Abstract

This study examines the relationship between academic stress and mental health among students at the University of Medan Area (UMA). Academic stress caused by demanding assignments, exams, and high expectations can affect students' emotional and social well-being. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design and involved 200 UMA students. Data were collected using a questionnaire that measured academic stress levels and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and burnout. The results showed that 64.5% of students experienced moderate to high levels of academic stress, which was comparable to mental health disorders, specifically anxiety (58.3%) and burnout (53.2%). The Pearson correlation test yielded a value of r = 0.748 (p = 0.000), indicating a significant positive relationship between academic stress and mental health. The reliability test showed Cronbach's Alpha values for the academic stress and mental health scales of 0.902 and 0.921, respectively, indicating excellent reliability. Factors contributing to academic stress include assignment load, tight deadlines, and high academic expectations. This study concluded that academic stress significantly influences students' mental health. Therefore, universities need to provide support such as counseling services, stress management training, and increased social support to help students cope with stress and improve their psychological well-being.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the ability to read simple sentences in grade 1B students of SDN 2 Tatura in learning Indonesian. The research subjects were 28 students, consisting of 16 males and 12 females. The research was conducted in two cycles using the PTK model which includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The main problem in this study is the low ability of students to understand and read simple sentences. As a solution, the Early Reading Writing (MMP) method was applied which is contextual and student-centered. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests using student worksheets (LKPD). The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student learning completion from 75% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II. These findings indicate that the MMP method is effective in improving the ability to read simple sentences of grade 1 students in the context of learning Indonesian

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in helping students deal with subject teachers who do not master or prepare the material at MAN 1 Medan. With a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, it was found that the learning process still faces serious obstacles, such as minimal variation in methods, lack of mastery of the material, and limited use of learning media. This causes students to become passive, lose interest in learning, and have difficulty understanding the material. To overcome this, BK Teachers implement various strategies, such as individual and group counseling services, classical guidance, and a persuasive approach to subject teachers. This strategy is effective in increasing students' motivation, mental readiness, and enthusiasm for learning, while creating a more conducive learning environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation in social studies subjects, to determine the influence of the reading guide method on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, and to determine the influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Gempol, Cirebon Regency.This research is a quantitative research. The design of this study Quasi experimented using the nonequivalent posttest-onty control group design. The study population was 15 students from class IX H and 15 students from class IX I, totaling 30 students selected through random sampling. The instruments used in this study were in the form of tests, questionnaires, observations of learning activities and documentation. The results of this study show that, there is an influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation in social studies subjects with a Sig value of 0.003, there is an influence of the reading guide method on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects with a sig value of 0.012, and there is an influence of the reading guide method on learning motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies subjects with a p value (sig) of 0.451. this means that student learning motivation and learning outcomes are influenced by the reading guide method.

Abstract

Advances in communication technology and social media have made it easier to access global information, but have also increased cases of cyberbullying on platforms such as X. The impact of cyberbullying can include physical and psychological disorders, such as increased loneliness, anxiety, depression, and decreased self-esteem. In addition, victims of cyberbullying may feel distress that can increase the risk of suicidal ideation. This research utilizes the Naïve Bayes method to effectively and efficiently classify cyberbullying-related comments. This classification model was developed to detect cyberbullying in comments on X, using the Naïve Bayes algorithm and a dataset from Kaggle consisting of 650 comments that contain cyberbullying characteristics and those that do not. This research includes several preprocessing steps such as tokenization, normalization, and stemming. The data was then divided into two parts: 80% for training data and 20% for testing data. The evaluation results show a model accuracy of 80.77%, precision 81.25%, recall 70.91%, and AUC 0.794. The innovation in this research lies in the use of 2 (two) stemming operators, namely stemming dictionary and stemming snowball, where the stemming dictionary uses a special file containing abbreviations or slang words, which are often used in comments on the word becomes its basic form. This model tends to be more accurate in classifying comments as non-bullying than bullying. Suggestions for improvement include exploring other preprocessing methods and algorithms, as well as using larger and more varied datasets.

Abstract

Stres yang dialami karyawan akibat lingkungan yang dihadapinya akan mempengaruhi kinerja dan kepuasan kerjanya. Kinerja yang menurun salah satunya dapat disebabkan oleh stres yang dialami karyawan. Kinerja seorang perawat dapat dilihat dari mutu asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan kepada pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa hubungan stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat dalam melaksanakan pelayanan keperawatan di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) RSUD Leuwiliang Kabupaten Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling yaitu dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 35 responden. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuosioner PSS 10 untuk variabel stress kerja dan lembar observasi untuk menilai kinerja. Analisa data yang digunakan adalan univariat dan bivariat dengan uji kendall’s tau. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p value sebesar 0,000 yang artinya p-value 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima.  Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan stres kerja dengan kinerja perawat dalam melaksanakan pelayanan keperawatan di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) RSUD Leuwiliang Kabupaten Bogor. Diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan kepada pihak manajemen RS khususnya untuk memberikan pelatihan, motivasi, maupun reward kepada perawat, sehingga kinerja perawat akan baik dan stress kerja perawat dapat berkurang.

Abstract

Reproductive health refers to the state of physical, mental, and social well-being related to the functions and systems of the human reproductive system. According to data from PKBI, approximately 15% of adolescents aged 10 to 24 years have had sexual intercourse outside of marriage. This is typically triggered by a strong curiosity about one's sexuality. Data obtained from the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases Unit (P2PM) of the Kendari City Health Department in 2023 recorded 283 cases of HIV/AIDS. This situation highlights the importance of appropriate educational interventions to enhance adolescents' understanding of maintaining reproductive health. This activity aims to increase knowledge about the importance of maintaining reproductive health by involving 26 students from SMAN 2 Kendari as a pilot class. The activity employed interactive lectures and the educational game “Ranking 1.” Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that the average pre-test score was 95 (SD = 6.56), while the post-test showed an increase to 97 (SD = 5.08). However, the changes observed did not show statistical significance (p=0.219). Nevertheless, every respondent (100%) showed a good level of knowledge from the pre-test to the post-test. These findings indicate that educational programs can contribute to maintaining students' high level of knowledge regarding reproductive health.

Abstract

Abstrack Immigration detention that allows immigration officials to detain foreigners without judicial proceedings creates complex legal problems, as it is categorized as an administrative action, despite having characteristics like criminal law. This creates confusion in legal classification. Using normative legal research methods, this study reveals that the current creating hybrid 'crimmigration' characteristics that blur administrative and criminal law boundaries. While the international community recognizes immigration detention as administrative law, this research argues that there is an excessive overlap between administrative and criminal law in Indonesian immigration law, which creates both substantive and procedural ambiguity. To ensure legal certainty, this research suggests a clear separation of legal classifications until there is strong justification for their intersection. To achieve this, the research proposes that immigration detention be conceptualized solely as a temporary holding facility, aimed at preventing risks to public security based on well-defined indicators, particularly for cases that cannot be addressed through criminal law mechanisms. Abstrak Penahanan imigrasi yang memungkinkan pejabat imigrasi menahan orang asing tanpa melalui pengadilan menimbulkan masalah hukum yang rumit karena dikategorikan sebagai tindakan administratif, padahal ia memiliki karakter yang serupa dengan hukum pidana. Hal ini menciptakan kebingungan dalam penggolongan hukum. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif, penelitian ini berargumen bahwa sistem saat ini menciptakan karakteristik 'krimigrasi', yaitu persinggungan yang mengaburkan batas-batas hukum administratif dan pidana. Meskipun komunitas internasional mengakui penahanan imigrasi sebagai hukum administratif, penelitian ini berargumen bahwa terdapattumpang tindih berlebihan antara hukum administrasi dan pidana dalam hukum imigrasi Indonesia, yang menimbulkan ketidakjelasan substantif maupun prosedural. Untuk menjamin kepastian hukum, penelitian ini menyarankan untuk memastikan pemisahan penggolongan hukum yang tegas hingga ada justifikasi yang kuat untuk persinggungan tersebut. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan agar penahanan imigrasi dipahami semata-mata sebagai fasilitas penempatan sementara dengan tujuan pencegahan risiko terhadap keamanan masyarakat berdasarkan indikator yang jelas, khususnya untuk kasus-kasus yang tidak dapat ditangani melalui mekanisme hukum pidana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi harga kopi robusta di Kabupaten Muara Enim pada tahun 2025 dengan menggunakan pendekatan data mining berbasis algoritma Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), dan Decision Tree. Harga kopi sebagai salah satu komoditas unggulan Indonesia mengalami fluktuasi yang signifikan sehingga dibutuhkan metode prediktif yang akurat guna membantu petani, pengusaha, dan pemangku kebijakan dalam menentukan strategi pasar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data harga kopi dari bulan Januari hingga April 2025 yang diperoleh langsung dari para pengumpul kopi di Muara Enim. Data tersebut diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak Orange Data Mining dan dibagi menjadi data training dan testing. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketiga algoritma memiliki tingkat akurasi yang bervariasi, di mana algoritma Random Forest memberikan hasil prediksi paling stabil. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan teknologi machine learning dapat membantu dalam meramalkan harga komoditas secara efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how good governance values are applied in administrative control at the Serang City Regional Secretariat. The focus of the research includes the impact of implementation on efficiency and accountability, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. Qualitative descriptive studies using interviews, observation, and documentation were used to collect data in this study. Mardiasmo's (2009) theory is used as the analytical framework, which emphasizes three main indicators of good governance: transparency, accountability, and efficiency and effectiveness. The results of this study also show that the principle of transparency has begun to be implemented through administrative information disclosure, although public access is still limited. Accountability has been realized in performance reporting, but it is not yet fully optimal due to incomplete and untimely reporting. Efficiency and effectiveness are hampered by limitations in human resources, budget, and information technology. The main supporting factors are leadership commitment and the availability of regulations, while obstacles include a work culture that is not yet accountable and weak internal supervision. This study recommends strengthening human resource capacity, digitizing administration, and improving an accountable work culture to realize a more orderly and transparent system of government.
