Abstract

Background: Increased of high protein and β-carotene food consumption is expected may prevent PEM and VAD. Tempeh is a high-protein food stuff, while orange-fleshed sweet potato had high β-carotene content. Sweet bread with substitution of tempeh and orange-fleshed sweet potato flours is expected could be an alternative food which had high protein and β-carotene content. Objective: Analyze the effect of tempeh and orange-fleshed sweet potato flour substitution on protein and β-carotene content, and organoleptic quality of sweet bread. Method: An one factor completely randomized experimental study used 5 level of tempeh and orange-fleshed sweet potato flour substitution, which were 0%:0%, 0%:25%, 10%:15%, 15%:10%, and 25%:0%. Statistical analysis of protein and β-carotene content used One Way ANOVA followed by Tukey and Duncan test, while analysis of organoleptic quality used Friedman and Wilcoxon test. Result: Sweet bread with 25% tempeh flour substitution had the highest protein content (14.38%) and 25% orange-fleshed sweet potato flour substitution had the highest β-carotene content (0.24 mg/100 g). Substitution of 25% orange-fleshed sweet potato flour and substitution of 10% tempeh -15% orange-fleshed sweet potato flour had significant effect on β-carotene content. Tempeh and orange-fleshed sweet potato flour substitution also had significant effect on color, aroma, texture, and taste of sweet bread, but had no but had no significant effect on its protein content. Conclusion: Tempeh flour substitution increased protein content in sweet bread and orange-fleshed sweet potato flour increased its β-carotene content. Sweet bread with 10% tempeh-15% orange-fleshed sweet potato flour substitution were recommended.

Abstract

Computer-Based Test (CBT) merupakan solusi untuk sistem evaluasi tes bakat dalam dunia pendidikan yang mebutuhan efektifitas dan efisiensi. Berbagai pendekatan pengembangan sistem dilakukan untuk menghasilkan software yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengembangkan software tes bakat menggunakann sistem Computer-Based Test (CBT); dan (2) Melakukan analisis software yang dikembangkan berdasarkan Software Product Quality ISO/IEC 25010. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Jepara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Keberhasilan software tes bakat yang dikembangkan dengan model sistem Computer-Based Test (CBT) menggunakan framework Laravel 5.2 dan diterapkan menggunakan open mode. (2) Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa software yang dikembangkan sudah sesuai dengan Software Product Quality ISO/IEC 25010 dilihat dari aspek: (a) Functional suitability yang berjalan 100% dengan nilai X=1; (b) Performance efficiency dengan kecepatan loading sebesar 3,3 detik dengan PageSpeed 98% (Grade A) dan YSlow 83% (Grade B); (c) Usability dengan presentase rata-rata 82,46%; (d) Reliability dengan code coverage 67,86%; (e) Security pada level 1 (low); (f) Maintainability dengan code duplication 0,21%; dan (g) Portability yang mampu berjalan tanpa error dari berbagai web browser desktop maupun mobile.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBerdasarkan fungsi otak, keberhasilan anak dapat dikaitkan dengan kecerdasannya. Kecerdasan adalah kapasitas/ kemampuan seseorang untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan membuat cara pemecahannya. Kecerdasan gambar dan ruang (visual spasial) kemampuan anak untuk memahami, memproses dan berpikir dalam bentuk visual dan mencitrakan dalam bentuk dua atau tiga dimensi. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan visual spasial dengan permainan puzzle. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran permainan puzzle cross road map dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan visual spasial anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif untuk menghasilkan sebuah analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa permainan puzzle cross road map dapat meningkatkan dan mempertajam kecerdasan visual spasial anak. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan visual spasial, puzzle cross road map   ABSTRACTBased on brain function, children's success can be related to their intelligence. Intelligence is the capacity / ability of a person to solve problems and make solutions to them. Image and spatial intelligence (visual spatial) children's ability to understand, process and think in visual form and image in two or three dimensions. One way to improve spatial visual intelligence with puzzle games. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of cross road map puzzle games in improving early childhood visual spatial intelligence. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative to produce an analysis. Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of history lessons to nationalism attitude in the students of grade 11 in Madania High School, Bogor. Besides, it is also to find patterns of character education development in the ideal of learning history, and the last is to find the obstacles faced by the teachers in building the character of Nationalism through learning history. The research was conducted using qualitative methods through in-depth interviews and questionnaires for the students of grade 11 and the history teacher at Madania High School, Parung, Bogor. The Nationalism Attitude is an attitude that shows the balance of love of the people in a country and the harmony of culture and territory contained in a nation to create and will defend the country both internally and externally. The subjects of this research were the history teacher and the students of grade 11 at Madania High School each from The department of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences and the research was conducted during January 2020 through March 2020 school year. The methods used in this research was a qualitative method and using a case study approach. Based on the results of observations and in-depth interviews with the history teacher and the students in grade 11 at Madania High School, it can be concluded by the researcher, the most prominent aspects of Nationalism are attitudes of love the motherland, honesty, responsibility, leadership, cooperation, and tolerance. Also, the 11th-grade students at Madania High School stated that the history teacher performance had been very good and had succeeded in instilling a nationalism attitude through history lessons. Besides, students also suggest for the future history teacher to make history lessons more interesting by adding role-playing lessons when studying a subject in a history book and to add state defending material in history lessons.Keyword: Development, History lessons, Nationalism Attitude

Abstract

Human rights abuses are the center of every country in the world, as they are the result of their dominance over the weak, or other things like ignorance, lack of law enforcement, etc. And so it is in the world of education, which ought to be a center of understanding and awareness of human rights, through history study. But rather often, human rights abuses come from academic environments such as schools and colleges. The study aims to analyze the implementation of human rights values in history study. The study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, whereas the data-collecting technique is a document or documentary study instrument. These findings suggest that the study of history has affected the behavior of students that reflect the virtues of human consciousness. Human rights values such as equality and the ban of discrimination (nondiscrimination) are reflected in students after the historical learning process is done, it can be seen both inside and outside the equation. Thus history study alone has significant effects on students, such as mutual respect of opinion, upholding the values of tolerance, cooperation and so forth. The conclusion of the article is that the effectiveness of learning needs to be optimized so that the human rights reflected in every historical event are capable of being thoroughly analyzed and understood by learners, which are then a provision for students to live national and national.

Abstract

Curriculum changes and developments occur along with the development of educational theory and technological developments. These changes aim to improve the quality of education of Indonesia's human resources. The 2013 curriculum emphasizes the learning process using a scientific approach. The purpose of this study was to analyze the scientific approach in the 2013 curriculum in the implementation of history learning. The type of research used was a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Babat Toman Musi Banyuasin. In this study, data were collected using  observation, interviews, and document study method. Descriptive data analysis was used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of history learning in 2013 curriculum that uses a scientific approach through the Student-Centered Learning model and authentic assessment with 5 M (observing, asking questions, collecting data, associating, communicating) maximize learning by following the 2013 curriculum development. This study as a reference material to maximize other subject in accordance with 2013 curriculum development.

Abstract

Abstract Pleural effusion is a tern used for fluid accumulation in the pleural cavity. In the normal pleural cavity there is serous fluid with a average amount of 0,1 ml/kg/day (which is in the state of homeostatis there are 5-15 ml of fluid in the pleural movements. The stability of the amount of pleural fluid is regulated though a balance mechanism between transudation of pleura; capillaries and reabsorption by visceral and pariental veins, and lymph nodes. This reserch method of scientific writing is a case study with four patients. This case study literatur a nursing process stage approach that experiences pleural effusion with an ineffective breathing pattern. This conducting nursing literatur study on pleural effusion clients is found diagnosis of an ineffective breath pattern. All clients are resolved, unles one of the client’s Tn. S (46 year) is not resolved due to the attack disease. The achievement of the healing of disease is necessary to evaluate continuously and directed by the record of development, also required knowledge of the regular therapeutic program and management of nursing care with a cooperation between nurses, clients, and other health teams. Keywords: Nursing care, pleural effusion, case study.

Abstract

Abstract Thalassemia is a disease of chronic that occur in children. Thalassemia is a disease abnormality of blood which is caused by disruption of production hemoglobin the body is reduced . The purpose of the literature study was to determine the nursing process in 4 respondents with thalassemia. The research design uses a literature study with case studies of nursing care in thalassemia patients in Seruni RSUD Jombang in the period 2014-2019. The results    of    the    study    literature     shows     that     problem     of     priority     patients     with thalassemia is perfused peripheral     not effective with a     decrease     in     concentration of hemoglobin. Literature study shows the results of the similarity of the causative factors in 4 respondents who experienced changes in tissue perfusion decreased hemoglobin concentration resulting in decreased O2 binding by erythrocytes so that blood flow to the peripheral tissues decreases and ineffective peripheral perfusion occurs which is characterized by patients feeling weak, conjunctival pallor , CRT> 2 seconds . Peripheral perfusion is not effective as a priority diagnosis because thalassemia patients experience abnormal red blood cell formation, in which blood cells rupture or lysis before 100 days, causing severe anemia that causes decreased  oxygen transport in cells. Keyword : Childcare Nursing, Thalassemia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah menghidupkan kembali Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) yaitu Bank Sampah dan juga menjadikan sampah sebagai benda yang mempunyai nilai tambah. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut yaitu dengan memberikan sosialisasi dan juga pelatihan kepada warga di Dusun Bebengan Kelurahan Sriwedari Kecamatan Salaman Kabupaten Magelang. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi persiapan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, pembentukan paguyuban, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai selain adanya tambahan wawasan bagi masyarakat akan pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan, juga keberhasilan masyarakat dalam menjadikan sampah dari barang yang tidak ada nilainya menjadi benda yang bernilai jual.

Abstract

Computer-Based Test (CBT) merupakan solusi untuk sistem evaluasi tes bakat dalam dunia pendidikan yang mebutuhan efektifitas dan efisiensi. Berbagai pendekatan pengembangan sistem dilakukan untuk menghasilkan software yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengembangkan software tes bakat menggunakann sistem Computer-Based Test (CBT); dan (2) Melakukan analisis software yang dikembangkan berdasarkan Software Product Quality ISO/IEC 25010. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Jepara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Keberhasilan software tes bakat yang dikembangkan dengan model sistem Computer-Based Test (CBT) menggunakan framework Laravel 5.2 dan diterapkan menggunakan open mode. (2) Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa software yang dikembangkan sudah sesuai dengan Software Product Quality ISO/IEC 25010 dilihat dari aspek: (a) Functional suitability yang berjalan 100% dengan nilai X=1; (b) Performance efficiency dengan kecepatan loading sebesar 3,3 detik dengan PageSpeed 98% (Grade A) dan YSlow 83% (Grade B); (c) Usability dengan presentase rata-rata 82,46%; (d) Reliability dengan code coverage 67,86%; (e) Security pada level 1 (low); (f) Maintainability dengan code duplication 0,21%; dan (g) Portability yang mampu berjalan tanpa error dari berbagai web browser desktop maupun mobile.
