Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing naturalistic intelligence in early childhood, particularly in terms of sensitivity to the surrounding natural environment and the ability to identify local flora and fauna. The objectives of this study are:(1) To examine the implementation of environment-based learning in developing children's naturalistic intelligence, (2) To assess the condition of naturalistic intelligence among children at TK Islam Bakti 54 Pulau Mainan, (3) To determine whether environment-based learning can enhance the naturalistic intelligence of children at TK Islam Bakti 54 Pulau Mainan.This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The respondents consist of 12 group B students, 2 kindergarten teachers, and several parents, conducted during March–April 2025. Data collection techniques this was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data was analyzed through the following steps:data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data on the implementation of environment-based learning to develop naturalistic intelligence is ensured through data triangulation.The research results show that the implementation of environment-based learning has effectively developed the naturalistic intelligence of children at TK Islam Bakti 54 Pulau Mainan. Environment-based learning activities proved to be highly effective in fostering the development of children’s naturalistic intelligence. The children showed great enthusiasm in participating in activities such as observing plants, caring for animals, and exploring the school’s surrounding environment. Based on observations and documentation, the findings revealed that 11 children demonstrated improvement in their ability to recognize and classify living organisms, as well as increased awareness and care for the environment. Assessments of the children’s naturalistic intelligence showed improved scores, with many falling into the very well developed (BSB) category. Additionally, 9 children displayed participation and interest in environmental care activities, falling under the developing as expected (BSH) category. Therefore, the implementation of environment-based learning can effectively develop the naturalistic intelligence of early childhood learners. This study concludes that environment-based learning contributes positively to the development of naturalistic intelligence in children at TK Islam Bakti 54 Pulau Mainan.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a fundamental stage in building a child's cognitive foundation. However, the reality at Kamang Baru 2 Kindergarten shows that monotonous conventional learning methods are still used, hindering children's exploration and development of thinking. By accommodating these differences, differentiated learning enables students to learn in a more optimal, relevant, and meaningful way. Differentiated learning enables students to develop their talents through potential identification, where teachers can observe and recognize individual talents in both academic (such as math, science) and non-academic (art, sports) areas. This study aims to determine the effect of a differentiated learning approach on the cognitive development of children aged 5–6 years.This quantitative study, using a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design, was conducted in November 2024 at Kamang Baru 2 Kindergarten to measure the effect of differentiated learning on the cognitive development of children aged 5–6 years. The population consisted of all 64 students at Kamang Baru 2 Kindergarten. The sample consisted of 16 children in grade B2 selected using a cluster sampling technique. The instrument consisted of an observation sheet using a Likert scale of 1–4, validated through content validity. Data were collected through observation and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including t-tests and N-Gain tests, to determine the effectiveness of the treatment.Based on the research results, it can be seen that the t0 value is greater than the t-table, namely 31.36>2.602. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis is accepted: differentiated learning influences the cognitive development of early childhood. Thus, there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test in the sample group. Therefore, hypothesis Hₐ is accepted and hypothesis Hₒ is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that differentiated learning can be applied to improve the cognitive development of early childhood. It can be concluded that the results of statistical testing of the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) indicate that differentiated learning influences cognitive development in children.

Abstract

International trade is an important sector in the Indonesian economy, especially through export activities involving sea transportation services. However, in practice, the process of transporting export goods cannot be separated from various risks, one of which is the crime of theft that causes large losses for business actors. This study aims to analyze the legal responsibility of transportation service providers in the case of theft of export goods, as well as to examine the legal protection of service users, especially PT. Spice Lines International which suffered losses due to theft during sea transportation. The research method used is a normative and empirical juridical approach, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study show that although there are legal provisions governing the responsibility of carriers, their implementation is still weak. Many cases of losses due to theft are not resolved through legal channels due to evidentiary constraints, weak contract clauses, and lack of legal understanding from service users. The legal protection provided by laws and regulations has not been fully effective in guaranteeing the rights of service users to obtain compensation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen legal instruments in transportation agreements, improve logistics security systems, and optimize dispute resolution through mediation or arbitration. This study recommends a reformulation of regulations and synergy between stakeholders to create a fairer and more functional legal protection system in the export transportation service sector.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the significance of problems related to the use of life insurance policies as credit collateral in terms of practice, regulation, and theory. This study focuses on the legal position of life insurance policies as credit collateral and the mechanism and banking use of life insurance policies as credit collateral in banking institutions at PT. Allianz Medan. This study uses Empirical Normative Juridical Legal Research based on interviews as support. In the Indonesian legal system, life insurance policies can be used as collateral to obtain credit lines from such institutions. General provisions on collateral are contained in the Civil Code (KUHPerdata), especially in Book II concerning property and property rights, and in Law Number 40 of 2014 concerning Insurance, which regulates the basic principles, rights, and obligations of the parties in insurance agreements. The mechanism for utilizing life insurance policies as credit collateral in banking institutions studied at PT. Allianz Medan demonstrates a legitimate and structured practice that adheres to national legal provisions, such as the Civil Code, Fiduciary Guarantee Law, and Insurance Law. By transferring the right to receive policy benefits to the bank as collateral, either by replacing the beneficiary or the fiduciary, this practice provides legal certainty for creditors and protection from risk for debtors.

Abstract

Essentially, language professionals have offered a plenty of fascinating and enjoyable language education approaches and ideas. Media realia is one of the alternative strategies presented in this study. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of using realia media to teach English to young children. The study was conducted at the Sang Surya Muhammadiyah Boarding School Kindergarten in Mataram with 11 children as the sample. The pre-experimental approach, namely pre-test and post-test group design was applied in this research. The instruments to gather the data were observation, a vocabulary test and recording, while the data collection procedure was done through pre-test, treatment and post test. Finally, the data were analyzed using a pre-experimental formula in the form of statistical computation. The result shows that the comparison of the t-test and t-table is 3.21 ≥ 2.60, or the test results exceed the minimal accomplishment levels. It revealed that the use of the "realia" technique has a significant impact on the development of children's vocabulary learning.  In another words, the use of "Realia" technique in teaching English to young children at MBS Batu Ringgit is "effective" when used in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap keinginan mahasiswa untuk menjadi pengajar di program studi Akuntansi di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Makassar. Self-efficacy, yang akan bertindak sebagai variabel independen studi, dan minat profesi sebagai pendidik, yang akan memainkan peran variabel dependen studi, adalah dua variabel yang akan diselidiki sebagai bagian dari proyek penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian adalah individu yang telah mendaftar untuk mengikuti Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi. Secara keseluruhan, ada 376 siswa yang mendaftar untuk berpartisipasi dalam proyek tersebut. sedangkan sampel terdiri dari 79 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan proporsional stratified random sample. Dokumentasi dan kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Uji instrumen dan hipotesis digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Kata Kunci: Efikasi Diri, Minat Menjadi Guru

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of student management in optimizing superior programs to instill moral values in MTs N 2 Purworejo. The method used in this study is field research with a qualitative approach, which is carried out directly in the MTs N 2 Purworejo environment. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation to ensure the accuracy of this. Data analysis applies the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The results of the study show that the optimization of student management in forming moral character in MTs N 2 Purworejo has run effectively through four main stages: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The planning stage begins with a meeting at the beginning of the year, while the organizing stage includes the preparation of a schedule and the formulation of SOPs regarding adab. The implementation of the program involves all elements of the madrasah through various activities, such as 3S culture (Smile, Salutation, Greeting), joint prayer, tadarus, congregational prayers, as well as literacy and hygiene programs. Evaluations are carried out periodically through monthly meetings, and attitude assessments are included in student report cards. This research has implications for education practitioners in both formal and non-formal education.

Abstract

Mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) as one of the crustacean species, has a variety of bioactive compounds that can be utilized in the field of pharmacology. Antioxidant compounds act as therapeutic agents against degenerative diseases. Banyuasin waters have mangrove vegetation with associated marine organisms that have the potential to be studied for bioactive compounds. This study aims to identify the phytochemical profile quantitatively and qualitatively, samples were collected from mud flats near mangrove ecosystems in Banyuasin waters, South Sumatra. Samples were tested for antioxidant activity using the DPPH test, and IC50 values, qualitative phytochemical identification, and phytochemical profiles were calculated using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. Based on the results of antioxidant testing, the IC50 value of S. serrata extract is 2.25 ppm, the sample is included in the category of very strong antioxidants. Phytochemical test results showed that the compound is thought to contain antioxidant activity from flavonoids and triterpenoids. GC-MS analysis detected major compound groups of alkaloids, purines, and vitamins. Minor compound groups detected amines, terpenoids, monosaccharides, amino acids, fatty acids, silanes, formamides, heterocycles, carboxylic acids, aminoglycosides, naphthalene derivatives, nitriles, amides, glycosides, and peptides. S. serrata extract shows very strong antioxidant activity, with major compounds such as alkaloids, purines, and vitamins. S. serrata extract detected compounds that have been reported as anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antimicrobial, and antiviral. These findings highlight the pharmaceutical potential of S. serrata as a source of bioactive compounds. The results of this study provide valuable information for the development of alternative medicines derived from marine organisms.

Abstract

UMKM Sagon Bu Saliyem di Karanganyar menghadapi masalah inefisiensi dalam pengendalian persediaan bahan baku akibat penggunaan sistem konvensional berbasis perkiraan sederhana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan kebijakan pengendalian persediaan yang diterapkan UMKM dengan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP), melalui tiga teknik lot sizing: Lot for Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), dan Period Order Quantity (POQ). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui survei penggunaan, pembelian, dan biaya penyimpanan bahan baku utama yaitu ketan, kelapa, dan gula pasir pada periode 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa total biaya persediaan berdasarkan kebijakan UMKM mencapai Rp 8.274.800, jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode MRP. Penerapan teknik LFL menghasilkan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 3.000.000, teknik EOQ sebesar Rp 3.027.700, dan teknik POQ sebesar Rp 3.000.000. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pengendalian persediaan dengan metode MRP, terutama melalui LFL dan POQ, jauh lebih efisien dibandingkan kebijakan tradisional. Oleh karena itu, penerapan MRP direkomendasikan sebagai strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan bahan baku, menekan biaya persediaan, serta mendukung keberlanjutan usaha UMKM Sagon Bu Saliyem di tengah persaingan industri makanan yang semakin ketat.

Abstract

Secara esensial, manajemen merupakan proses yang bertujuan untuk mencapai sasaran melalui aktivitas yang dirancang secara sistematis, terstruktur, digerakkan, dan diawasi. Dalam konteks perpustakaan, manajemen perpustakaan berarti pengelolaan yang berlandaskan pada teori serta prinsip-prinsip dasar manajemen. Salah satu wujud dari pengelolaan ini adalah kegiatan pengembangan. Salah satu aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan adalah layanan kepada pemustaka. Perpustakaan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat untuk menghimpun dan menyimpan berbagai jenis buku serta bahan pustaka lainnya dalam tatanan yang tertib, tetapi juga bertanggung jawab memastikan koleksi tersebut dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh para pengguna. Artinya, informasi dan artikel yang tersedia harus dapat diakses serta dimanfaatkan oleh pemustaka sesuai kebutuhan mereka. Inilah inti dari pelayanan perpustakaan yang sesungguhnya. Saat ini, perpustakaan dituntut untuk menyediakan berbagai jenis layanan yang lebih bervariasi, seperti layanan peminjaman (sirkulasi), layanan referensi, akses internet, layanan pencarian informasi, layanan digital, pemilihan koleksi, edukasi pengguna, layanan pengiriman dokumen, layanan audiovisual, Jasa Kesiagaan Informasi (JKI), kerja sama layanan antarperpustakaan (silang layan), serta layanan fotokopi.
