Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the Qur'an, intellect, and Islamic educational philosophy in the context of global educational challenges. Departing from previous research, this study offers a new perspective on the integration of revelation and reason as a solution to strengthen the relevance of Islamic education in the modern era. Using a literature-based qualitative research method, this study collects and analyzes various relevant literature to understand the relationship between Qur'anic values, reason, and philosophy in the Islamic education system. The results of the study show that the Qur'an provides a moral and spiritual foundation for Islamic education, while the intellect serves as a tool to understand and apply these values in learning. The philosophy of Islamic education integrates these two elements, so that it is able to form human beings with noble character, knowledge, and contribute positively to society. In the modern era, Islamic educational philosophy remains relevant in facing the challenges of globalization, moral crises, and technological developments. By emphasizing monotheism, morality, and knowledge as the main pillars, this philosophy is able to produce a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has strong moral and spiritual integrity. This research contributes to the development of Islamic educational theory and practice by providing practical guidance for the implementation of Qur'anic values and philosophies in the modern education system. In conclusion, the integration between revelation and reason is a holistic approach that not only answers the needs of today's education but also maintains the Islamic identity of the ummah in the midst of changing times.

Abstract

TikTok stands out from other social media platforms due to its advanced algorithm, which analyzes user behaviors like search history, likes, and watch time to provide personalized video recommendations on its For You Page (FYP). Unlike other platforms, which require users to search for content using specific keywords, TikTok uses sophisticated artificial intelligence to tailor content, contributing to its popularity, especially among users aged 14 to 30, including students. The platform's short videos and hashtag-driven content, such as #duetme, have become popular, enabling collaborative English conversations. This study investigates the views of vocational high school students at SMK Sritanjung Banyuwangi on using TikTok's duet feature to improve their creative English-speaking skills. Using a qualitative research design, data were gathered through questionnaires and interviews. The results show that 11 out of 18 students reported a boost in their confidence when creating English conversation duets on TikTok, indicating the platform's potential as an effective tool for enhancing English communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran partikel arang tempurung sawit terhadap nilai kalor briket dengan variasi persentase perekat. Tahapan dimulai dengan pemilihan arang tempurung sawit sebagai bahan baku utama, dengan penekanan pada variasi ukuran partikel menggunakan mesh 7, 16, dan 25. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pembuatan briket dengan dimensi 2,5 x 2,5 x 2,5 cm dan variasi komposisi perlekatan (95:5%, 90:10%, dan 85:15%). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa briket dengan dimensi seragam menghasilkan bentuk kubus yang kompak dan efisien. Nilai kalor briket bervariasi tergantung pada ukuran mesh dan komposisi perlekatan. Pada ukuran mesh 7, campuran perlekatan 90:10% memberikan nilai kalor tertinggi sebesar 5852 Joule. Namun, pada ukuran mesh 16, nilai kalor tertinggi terjadi dengan persentase perlekatan 85:15% sebesar 26752 Joule, menunjukkan kompleksitas dalam menentukan proporsi perlekatan yang optimal. Temuan serupa terlihat pada ukuran mesh 25, di mana persentase perlekatan 85:15% memberikan nilai kalor paling tinggi sebesar 35112 Joule

Abstract

This study wants to understand, test, and prove the impact of personality also gender differences on personal financial planning. This study implements the quantitative approach. The information’s collected in this study is using primary data that collected through questionnaire surveys directly. The sample in this research using 2016 UPN student Accounting department "Veteran" East Java. Sample selection using the incidental sampling method. Data analysis uses partial least square (PLS) which uses SmartPLS 3.2.9 for personality and gender hypothesis. The findings indicate that personality variables were having significant effect on personal financial planning while gender variables had no significant effect on financial planning.

Abstract

This research was conducted for knowing the influence of pemutihan motor vehicle tax program, taxpayer awareness, tax socialization, and tax administration service toward taxpayer compliance to pay motor vehicle tax (Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor- PKB) at SAMSAT office of Surabaya Selatan. The total sample for this study was 100 respondents calculated using the sampling method namely simple random sampling. Collected data using a questionnaire distributed to respondents. Hypothesis testingt in this research used double linier regression in SPSS 23. The analysis results show that pemutihan motor vehicle tax program, taxpayer awareness, and tax administration service influence taxpayer compliance in paying PKB. Meanwhile, tax socialization does not have an effect on taxpayer compliance in completing the PKB.

Abstract

This study proposed to analyzing and empirically proving the impact of compliance pressure, task complexity and audit expertise on audit judgment. This study is using quantitative approach method with primary data. The object of this study is using 42 public accounting firms in Surabaya with public accountants as respondents. Sources of data are obtained from answers to questionnaires that have been filled in by 30 public accountants as the study object. The data analysis technique is using multiple linear regression. The findings in this study through the data analysis and hypothesis testing both simultaneously and partially show that compliance pressure, task complexity and audit expertise showing a huge impact on audit judgment. Based on these results, it shows that the variable of task complexity has the most dominant effect on audit judgment.

Abstract

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is the most severe pain in the world, where patients experience a painful condition from the face that significantly impacts the quality of life and socio economic function of affected patients. The pathophysiology of TN is still unclear, it is thought that TN occurs due to compression of the root entry zone of the trigeminal nerve near the origin of the brain stem and this local pressure causes demyelination which leads to abnormal depolarization which results in ectopic impulses. The sphenopalatine ganglion is a parasympathetic ganglion that is connected to the trigeminal, facial, and sympathetic systems and consists of somatosensory, sympathetic, and parasympathetic nerve fibers. This ganglion receives sensory impulses from around the face. TN Management can in a way pharmacological and surgical; however, it is not capable in a way of effectively relieving, since the technology of radiofrequency ablation, TN patients can be done with radiofrequency ablation with satisfactory results, even one daycare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which motivation influences students' learning interest in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject at MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya. The research was prompted by the phenomenon of low student interest in learning, despite the relatively high levels of motivation provided by teachers. A quantitative approach with a descriptive method was employed in this study. The sample consisted of 70 students from grades VII and VIII, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results revealed a significant relationship between motivation and learning interest, although the correlation was negative. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.009, which is less than 0.05, and a correlation coefficient of -0.330. In other words, an increase in motivation appears to be inversely related to students’ interest in the SKI subject. These findings suggest that not all forms of motivation have a positive effect on learning interest, highlighting the need to reevaluate the motivational strategies applied in schools. Abstract

Good financial statements aid decision-making by ensuring that they are clear and trustworthy to stakeholders. Internal auditors play a very important role in this regard to ensure that financial statements are prepared correctly and in accordance with applicable regulations. This study aims to determine how the role of internal audit affects the quality of financial statements at LAZNAS Dewan Da'wah. Internal auditors are responsible for ensuring that the organization's financial statements are clear, accurate, and in accordance with applicable accounting principles. Therefore, the quality of financial statements must be considered because it affects the decision making of stakeholders. Currently, the role of internal audit is considered as one of the important roles in improving the quality of financial statements. This research uses a qualitative approach, which allows researchers to provide a better picture of the phenomenon in the field. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. Data analysis is done by collecting, selecting raw data, processing and interpreting the data obtained. The results showed that the quality of financial statements was significantly influenced by internal audit. Internal auditors can evaluate and understand financial reports to overcome problems, and good management can overcome problems in the internal accounting system and maintain accurate financial reporting. Effective communication and systematization also contribute to the efficiency and improvement of auditors.

Abstract

Zakat is an important instrument in wealth redistribution and community empowerment in the context of Islamic economics. In this context, research on the management of zakat funds by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Bogor City is very relevant. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of zakat fund management and its impact on community empowerment. The research methods used are qualitative and quantitative approaches, involving data collection through interviews, surveys, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that BAZNAS Bogor City has succeeded in managing zakat funds well. The significant allocation of funds for empowerment programs, such as skills training and business capital assistance, is one indicator of this success. For example, the sewing training program held by BAZNAS has helped many women in Bogor to acquire new skills, so that they can be financially independent and contribute to the family economy. However, the challenges faced by BAZNAS cannot be ignored. The lack of public awareness of the importance of zakat and transparency in fund management are issues that need to be addressed. Many residents still do not understand the benefits of zakat, so their participation in these programs is low. In addition, transparency in the use of zakat funds is also in the spotlight, because the community has the right to know how the funds they donate are used for the common good. To overcome these challenges, this study recommends increasing socialization of zakat, both through public campaigns and collaboration with various parties, including educational institutions and community organizations. By increasing public awareness and ensuring transparency in management, it is hoped that the positive impact of zakat management can be maximized.
