Abstract

The development of instructional media plays a very important role in the field of education. The purpose of developing this instructional media is to make the teaching and learning process more effective, engaging, and easy to implement. Based on observations at SDN 4 Keruak, learning activities still use manual instructional media, such as books, written materials, and other teaching aids. Therefore, in this advanced technological era, the author developed interactive instructional media for the local content subject (Mulok) of the Sasak language to facilitate teachers and students in the learning process, enabling them to understand the material more quickly so that learning becomes more interesting and easier to comprehend. This media development begins with a needs analysis process, followed by design based on the results of the analysis. The use of this media also helps teachers deliver material more effectively, thereby motivating students and preventing boredom.

Abstract

Regional autonomy is an important concept in the system of government in Indonesia, which aims to give freedom and authority to the regions in managing government and development affairs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of regional autonomy from the perspective of national legal politics by focusing on several regions in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with local government officials, legislators, academics and other stakeholders involved in the implementation of regional autonomy. Apart from that, data was also collected through analysis of documents and policies related to regional autonomy. The results of the research show that the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia still faces several political and legal challenges. There are tensions between the central and regional governments regarding the division of powers and the allocation of resources. Some regions have succeeded in implementing autonomy properly, while there are also regions that have experienced problems in optimizing the authority they have. Political factors, such as local political dynamics, the influence of political parties and certain political interests, influence the implementation of regional autonomy. In addition, legal aspects, including complex laws and regulations and differences in legal interpretation between the central and regional governments, are also obstacles in the implementation of autonomy. This research produces policy recommendations to improve the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia. A more comprehensive approach is needed to improve coordination between the central and regional governments in making strategic decisions. Strengthening capacity and fostering human resources at the regional level is also the key to increasing the implementation of regional autonomy that is more effective and efficient from the perspective of national legal politics.

Abstract

Rice is a major commodity as a source of carbohydrates for the Indonesian people. Efforts to increase rice production have been made by the government, but these have not been matched by optimal harvesting and post-harvest handling, resulting in high yield losses of nearly 10%. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (2024) shows that rice harvest losses reach 9.5% during harvesting and 4.8% during the post-harvest stage, which has the potential to reduce national grain production, currently recorded at around 65 million tonnes of grain. The Tompobulu sub-district, Bantaeng Regency, has around 1,000 hectares of rice fields at an altitude of ±500 metres above sea level with small plots and a terraced pattern. The main problems faced by organic rice farmers in this area are low knowledge of cultivation, organic fertiliser production, and good post-harvest handling. These conditions cause high yield losses, both quantitatively and qualitatively, which do not provide economic incentives for farmers to increase their income. Paddy with high moisture content is also easily damaged and increases yield losses. Appropriate and location-specific post-harvest handling is needed to reduce yield losses and improve grain quality. In areas with narrow land ownership and hilly topography, appropriate technology in the form of power threshers is a suitable solution, as modern harvesting equipment such as combine harvesters cannot operate effectively in terraced rice fields.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the ethics of consumption and the behavior of Muslim consumers in an era of economic uncertainty. Unstable economic conditions, characterized by price and income fluctuations, encourage consumers to be more selective, rational, and cautious in making consumption decisions. The research uses a qualitative literature method by analyzing various literary sources related to Muslim consumption behavior, Islamic ethical principles, and consumer adaptation to economic dynamics. The results show that Muslim consumer behavior is influenced by economic factors, trust, technology, and religious values. Although economic pressures can affect consumption priorities, Islamic consumption ethics still act as a control mechanism, promoting principles of moderation, simplicity, and social care. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of adaptive, balanced, and sharia-compliant Muslim consumer behavior amidst economic uncertainty.

Abstract

A’la, Jamā’at Islāmī, us ka maqsad, tarikh, awr la laihi aml “The Jamā’at Islāmī, Its Aim, History and Programme, 2) Nazdariyah al-Islam al-Siyasah,.

Abstract

This research focuses on gender politics in the Islamic world. The discussion of gender politics is limited to the feminist movement in three countries: Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Therefore, this study uses a political theory framework to explore the implementation of power-seeking or biased policies. Gender theory discusses the position of Egyptian, Turkish, and Saudi Arabian women in the public sphere in fulfilling gender-just rights and obligations. Elite theory aims to understand government policies for society, especially women. This study uses qualitative research methods, using observation and library data collection techniques. The results show that various obstacles are encountered in the process of gender political struggles in Islamic countries. However, women's political struggles also receive support from various parties, of course, after going through a long struggle. Thus, Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia are now countries with women's movements that show progress and can be compared with other Islamic countries.

Abstract

Leucaena leucocephala, commonly known as lamtoro, is an invasive species that proliferates in tropical regions, including Sumbawa Island, and poses a threat to local biodiversity. Nevertheless, the abundant biomass of this plant presents an opportunity for its utilization as a renewable energy source in the form of wood pellets. This study aims to analyze the emission characteristics of lamtoro-based wood pellets substituted with plastic waste and sodium carbonate, as a strategy to enhance energy efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of solid waste. Three pellet formulations were tested: (1) 100% lamtoro as the control, (2) lamtoro mixed with 10% plastic waste, and (3) lamtoro mixed with 10% sodium carbonate. Combustion tests were conducted using a flue gas analyzer to measure the concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter. The results indicate that the addition of plastic waste significantly increased the calorific value of the pellets but also led to higher emissions of CO and NOx. In contrast, the addition of sodium carbonate demonstrated a positive effect by reducing CO emissions by 35% and NOx by 28% compared to the control, as well as improving combustion efficiency through a catalytic mechanism in the decomposition of carbon compounds. These findings suggest that lamtoro wood pellets combined with sodium carbonate are a promising alternative bioenergy source that is environmentally friendly, supports the management of invasive species, and contributes to the diversification of renewable energy sources in rural and conservation areas.
