Abstract

Organisasi dan komunikasi terkait satu sama lain.  Untuk keberlangsungan dan keberhasilan organisasi, komunikasi sangat penting.  Para siswa SMK YPKK 2 Sleman ingin belajar tentang komunikasi dan organisasi melalui pengabdian masyarakat ini.  Siswa SMK YPKK 2 Sleman ini melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan metode penyuluhan.  Setelah penyuluhan selesai, 96,77% audiens memiliki pemahaman tentang komunikasi dan organisasi. Mereka juga memiliki pemahaman tentang organisasi dan komunikasi, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh banyaknya keinginan mereka untuk mempelajari komunikasi dalam organisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on the job satisfaction of employees in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Krapyak Wetan area of Yogyakarta. The method used is quantitative with Non-Probability Sampling through Purposive Sampling involving one hundred respondents. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents using a Likert scale research instrument. The data were processed using SPSS version 27, and the analyses performed included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results show that collectively, compensation (X1) and work environment (X2) have a significant effect on job satisfaction (Y), with an F calculated value of 124.960, which is greater than the F table value of 3.09, and a significance result of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Partially, compensation has a significant positive effect with a t calculated value of 8.449, which is greater than the t table value of 1.661, with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Similarly, the work environment also has a significant positive effect with a t calculated value of 5.128, which is greater than the t table value of 1.661, with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, thus affecting job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination value of 71.5% indicates that the model can explain job satisfaction moderately.

Abstract

Game-Based Learning is an application that encourages active engagement and enhances knowledge and skills. Its effectiveness in fostering student competencies has been proven and applies in various fields. This systematic review analyzes the science topics, student competencies, and learning outcomes associated with Game-Based Learning implementation in primary and secondary education. The method used refers to the procedures outlined by Kitchenham and Charters. The reporting adheres to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The research sample consisted of 22 articles extracted from 478 articles based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The review results show that GBL is applicable across all core science domains-namely physics, biology, and chemistry. The competencies that can be improved using Game-Based Learning consist of three aspects, namely affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. Science learning using Game-Based Learning can significantly improve the three students’ competencies in almost all studies. To conclude, Game-Based Learning can serve as an effective and recommended learning strategy to support the digital transformation of science education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of job stress, workload, and work conflict on the intention to leave (ITL) among education personnel in private elementary schools in Bogor City, Indonesia. Employing an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design, this study quantitatively tests Gibson et al.'s stress model on a sample of educational personnel, followed by qualitative exploration to enrich the understanding of the quantitative findings. The research results indicate that excessive workload and unresolved work conflict significantly contribute to increased levels of job stress among the education personnel. Furthermore, path analysis reveals that job stress plays a crucial mediating role between workload and work conflict with the intention to leave. In other words, workload and work conflict indirectly increase the desire to leave the job by increasing the experienced stress. The practical implications of these findings lead to the formulation of intervention strategies aimed at reducing intention to leave through the management of organizational stressors. Private elementary schools need to focus on alleviating unrealistic workloads, minimizing sources of internal conflict, and developing effective stress management programs to enhance the retention of their educational personnel. This study provides valuable insights for school management in creating a more conducive and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam pengaruh kompensasi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan di PT Makmur Berkat Solusi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik total sampling pada 35 karyawan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, serta koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel independen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya perusahaan untuk terus mengembangkan strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia melalui pemberian kompensasi yang kompetitif, motivasi yang terarah, kepemimpinan yang adaptif, serta lingkungan kerja yang mendukung produktivitas dan kesejahteraan karyawan.

Abstract

This systematic review aims to summarize the technological resources for teaching and learning about computational thinking (CT) in physics and provide suggestions to conduct new studies in future research. A total of 22 academic articles on CT in physical learning were reviewed from 2012 to 2022. The number of research participants was 3,269, with details of 2,752 college students, 439 high school students, 32 junior high school students, 20 elementary students, 21 teachers, and five librarians. This study confirmed that research on CT in physical learning has been dominated by two countries, the United States and Indonesia. Over the past 10 years, there has been an increase in physics courses focusing on topics in kinematics, force and motion, and electricity. The common method practices are quantitative and qualitative, with some developing learning. The implications of this research can inform education experts, educators, and technologists interested in the CT environment and technological development in physics learning. Computational skills in physics have the potential to improve cognitive, affective, and psychomotor outcomes, including students’ thinking abilities. Students can benefit from their experience learning physics using the concept of CT because they can solve technology-based problems and develop various competencies needed in learning physics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat kreativitas guru IPS dalam penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis digital di SMPN 24 Makassar. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan enam guru IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung meliputi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang mendorong inovasi, keakraban peserta didik dengan teknologi, program pelatihan pemerintah, dan dukungan sekolah dalam bentuk moral, fasilitas, serta kolaborasi antar guru. Namun, kreativitas guru terhambat oleh keterbatasan sarana prasarana, minimnya pelatihan berkala dan keterampilan digital sebagian guru, serta kurangnya dukungan maksimal dari pihak sekolah dalam pengadaan fasilitas dan pengembangan SDM. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun terdapat potensi besar dari siswa yang melek teknologi, sinergi antara guru, sekolah, dan pemerintah sangat krusial untuk mengatasi tantangan dan mengoptimalkan pembelajaran digital.This study analyzes the supporting and inhibiting factors of IPS teachers' creativity in implementing digital-based learning media at SMPN 24 Makassar. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data was gathered through in-depth interviews with six IPS teachers. The findings indicate that supporting factors include the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which encourages innovation, students' familiarity with technology, government training programs, and school support in the form of morale, facilities, and teacher collaboration. However, teachers' creativity is hindered by limited infrastructure, insufficient regular training and digital skills among some teachers, and inadequate maximum support from the school regarding facility provision and human resource development. This study concludes that despite the significant potential of technologically literate students, synergy among teachers, schools, and the government is crucial to overcome challenges and optimize digital learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly ChatGPT, has sparked interest in its application in education. This study aims to investigate the potential of ChatGPT in helping students understand and solve physics problems, focusing on the Test of Understanding Graphs in Kinematics and the Determining and Interpreting Resistive Electric Circuit Concepts Test. The study involved 25 physics education students who completed these tests independently and with ChatGPT's assistance. The results revealed that students with a strong foundational understanding and reflective abilities interacted more effectively with ChatGPT, leading to improved answers and deeper conceptual understanding. In contrast, students with weaker prior knowledge tended to accept ChatGPT’s answers without critical reflection, perpetuating errors. Furthermore, ChatGPT showed limitations in interpreting image-based questions, reading scales, and providing consistent responses to concept-specific queries. These findings suggest that while ChatGPT has the potential to enhance learning, it requires thoughtful integration, particularly in helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teachers are encouraged to use ChatGPT’s limitations to design assessments that minimize the risk of cheating and foster deeper understanding. In conclusion, this study underscores the importance of combining AI tools with strong conceptual foundations and active reflection to optimize learning outcomes in physics education. Future research should focus on refining strategies for using AI in education to address its current limitations and enhance its effectiveness in complex learning scenarios.

Abstract

The development of students' creative thinking in physics remains a challenge due to the dominance of conventional instructional methods that lack interactive and contextual engagement. This study addresses the urgent need for innovative digital learning resources by developing an interactive physics e-book based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, focusing on optical device topics. The objective is to enhance students’ creative thinking skills through student-centered learning integrated with digital platforms. Using the ADDIE development framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the e-book was designed and validated for its design, content, construct, and creative thinking assessment tools. Validation results showed high Aiken’s V scores across all components, indicating strong validity. Effectiveness was tested through a quasi-experimental approach involving 35 senior high school students, using pretest and posttest instruments. The N-Gain scores for both modeling (0.702) and implementation classes (0.707) demonstrated significant improvements in students’ creative thinking, categorized as high. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of Heyzine and Liveworksheet platforms with PhET virtual labs, providing an interactive, accessible, and collaborative learning environment. The findings suggest that the developed PBL-based e-book effectively facilitates contextual learning and fosters creative problem-solving skills. In conclusion, this e-book serves as a validated and impactful instructional tool that contributes meaningfully to physics education by promoting higher-order thinking through innovative digital pedagogy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh digitalisasi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan penumpang di Terminal Penumpang Pelabuhan Murhum Baubau. Kualitas pelayanan diukur menggunakan lima dimensi SERVQUAL, yaitu bukti fisik (tangibles), keandalan (reliability), daya tanggap (responsiveness), jaminan (assurance), dan empati (empathy). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei terhadap 100 responden yang merupakan pengguna jasa terminal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan uji chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara digitalisasi dengan masing-masing dimensi kualitas pelayanan. Dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan variabel digitalisasi terhadap variabel kualitas pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap dimensi bukti fisik, keandalan, dan jaminan, dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Namun, digitalisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi daya tanggap dan empati, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi > 0,05. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun digitalisasi mampu meningkatkan aspek fisik dan kepercayaan terhadap pelayanan, namun belum mampu meningkatkan aspek interaksi dan kepedulian petugas terhadap penumpang secara personal. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi peningkatan pelayanan publik berbasis digital agar tidak hanya fokus pada efisiensi sistem, tetapi juga pada pendekatan yang lebih humanis.
