Abstract

The implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in State Vocational Schools (SMK) in Palangka Raya aims to enhance the quality of education sustainably through the management of learning, teacher and staff involvement, and curriculum development. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection techniques. TQM focuses on student and parent satisfaction, as well as improving the quality of graduates to be more competitive in the job market.The results of TQM implementation indicate significant improvements in education quality, including increased satisfaction among students and parents. However, challenges such as limited human resources, budget constraints, and management's lack of sustained commitment persist. To address these challenges, State Vocational Schools have conducted teacher training, established collaborations with industries, and implemented transparent evaluation systems. By instilling a culture of quality throughout all school elements, it is hoped that State Vocational Schools can continuously improve educational quality and produce graduates who excel in the workforce.

Abstract

The quality of education in schools is influenced by various factors, including financial management, school climate, and teacher performance. These factors play a crucial role in improving school services and overall educational outcomes. This study was conducted to explore how these variables impact the quality of education in public junior high schools in the Sungai Durian subdistrict, Kotabaru Regency. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of financial management, school climate, and teacher performance on the quality of education in public junior high schools. A quantitative and explanatory research approach was used in this study. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents, including school administrators, teachers, and staff. The analysis employed multiple linear regression, with a T-test to examine the significance of the relationships between the variables. The study found that financial management, school climate, and teacher performance all have a positive relationship with school services and the quality of education. The T-test results showed that the values for financial management (4.343), school climate (3.426), and teacher performance (3.426) were higher than the T-table value, indicating significant positive influences. These findings suggest that improving financial management, enhancing the school climate, and increasing teacher performance are essential strategies for improving the quality of education in junior high schools. Educational authorities should focus on these areas to foster a more conducive learning environment and better educational outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi digital baik pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa Asistensi Mengajar dalam merancang pembelajaran inovatif, sebagai Upaya dalam memenuhi kompetensi pendidik Abad 21. Selain itu, Mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam asistensi mengajar perlu dibekali dengan kemampuan dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berbasis digital, salah satunya melalui E-LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik). Platform Wizer.Me dipilih karena kemudahan penggunaannya dalam membuat LKPD yang interaktif, menarik, dan mudah diakses. Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Subjek kegiatan ini adalah Mahasiswa asistensi mengajar Program Studi PGSD. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta memiliki pengetahuan merancang E-LKPD serta memiliki ketrampilan dalam merancang E-LKPD yang interaktif berbasis aplikasi wizer.me. Hasil pendampingan tersebut terlihat dari evaluasi kegiatan yang menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta terkait materi yang disampaikan adalah 93% dan tingkat keterampilan peserta dalam merancang E-LKPD berbasis wizer.me lebih dari 93%. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan perancangan model pembelajaran inovatif berjalan dengan sukses dan berhasil mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditentukan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe curriculum management in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through a multi-site study at SMPN 3 and SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. The focus of the research includes school principals' policies, teacher empowerment, and school partnerships. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that both schools successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in an adaptive and contextual manner. School principals acted as instructional leaders, both visionary and facilitative, by encouraging innovation, academic supervision, and collaborative reflection with teachers. Teachers were empowered as primary designers and implementers of learning through training, collaboration, and the development of teaching materials based on local potential. The use of technology and professional learning communities supported ongoing teacher development. Strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including community leaders, local entrepreneurs, religious institutions, and government agencies, strengthened the curriculum implementation. These collaborations supported contextual learning, character education, and community empowerment within the school environment.The study concludes that the synergy between strong school leadership, empowered teachers, and active partnerships is the key to successful curriculum management based on the Merdeka Curriculum. These findings provide implications for educational policy development, school capacity building, and teacher professional development in regions facing geographical and socio-cultural challenges. Keywords: management, curriculum, merdeka, teacher empowerment, partnership Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kurikulum dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui studi multi situs di SMPN 3 dan SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. Fokus penelitian mencakup kebijakan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan kemitraan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah mampu mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran yang visioner dan fasilitator, mendorong inovasi, supervisi akademik, serta refleksi bersama guru. Guru diberdayakan sebagai perancang dan pelaksana utama pembelajaran melalui pelatihan, kolaborasi, serta pengembangan perangkat ajar berbasis potensi lokal. Pemanfaatan teknologi dan komunitas belajar menjadi bagian penting dalam mendukung profesionalisme guru. Kemitraan strategis dengan berbagai pihak, seperti tokoh masyarakat, UMKM, lembaga keagamaan, dan instansi pemerintah, turut memperkuat pelaksanaan kurikulum. Kemitraan ini mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual, pendidikan karakter, dan pemberdayaan komunitas sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan penguatan kemitraan merupakan kunci keberhasilan manajemen kurikulum berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan, penguatan kapasitas sekolah, dan pengembangan profesional guru di daerah dengan tantangan geografis dan sosial budaya. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership of school principals, industry partnerships, teacher competence, and learning innovation on teacher work effectiveness in public vocational high schools (SMK) in Banjarbaru City. The urgency of this research is based on the increasing demands of globalization and technological development, which require teachers to be adaptive, competent, collaborative, and capable of implementing innovative learning practices. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A total of 123 teachers were selected as respondents through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been previously tested for validity and reliability. The analysis techniques included multiple regression, correlation, and path analysis, processed using SPSS version 27. The findings indicate that transformational leadership, industry partnerships, teacher competence, and learning innovation are categorized as good and significantly influence teacher work effectiveness. In addition to their direct effects, the three independent variables also exhibit indirect effects through learning innovation as a mediating variable. Learning innovation plays a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between leadership, partnerships with industry, and teacher competence toward improving teacher effectiveness. These results emphasize that teacher effectiveness is not solely determined by individual capability but also by supportive leadership practices and strategic collaboration with industry that enable teachers to implement technology-based innovative learning. The study recommends enhancing transformational leadership, strengthening teacher professional competence, and optimizing sustainable industry partnerships as strategic efforts to improve the overall quality of vocational education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, kemitraan dengan dunia industri, kompetensi guru, serta inovasi pembelajaran terhadap efektivitas kerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri Kota Banjarbaru. Permasalahan efektivitas kerja guru menjadi semakin penting seiring tuntutan era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran yang mengharuskan guru memiliki kemampuan adaptif, kolaboratif, dan inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional yang melibatkan 123 guru sebagai sampel yang dipilih melalui teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis meliputi regresi berganda, korelasi, dan analisis jalur (path analysis) yang diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional, kemitraan industri, kompetensi guru, dan inovasi pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik serta berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja guru. Selain pengaruh langsung, ketiga variabel utama juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung melalui inovasi pembelajaran sebagai variabel mediasi. Inovasi pembelajaran menjadi faktor penguat yang menjembatani hubungan antara kepemimpinan, kemitraan, dan kompetensi guru terhadap peningkatan efektivitas kerja. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas kerja guru tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan personal, tetapi juga oleh dukungan kepemimpinan yang visioner dan kolaborasi strategis dengan dunia industri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kepemimpinan transformasional, peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru secara berkelanjutan, serta optimalisasi kemitraan industri sebagai strategi penting untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan vokasi di SMK. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of information technology utilization, work environment, and work enthusiasm on the performance of educational staff at the Rectorate of Lambung Mangkurat University. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method and path analysis design. The population consisted of 260 educational staff members, and a sample of 158 respondents was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability using SPSS software. The results showed that the utilization of information technology had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a direct influence coefficient of 0.383. The work environment also had a positive and significant effect on performance, with a direct influence coefficient of 0.304. Work enthusiasm was found to have a positive effect on performance, with a coefficient of 0.327. Furthermore, the utilization of information technology affected work enthusiasm with a coefficient of 0.661, while the work environment affected work enthusiasm with a coefficient of 0.234. The indirect influence of information technology utilization on performance through work enthusiasm was 0.216, and the indirect influence of the work environment through work enthusiasm was 0.076. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the improvement of educational staff performance at the Rectorate of Lambung Mangkurat University is strongly influenced by the optimal use of information technology, a conducive work environment, and high work enthusiasm. Therefore, the organization needs to strengthen support for technology utilization and create a comfortable work climate to foster employee enthusiasm and achieve optimal performance. Keywords: Early Childhood Education, Educational Facilities, Discipline, Behaviorism, RA Assyifa’ Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, lingkungan kerja, dan semangat kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai tenaga kependidikan di Rektorat Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan pendekatan path analysis. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 260 orang tenaga kependidikan, dan sebanyak 158 responden dipilih sebagai sampel dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,383. Lingkungan kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,304. Semangat kerja terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien sebesar 0,327. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berpengaruh terhadap semangat kerja dengan koefisien 0,661, sedangkan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap semangat kerja dengan koefisien 0,234. Pengaruh tidak langsung pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja melalui semangat kerja sebesar 0,216, dan pengaruh tidak langsung lingkungan kerja melalui semangat kerja sebesar 0,076. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pegawai tenaga kependidikan di Rektorat Universitas Lambung Mangkurat sangat dipengaruhi oleh optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, serta semangat kerja yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, organisasi perlu memperkuat dukungan terhadap penggunaan teknologi informasi dan menciptakan iklim kerja yang nyaman untuk mendorong semangat kerja pegawai agar tercapai kinerja yang optimal. Abstract

Abstract: Teacher professionalism is a fundamental factor in human resource development, because the quality of education delivered by competent educators contributes directly to the formation of individuals with integrity, knowledge, and adequate skills to face future dynamics and challenges. Based on the results of initial observations, human resource development through teacher professional training is running well through a designed teacher professional development program and transformational leadership roles at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya and SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. This study aims to examine the professional development model that has been carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya and SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. Data collection through interviews, observations and document studies, was analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model through single-site data analysis and cross-site data analysis. The results of the study show that the development strategy designed by this school is effective in responding to the real needs of teachers and providing space for exploration of teaching practices. Teacher involvement appears as a result and condition for the implementation of a meaningful teacher professional development strategy. The results of the study show that transformational leadership has an important role in shaping relevant and adaptive strategies, thus having a direct impact on the success of teacher professional development. This shows that the quality of the principal's leadership, especially in terms of effective communication, appreciation, and support for individual development, is an interrelated factor with the involvement of teachers in the process. It is also recommended that the development of professional teachers be made a sustainable program. This research also opens up space for further research to understand the development of professional teachers in more depth. Abstrak: Profesionalisme guru merupakan faktor fundamental dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia, karena kualitas pendidikan yang disampaikan oleh tenaga pendidik yang kompeten berkontribusi langsung pada pembentukan individu yang berintegritas, berpengetahuan luas, serta memiliki keterampilan yang memadai untuk menghadapi dinamika dan tantangan masa depan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, pengembangan SDM melalui pelatihan profesional guru yang berjalan dengan baik melalui program pengembangan profesional guru yang dirancang dan peran kepemimpinan transformasional di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya dan SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah model pengembangan profesional yang sudah dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya dan SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen, dianalisis menggunakan model Miles & Huberman melalui analisis data satu situs dan analisis data lintas situs. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan yang dirancang oleh sekolah ini efektif dalam merespon kebutuhan nyata guru dan memberi ruang eksplorasi praktik mengajar. Keterlibatan guru muncul sebagai hasil dan syarat berjalannya strategi pengembangan profesional guru yang bermakna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk strategi yang relevan dan adaptif, sehingga berdampak langsung pada keberhasilan pengembangan profesional guru. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, khususnya dalam hal komunikasi yang efektif, pemberian apresiasi, serta dukungan terhadap pengembangan individu, menjadi faktor yang saling terkait dengan keterlibatan guru dalam proses tersebut. Disarankan pula agar pengembangan guru professional dijadikan program yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga membuka ruang bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk memahami pengembangan guru professional secara lebih mendalam. Abstract

This study examines management strategies for child-friendly school environments, focusing on policy, teacher competence, and principal communication in fostering inclusive culture. Using a qualitative multi-site design, the research was conducted in two secondary schools in Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan. Data were collected through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, then analyzed inductively using the Miles and Huberman model, supported by NVivo 14. Data trustworthiness was ensured through triangulation of sources, methods, and theories, as well as systematic documentation. Findings show that SMP Negeri 1 applied structured, policy-based strategies, including anti-bullying regulations, teacher training, and external collaboration, whereas SMP Negeri 7 emphasized religious character, environmental care, and creative adaptation to limited facilities. Teacher competence improved through project-based learning and inclusive pedagogy, while principals used transparent, participatory communication with teachers, parents, and communities. The study proposes an adaptive multidimensional framework integrating policy, culture, and leadership communication for sustainable child-friendly school governance and inclusive educational improvement across diverse institutional and social contexts in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines leadership strategies used by PKBM heads to build sustainable community partnerships, with attention to educator involvement and communication. Using a qualitative multi-site design, the research was conducted at PKBM Merah Putih and PKBM Azka Bamega in Kotabaru Regency, involving two heads, ten educators, and six community partners. Data were gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed inductively with Miles and Huberman’s (2014) interactive model and triangulation. Findings indicate that PKBM Merah Putih used participatory leadership, engaging educators in evaluations and collaborative decisions, whereas PKBM Azka Bamega relied on centralized leadership, strong in external partnerships but limited in educator participation. Communication combined coordination meetings, local collaboration, and contextual approaches. Cross-site synthesis revealed an adaptive integrative model balancing internal collaboration and external coordination. The study offers a context-responsive framework for non-formal education governance and practical guidance for strengthening educator capacity, communication, and sustainable partnerships in similar community-based settings nationwide.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe curriculum management in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through a multi-site study at SMPN 3 and SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. The focus of the research includes school principals' policies, teacher empowerment, and school partnerships. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that both schools successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in an adaptive and contextual manner. School principals acted as instructional leaders, both visionary and facilitative, by encouraging innovation, academic supervision, and collaborative reflection with teachers. Teachers were empowered as primary designers and implementers of learning through training, collaboration, and the development of teaching materials based on local potential. The use of technology and professional learning communities supported ongoing teacher development. Strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including community leaders, local entrepreneurs, religious institutions, and government agencies, strengthened the curriculum implementation. These collaborations supported contextual learning, character education, and community empowerment within the school environment.The study concludes that the synergy between strong school leadership, empowered teachers, and active partnerships is the key to successful curriculum management based on the Merdeka Curriculum. These findings provide implications for educational policy development, school capacity building, and teacher professional development in regions facing geographical and socio-cultural challenges. Keywords: management, curriculum, merdeka, teacher empowerment, partnership Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kurikulum dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui studi multi situs di SMPN 3 dan SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. Fokus penelitian mencakup kebijakan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan kemitraan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah mampu mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran yang visioner dan fasilitator, mendorong inovasi, supervisi akademik, serta refleksi bersama guru. Guru diberdayakan sebagai perancang dan pelaksana utama pembelajaran melalui pelatihan, kolaborasi, serta pengembangan perangkat ajar berbasis potensi lokal. Pemanfaatan teknologi dan komunitas belajar menjadi bagian penting dalam mendukung profesionalisme guru. Kemitraan strategis dengan berbagai pihak, seperti tokoh masyarakat, UMKM, lembaga keagamaan, dan instansi pemerintah, turut memperkuat pelaksanaan kurikulum. Kemitraan ini mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual, pendidikan karakter, dan pemberdayaan komunitas sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan penguatan kemitraan merupakan kunci keberhasilan manajemen kurikulum berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan, penguatan kapasitas sekolah, dan pengembangan profesional guru di daerah dengan tantangan geografis dan sosial budaya.
