Abstract

Age 0-5 years is the golden age for toddlers because there is a rapid increase in growth and development. Mother must know how important her role is in the family. The problem is that the community still lacks motivation to participate in the KB Village program, their knowledge about how to detect growth and development and recognize signs of failure in child growth and development is still lacking and the KB Village program has not been optimally followed by the community. This condition is feared to have an impact on how the mother is raised in the family, how the mother cares for, cares for and provides the nutrition needed by the child. The target of this activity is the community in Kampung KB Bina Kencana, RT 32, Lebak Village, Bandung, Jambi City. The goal is to increase the knowledge of mothers about how to detect child growth and development and signs of failure in child growth and development to prevent stunting. The implementation method is by providing health education face to face or lectures and discussions with activity participants. This activity was carried out over a period of 6 months while the implementation of providing Health Education was carried out on August 8 2023 at Kampung KB Bina Kencana RT 32, Lebak Village, Bandung, Jambi City. After the activity was carried out, it was seen that there was an increase in the knowledge of the participants as seen from the results of the post test verbally, the expressions of the community who stated they were interested in the material and were motivated to come to the next activity in the KB Village as well as statements from managers who felt helped in running the program. The activity is planned to later be published in the Sinta 5 accredited Abdimas Baiturrahim Journal.

Abstract

The degenerative process in the elderly will cause a decline in function, one of which is physiological function. The decline in physiological function that is most often experienced by the elderly is a decrease in the need for rest and sleep. Sleep needs that are met in quality and quantity can improve the quality of life. One of the best ways to achieve sound sleep in the elderly is with sleep hygiene. Sleep can be influenced by an exercise or habit called sleep hygiene. Exercise or good sleep hygiene habits can prevent the development of sleep disorders. This research aims to determine the description of sleep hygiene for the elderly in the working area of the Rawasari Health Center, Jambi City. This research is a type of non-experimental research with a descriptive survey design, using quantitative methods and a cross-sectional approach. The results provide information that the majority or 110 elderly people (70.5%) out of 156 people are female. The sleep hygiene score for elderly people in the Rawasari Health Center working area, Jambi City, was 112 people (71.8%) categorized as good, 41 people (26.3%) categorized as moderate and 3 people (1.9%) categorized as bad. It can be concluded that the sleep hygiene score for elderly people in the Rawasari Health Center working area, Jambi City, is in the majority category as good.

Abstract

The Company is very important to have the ability to distribute the strategies that have been set, especially in the implementation of corporate governance so that the Company is able to ensure that it can achieve predetermined goals. Purpose: the purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the Company is able to distribute Corporate Governance strategies to improve marketing performance through consumer relationship management and marketing orientation. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 85 respondents who work as leaders in property industry companies in Makassar City. Result: corporate governance has no significant affect on marketing performance but corporate governance affect on customer relation and marketing orientation, customer relation affect on marketing performance, marketing orientation affect marketing performance. This research indicate that corporate governance affect marketing performance through customer relations and this research result also indicated that corporate governance affect marketing performance through marketing. Conclusion: D istribution of management policies to improve performance is very important to be considered by distribution management requires effective tools and this research shows that the distribution of the Company's strategy can be carried out through the concept of customer relationship management and marketing orientation.

Abstract

The brightness of the night sky is a necessity in astronomical observations. Sky with minimal light pollution can be optimized for observation and research. Light pollution is an obstacle in astronomical observations, one of the light pollution that affects the night sky a lot is artificial lights that are not properly conditioned. In this study, it is explained how the impact of artificial lights on good sky brightness using the Sky Quality Meter (SQM). By observing several nights, it was found that locations with a lot of light exposure can make the sky brighter ~3.3 times compared to locations with minimal light.

Abstract

Pembuatan mesin assembly didasari karena permintaan produk baru dari HPM (Honda Prospek Motor) yaitu part cover comp water outlet. Cover comp water outet merupakan salah satu komponen yang digunakan sebagai saluran sekaligus tempat thermostat pada water pump. Dalam pembuatan part cover comp water outlet, process Engineering membuat proses-proses kerja apasaja yang diperlukan untuk membuat cover comp water outlet tersebut. Menanggapi hal ini, dibuatlah pengadaan mesin-mesin baru yang mendukung proses tersebut. Salah satu mesin yang digunakan untuk proses pembuatan cover comp water outlet adalah mesin assembly. Proses assembly merupakan proses penggabungan antara part cover comp water outlet dengan part joint pipe. Mesin assembly ini berfungsi untuk assembly cover comp water outlet dengan joint pipe secara otomatis, dengan hasil kualitas assembly adalah 24 ± 0.4 mm. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah sistem kontrol mesin assembly part cover comp water outlet menggunakan PLC Omron CP1E di PT. Astra Otoparts TBK Divisi Nusa Metal. Hasil dan manfaat dari pembuatan sistem kontrol ini adalah mesin dapat berfungsi sesuai dengan permintaan custome ryang telah memenuhi standar kualitas assembly yaitu 24 ± 0.4 mm, serta dapat bekerja sesuai cycle time sehingga dapat memenuhi permintaan produksi untuk cover comp water outlet tersebut.

Abstract

Mesin washing phospating merupakan salah satu mesin yang terdapat pada line R/A di IGP-1, berfungsi untuk menambah daya rekat antara cat dengan part housing assy. Untuk mendapat hasil phospating yang baik pada mesin washing phospating, maka terdapat beberapa parameter operasional yang harus di perhatikan yaitu nilai suhu air perendaman, konsentrasi air perendaman dan waktu perendaman housing assy. Sistem kontrol yang dioperasikan secara manual untuk pengaturan suhu, ketinggian air dan konsentrasi air terdiri dari kran steam, kran air dan penuangngan cairan phospate oleh operator ke dalam bak. Sedangkan untuk penentuan waktu perendaman hanya berdasarkan perkiraan operator, karena belum ada penanda waktu. Pengontrol ini sering menyebabkan parameter suhu air, ketinggian air dan waktu perendaman tidak sesuai dengan ketetapan yang telah ditentukan oleh standar. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka dilakukan improvement. Improvement ini bertujuan untuk menjamin parameter mesin washing phospating sesuai dengan standar dengan merancang pengontrol suhu, pengontrol ketinggian air dan pengontrol waktu perendaman housing assy. Sistem kontrol yang digunakan adalah berbasis PLC dengan tipe FX1N-60MR. Setelah melakukan pengamatan kurang lebih satu bulan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa improvement sistem kontrol yang baru mampu mengatasi masalah tersebut. Parameter operasional suhu memiliki akurasi kisaran 55°C-65°C, ketinggian air selalu stabil yaitu pada ketinggian 530-700 mm dari dasar bak. Selain itu, waktu perendaman housing assy mencapai nilai standar yaitu 120 detik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang manufaktur. Perusahaan Manufaktur ini mempunyai project untuk mengubah kerja manual menjadi otomatis pada line BD 4. Line BD 4 adalah line yang memproduksi brake drum kendaraan roda 4. Pada line ini masih terdapat beberapa proses manual salah satunya adalah proses blowing. Proses blowing adalah proses untuk membersihkan part dari cairan honing liquid yang didapat pada proses permesinan sebelumnya. Proses blowing ini harus dilakukan karena sebelum dilakukan proses meassuring, part harus bersih dari cairan. Namun proses blowing manual ini sering kali tidak membuat part bersih dari cairan honing liquid sehingga mengakibatkan terganggunya proses meassurring part dan juga proses ini membuat area line BD 4 menjadi licin dan kotor, karena proses ini dilakukan di atas konveyor. Sehingga, untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut ini, penulis dan tim kaizen melakukan sebuah improvement dengan membuat mesin auto blow untuk menggantikan proses blowing manual. Mesin auto blow menggunakan PLC untuk sistem kontrolnya, hal ini untuk mempermudah jika mesin akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Setelah dibuatnya mesin auto blow, proses blowing manual menjadi hilang dan produktivitas perusahaan menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

Eye diseases, particularly cataracts, are the leading cause of blindness worldwide. This community service program by the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University, was conducted at the Pangkalan Public Health Center, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, by empowering PELITA (Posyandu) cadres in early detection of cataracts. Methods included counseling, training, and eye examination simulations for 40 cadres, followed by community screening using visual acuity and anterior segment examinations. Evaluation was carried out with pre- and post-tests, satisfaction surveys, and follow-up on patients referred for surgery. The average cadre score improved from 68 (pre-test) to 74.5 (post-test), indicating increased knowledge. A total of 71 patients were screened, including 40 cataract and 8 pterygium cases; 26 cataract and 4 pterygium patients subsequently underwent surgery. Cadres reported high satisfaction with the training and expressed readiness to continue participation. This program demonstrates that cadre training is effective in improving early detection of cataracts and other visual impairments, and provides a foundation for establishing a Vision Center in Lima Puluh Kota.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the hadiths discussing female circumcision from a historical perspective and the sciences (medicine). This approach is multidisciplinary, combining critical traditional methodology with anthropological, historical, and gender studies perspectives. This research systematically analyzes the chain of narrators (sanad) and content (matan) of key hadiths that are often potentially distorted, cultural biases, and the influence of socio-political interests at the time the hadiths were narrated and decodified. Furthermore, this research traces the historical roots of female circumcision practices in various ancient civilizations, including Egypt, Africa, and the Arabian Peninsula, to understand how this practice has evolved and adapted over time. A comparative analysis is conducted on the views of various schools of thought (mazhab) in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) regarding female circumcision, with the aim of uncovering interpretations and arguments that underlie these views. This study concludes that female circumcision in Islam is more appropriately understood as a cultural practice that has been Islamized, rather than a shar‘i obligation based on authentic hadith.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of machine parameter monitoring in the frame assembly line of a motorcycle manufacturing facility. In this process, several machines operate in parallel to integrate key motorcycle components such as engine units, wheels, and body frames. A critical issue identified was that seven machines used standalone controllers that lacked Ethernet communication, limiting real-time monitoring and data acquisition of vital parameters such as status, downtime, and cycle time. To solve this problem, additional programmable controllers were installed using ladder logic programming to retrofit the non-networked machines. These upgrades enabled continuous data transmission and real-time parameter monitoring via a centralized system. The method involved developing a structured architecture capable of collecting, processing, and visualizing machine condition indicators. The research contribution is (1) the successful integration of isolated machines into a unified monitoring network using low-cost PLC retrofitting and (2) the deployment of a register-based monitoring system that supports predictive maintenance through real-time alerts. The system was tested in a live production environment, where more than 80 parameter registers were monitored successfully. Results demonstrated improvements in machine utilization and maintenance response time, with reductions in unplanned downtime and better traceability of machine conditions. The new system improved operational transparency and supported data-driven decision-making for maintenance planning. In conclusion, the implementation of this monitoring system optimized industry 4.0 on the supervision of machine parameters and significantly enhanced production reliability and efficiency in the frame assembly line.
