This study examines the integration of Islamic values within the local wisdom of the Baduy Indigenous community. Its focuses on cultural and religious harmony, utilizing a descriptive-analytical method to explore the socio-cultural and religious dynamics reflected in scientific texts and documents. This research employs a qualitative approach through a systematic review of relevant literature, including scientific journals, books, research reports, academic articles, official documents, and previously published interviews (Mills & Birks, 2017). The primary data consists of literature directly addressing the interaction between Islamic values and Baduy traditions, while secondary sources provide additional context regarding the social, historical, and religious dimensions of the community. The qualitative data analyzed includes narratives, concepts, principles, and interpretations of customary and religious values as practiced by both the Outer and Inner Baduy groups. The thematic analysis was employed following an inductive process, emphasizing textual comprehension alongside a contextual and reflective interpretation of the integration of Islamic principles, while also recognizing the distinctiveness of Baduy customs. Through this methodological framework, the study contributes to the development of a theoretical model for understanding cultural and religious harmony, supported by comprehensive and in-depth literature analysis.

This study aims to explore the perceptions of Muslim Generation Z in Pekalongan regarding the convenience of cashless payments and their impact on consumer behavior within an Islamic economic framework. This qualitative study investigates the nuanced perceptions of 30 purposively sampled Muslim Generation Z individuals in Pekalongan concerning the convenience of cashless payment methods and their influence on their consumer behavior, specifically within the ethical guidelines of Islamic economics. In-depth interviews explored how this digitally native generation navigates modern consumerism while adhering to Islamic financial tenets. Findings indicate a conscious effort among participants to integrate principles like tasarruf (prudent financial management) and avoidance of israf (wasteful spending) into their utilization of cashless platforms. Features such as transaction tracking functionalities and cashback incentives are actively employed as tools for enhanced expenditure control and budget management. The study underscores the potential of cashless technology to facilitate financial practices aligned with Sharia principles, empowering Generation Z Muslims to make more informed, prudent, and ultimately responsible financial decisions in their daily transactions.

This research aims to identify and test the influence of Islamic business ethics and halal certification on purchasing decisions through e-commerce. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The independent variables in this research are Islamic business ethics (X1) and halal certification (X2). Meanwhile, the dependent variable in this research is purchasing decisions (Y). Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a total of 40 respondents who were students of UIN K.H Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. Data processing techniques were carried out using Eviews12. The analysis of this research includes the Classic Assumption Test and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, t test, f test, and R2 test. Based on the results of the variable significance test, it shows that the independent variables, namely Islamic business ethics (X1) and halal certification (X2) have a significant influence on the dependent variable, namely purchasing decisions (Y).

This study explores the implementation of halal management principles in the tourism industry in Indonesia and China as representatives of Muslim majority and minority countries. The main goal is to compare the effectiveness of regulations and infrastructure readiness and identify challenges and opportunities in developing halal tourism destinations. The study uses a qualitative, literature-based approach, analyzing regulatory documents, industry reports, and academic publications. The results of the analysis show that Indonesia adopts a regulation-based model with the support of national halal certification and halal industrial zones. At the same time, China prioritizes a market-based approach in areas with significant Muslim populations. Both countries face obstacles without global halal standards and limited provision of halal services in major destinations. This study highlights the importance of cross-sector collaboration, digital innovation, and policy harmonization to strengthen the competitiveness of global halal destinations. The contribution of this research lies in providing a comparative analysis that enriches the halal management literature and offers practical strategies for developing sustainable halal tourism.

Purpose – This research analyzes the halal management practice model implemented at the Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Pekalongan branch in maintaining compliance with Sharia principles. Method – This research uses a qualitative method with an interpretative approach. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research results were validated by triangulating data sources, methods, and theories. Findings – The results showed that the BSI Pekalongan branch implemented a strict supervisory system to ensure that all transactions and services followed Sharia principles. Transparency in contracts and halal-based fund management are the main factors that build customer trust. Islamic financial education strategies play a role in increasing customer loyalty to bank products and services. Challenges in Islamic financial literacy and technology utilization still hinder the improvement of halal management efficiency. This research provides insight for Islamic banking stakeholders to increase the effectiveness of halal management in building customer trust and loyalty. The BSI Pekalongan branch can improve its competitiveness and ensure full compliance with Sharia principles by strengthening its supervision through transaction transparency and digitalization of halal services. Implications – Theoretically, this research enriches halal management studies by emphasizing Sharia compliance, transparency, and innovation in digital services. Practically, it guides Islamic banks in strengthening governance and customer trust.

This study aims to discuss the chances of developing the concept of prophetic leadership, sharia compliance, and Islamic corporate governance can be linked as very important elements in preventing fraud in Islamic commercial banks. This type of research conducted in this research is qualitative research. The data collection technique used is literature study by collecting information and data with the help of various materials in the library such as documents, books, journals, notes, or by internet searching. The data analysis method using inductive and deductive thinking frameworks. The result of this study is that personal prophetic leadership (Perpec-L), sharia compliance, and Islamic corporate governance are an effort of Islamic banking to prevent fraud (corruption). This can be done by adopting the values â€‹â€‹contained in Perpec-L. Then by assessing the indicators contained in sharia compliance. Furthermore, by taking the existing principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) that are in accordance with Islamic norms and values.

Initially, the modern retail business mainly focused on major cities in Indonesia. However, with technological advancements and economic growth, modern retail has now reached the countryside. In many strategic places, such as Wonokerto Sub-district, for example, several modern retail outlets such as Alfamart and Indomaret have been established. The presence of these ultramodern retailers has had a significant impact on the girding of traditional retailers. Grocery store owners such as Mr. Supri and Mrs. Yatin have experienced a decrease in turnover as many consumers have switched to modern retail. However, it is not all bad news for traditional retailers. Some of them are suitable to survive in the face of decreasingly fierce business competition. This exploration aims to understand the competition between ultramodern and traditional retailers, focusing on a case study of Alfamart and Indomaret against girding small shops in Wonokerto District, Pekalongan Regency. The research used a field method, which involved interviews with four grocery store owners, the store heads of Alfamart and Indomaret, as well as documentation collection. The data collected was analysed qualitatively with an inductive approach, where specific facts are drawn to make generalizations. From the exploration results, it's concluded that the actuality of Alfamart and Indomaret in Wonokerto Subdistrict has an impact on the development of small shops in the vicinity. However, competition between minimarkets and small shops takes place in accordance with applicable regulations, without violation of the law or the president's rules. The process of establishing minimarkets in Wonokerto Subdistrict has also complied with established procedures.

Sharenting is a practice where parents share their children's life moments on social media. The study focused on @abe_daily's TikTok account, which features videos of a child's daily life and has sparked debate about children's privacy and potential exploitation. The main issue in this study is how the public views the content, whether it is as family entertainment or a form of child exploitation. This study aims to understand the public's perception of sharenting in @abe_daily accounts and its impact on children's privacy. This study uses a mixed methods approach, with in-depth interviews with ten informants and a survey of 13 respondents familiar with the account. Qualitative analysis was done through thematic, while quantitative data was collected through Likert scale questionnaires. The results showed that most respondents viewed content as positive entertainment, but there were concerns about child exploitation and privacy. While monetization of children's content is considered acceptable as long as children's well-being is maintained, there is an urgent need for stricter regulations regarding children's privacy on social media. This study recommends increased digital education for parents and clearer policies to protect children's rights in sharenting.

This research aims to comprehensively investigate the preparation for implementing mandatory halal regulations for food and beverage products in Indonesia. This research also examines the role of international law in promoting the balance of the Islamic global economy in member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. This research employs a normative legal research method, utilizing a statutory approach. The primary legal materials used include the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 23 of 1992, Law No. 7 of 1996, Law No. 6 of 1967, Law No. 8 of 1999, Law No. 33 of 2014, Government Regulation No. 31 of 2019, and Law No. 39 of 2021. Data collection techniques used literature studies, and data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that the regulation of mandatory halal certification for food and beverage products in Indonesia is regulated in Law Number 33 of 2014, Government Regulation Number 31 of 2019, and Law Number 39 of 2021. Preparation for the implementation of this mandatory halal regulation is a legal requirement to ensure peace and comfort for the public when consuming or using halal products. This study also found that, when implemented appropriately, international legal policies can foster Islamic economic growth in OIC countries. Some countries, such as Malaysia and Turkey, have successfully adopted and enforced international law, thereby improving banking stability and attracting foreign investment. This study concludes that Law No. 33/2014 guarantees the availability of halal products, and the government is obligated to foster and supervise the guarantee of halal products. On October 17, 2024, the first phase of halal obligation for food products, beverages, slaughter services, and slaughter products will be enforced throughout Indonesia. Therefore, support from the public and businesses in Indonesia is needed to increase public awareness of the importance of halal certificates. Furthermore, while there are challenges in harmonizing domestic policies with international standards, international law offers immense opportunities. With an inclusive and collaborative approach, OIC countries can capitalize on these opportunities to achieve a sustainable and inclusive Islamic economic equilibrium. Support from international and regional organizations is crucial in strengthening the capacity of OIC countries to implement international law effectively.

Although the growth of the Islamic capital market is quite rapid, the level of participation of Generation Z in investing in the Islamic capital market is still relatively low. Factors that are often mentioned as the cause of low interest in investing in the Islamic Capital Market are the level of Sharia Financial Literacy and Religiosity. This study aims to analyse the effect of Sharia Financial Literacy and Religiosity on Gen Z's Investment Interest in the Islamic Capital Market. This research uses quantitative methods, data collected through online surveys using questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents of Gen Z Pekalongan Regency who have an interest in investing in the Islamic Capital Market, data analysis techniques using Multiple Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS 26.0 software. The results of the analysis show that Sharia Financial Literacy and Religiosity have a positive and significant effect on Interest in Investing in the Sharia Capital Market both partially and simultaneously.
