Painting is a language expression that is expressed by artists through symbols or visual signs. Painting does not only reveal beauty, but also the role of symbolic language that will be realized by artists. The role of symbolic language in paintings is very influential to imply meaning, both denotation and connotation. Painting in general certainly aims to convey an unlimited message, it can be a social criticism, a historical record, and can also be present as an appeal. The message conveyed depends on what he wants to convey. So the focus of this study, how the role of painting as a visual language is realized through the symbols in the painting. This study uses the literature study method which is reviewed from some previous literature which is used as a sample or reference. The formation of visual language began in cave wall paintings, pictographs, and contemporary paintings such as the Djoko Pekik trilogy. Every painting shows that humans are able to express something through pictures or paintings.Keywords: Painting, Visual Language, Djoko Pekik Celeng Trilogy.

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dan sebagian besar wilayahnya berupa lautan. Karena adanya pemanasan global, maka terdapat kemungkinan terjadinya kenaikan permukaan air laut. Kenaikan permukaan air laut akan menyebabkan dampak terhadap wilayah pesisir. Dampak tersebut seperti terjadinya bencana banjir. Bencana banjir dapat menyebabkan me rebaknya penyakit, terjadinya kerusakan sarana dan prasarana dan sebagainya. Semua itu dapat menyebabkan turunnya kualitas kehidupan maniusia. Bahan penelitian ini berupa data pasang surut untuk kawasan Surabaya. memantau Peralatan yang diperlukan untuk penelitian ini ialah komputer beserta perangkat lunaknya. Dengan menggunakan data dan peralatan itu, maka dilakukan analisis terhadap permukaan air taut di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa permukaan air laut di kawasan Surabaya tidaklah naik secara berarti. Kondisi permukaan air laut tersebut relatif konstan. Walaupun permukaan air laut tersebut tetap, akan tetapi dapat terjadi banjir di wilayah pesisir jika katakanlah permukaan tanah disitu cenderung turun.

The objectives of this research are to develop Bolokuncoro interactive learning multimedia for language literacy of children aged 5-6 years old at the Pembina Public Kindergarten Jebres Solo, and to find out the effectiveness of interactive learning Bolokuncoro multimedia for language literacy for children aged 5-6 years at the Pembina Public Kindergarten Jebres Solo. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) model with ADDIE employing experimental and control classes as sample design. Bolokuncoro interactive learning multimedia integrates the local wisdom of Solo into the learning theme and is added with educational games. The results of this study are the production of interactive learning learning Bolokuncoro multimedia, interactive learning interactive learning Bolokuncoro is effective for language literacy of children aged 5-6 years old in the Pembina Public Kindergarten Jebres Solo with the results of the n-gain of the experimental class score is 0.84 which belongs to the high category and the n-gain of the control class is 0.51 which belongs to medium category.

The Effectiveness of Animation Film Media to Know Ability Mathematical Concept of Early Childhood Based on Gender Handayani, Sri; Haryono, Haryono; Ahmadi, Farid

The background of the research is how to low ability to recognize mathematical concepts of early childhood. The low ability is due to the use of instructional media which is less enjoyable for children when playing and learning in class. Gender of boys and girls may have different orientations in playing and in recognizing mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the influence of the use of animated films and animation on the ability to recognize mathematical concepts, analyze the differences in the influence of gender on the ability to recognize mathematical concepts, and analyze the interaction between animated films and gender in their effects on the ability to recognize mathematical concepts early childhood. This research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using Factorial (2x2). A population of 151 children with a purposive sampling technique obtained a sample of 105 kindergarten B children in the Dahlia PAUD cluster in BatanganÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Kecamatan. The collecting of data in this study from the results of observations and tests and analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed, there were differences in the influence of the use of animated films and animation, F = 17.546 in sig. 0.001, there is a difference in the influence of gender, F = 5.399 with sig. 0.022 and there is no interaction between animated films with gender differences in the ability to recognize mathematical concepts in early childhood, F = 0.130 with sig. 0.719. This research can be used as an alternative in choosing fun learning media to introduce mathematical concepts in early childhood.

This study aims to described the symbolic violence done by Otani and its mechanism on Dazai Osamu?s short story, Viyon No Tsuma. Close reading and note taking method was conducted to collect the data. Collected data such as  form of words, sentences, sentence fragments, paragraph, and paragraph fragments, were grouped in a table form and analyzed using analytic descriptive method. Data analysis results showed that (1) Otani?s habits are calm, even when he was drunk, and dress neatly. However, by the time flies, Otani changes to be rude and irresponsible man; (2) the fields existed in the short story are economic field and social field; (3) the highest capital is owned by Otani, it is a symbolic capital in the form of the nobility of Otani?s family; (4) All of symbolic violences are done by mechanism of eufemisation.

Assassement instruments of speaking skills used by teacher, not yet to able to describe students speaking skills. The teacher was also found to have no assessement rubrics. This developmental research aimed to produce teacher?s handbook in the form of valid, reliable, effective, and practical android based-student speaking skill assessment on learning Indonesian language at primary school. This research referred to Borg & Gall with 10 stages of development. However, this research only used until the ninth step. The findings showed that (1) based on expert judgment, the instrument was worthy to test with some revision, (2) empirical reliability of those four instruments both in small and large test scales was reliable, (3) the instrument construct validity was analyzed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), all of the constructs were valid, (4) the developed product an android based student speaking skill instrument development was valid, reliable, and practical. The judgment based on the homeclass teacher showed that the product was practice to assess student speaking skill.

The aim of the study was to describe the development of multicultural-based inclusion learning in TK Talenta Semarang. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The findings in this study are that first, multicultural-based inclusion learning is more emphasized in the implementation and evaluation of learning, second, multicultural values grow in students through activities in religious centers that emphasize social piety respecting differences, third: differences in institutions inclusive education is a miniature of diversity in ethnicity, race and religion.AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan pembelajaran inklusi berbasis multikultural di TK Talenta Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa pertama, pembelajaran inklusi berbasis multi kultural lebih ditekankan pada pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran, kedua, Nilai-nilai multikultural tumbuh dalam pribadi siswa melalui kegiatan di sentra agama yang menekankan kesalehan sosial menghormati perbedaan, ketiga : perbedaan yang ada di lembaga pendidikan inklusi merupakan miniatur dari keragaman suku, ras dan agama.Â

Abstrak: This research is motivated to explain the people's perceptions of the implementation of the mitoni tradition and the meaning contained in the implementation of this mitoni tradition in Kampung Bungaraya. The formulation of the problem of this research is "What is the public perception of the implementation of the mitoni tradition in Bungaraya Village, Bungaraya District, Siak Regency". The purpose of this study was to determine how people's perceptions of the implementation of the mitoni tradition in Bungaraya Village, Bungaraya District, Siak Regency. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. There are 6 informants in this study, namely Dukun Bayi (1 person), Community Leaders (1 person), Mr RT (1 person), Communities who carry out the tradition of mitoni (2 people), and Society who participate in the mitoni tradition (1 person) in the village of Bungaraya. Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative methods. The results in this study prove that the community's perception of the implementation of the mitoni tradition is still very good, it is evident that the people in Kampung Bungaraya still carry out the mitoni tradition and still maintain the sacred values that exist in the mitoni tradition. The community has the perception that the implementation of the tradition of mitoni as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT who has given a baby and to ask for prayer from Allah SWT so that pregnant women can give birth safely and babies born safely without any deficiencies.Key Words: Community Perception, Mitoni Tradition

Abstract: This research is motivated by the beliefs of the ancestors of Rumbai Jaya Village people who are hereditary that is still believing in the existence of bad dates and full of bad luck (disadvantaged), namely dating in the month of Suro so that many people avoid the month of Suro when they will implement the month of Suro major events including weddings. This research formulated the problem in "What is the Community's Perception of the Suto Month and the Prohibition of Marriage in Suro Month in Javanese Customs in Rumbai Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency". The purpose of this study was to determine "Community Perception of Suro Month and Marriage Prohibition in Suro Month in Javanese Customs in Rumbai Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency". The method in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Determination of the research sample through a sampling area (Sampling area), namely sampling by region, 30 people consisting of 5 informants, namely elders/village elders and 25 respondents, namely predetermined communities. The results of this study are: First, people's perceptions about the month of Suro is a sacred month because in this month many people do tirakat or some kind of ritual for various purposes, suro month is the new year for the Javanese tribe which coincides with the month of Muharram. secondly, people's perception of marriage in the month of suro is that marriage in the month of Suro is prohibited and may not be carried out, so the conclusion is that the community still adheres to ancient traditions and beliefs about the prohibition of marriage in the month of Suro.Keywords: Community Perception, Prohibition of Marriage Suro Month

Abstract: The role of the school committee is the advisor (advisory) in determining and implementing educational policies in the education unit, supporting both in the form of financial, thought, and personnel in the administration of education in the education unit, controlling in the framework of transparency and accountability in the implementation and education output in the education unit, and mediator between the government (executive) and the community in the education unit. This study aims as follows: to find out Community Perceptions of the Role of School Committees at SMPN 1 Tandun, Rokan Hulu Regency. The subjects of this study were all 900 parents/guardians of SMPN 1 Tandun, Rokan Hulu Regency.The sample in this study was taken based on the snowball sampling technique with 10% of subjects from 900 parents/guardians. Data collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing data using quantitative descriptive techniques.The results showed that school committee members were very instrumental in carrying out the role of school committees in SMPN 1 Tandun Rokan Hulu Regency, this was evidenced by the results of the calculation of respondents who answered "Very Often" plus "Frequent" by 91.2%, in the range of 75.01% -100% then the range is included in the range of "Very Good", so the hypothesis testing was rejected.KeyWords: Perception, The Role Of The School Committe
