Abstract

Government policy in dealing with agrarian conflicts in Indonesia is very important to achieve social justice. Agrarian conflicts often arise due to injustice in the control and use of natural resources, which has an impact on society, especially vulnerable groups. Based on the principles of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, the government has the responsibility to create prosperity for all people, including in terms of distribution of land and other resources. The government has implemented various strategies to overcome agrarian conflicts, including formulating inclusive and fair policies. In the context of public policy, social justice is the main basis. This includes protecting the rights of communities marginalized due to unfair development policies. An approach based on community participation in decision making is expected to reduce the negative impacts of these policies. In this way, the government not only functions as a regulator but also as a facilitator who creates an environment that supports social justice for all Indonesian people. This research uses normative legal research methods, using a case approach, a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. Overall, the success of government policies in dealing with agrarian conflicts and realizing social justice is highly dependent on a commitment to protecting people's rights and creating a just and transparent system. Implementation of the principles of social justice in every aspect of community life will be the key to achieving this goal. The aim of this research is to analyze the formulation of inclusive and socially just government policies regarding agrarian conflicts that occur in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the differences in interpersonal communication between supervisors and their ability to complete a thesis. The research method is a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The sample is Class 2019 class C students as the experimental class and Class 2019 class D students as the control class. The data collection technique uses tests and non-tests. The instruments are objective tests of the multiple choice type and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using the prerequisite normality test and homogeneity test. The results of the t-test which was carried out with the SPSS program, showed that the tcount value was greater than the ttable value, meaning that there was a significant difference in the ability to complete the thesis of experimental class and control class students, so it could be concluded that there was a difference in the supervisor's interpersonal communication on the ability to complete thesis.

Abstract

The right of self-defence is adopted in positive law. Self-defence in forced conditions due to aggression that threatens life, body, or property becomes the basis for exemption from punishment. This study uses the doctrinal type of legal research to justify the right of self-defence from the perspective of Locke's philosophy and Islamic law by collecting, analysing, and interpreting primary and secondary sources of law. In Locke's philosophy, the right to self-defence derives from the executive power of natural law that an individual has in a state of nature to be the judge and executor of natural law against all acts of violation of natural law that threaten their life, freedom, and property. In a political Society formed by mutual consensus to replace the natural state, individuals agree to relinquish the executive power of natural law to a civil government. In a political Society, the civil government is the judge and executor of the law for any dispute between individuals. However, the transfer of Natural Law executive power to the civil government is not absolute because, in certain circumstances that cause the civil government to be unable to protect life, freedom, and property, individuals can reuse their natural law executive power to safeguard themselves. The right of self-defence in a political society becomes a secondary means of self-protection only in circumstances where the civil government cannot protect individuals from threats to life, liberty, and property. Under Islamic law, defending one's own or others' life, honour, and property is the right of every Muslim without relying on a civilian government. Self-defence is carried out in proportion to acts of aggression. Based on Locke's philosophy and Islamic law, adopting the right of self-defence in positive law must have its limits defined to prevent its arbitrary use in an anarchic society

Abstract

Article 17 paragraph (2) of the Government Administration Law which positions ultra vires as a species in the genus abuse of power is incorrect. Ultra vires is its own type of deviation from the use of power which is different from abuse of power. The legal consequences of ultra vires actions by government organs are null and void, which means that from the beginning the action and its legal consequences have no existence in law, and are not invalid as stipulated in Article 70 paragraph (1) of the Government Administration Law. Actions of government organs that are null and void must be declared in a state administrative court decision that the action is null and void and does not create or change any legal situation.

Abstract

Pemahaman tentang optik sangat penting bagi siswa SMA karena materi ini tidak hanya relevan secara akademik tetapi juga memberikan banyak manfaat praktis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Konsep optik salah satunya akan lebih mudah dipahami melalui pelaksanaan eksperimen dimana siswa belajar cara menganalisis fenomena berdasarkan hukum fisika melalui serangkaian pengukuran. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdi dari Departemen Fisika ITS menyelenggarakan pelatihan penggunaan spherometer bagi siswa SMAN 1 Plaosan Magetan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan spherometer sebagai alat untuk menentukan jari-jari kelengkungan lensa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Plaosan Magetan, dengan peserta siswa kelas XI. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dimulai dengan penjelasan teori tentang prinsip kerja spherometer, demonstrasi penggunaan alat, serta praktik langsung oleh siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahami cara kerja spherometer dan mengaplikasikannya untuk mengukur jari-jari kelengkungan lensa dengan akurasi yang baik. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap fisika dan pemanfaatan alat-alat laboratorium. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pembelajaran berbasis praktik yang mendukung penguasaan materi fisika secara aplikatif. Siswa tidak hanya mengembangkan pemahaman akademik tetapi juga membangun keterampilan berpikir kritis dan rasa ingin tahu tentang perkembangan teknologi. Tim pengabdi akan mengadakan evaluasi berkala untuk melihat efektivitas pelatihan dan mengembangkan metode pelatihan yang lebih menarik dan relevan dengan perkembangan ilmu fisika terutama di SMAN 1 Plaosan sebagai keberlanjutan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Background: Tinea corporis or also known as ringworm, is a superfisial fungal infection of The skin that can effect people of all ages and genders. Hyperglycemia is a risk factor for tinea corporis in diabetic patients (especially type 2 diabetes mellitus), so that glycemic control plays an important role in The prevention and management of this condition. This study aims to determine the relations between hyperglycemia and tinea corporis in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Graha Hermine Hospital Batam in 2021. Methods: This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design in 71 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients visiting Graha Hospital Hermine Batam in 2021 which was selected using the purposive sampling method. Data is secondary data derived from medical records. Data analysis was performed with The Fisher statistical test. Results: The average age of the research respondents was in the 46-55 year group and based on the gender of the respondents in this study, 52.1% were male and 47.9% female. As many as 57.7% of respondents experienced hyperglycemia and 7.0% experienced tinea corporis. There is no relationship between hyperglycemia and the incidence of tinea corporis in diabetes mellitus patients at Graha Hermine Hospital Batam in 2021 (p=0,644). Conclusion: There is no relationship between hyperglycemia and the incidence of tinea corporis in diabetes mellitus patients at Graha Hermine Hospital Batam in 2021.

Abstract

Background: Knee osteoarthritis is a multifactorial degenerative joint disease associated with damage to the cartilage of the knee joint. Risk factors that play a role are increasing age, body mass index. OA affects ³ 45 years of age. This study aims to determine the relationship between age and body mass index with the incidence of knee osteoarthritis in women at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Lubuk Baja Batam City. Methods: This research is a type of quantitative research. This research method is analytic observation with a cross sectional approach conducted at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Lubuk Baja Batam City for the period 2022. Data were taken from medical records. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total sample size of 62 patients. The results of the study were analyzed by frequency distribution and then tested with the Chi-Square correlation test to determine the relationship. Results: The results showed the relationship between knee osteoarthritis with age p = 0.000 (significant), the relationship between knee osteoarthritis with body mass index p = 0.000 (significant). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between age and body mass index with the incidence of knee osteoarthritis in women at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Lubuk Baja Batam City.

Abstract

Students' passing skills are still less than optimal, as evidenced by the still quite high number of failed passes in class VI in MI Mambaul Ulum Kasri, Bululawang District, Malang Regency. Teachers have never used the STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) method. to improve students' ability to make down passes. This research aims to determine the ability of down passing techniques in volleyball games at MI Mambaul Ulum Kasri, Bululawang District, Malang Regency using the STAD type cooperative method. It can be concluded that learning using the STAD type cooperative method is able to improve the ability of lower passing techniques in volleyball games at MI Mambaul Ulum Kasri, Bululawang District, Malang Regency.

Abstract

The two types of invalidity of administrative acts in the Government Administration Law, which include invalid and voidable, are not in accordance with the concept of invalidity in administrative law. The aim of this research is to find answers to two problems, first, the concept of administrative acts in the Government Administration Law, and second, the correct meaning regarding the invalidity of decisions based on the concepts and principles of administrative law. Using a doctrinal type of legal research with a legislation approach and a conceptual approach, this research produces two conclusions. First, the concept of decision in the Government Administration Law is a decision in a broad sense including general case decisions (besluit) and individual case decisions (beschikking) including factual actions, and the latter is not appropriate. Second, the nullity of administrative acts in administrative law includes being null and void and voidable, firstly the decision and its legal consequences are deemed to have never existed, secondly the decision and its legal consequences are valid until they are annulled by a later decision or administrative court.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the use of curriculum 2013 at the SMP Negeri 2 Sepauk, Sintang. It started from the preparation until the process of the teaching and learning process. This study discussed about the implementation of the curriculum, difficulty, and how to overcome the difficulty in teaching and learning using curriculum 2013. The subjects of this study are the English teachers, the principle, the vice principle of curriculum, and the seventh grade students. Furthermore, the writer used interview also observation checklist as the tools in obtaining the data. As the result, the implementation of curriculum 2013 has not been running as it supposed to be. The result of this study is expected to be informative to many educators such as teacher, reader, or students which are correlated with English Educational system and give a good image of the schools condition in using curriculum 2013.
