Abstract

The problem of overnutrition in adolescents is a growing phenomenon in line with changes in modern dietary patterns, particularly the high consumption of fast food. This study aimed to determine the relationship between fast food consumption and nutritional knowledge levels and the incidence of overweight among high school adolescents in Bone Regency. The study used a cross-sectional design with a purposively selected sample of 49 respondents. Data on fast food consumption were obtained through questionnaires, nutritional knowledge levels were measured using a nutritional knowledge questionnaire, and nutritional status was determined based on anthropometric measurements using the BMI/Age (Z-score) indicator. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and Spearman correlation. The results showed a significant association between fast food consumption and the incidence of overweight (p=0.041; r=0.446) and between nutritional knowledge levels and the incidence of overweight (p=0.005; r=0.386). This indicates that the higher the frequency of fast food consumption and the lower the nutritional knowledge, the greater the risk of overnutrition in adolescents. This study recommends the importance of nutrition education and controlling fast food consumption in adolescents, as well as the active role of schools and families in fostering healthy eating behaviors to prevent overnutrition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbantuan audio-visual interaktif Powtoon terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 24 Rawamangun. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa, khususnya dalam aspek membaca dan menulis. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, antara lain lingkungan belajar yang kurang mendukung, metode pengajaran konvensional yang kurang menarik perhatian siswa, serta minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi. Dalam konteks pembelajaran abad ke-21, diperlukan pendekatan yang mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan efektif. Powtoon sebagai media berbasis animasi dan audio-visual interaktif, dipilih karena memiliki potensi besar dalam menarik perhatian siswa, menyajikan materi secara visual yang mudah dipahami, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara kuantitatif, tetapi juga untuk menelaah sejauh mana penggunaan media tersebut mampu mengubah dinamika interaksi di kelas dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Selain memberikan kontribusi secara praktis dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memperkaya literatur terkait pemanfaatan media teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan dasar. Dengan demikian, diharapkan akan muncul inovasi baru dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on firm value in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2023. Utilizing a quantitative approach, this research employs secondary data collected through purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 80 banking companies that met specific ESG disclosure and financial reporting criteria. ESG disclosure data were obtained based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, specifically GRI 300 (Environmental), GRI 400 (Social), and GRI 2 (General Disclosures), while firm value was measured using the Price-to-Book Value (PBV) ratio. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to assess the relationship between ESG disclosure and firm value. The findings reveal that environmental, social, and governance factors do not have a significant effect on firm value. This suggests that ESG disclosure in the Indonesian banking sector has not yet been a primary determinant of firm valuation, potentially due to factors such as limited investor awareness, weak regulatory enforcement, or prevailing market skepticism regarding the financial relevance of ESG initiatives. These results contribute to the existing discourse on sustainable banking by providing empirical evidence on the limited impact of ESG disclosure on firm value within the Indonesian banking sector. Furthermore, this study underscores the importance of regulatory bodies in promoting ESG disclosure as a key performance indicator for banking institutions. Future research could examine moderating factors such as financial performance, risk management strategies, or the effectiveness of corporate governance frameworks in strengthening the relationship between ESG disclosure and firm value. These insights are valuable for investors, policymakers, and banking institutions in optimizing ESG strategies to maximize firm value and ensure sustainable financial growth.

Abstract

Keterampilan pengelolaan kelas merupakan bagian dari kompetensi pedagogik guru yang memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh keterampilan pengelolaan kelas oleh guru terhadap prestasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMPN 3 Tigo Nagari. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI telah menerapkan keterampilan pengelolaan kelas dalam berbagai aspek, seperti pengaturan tempat duduk, pengarahan interaksi, serta penggunaan metode pembelajaran variatif. Prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik ketika pengelolaan kelas dilakukan secara optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keterampilan pengelolaan kelas oleh guru berkontribusi secara langsung terhadap tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

The urgency of this PKM activity is to see the enormous tourism potential of the Mangrove Forest Park, managed by PT Perseroda (partner), and its influence on the economy of Langsa City. The increasing number of tourists at home and abroad must be accompanied by quality service and human resource capabilities. English language skills are required for all tourism operators at Mangrove Forest Park to provide quality services. Following up on this, the service team provided English for Specific Purposes (ESP) training to improve the quality of human resources' English language skills and partner services. The objectives of PKM are: (1) Improve the quality of partner human resources capabilities by improving English language communication skills specifically for Frontliners, guides, parking attendants, security and small business traders who interact directly with tourists; (2) Improving partner services through services using English to foreign tourists so that they can add value and increase the interest of foreign tourists who will visit. To achieve the objectives of this service, tests, interviews, questionnaires and observations were used to collect data. The targets for achieving this PKM activity are: (a) Increasing the ability of Partner HR in communication skills using English; (b) There has been an increase in the quality of services provided by partners which can increase the number of foreign tourists. The results of PKM activities show an increase in the ability of Partner HR to use English from a score of 55 to 75 after PKM activities. Apart from that, based on observations and interviews with participants, it is known that there has been an increase in partner services through services using English provided by frontliners and Mangrove Forest Park tour guides

Abstract

Incorporating technology into the learning process has resulted in the development of various new media for lecturers to use in delivering subject matter. Furthermore, the material presented is intended to enable students to develop creative and innovative ideas in higher education vocational majors in makeup and beauty. The purpose of this study is to determine how effective the flipbook-based module is in increasing student creativity in nail art subject at the Department of Beauty and Cosmetology at Universitas Negeri Padang. This study employs a quantitative and experimental approach (Group Pretest-Posttest Design). Data were collected from thirty respondents using a Likert scale questionnaire and a pre-test and post-test of nail art practice skills. All respondents are students in the Department of Cosmetology and Beauty, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, for the 2021/2022 academic year. All data were then analyzed descriptively and correlated using SPSS 23 software. Overall, the analysis results showed that using flip book-based e-modules could increase students' creativity in nail art subjects. These results can be proven by the effectiveness test of students' creativity, with an average value of 71.9%. Furthermore, the correlation analysis revealed a significant value of 0.05 and a t-score of 7.083> t-table of 2.045. The results of this study imply that it can provide references for education in choosing learning media and strategies for delivering learning materials that are effective in increasing creativity. Furthermore, this can be used as a basis for further development to produce effective media and learning approaches.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decree in article 70 of Law act. 7 of 1989 regarding of the Religious Courts which regulates a grace period of 6 (six) months for witnessing a divorce pledge trial at the Religious Court. of setting this rule. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the talak pledge trial at the Bukittinggi Religious Court as well as to know the wisdom of determining the 6 (six) month grace period for pronouncing the divorce vows by the husband against the wife in front of the Religious Court. This paper uses descriptive field research methods within the framework of qualitative analysis from data sources of observation, interviews and literature. The results of research and analysis found that the implementation of the pledge trial at the Bukittinggi Religious Court was carried out after the decision on the divorce divorce case had permanent legal force (inkracht), that is, if there was no ordinary legal remedy against the verdict. The time limit given to carry out the divorce pledge at the trial after the verdict with incraht is six months after the date of the divorce pledge trial is determined. The wisdom from determining a grace period of 6 (six) months for the husband to pledge his divorce is; First, to give the husband the opportunity to think about reviewing the decision to divorce his wife. Second, protection of the rights of women (wives). In this case, the husband is given the opportunity within this grace period to fulfill the rights of the wife who is demanded in court and decided by the panel of judges.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketentuan dalam Pasal 70 UU No 7 Tahun 1989 tentang Peradilan Agama yang mengatur tenggang waktu 6 (enam) bulan untuk penyaksian sidang ikrar talak di Pengadilan Agama. Aturan ini sejatinya tidak ditemukan di dalam kajian fiqh, namun secara fungsi belum terungkap kegunaan dari penetapan aturan ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan sidang ikrar talak di Pengadilan Agama Bukittinggi sekaligus mengetahui hikmah dari penetapan tenggang waktu 6 (enam) bulan untuk pengucapan ikrar talak oleh suami terhadap isteri dihadapan sidang Pengadilan Agama. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan yang bersifat deskriptif dalam kerangka analisis kualitatif dari sumber data observasi, wawancara dan literatur. Hasil penelitian dan analisa ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan sidang ikrar talak di Pengadilan Agama Bukittinggi dilakukan setelah keputusan perkara cerai talak mempunyai kekuatan hukum tetap (inkracht), yaitu apabila terhadap putusan tersebut tidak adalagi upaya hukum biasa. Tenggang waktu yang diberikan untuk melaksanakan ikrar talak di Persidangan setelah putusan Berkekuatan Hukum Tetap (BHT) adalah enam bulan sejak penetapan hari sidang ikrar talak. Hikmah dari penetapan tenggang waktu 6 (enam) bulan bagi suami untuk mengikrarkan talaknya adalah; Pertama, untuk memberikan kesempatan berpikir kepada suami guna mengkaji ulang keputusan menceraikan isterinya. Kedua, Perlindungan terhadap hak-hak perempuan (isteri). Dalam hal ini, suami diberi kesempatan dalam tenggang waktu tersebut, untuk memenuhi hak-hak isteri yang dituntut di persidangan dan diputuskan oleh majelis hakim. Tujuan utama dari ketentuan tenggang waktu untuk ikrar talak adalah untuk mempersulit terjadinya perceraian dan kemaslahatan terhadap suami (pemohon) dan isteri (termohon).

Abstract

The study background related to the students' collaborative competence in digital learning is still relatively low. The objective of this study is to examine the elements influencing collaborative competence. The study involved 107 cosmetology and beauty education students. The method used was a survey with data collection using questionnaires developed based on predetermined variable indicators. The analysis of data employed Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with Smart PLS 4.0 software. The SEM results describe the Convergent Validity (Loading Factor and Average Variance Extracted) and Discriminant Validity (Fornell Larcker Criterion and Cross Loading), which states that the measurement model is valid. Furthermore, the Composite reliability and Cronbach's Alpha conclude that the measurement model is reliable. The analysis results indicate a positive and significant correlation of predictor variables, including project-based learning, social media, instructional approach, and material relevance to collaborative competence. Based on the variable analysis, material relevance becomes the highest aspect, followed by project-based learning, which increases the collaborative competence of students. Conversely, social media as a mediator variable weakens the level of correlation of the predictor variables to collaborative competence. This study contributes to understanding factors affecting students' collaborative competence in digital learning environments, with significant implications for educators, institutions, and policymakers in shaping digital learning frameworks enhancing collaborative competence. Future research, including longitudinal studies, could investigate the lasting impact of digital learning environments on developing collaborative competence over time.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendampingan Gerakan Literasi Membaca Menyenangkan (GLMM) kepada guru Sekolah Dasar dalam meningkatkan minat dan keterampilan membaca siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait pelaksanaan GLMM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan GLMM oleh tim peneliti memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan minat membaca siswa melalui berbagai kegiatan yang menyenangkan dan kreatif. Guru-guru SD melaporkan peningkatan partisipasi dan antusiasme siswa dalam membaca setelah mengimplementasikan GLMM. Selain itu, pendampingan ini juga memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa, terutama dalam pemahaman dan interpretasi teks. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran dosen dalam mendukung pengembangan literasi membaca di tingkat dasar melalui pendampingan yang terarah dan inovatif. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya lebih banyak dukungan dan pelatihan bagi dosen dalam implementasi GLMM sebagai strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca siswa di tingkat dasar.

Abstract

Pendidikan saat ini menghadapi kompleksitas dengan tuntutan agar siswa mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21. Guru di sekolah dasar, sebagai pemimpin utama dalam pembentukan pondasi pendidikan, mungkin belum sepenuhnya siap mengintegrasikan keterampilan tersebut dalam pembelajaran sains. Tantangan termasuk pemahaman konsep sains modern, penggabungan keterampilan abad ke-21, dan motivasi siswa. Keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber daya sains juga menjadi hambatan dalam menciptakan pembelajaran interaktif. Kegiatan pendampingan literasi sains bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran sains dan mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 pada siswa. Dengan pendampingan intensif, diharapkan guru dapat mengatasi hambatan dalam mengajar sains, meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat siswa, serta menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan menarik. Kegiatan ini mendukung MBKM melalui partisipasi mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan yang memberikan wawasan baru dan membantu guru. Ini juga memungkinkan mahasiswa menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perguruan tinggi secara praktis di sekolah dasar. Fokus pada pemberdayaan guru untuk mengintegrasikan keterampilan abad ke-21 diharapkan menciptakan perubahan signifikan dalam pendidikan dasar, meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran sains, dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi masa depan yang kompleks
