka yang variatif, inovatif dan kreatif. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu guru dalam; 1) memahami hakikat media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia, 2) mendisain media pembelajaran yang cocok dengan P5, 3) memanfaatkan platform belajar.id, dan 4) meningkatkan kemampuan dalam pemanfaatan media Canva dan Quizziz dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian mengenai pembuatan media ajar ini mendapatkan reaksi yang sangat positif dari para pendidik Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Hal ini terlihat dari tingginya antusisme, responsif dan keaktifan yang diperlihatkan para guru pada saat mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini. Hal utama yang dilakukan pada saat pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru yang menjadi peserta pelatihan diminta untuk membagikan pengalaman mereka dalam membuat media ajar untuk proses belajar di kelas selama ini dan mempraktikkan pembuatan media ajar dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Kemudian guru-guru diberikan pemahaman tentang materi pembuatan media ajar pada Kurikulum Merdeka terkait dengan P5. Sebagai umpan balik dari kegiatan ini, pihak Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Tanah Datar dan guru sekolah dasar mengatakan bahwa mereka bersedia menjadi pelaku diseminasi untuk berbagi ilmu kepada rekan sejawat demi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah mereka. Harapannya dari pihak Koordinator Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Tanah Datar dan guru-guru yang ada di Sekolah Dasar, prestasi peserta didik sekolah mereka dapat terus meningkat dengan adanya kerjasama yang dibangun dengan pihak Universitas Negeri Padang.
