Abstract

This Community Service activity (PKM) aims to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of da'wah through digital media for the Executive Wives Association. In the digital era, the use of information technology is very relevant to spread Islamic values widely. This activity includes the development of a website and da'wah application, which includes training on how to manage da'wah content effectively. The methods used include presentations, discussions, and hands-on practice. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge of digital da'wah media and the effectiveness of da'wah communication within the association. This activity is expected to contribute to the sustainability of da'wah in modern society. Key Words: community service, digital da'wah, da'wah media, information technology, community empowerment .

Abstract

This innovative study addresses critical flood prediction needs in Bor County, South Sudan, utilizing machine learning to develop an intelligent forecasting model. The research integrates diverse analytical techniques, including land use analysis and rainfall calculations, with a decade of weather data to understand complex hydrological dynamics. This research employs machine learning classifiers such as Support Vector Machines, Decision Trees, and Neural Networks. Findings reveal promising results, with the Linear SVM classifier achieving 87.5% prediction accuracy for raw data and 100% accuracy for high-velocity flooding events. The Naive Bayes classifier matched this performance, while Artificial Neural Networks showed a slight advantage in runoff estimation. The study's novelty lies in its holistic approach, combining machine learning with advanced visualization tools and geographic information systems. This creates a dynamic, real-time forecasting system bridging sophisticated analysis and practical flood management strategies. Focusing on model interpretability and multi-scale forecasting enhances its value to policymakers and disaster management authorities. This research significantly advances the application of AI to flood prediction and disaster management in offering future studies on humanitarian challenges. Abstract

First Person Shooter (FPS) gamers usually use mice intensively, which may lead to musculoskeletal disorders. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of the three most popular gaming mice designs on arm muscle activity and subjective perception to find the most optimum design. Subjects who participated in this study were ten healthy young adult males (age 18-24 years) selected from FPS gamers. The mice were tested when the subjects played the FPS Valorant game. The activity of forearm muscles, namely flexor carpi radialis (FCR) and palmaris longus (PL), was measured using electromyography (EMG). One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the muscular activities when using the three mice. This study also measured the subjective perception of the participants. The study reveals that the high activation of muscles confirms the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). However, the difference in muscular activities between the three mice was found to be insignificant. On the other hand, the qualitative analysis suggests that the third mouse showed the evenest distribution of muscular activity both at low cycle and high cycle performance. Further study using psychophysiological methods is necessary to measure subjective preferences.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDewasa ini teknologi energi terbarukan biasanya menggunakan mesin listrik sinkron Alternating Current (AC) pada pembangkit listrik tenaga angin. Generator listrik sinkron AC menggunakan brush pada proses eksitasi yang membutuhkan perawatan berkala sehingga rumit jika diaplikasikan pada Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin. Pada penelitian ini generator akan menggunakan mesin Switched Reluctance yang dioperasikan sebagai Switched Reluctance Generator (SRG). Untuk menghasilkan keluaran arus yang optimal, SRG akan dioperasikan dengan mengatur sudut penyalaan fasa menggunakan metode single pulse. Metode pensakelaran ini diatur oleh input capture fasilitas mikrokontrol dsPIC 30F4012. Penelitian ini telah diverifikasi dengan simulasi Simulink MATLAB dan pengujian alat. Hasil pengujian optimal dibuktikan pada sudut penyalaan θon = 40 derajat dan θoff = 170 derajat menghasilkan arus discharging sebesar 7.6 A dengan kecepatan 1647.1 RPM ditandai dengan bentuk gelombang arus yang ideal. Hasil arus discharging yang optimal dapat meningkatkan kinerja SRG, sehingga metode ini dapat diaplikasikan pada pembangkit listrik tenaga angin.Kata kunci: SRG, dsPIC30F4012, sudut penyalaan, single pulse ABSTRACTNowadays, renewable energy technology usually uses AC synchronous electric machines in wind power. AC synchronous generator uses a brush in the excitation process, which requires periodic maintenance so it is complicated if applied to wind power. In this research, the generator will use a Switched Reluctance machine that operated as a SRG. To produce an optimal current, the SRG will be operated by adjusting the ignition angle using the single pulse method. This method is controlled by input capture of the microcontroller dsPIC 30F4012. This research has been verified by simulating Simulink MATLAB and testing device. The optimal test results are proven at the ignition angle θon = 40 degree and θoff = 170 degree produces a discharging current of 7.6 A with a speed of 1647.1 RPM characterized by the ideal current waveform. The optimal discharging current results can improve the performance of the SRG, so this method can be applied to wind power.Keywords: SRG, dsPIC30F4012, the ignition angle, single pulse

Abstract

ABSTRAKMesin Brushless Dircet Current (BLDC) digunakan pada kendaraan listrik karena memiliki torsi yang besar dan memungkinkan untuk pengereman regeneratif. Pengereman regeneratif dirancang agar kendaraan listrik memiliki jarak tempuh yang lebih panjang. Pada saat pengereman, konverter bidirectional dioperasikan menjadi boost rectifier agar energi dapat berpindah ke baterai. Boost rectifier memiliki gain yang rendah, sehingga pengiriman daya ke baterai kurang optimal. Pada penelitian ini ditambahkan chopper kedua yang memiliki gain tinggi agar pengiriman daya lebih optimal. Metode modulasi lebar pulsa yang dibangkitkan mikrokontrol dsPIC30f4012 digunakan untuk mengendalikan saklar (IRFP 460) pada konverter. Verifikasi menggunakan perangkat keras telah dilakukan untuk mendukung penelitian ini. Hasil percobaan pada duty cycle 0,8 dapat dihasilkan arus pada baterai sebesar 0,25 A dan kecepatan berkurang menjadi 663 rpm.Kata kunci: BLDC, Pengereman regeneratif, Boost rectifier, chopper, dsPIC30f4012 ABSTRACTBrushless direct current (BLDC) machine is suitable to be implemented in electric vehicle since it can provide high torque and is capable to do regenerative braking. For electric vehicle applications, the regenerative braking is needed to make such vehicle can travel longer distance. For making the machine current can flow into the battery, the bidirectional converter will be operated as a boost rectifier. The boost rectifier produced a low gain so that the second chopper with a high gain is required. The pulse width modulation (PWM) method was used to control each switch (IRFP 460) using a dsPIC30F4012 microcontroller. A verification with experimental work was done. Based on the result, with 0.8 duty cycle can produced a 0.2 A battery current also and speed reduced to 663 rpm.Keywords: BLDC, Regenerative braking, Boost rectifier, chopper, dsPIC30f4012

Abstract

ABSTRAKSwitched Reluctance Motor (SRM) banyak digunakan pada dunia industri saat ini karena memiliki kelebihan, faktor kelebihan SRM yaitu magnet permanen yang digantikan oleh rotor inti besi dan stator berupa belitan sehingga lebih efisien dalam perawatannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memaksimalkan kinerja SRM dengan meningkatkan kecepatan, meningkatkan kepresisian pada sudut penyalaan, meningkatkan torka, menghaluskan bentuk gelombang tegangan dan arus. Metode yang digunakan adalah perangkat kontrol jenis Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), sensor hall effect dan rotary encoder digunakan untuk mendeteksi posisi rotor, informasi posisi rotor digunakan sebagai pedoman penentuan sudut penyalaan oleh FPGA. Hasil pengujian pertama, sensor hall effect menghasilkan kecepatan 1935 RPM, pengujian kedua yang menggunakan rotary encoder menghasilkan performa lebih baik pada kecepatan 2210 RPM. Gelombang osiloskop yang dihasilkan oleh rotary encoder juga menunjukkan hasil lebih presisi dibandingkan dengan hall effect, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi optimalisasi SRM lebih optimal menggunakan rotary encoder.Kata kunci: FPGA, Hall Effect, Rotary Encoder, Switched Reluctance Motor, Torka ABSTRACTSwitched Reluctance Motor (SRM) is widely used in the industrial world today because it has advantages. The aim of this research is to maximize SRM performance by increasing speed, increasing precision at ignition angle, increasing torque, smoothing voltage and current waveforms. The method used is a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) type control device, a hall effect sensor and a rotary encoder are used to detect the rotor position, the rotor position information is used to determine the ignition angle by the FPGA. The results of the first test, the hall effect sensor produces a speed of 1935 RPM, the second test using a rotary encoder produces better performance at a speed of 2210 RPM. The oscilloscope waveform produced by the rotary encoder also shows more precise results than the hall effect, it can be concluded that the SRM optimization strategy is more optimal using a rotary encoder.Keywords: FPGA, Hall Effect, Rotary Encoder, Switched Reluctance Motor, Torque

Abstract

Terrorism is a global threat that affects the political, economic, and social stability of many countries. The number of victims killed is based on the duration of the terrorism incident. This study uses the Residual Network (ResNet) model to classify terrorism incidents based on the duration of the incident (less than 24 hours and more than 24 hours) using the Global Terrorism Database (GTD) dataset. The GTD data used covers terrorism incidents from 1970 to 2017, with a total of 181,691. After preprocessing the data by converting categorical features to numeric and removing missing values, the data was divided into training, validation, and test sets with a composition of 70%, 15%, and 15%. The results show that the ResNet model is able to achieve a validation accuracy of 99.61% and a validation loss value of 0.0183. These findings show that the ResNet model is effective in classifying the duration of terrorism incidents and has the potential to be used in the development of better terrorism prevention systems.

Abstract

SOPEP (Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan) is an emergency plan for oil pollution at sea and in accordance with MARPOL 73/78 these requirements are regulated in Annex I, with guidelines set by MEPC (Marine Environmental Protection Committee). The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of SOPEP in dealing with oil pollution for the safety of MT ship crews. SP 5 BSI.In this research the author used a qualitative research method, a qualitative method, namely a research method that is descriptive and tends to use analysis.The research results show that the implementation of SOPEP as a tool for dealing with oil pollution is still not appropriate. This can be proven that the ship’s crew does not understand how to use SOPEP according to applicable regulations and doesn’t understanding of how to use oil Spill prevention equipment.

Abstract

أسئلة البحث هي هل هناك تأثير تدريس المفردات على قدرة الطلاب في الإنشاء بمعهد محمدية كوالا مادو في الصف الثالث المرحلة المتوسطة؟ وأغراضه معرفة نتيجة الإنشاء في معهد محمدية كوالا مادو بوسيلة تدريس المفردات في الفصل التجريبي وبدونه في الفصل الضابطي. والمنهج المستخدم هو البحث الميداني الكمي بالنوع التجريبي، بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطية. والطريقة المستعملة هي طريقة إحصائية. والنتيجة من هذا البحث هي وجد الكاتب تأثيرا إيجابيا على قدرة الطلاب بعد إعطاء العلاج في المجموعة التجريبية بوسيلة تدريس المفردات بأن هناك ارتفاع درجة المعدل إلى حد متوسط لدى المجموعة التجريبية بعد أن أعطيت العلاج، فالنتيجة للمجموعة التجريبية قبل أن يتم العلاج بمعدل 70,75، وبعد أن أعطيت العلاج، حصلت نتيجة للمجموعة التجريبية بمعدل 82، إذن لقد ارتفعت النتيجة للمجموعة التجريبية إلى 11،28.

Abstract

The rapid proliferation of political information on the internet has exacerbated conflicts within political parties, including elite disputes, dualism, candidate controversies, and management issues, which can undermine political stability and public trust. To address these challenges, this study introduces the Modified Recurrent Convolutional Neural Network (M-RCNN), an enhanced RCNN model designed to improve classification accuracy and mitigate overfitting by incorporating additional layers and dropout mechanisms. The primary objective of this research is to provide an efficient and accurate framework for classifying political conflicts and mediation strategies, overcoming the limitations of traditional methods, particularly in handling imbalanced datasets and intricate data patterns. Using a dataset of 1,106 Indonesian news articles categorized into four conflict types—elite disputes, management, presidential, and legislative candidate conflicts—and four mediation strategies—leadership decisions, deliberation, legal channels, and none—the data underwent extensive preprocessing, tokenization, and an 80:20 training-testing split. The M-RCNN achieved a conflict classification accuracy of 98.0%, a precision of 99.0%, and a loss of 0.03, significantly outperforming baseline models, including CNN (85.0% accuracy), RNN with LSTM (88.0%), and standard RCNN (85.0%). For mediation strategy classification, the model demonstrated exceptional performance with an accuracy of 99.0%, a precision of 99.0%, and a loss of 0.01, highlighting its robustness and scalability. This study’s novelty lies in its ability to process imbalanced and complex datasets with unparalleled precision and efficiency, providing a practical framework for automated political conflict analysis and mediation. The findings underline the potential of the M-RCNN model to revolutionize political science applications by delivering reliable, fast, and accurate tools for analyzing and resolving political conflicts, thereby contributing to the advancement of artificial intelligence in promoting political stability and fostering public trust.
