This research aims to find out effective strategies in increasing the awareness of the Kebagusan Village community about the importance of halal food certification for MSMEs. This research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The data sources used in this research come from interviews and various literature journal articles relevant to the research topic. The data analysis method used is thematic analysis. Halal food certification is the most important thing in the food industry, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The knowledge of the people of Kebagusan Village regarding halal certification is generally still limited, where halal certification is understood as a process of examining raw materials, production processes, and product quality control systems to ensure halalness according to established standards, but many only know the extent of getting a halal logo without understanding its broader benefits. The main factor hindering MSMEs in this village from pursuing halal certification is a lack of knowledge and socialization, with many businesses not fully understanding the procedures and benefits and seeing it as a formality. Minimal socialization, especially through social media which is less accessible to older MSME players, is also an obstacle. Therefore, strategies to increase awareness of halal certification including socialization, counseling and education are very important.

Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that impact millennial consumers' decisions to buy halal cosmetics. This study analyzes whether factors such as halal awareness, halal certification and religiosity are able to influence millennial consumers' decisions in buying halal cosmetics with purchase intention as a mediating variable. In this study, a quantitative method using survey research was applied. The method of sampling utilized in this investigation was incidental sampling, where the study sample was as many as 185 millennial consumers in Central Java province with the condition that they were millennials born between 1981 to 1996 and had bought halal cosmetic products. Data collection techniques use online questionnaires in the form of Google forms that are disseminated through social media, such as Instagram and Whatsapp. The data analysis method used is SEM-PLS by using SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. The results of this study found that the variables of halal awareness, halal certification and religiosity have a positive and significant influence on millennial consumers' decisions in buying halal cosmetics. Consumer purchase intent was able to mediate the relationship between variables of halal awareness, halal certification, religiosity and purchase decisions significantly. The findings of this research can be used as consideration for manufacturers or marketers of cosmetic products to pay attention to religious aspects in promoting their products. Those in the cosmetics industry who are trying to reach millennials might think about getting their products halal certified. Especially in the context of advertising. One marketing strategy that has shown success is labeling items as "halal certified."

The rapid development of online trading or e-commerce has become a new phenomenon in the Indonesian economy. This fact has not been proven to impact the welfare of digital economic equality in Indonesia positively. This study intends to explain the role of e-commerce in the distribution of the digital economy in Indonesia. This study uses a systematic literature review method. The data sources for this research come from books, journals, and other literature related to the role of e-commerce in the distribution of the digital economy in Indonesia. The findings in this literature review conclude that, ideally, high e-commerce transactions can benefit the realization of economic equality in Indonesia. This fact can be found in the e-commerce business, which has embraced local economic sectors such as agriculture, plantations, fisheries, and even MSMEs in all regions by playing an active role in this digital-based trade. Technology has been proven to break the long chain in the distribution process. Business actors in rural areas and regional MSMEs can be essential if they can make friends with technological sophistication. Local business actors can increase their productivity and welfare. Support from the Indonesian government is urgently needed to build infrastructure to realize trade through digital media in villages and remote areas. Another tough challenge is ensuring the e-commerce business is fully secure to gain the public’s trust.

This research has discussed the role of the government and private sector in the development of halal tourism in Indonesia and Hong Kong. The main issue raised is how these two sectors support and develop halal tourism through various strategies and initiatives. This study aims to identify the strategy implemented, challenges faced and outcomes of the two sectors’ efforts to promote halal tourism. This research uses a comparative case study method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through document analysis, stakeholder interviews, and field observations. The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) theory was used as a theoretical framework to evaluate the roles, responsibilities, and interactions between the public and private sectors in developing halal tourism. The results show that the governments in both regions play an essential role in promoting halal tourism through different policies and regulations. In Indonesia, halal certification is mandatory and regulated by the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH), while in Hong Kong, halal certification is voluntary and conducted by independent agencies. The private sector also contributes significantly by providing Muslim-friendly services and facilities, such as halal-certified food and worship facilities. This study found that collaboration between the government and the private sector is crucial for the successful development of halal tourism. The strict regulatory approach in Indonesia and the voluntary approach in Hong Kong show that policy flexibility can deliver different positive outcomes according to the local cultural and market context. Sustainable halal tourism development requires strong government and private sector collaboration. Continued contributions from both sectors can accelerate the growth of halal tourism in the future. This research also provides practical recommendations to enhance public-private partnerships in halal tourism through effective training, education, and international promotion.
