Abstract

Latar belakang: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menggambarkan teks pada ujaran yang disampaikan oleh Pak Isran. Adapun teori yang digunakan dalam analisis wacana ini yakni model Teun A . VanDijk, yakni membahas secara mendalam isi objek penelitian ini yaitu ujaran Pak Isran Noor pada saat mengisi kuliah umum di UNHAS.Metode penelitian: Data penelitian ini didapatkan dari menonton tayangan vlog di youtube dan menganalisis dengan menggunakan kajian pustaka.Hasil penelitian: Dari hasil penelitian ini mencakup ananlisis tiga struktur dimensi Teks Analisis van Dijk yang berkaitan dengan struktur yakni berkaitan dengan tema kritik terhadap isu yang berkembang di masyarakat, super struktur mengacu pada alur yang disampaikan mulai dari pembuka, isi, penutup yang terdiri dari beberapa temuan kata semantik, sintaksis, data stilistik dari data retoris berdasarkan tayangan youtube UNHAS yang membahas tentang pembangunan IKN di Kalimantan Timur yang sudah dianalisis.Kesimpulan: Oleh karena itu, dimensi teks dalam ujaran pak Isran Noor sangat tepat.

Abstract

Jumlah sekolah di Indonesia terus meningkat, meskipun masih didominasi sekolah negeri, tetapi fenomena sekolah yang dinaungi perusahaan terus meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan manajemen pembiayaan sekolah yang dinaungi perusahaan dengan mengamati kebijakan anggaran sekolah. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menerapkan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi saat penyediaan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan di sekolah yayasan yang dinaungi perusahaan disusun berdsarkan arahan dari perusahaan dan juknis dari pemerintah; (2) Penggunaan pembiayaan pendidikan dilaksanakan penuh tanggung jawab dan sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku; (3) Sistem pengawasan pembiayaan sekolah tidak hanya dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, tetapi juga dilaksanakan oleh kepala bagian keuangan yayasan serta auditor eksternal perusahaan; (4) Perencanaan, penggunaan, dan pengawasan pembiayaan SMA Yayasan yang dinaungi perusahaan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah

Abstract

Abstract: The demand to improve the quality of education at the elementary and junior high school levels has made teacher work effectiveness a critical indicator of institutional success. In this context, the principal's leadership and the workload faced by teachers are dominant factors influencing their motivation and performance. Principals who apply servant leadership are believed to be capable of creating a supportive and collaborative work environment, thereby potentially increasing teachers' motivation and work effectiveness. However, on the other hand, the high workload serves as a serious obstacle that can reduce teacher enthusiasm. This study aims to determine how servant leadership and workload affect teacher work effectiveness, both directly and indirectly, through work motivation as an intervening variable. This research is limited to elementary and junior high school teachers in Kaubun District. It employs a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consists of all elementary and junior high school teachers in Kaubun District, totaling 207 teachers. The sample was determined using proportionate random sampling based on the Slovin formula, resulting in 137 respondents. Data analysis tools included SPSS and the Sobel calculator to test the intervening variable. The findings reveal that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher work effectiveness (0.174), while workload has a significant negative effect (-0.325). The indirect influence tested using the Sobel calculator shows that work motivation mediates the effect of servant leadership and workload on teacher work effectiveness. The significance values for the mediation of servant leadership and workload through work motivation were both 0.000 (Path I and Path II), indicating that work motivation successfully mediates these effects. The conclusion of this study is that servant leadership directly has a positive effect on teacher work effectiveness, while workload directly has a negative effect. Indirectly, work motivation is able to mediate the influence of both servant leadership and workload on teacher work effectiveness. Dalam konteks ini, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan beban kerja yang dihadapi guru menjadi faktor dominan yang memengaruhi motivasi serta kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini terbatas pada guru Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kecamatan Kaubun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru SD dan SMP di Kecamatan Kaubun yang berjumlah 207 guru. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan metode proportionate random sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin, sehingga diperoleh 137 responden. Alat bantu analisis data menggunakan SPSS dan Kalkulator Sobel untuk menguji variabel intervening. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil servant leadership memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja guru dengan sebesar 0,174 dan beban kerja memberikan pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja guru sebesar -0,325. Pada pengaruh tidak langsung yang di uji dengan kalkulator sobel didapatkan hasil bahwa motivasi kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh servant leadership dan beban kerja terhadap efektivitas kerja guru. Nilai Signifikansi pada servant leadership dan beban kerja terhadap efektivitas kerja guru melalui motivasi kerja sebesar 0.000 (Jalur I) dan 0,000 (Jalur II) mengidikasikan bahwa motivasi kerja memediasi pengaruh tersebut. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine how the Clash of Champions (COC) educational product strategy by Ruangguru is responded to by Generation Z through analysis of YouTube comments and user interviews. The main focus of this research is to understand the forms of acceptance, social meaning, and the value of representation and participation that arise in digital interactions with learning innovations. The method used was a qualitative approach with netnography techniques to the top 300 comments on the Ruangguru YouTube channel, as well as in-depth interviews with four students from two universities in East Kalimantan. The results of the study show that COC is not only perceived as a digital learning program, but also as a social space that strengthens motivation, pride, collective identity, and criticism of popular culture that is less educational. Data visualizations such as word cloud, tree maps, and concept maps show that user participation goes beyond passive consumption, by displaying emotional engagement and strong representation drives. These findings underscore the importance of social, affective, and value dimensions in the success of digital educational programs. This research contributes to the development of user-based educational innovations, as well as offers a participatory approach in designing educational strategies that are more inclusive and relevant to the characteristics of the younger generation.

Abstract

School-Based Management (SBM) is an educational management approach that grants schools autonomy to manage resources and make independent decisions by involving principals, teachers, parents, and the community to improve education quality. This study aims to describe the implementation of SBM at Linggang Bigung Public Senior High School as a strategic effort to enhance school quality. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research focuses on the planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision processes of SBM at SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Linggang Bigung. Data were collected through interviews with principals, teachers, students, and parents, as well as through documentation analysis related to SBM implementation. The findings indicate that the implementation of SBM successfully created a learning environment more relevant to the needs of students and the community, while also increasing transparency and accountability in school management. Evaluations conducted at both schools showed significant achievements in academic performance and student character development. However, follow-up actions on evaluation results still require optimization, particularly in strengthening corrective measures and improving facilities and infrastructure. Furthermore, the principals’ leadership, characterized by adaptive and transformational styles, effectively motivated teachers and staff to innovate in teaching practices. In conclusion, active participation from all stakeholders—including teachers, students, parents, and school committees plays a crucial role in reinforcing SBM implementation, which in turn contributes to comprehensive improvements in education quality.

Abstract

The principal must have good management skills in improving teacher performance. This study aims to describe the planning, organizing, implementing and supervising carried out by the principal to improve teacher performance at the Islamic Center Elementary School in Samarinda. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data validity tested through triangulation of sources and methods. The research findings reveal that 1) Principal  planning through comprehensive identification of teacher professional development needs, designing relevant ongoing training programs, providing resources and infrastructure that support learning innovation, and formulating measurable performance targets and transparent evaluation systems 2) Organizing principal  must be reflected through the application of collaborative management principles, including clear and accountable division of tasks, the formation of competent supervisory and mentor teams, and facilitating effective communication and synergistic collaboration between teachers, 3) The implementation of principal  is implemented through the provision of training, application workshops, and the adoption of innovative technology-based learning models to spur teacher creativity and mastery of technology, 4) Supervision of principal  is carried out through clinical supervision that focuses on development, formative evaluation of teacher performance, constructive follow-up of evaluation results, and ongoing individual coaching programs. Comprehensively, principal leadership management to improve teacher performance through training has been implemented effectively and consistently with the principles of modern education management. This study provides practical implications for the development of an effective principal leadership model in improving the quality of education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Principal leadership and school culture are important aspects that can affect the quality of services in various educational institutions. these two aspects support in improving the quality of education which can be seen from the quality of educational services in a school. This study aims to determine the effect of principal leadership and school culture on the quality of educational services at State Senior High Schools in Tenggarong. Multiple linear regression is an approach to modeling the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables. This study uses multiple linear regression methods with sampling techniques using simple random sampling. The research site of 3 senior high schools in Tenggarong with a total population of 287 students, while the sample taken was 167 students. Data is collected through a questionnaire, which has been conduct for the validity and reliability test. The results showed that overall, these two factors contributed simultaneously to the quality of education services with a coefficient of determination of 76%, while the remaining 24% was influenced by other factors not identified in the model in this study. The results show that principal leadership has a significant effect of 0.742 on the quality of education services, while school culture has a significant effect of 0.661 on the quality of education services in 3 Tenggarong high schools. The importance of synergy between principal leadership and school culture has a positive impact on the ability of human resources in the school, so that the quality of service and quality of education can be improved.

Abstract

Pesantren-based curriculum management is a blend of the national curriculum and the foundation’s curriculum, administered within an educational management system to provide continuous knowledge acquisition in both general sciences and Islamic studies. This study aims to describe the pesantren-based curriculum management, covering planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation at Al Azhar 46 Kindergarten, Samarinda. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through a case study approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validity ensured through source triangulation. The findings reveal that: 1) Curriculum planning at Al Azhar 46 Kindergarten begins with an analysis of community needs, emphasizing religious education based on adab (Islamic manners) to instill religious and moral values from an early age. The curriculum is formulated on the philosophical foundation of the Qur’an and Hadith to ensure religious content aligns with Islamic teachings. 2) The pesantren-based curriculum development highlights tahfizh (Qur’an memorization) classes and adab learning, implemented continuously from kindergarten through junior high school to nurture noble character from an early age. 3) Curriculum management implementation at Al Azhar 46 Kindergarten is conducted through structured planning that integrates the national and religious curricula in a balanced manner. The learning process emphasizes teacher role modeling, habituation of religious values, and employs tahfizh methods such as Alsam and Tilawati. 4) The evaluation of pesantren-based curriculum management is carried out regularly and systematically, including annual work meetings, semester coordination meetings, and program evaluations every three months. 5) The implementation of pesantren-based curriculum management at Al Azhar 46 Kindergarten positively impacts the quality of learning. The curriculum management has been executed systematically, adhering to the functions of curriculum management through the development of technical guidelines and integrative modules that facilitate the balanced implementation of both the national and pesantren curricula

Abstract

Inclusive education is an educational system that ensures equity and equality for all students, including those with special needs, within regular educational institutions. Although the implementation of inclusive education in schools is supported by legal frameworks and national policies, there remain gaps between the policy standards and actual practices in schools, including at SMA Negeri 1 Penajam Paser Utara. This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of inclusive education policy at SMA Negeri 1 Penajam Paser Utara; (2) identify the barriers to its implementation; and (3) explore solutions to overcome these barriers. This research adopts a qualitative approach using an evaluation method. The findings reveal that: (1) the implementation of inclusive education policy at SMA Negeri 1 Penajam Paser Utara has not fully met the standards set by regulations; (2) the key barriers include the availability of special education teachers, initial assessments, infrastructure, and funding; and (3) proposed solutions involve strengthening resources, improving programs, and requesting additional funding. Inclusive education is expected to be implemented more effectively through systematic and comprehensive improvements at the school level, thereby providing fair and equal services to all students, including those with special needs.
