Abstract

Verbal aggression is a very worrying phenomenon because humans basically need each other in their social life every day, frequent acts of verbal aggression make this behavior reasonable and even considered to have no serious impact. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between School Climate and Emotional Intelligence with Verbal Aggressive Behavior. This research is a quantitative research with a correlation type. Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of the School Climate scale, the Emotional Intelligence scale and the verbal aggression scale. the subjects in this study were vocational students and the number of subjects in this study amounted to 189 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is Spearman's Non-Parametric Rank analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the following results were obtained: 1) there was a significant negative relationship between School Climate and Verbal Aggression (-.344 and p = 0.000; p <0.01). 2) there is a significant negative relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Verbal Aggression (-.271 and p = 0.000; p <0.01). The results of this study concluded that each variable of school climate and emotional intelligence had a very significant relationship with aggressive verbal. But the two variables are not simultaneously associated with verbal aggression.

Abstract

When someone perceives significant differences in others, they may feel anxious about the potential for negative interactions or undesirable outcomes that may arise from such interactions. This is referred to as intergroup anxiety. It is important to research the validity and reliability of the intergroup anxiety scale for international students in Indonesia because intergroup anxiety affects various psychological variables in them. One of the most commonly used instruments to measure intergroup anxiety is the Intergroup Anxiety Scale (IAS) by Walter G. Stephan and Cookie White Stephan, developed since 1985. This study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the IAS in the context of international students in Indonesia. From the analysis of 100 collected data points, the results show that the IAS used in this study meets the criteria for content validity, construct validity, and reliability. The results indicate that the IAS meets four Goodness of Fit criteria, with RMSEA = 0.079, SRMR = 0.074, NFI = 0.90, and CFI = 0.95. Furthermore, the reliability of the IAS was evaluated with an Average Variance Extracted (AVE) value of 0.57. The overall Composite Reliability (CR) value reached 0.93. Therefore, it can be concluded that the IAS is a valid and reliable tool for measuring self-construal among international students in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify potential antimalarial compounds targeting the Plasmodium falciparum lactate dehydrogenase enzyme (PfLDH), given the parasite's dependency on glycolysis for energy production. Considering the high similarity of LDH enzymes across Plasmodium species, developing novel PfLDH inhibitors may offer therapeutic benefits, particularly against P. vivax, P. malariae, and P. ovale. Computational approaches were employed to screen natural compounds from the Cratoxylum genus (Cratoxylum glaucum and Cratoxylum arborescens). Molecular docking was performed using Molegro Virtual Docking (MVD) to assess binding affinity. SwissADME was utilized to evaluate pharmacokinetic, physicochemical, synthetic accessibility properties, and ProTox II was used for toxicity prediction. Molecular docking results indicated that fuscaxanthone C and 3-geranyloxy-6-methyl-1,8-dihydroxyanthraquinone exhibited strong inhibitory activity against PfLDH, with rerank scores of -103.068 kcal/mol and -111.141 kcal/mol, respectively surpassing the reference ligand chloroquine (-94.307 kcal/mol). Pharmacokinetic analysis revealed that all compounds, except stigmasterol and fuscaxanthone C, met Lipinski’s Rule of Five. Toxicity prediction categorized fuscaxanthone C as Class III (toxic). Additionally, synthetic accessibility predictions indicated that all compounds, except stigmasterol, are easy to synthesize. Natural compounds from the Cratoxylum genus, particularly 3-geranyloxy-6-methyl-1,8-dihydroxyanthraquinone, show promise as PfLDH inhibitors. Despite its potency, fuscaxanthone C's toxicity profile warrants caution. Further studies are needed to validate these findings through in vitro and in vivo testing.

Abstract

Andisol is soil located in volcanic mountain areas with the characteristics of black or dark soil and is formed from volcanic ash. The main problem is that Andisol soil has andic properties if the soil is dry, the soil does not easily absorb water anymore and the aggregate stability is low so it is easy for soil particles to be eroded from the hill. andosol. The aim of the research was to examine the influence of cinnamon and coffee plants on the stability of Andisol aggregates, relatively similar to forest soil. The usefulness of research on cinnamon and coffee plants is expected to be able to replace forest vegetation in the physical properties of Andisol soil. The research was carried out in Lembah Masurai District, Merangin Regency. at an altitude of 1300 m above sea level with the Andisol type. The research was carried out over 4 months in 2024. Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Physics and Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University. Soil sampling to determine soil aggregate density, organic matter content, bulk volume and soil permeability was carried out by survey using the Proportive Random Sampling method in areas planted with cinnamon, coffee, cinnamon mixed with coffee plants and forest soil on a slope of 8% - 15 %. The parameters observed were organic matter content, permeability, soil volume weight, total pore space, aggregate percentage, soil aggregate stability. Each treatment was repeated 15 times. To differentiate the physical properties of Andisol, cinnamon, coffee, cinnamon mixed with coffee and forest soil were planted. carried out with the Unpaired Middle Value Test at the 5% level (Steel and Torrie, 1995). From the results of the Unpaired Middle Value Test, it was found that replacing forest with cinnamon plants, the organic matter content, aggregate percentage, and aggregate stability were the same as forest soil but different from coffee plantings and mixed cinnamon and coffee plantations. Abstract

Iklan permen juga tidak terlepas dari persaingan tersebut. Para produsen permen selalu berusaha menarik perhatian dari audiens untuk mendapatkan perhatian. Iklan permen suteka adalah salah satunya. Pada dekade 2000-an, iklan permen suteka tidak hanya menampilkan keunggulan atau review produk melainkan menampilkan atau mengeksploitasi tubuh perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang seksualitas perempuan dalam iklan Suteka yang memperlihatkan objektifikasi seksual dari tubuh perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan semiotika dari Roland Barthes sebagai metode penelitiannya. Hasil temuan yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa iklan Surteka ini menggunakan male gaze dan menampilkan perempuan sebagai objek pemuas. Eksploitasi seksualitas terlihat jelas pada iklan Suteka dan ditandai dengan narasi dan adegan seperti pakaian terbuka, membelai leher untuk menggoda, suara desahan, dan lain-lain. Perempuan ditampilkan sebagai obyek seks yang menggoda bagi laki-laki dalam iklan ini.

Abstract

Film Mita ini menceritakan seorang perempuan yang bernama Mita ingin mencari pasangan seperti seorang Ayahnya, yakni Mita menguji kesetiaan Fatur dengan cara lupa ingatan. Adapun proses kreatif dalam konsep color grading yang digunakan pada film Film Mita adalah untuk membangun mood pada karakter tokoh utama. Dalam film Mita, pengkarya menggunakan 3 warna dalam color grading yaitu kuning, hijau, dan biru. Kemudian pengkarya menggunakan 4 teknik yaitu Basic Correction, RGB Curves, Color Match, dan HSL Secondary. Selanjutnya dengan membangun mood karakter tokoh utama pada film Mita, adanya menggambarkan seperti mood keceriaan, kegelisahan, keresahan. Sehingga dengan semua konsep pada film Mita ini supaya penonton ikut merasakan apa yang tampak dalam visual adegan.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Experimental Garden of Muhammadiyah University of South Tapanuli, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of goat manure and plant spacing on the growth and production of long beans. The design used was factorial 4 x 3 in a randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of goat manure with 4 stages, namely: K0 = 0, K1 = 0.5 kg/plot, K2 = 1 kg/plot, K3 = 2 kg/plot. The second factor is spacing with 3 stages, namely: J1 20cm x 20cm, J2 30cm x 20cm and J3 40cm x 20cm. From the results of the study based on statistical analysis of the parameters of plant height, flowering age, pod weight per sample and pod weight per plot on goat manure treatment, plant spacing and interaction of goat manure, plant spacing had a significant effect. The parameter of plant height for giving goat manure at the treatment dose of 2 kg/plot was 65.44 cm, the spacing treatment was 20 cm x 20 cm, namely 58.33 cm and the highest interaction of goat manure and plant spacing was found at the dose of goat manure at a dose of 2 kg/ plots and with a spacing of 20 cm x 20 cm which is 72.33 cm, the flowering age parameter where in the goat manure treatment there is the fastest flowering age results are found in the treatment with a dose of 0.5 Kg/plot which is 38.11 days, the fastest spacing treatment is 20 cm x 20 cm is 38.50 and the interaction of goat manure and spacing, the fastest flowering age is found in goat manure at a dose of 0.5 kg/plot and with a spacing of 20 cm x 30 cm, which is 37 days, on the persapel pod weight parameter at the goat manure treatment had the highest yield at the treatment dose of 2 Kg/plot, namely 149 gr, the spacing treatment was 40 cm x 20 cm, namely 135.91 gr and the highest interaction of goat manure and plant spacing was found at the goat manure dose of 2 kg/plot and with a spacing of 40 cm x 20 cm which is 159 gr, in the treatment of pod weight per plot in the goat manure treatment there is the highest yield in the treatment of a dose of 2 Kg/plot which is 3440 gr, the spacing treatment is 40 cm x 20 cm which is 2850 gr and fertilizer interactions goat shed and the highest spacing was found at the dose of goat manure at a dose of 2kg/plot and with a spacing of 40 cm x 20 cm, namely 3750 gr.INTISARIPenelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobahan Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan, , tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kandang kambing  dan jarak tanam  terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang panjang. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah faktorial 4 x 3 dalam rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama dosis  pupuk kandang kambing dengan 4 tarap yaitu : K0 =0 , K1 = 0,5Kg/plot, K2 = 1 Kg/plot, K3 = 2Kg/plot. Faktor kedua Jarak tanam  dengan 3 tarap yaitu : J1 20cm x 20cm, J2 30cm x 20cm dan J3 40cm x 20cm.   Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis secara statistik parameter tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, berat berat polong persampel dan berat polong per plot terhadap perlakuan pupuk kandang kambing, jarak tanam dan interaksi pupuk kandang kambing, jarak tanam berpengaruh nyata. Parameter tinggi tanaman pemberian pupuk kandang kambing pada perlakuan dosis 2 Kg/plot yaitu 65,44cm, perlakuan jarak adalah 20 cm x 20 cm yaitu 58,33 cm dan interaksi pupuk kandang kambing dan jarak tanam tertinggi terdapat pada dosis pupuk kandang kambing  dosis 2kg/plot dan dengan jarak tanam 20 cm x 20 cm yaitu 72,33 cm, parameter umur berbunga dimana pada perlakuan pupuk kambing terdapat hasil umur berbunga tercepat terdapat pada perlakuan dosis 0,5 Kg/plot yaitu 38,11 hari, , perlakuan jarak tercepat  adalah 20 cm x 20 cm yaitu 38,50 dan interaksi pupuk kandang kambing dan jarak tanam umur tercepat berbunga terdapat pada pupuk kandang kambing dosis 0,5kg/plot dan dengan jarak tanam 20 cm x 30 cm yaitu 37 hari, pada parameter berat polong persapel pada perlakuan pupuk kambing terdapat hasil tertinggi pada perlakuan dosis 2 Kg/plot yaitu 149 gr, perlakuan jarak adalah 40 cm x 20 cm yaitu 135,91 gr dan interaksi pupuk kandang kambing dan jarak tanam tertinggi terdapat pada dosis pupuk kandang kambing  dosis 2kg/plot dan dengan jarak tanam 40 cm x 20 cm yaitu 159 gr, pada perlakuan berat polong per Plot pada perlakuan pupuk kambing terdapat hasil tertinggi pada perlakuan dosis 2 Kg/plot yaitu 3440 gr, perlakuan jarak adalah 40 cm x 20 cm yaitu 2850 gr dan interaksi pupuk kandang kambing dan jarak tanam tertinggi terdapat pada dosis pupuk kandang kambing  dosis 2kg/plot dan dengan jarak tanam 40 cm x 20 cm yaitu 3750 gr.

Abstract

This research was carried out in December 2021 at the Experimental Garden of Muhammadiyah University of South Tapanuli, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quail manure and the type of Extra Green fertilizer on sweet potato production. The design used was a 4 x 4 factorial in a randomized design. group (RAK) with 3 replications. The first factor was the dose of quail manure with 4 stages, namely: P0 = 0 , P1 = 1 kg/plot, P2 = 2 kg/plot, P3 = 3 kg/plot. Abstract

Lokan is a type of shellfish and is one of the fishery products in the Majlis Hidayah Village, Kuala Jambi District, Tanjabtim Regency, Jambi Province. The village is an area on the east coast of Sumatra, approximately 70 km from the provincial capital of Jambi. Lokan meat has a chemical composition of 2.36 – 4.95% carbohydrates, 7.06 – 16.87% protein and 0.40 – 2.47% fat with an energy of 69 – 88 kcal/100 gram. (Hasan et al., 2014) in Pratiwi et.al. 2021. Lokan clams in the village of Majelis Hidayah are sold fresh and boiled and have never been made in processed form. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide counseling on the diversification of local processed products using natural colorant from Angkak. This community service activity involved 2 (two) groups of Fishermen's Families of Berkah and Anugrah located in the Majlis Hidayah Village, Kuala Jambi District, Tanjabtim Regency, Jambi Province. The implementation of this activity was carried out by counseling and demonstrating the making of lokan sauce to 2 (two) groups of fishermen's families. The output achieved was that the fishing family group Berkah and Anugrah were able to make local processed products into lokan sauce by using Angkak as a natural colorant, resulting in red lokan sauce. The conclusion of this community service activity is that the Berkah and Anugrah Fisherman Family Group can make local processed products into local sauce by using Angkak as a natural dye.
