Adolescents are a group that is vulnerable to emotional dysfunction due to academic, social, and family pressures. Group counseling based on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) is a potential approach to help adolescents manage negative emotions. This study aims to analyze various literature related to the effectiveness of REBT group counseling in dealing with emotional dysfunction in adolescents. Based on literature studies from various journals and books, REBT group counseling has been proven effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and irrational behavior in adolescents. The implications of these findings are important for education practitioners and school counselors.

Multicultural education continues to develop around the world, including Indonesia. This study describes multikultural education from various perspectives, including an overview of multicultural education publications; trends; countries; researchers; and future hotspots for multicultural education, both internationally and in Indonesia. This study is a qualitative research using bibliometric analysis following the framework developed by (Garza-Reyes), with the data for this document analysis sourced from Scopus using three search criteria. The findings reveal that interest in this topic is increasing, particularly with the significant number of studies published in 2024, reaching a peak of 196 publications. Many countries and authors have contributed to research on multicultural issues. Therefore, the challenges and opportunities in multicultural education require a holistic approach, involving collaboration between parents, teachers, and educational policies to create a fair and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Students from economically disadvantaged families often face challenges related to low psychological well-being, which can negatively impact their emotional welfare and social functioning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of group counseling based on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in enhancing the psychological well-being of students from underprivileged families. The research adopts a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consists of 20 students with low psychological well-being, divided into an experimental group (10 students) and a control group (10 students). Data were collected using data collection methods in the form of questionnaires with instruments in the form of questionnaire sheets.The sampling technique applied was purposive random sampling, and data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings reveal that group counseling with the REBT approach effectively improves students' psychological well-being. This effectiveness is evidenced by a significantly greater increase in psychological well-being scores in the experimental group compared to the control group. This study concludes that group counseling based on the REBT approach is an effective intervention strategy to enhance the psychological well-being of students from economically disadvantaged families.

School-age children during their developmental stage should maintain their health status through immunization. For children, receiving vaccinations is one of the terrifying experiences in life since needles are used to administer the shots. Needle fear during immunization often occurs in children because children feel that needles will give unbearable pain, hurt, and give harmful side effects. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of individual counselling services with cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) in reducing elementary school students' needle fear. Using a single subject research design, with purposive sampling method, this research assesses the effectiveness of CBT individual counselling on 3 students. The results of this study obtained the level of needle fear on elementary school students n = 3 at a very high level (mean = 82.85%) after being given CBT individual counselling the needle fear level were decreasing very low level (mean 7.14%). CBT individual counselling has benefited in various types of mental health problems. CBT Individual counselling encourage new thoughts, feelings and behaviors for children with needle fear. It is important for primary school students to be given individual counselling cognitive behavior therapy in order to prepare students to the immunization syringe and to improve negative perceptions through counselling so that immunization outcomes in primary school students can be achieved optimally.

Professionalism is the standard of specific abilities and skills required to describe a person's qualifications in carrying out their profession. The professional competence of counselors in Non-Formal Education in providing guidance and counseling services in non-formal training institutions and study groups. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data collection method used is through a questionnaire instrument on REBT counseling proficiency for school counselors obtained via Google Form to measure the competencies possessed by Non-Formal Education State counselors related to knowledge, skills in conducting REBT counseling, and skills in creating REBT modules. The research results show that the mastery of REBT counseling by non-formal education counselors falls into the high category due to the training provided. However, it is hoped that there will be follow-up actions from this training or workshop because not 100% of non-formal education counselors possess adequate skills in conducting REBT counseling. Konseling kelompok adalah metode intervensi yang sangat efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan psikologis, emosional, dan sosial seseorang. Dengan berinteraksi dalam kelompok, anggota memiliki kesempatan untuk membahas berbagai permasalahan, mengembangkan keterampilan sosial, serta mendapatkan dukungan dari sesama anggota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fenomena transferensi dan kontra-transferensi dalam konseling kelompok serta dampaknya terhadap dinamika kelompok dan efektivitas terapi. Transferensi merujuk pada proyeksi perasaan dan pengalaman masa lalu anggota kelompok terhadap konselor atau anggota kelompok lain, sedangkan kontra-transferensi adalah respons emosional konselor terhadap anggota kelompok yang dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pribadi konselor. Berdasarkan kajian literatur, transferensi dan kontra-transferensi dapat mempengaruhi kualitas interaksi dan hasil terapi kelompok. Pengelolaan yang efektif terhadap kedua fenomena ini sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan psikologis anggota kelompok. Strategi yang diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini termasuk kesadaran diri, fasilitasi diskusi terbuka, dan penggunaan pendekatan integratif untuk memaksimalkan manfaat dari transferensi dan kontra-transferensi dalam proses konseling kelompok.

This research is influenced by a phenomenon that has occurred at State of Junior High School 27 Padang, namely low student interpersonal communication. Self-concept is one of the factors that influence students' interpersonal communication. This study aims to analyse the relationship between self-concept and interpersonal communication, the research method used is quantitative. This type of research is descriptive correlative. The population in this study was 364 student and the sample of this study was 190 student. The research instrument was a questionnaire raised with Likert scale measurement, the data analysed with descriptive correlation statistics with the help of SPSS version 25.00. The results show that students' self-concept is in the high category, which means that students already have a good self-image of themselves. Interpersonal communication is in the high category, indicating that students already have the ability to communicate effectively with others. There is a positive and significant increase between students' self-concept and interpersonal communication. This means that high and low interpersonal communication can be explained from self-concept, then interpersonal communication will be higher. The results of research data analysis obtained R = 0.213 with the degree of p = 0.003 (p < 0.005), R2 = 0.18.3%. This study proves that there is a positive and significant increase in self-concept and interpersonal communication of junior high school student. This training on the development and implementation of STEAM-based deep learning was designed to enhance the capacity of elementary school teachers in preparing for the interdisciplinary-focused National Curriculum. The program was motivated by teachers’ limited understanding of deep learning and their difficulty in integrating STEAM elements into lesson planning. The methods included training, lesson plan workshops, teaching simulations, technology diffusion, and classroom mentoring. Results showed a significant increase in conceptual understanding, technical skills, and teacher creativity in designing and implementing project-based and collaborative learning. The resulting integrative lesson plans and creative teaching media served as indicators of the program’s success. These outcomes highlight the importance of localized teacher professional development programs to accelerate readiness for implementing STEAM-oriented curricula in primary education settings.

Quarter life crisis merupakan periode kehidupan yang dialami pada usia 20 hingga 30 tahun yang ditandai dengan adanya kesulitan, emosi negatif, stress dan umumnya dialami oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan quarter life crisis dan mengetahui perbedaan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir magister laki-laki dan perempuan di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya deskriptif komparatif. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 143 orang dengan 43 orang laki-laki dan 100 orang perempuan mahasiswa tingkat akhir magister Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling dan data analisis menggunakan teknik t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa quarter life crisis mahasiswa tingkat akhir magister secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori sedang (50,35%). Pada hasil uji t-test terdapatnya perbedaan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir magister laki-laki dan perempuan dengan tarif signifikan p=0,000 dimana lebih kecil dari 0,05, dilihat dari distribusi frekuensi antara laki-laki dengan kategori rendah (93,02%) dan perempuan dengan kategori sedang (59,00%).

Penerimaan diri penting bagi remaja karena berperan penting dalam pembentukan identitas dan kestabilan emosi. Remaja yang mampu menerima diri cenderung lebih percaya diri, mampu mengelola emosi dan menjalin hubungan sosial yang sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan penerimaan diri siswa berdasarkan teori Bernard. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel 285 siswa melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket skala likert berdasarkan teori Bernard yang mencakup dua aspek: kesadaran diri untuk menghargai sikap positif dan menanggapi kejadian negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerimaan diri siswa SMAN 1 Ampek Angkek secara umum berada dalam kategori baik (71,58%), (2) aspek menghargai sikap positif juga tergolong baik (66,67%), (3) aspek menanggapi kejadian negatif berada dalam kategori baik (63,86%). Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi acuan bagi guru, konselor, dan orang tua dalam mendukung remaja mengembangkan penerimaan diri melalui pendekatan edukatif dan psikologis yang sesuai.
